Although the performance of perovskite solar cells(PSCs)has been dramatically increased in recent years,stability is still the main obstacle preventing the PSCs from being *** device instability can be caused by a variety of reasons,including ions diffusion,surface and grain boundary defects,*** this work,the cross-linkable tannic acid(TA)is introduced to modify perovskite film through post-treatment *** numerous organic functional groups(–OH and C=O)in TA can interact with the uncoordinated Pb^(2+)and i^(-)ions in perovskite,thus passivating defects and inhibiting ions *** addition,the formed TA network can absorb a small amount of the residual moisture inside the device to protect the perovskite ***,TA modification regulates the energy level of perovskite,and reduces interfacial charge ***,following TA treatment,the device efficiency is increased significantly from 21.31%to 23.11%,with a decreased hysteresis ***,the treated device shows excellent air,thermal,and operational *** light of this,the readily available,inexpensive TA has the potential to operate as a multipurpose interfacial modifier to increase device efficiency while also enhancing device stability.

AiM:To develop an automated model for subfoveal choroidal thickness(SFCT)detection in optical coherence tomography(OCT)images,addressing manual fovea location and choroidal contour ***:Two procedures were proposed:defining the fovea and segmenting the *** localization from B-scan OCT image sequence with three-dimensional reconstruction(LocBscan-3D)predicted fovea location using central foveal depression features,and fovea localization from two-dimensional en-face OCT(LocEN-2D)used a mask region-based convolutional neural network(Mask R-CNN)model for optic disc detection,and determined the fovea location based on optic disc relative *** segmentation also employed Mask ***:For 53 eyes in 28 healthy subjects,LocBscan-3D’s mean difference between manual and predicted fovea locations was 170.0μm,LocEN-2D yielded 675.9μ***-2D performed better in non-high myopia group(P=0.02).SFCT measurements from Mask R-CNN aligned with manual ***:Our models accurately predict SFCT in OCT ***-3D excels in precise fovea localization even with high ***-2D shows high detection rates but lower accuracy especially in the high myopia *** both models offers a robust SFCT assessment approach,promising efficiency and accuracy for large-scale studies and clinical use.

We present a numerical approach for modeling unknown dynamical systems using partially observed data,with a focus on biological systems with(relatively)complex dynamical *** an extension of the recently developed deep neural network(DNN)learning methods,our approach is particularly suitable for practical situations when(i)measurement data are available for only a subset of the state variables,and(ii)the system parameters cannot be observed or measured at *** demonstrate that,with a properly designed DNN structure with memory terms,effective DNN models can be learned from such partially observed data containing hidden *** learned DNN model serves as an accurate predictive tool for system *** a few representative biological problems,we demonstrate that such DNN models can capture qualitative dynamical behavior changes in the system,such as bifurcations,even when the parameters controlling such behavior changes are completely unknown throughout not only the model learning process but also the system prediction *** learned DNN model effectively creates a“closed”model involving only the observables when such a closed-form model does not exist mathematically.

in this paper,i criticize Joel Feinberg's argument of soft paternalism,which stands against hard paternalism,as being *** assessing one's voluntariness is very difficult and controversial,paternalistic measures would be preferable to be implemented by hard paternalism rather than soft paternalism.i then examine four usual criticisms of hard paternalism from the perspective of utilitarianism and the principle of autonomy.i argue that these criticisms are unsound and unfounded,and i defend hard paternalism from the perspective of Confucian familism.i argue that as one's life and identity are inseparable from one's family,“self-regarding”actions,traditionally understood,do not only affect the self,but also one's family ***,paternalistic measures to protect individuals from self-harming are also aimed to protect their family members which are indeed compatible with Mill's harm principle.

Endometriosis is a common and benign angiogenesisdependent gynecological disorder,which refers to the proliferation and growth of endometrium-like tissues with neovasculature formation outside of the uterus.1 Available medical treatments for endometriosis containing hormonal and non-hormonal treatments had been limited for longterm usage by their side effects.2 ideal medical treatment for endometriosis with efficacy to relieve symptoms and suppress endometriotic lesion growth and minimal side effects has been longing for decades.3 Angiogenesis is a promising therapeutic target for endometriosis.
