A Layer-IntegratedModel of Solute Transport in HeterogeneousMedia

This study presents a numerical solution to the three-dimensional solute transport in heterogeneous media by using a layer-integrated *** vertical spatial variation of soil and hydraulic properties within each layer,a threedimensional solute transport can be simplified as a quasi-three-dimensional solute transport which couples a horizontal two-dimensional simulation and a vertical onedimensional *** finite analytic numericalmethod was used to discretize the derived two-dimensional governing equation.A quadratic function was used to approximate the vertical one-dimensional concentration distribution in the layer to ensure the continuity of concentration and flux at the interface between the adjacent *** integration over each layer,a set of system of equations can be generated for a single column of vertical cells and solved numerically to give the vertical solute concentration *** solute concentration field was then obtained by solving all columns of vertical cells to achieve convergence with the iterative solution *** proposed model was verified through examples from the published literatures including four verifications in terms of analytical and experimental *** of simulation results indicates that the proposed model satisfies the solute concentration profiles obtained from experiments in time and space.

Heart failure(HF)is a complex syndrome characterized by the reduced capacity of the heart to adequately fill or eject ***,HF remains a leading cause of morbidity and mortality worldwide,imposing a substantial burden on global healthcare *** advancements have highlighted the therapeutic potential of mesenchymal stromal cells(MSCs)in managing ***,umbilical cord-derived MSCs(UC-MSCs)have demonstrated superior clinical potential compared to traditional bone marrow-derived MSCs;this is evident in their non-invasive collection process,higher proliferation efficacy,and lower immunogenicity and tumorigenicity,as substantiated by preclinical *** the feasibility and safety of UC-MSCs have been tested in animal models,the application of UC-MSCs in HF treatment remains challenged by issues such as inaccurate targeted migration and low survival rates of ***,further research and clinical trials are imperative to advance the clinical application of UC-MSCs.

Marine fish diversity in the Beibu Gulf from 2014 to 2022 was analyzed,using various methods including at-sea fisheries resource surveys,fishing port surveys,underwater survey techniques,and data from literature,books,and databases,from which 1059 fish species across 40 orders,166 families,and 503 genera were *** them,Acanthuriformes displayed the highest diversity,followed by Carangiformes and ***,eight alien species were found in the Beibu *** International Union for Conservation of Nature(IUCN)Red List assessment revealed 51threatened species,primarily cartilaginous *** changes affected 88.70%of species due to classification adjustments,misidentifications,and junior *** study contributed new data of the gulf,including one additional order,six new families,34 new genera,and 81 new species,emphasizing the dynamic nature of marine *** diversity in the gulf was relatively lower than the broader South China Sea,attributed to limited habitats and survey *** survey methods,such as gill nets,trap nets,and underwater cameras,yielded varying *** currents may have transported deep-sea species into the Beibu Gulf,leading to accidental *** gaps exist in unexplored areas,warranting further ***,the Beibu Gulf hosts significant marine biodiversity,but taxonomic challenges and undiscovered species require new research and conservation efforts.

针对追求紧凑设计与高效运转过程中微型滚动转子压缩机面临的内部制冷剂泄漏难题，提出了一种基于间隙泄漏数学模型的优化设计方法．通过分析在固定排气量条件下，最小泄漏通道间隙、相对偏心距及相对气缸长度对R290与R32型压缩机泄漏量的影响，比较两种制冷剂压缩机在不同结构配置下的泄漏损耗，识别出影响能效的关键结构参数．据此，提出了优化设计方案，调整相对偏心距和相对气缸长度至0.213 0和0.4，同时将径向间隙减至10μm，可使容积效率从46.77%提高至67.48%，实现了44.28%的效率提升．

Brown carbon(BrC)has attracted widespread attention because of its strong absorption of solar radiation in the ultraviolet-visible wavelength range,which causes adverse impacts on human ***,BrC was a physically defined class of ***,current research has gradually shifted towards the identification of its chemical groups,because its light-absorbing capability,chemical properties and health effects mainly depend on the chemical composition of its ***,this review mainly focuses on the chemical understanding of BrC based on chromophores,and the secondary formation mechanism of chromophores,photosensitized reactions,and human health effects of BrC were detailly ***,BrC chromophores are divided into five categories:nitrogen-heterocycles,nitrogen-chain,aromatic species,oligomers and sulfur-containing organic *** chromophore precursor species exhibit variations,and their formation mechanisms are also ***,BrC can trigger the production of secondary organic aerosol(SOA)precursors or cause SOA growth because BrC is an important component of light-absorbing particles formed during incomplete combustion of biomass and fossil fuels,potentially exerting adverse effects on human ***,developing sufficiently separated methods for BrC and refining algorithms and machine learning can lead to a more effective understanding of the chemical composition of chromophores,thus enabling better evaluation of the atmospheric effects and health impacts of *** all,this review provides new insights into the categories of BrC chromophores and new advance in secondary formation mechanisms,photosensitized reactions,and human health effects on the basis of chemical structures.

Mechanical properties and flow stress constitutive relationship of Ti–6Al–4V alloy with equiaxed microstructure at cryogenic temperatures

This paper investigates the uniaxial tensile mechanical properties and flow behavior of Ti-6Al-4V alloys with equiaxed microstructure at cryogenic temperatures ranging from 77 K to298 K and strain rates from 10^(-4)/s to 10^(-2)/*** electron microscopy is utilized to analyze the fracture morphology,aiming to reveal the fracture behavior at various *** applicability of the Zener-Hollomon parameter and the Johnson-Cook model in describing the flow stress of Ti-6Al-4V at cryogenic temperatures is ***,a constitutive relationship modeling method based on the variational recurrent networks is *** test results show a significant increase in the strength of equiaxed Ti-6Al-4V alloy under cryogenic conditions while the plastic deformation process is ***,the fracture analysis indicates that even at 77 K,the fracture process is still dominated by ductile fracture,and brittle fracture does not occur within the range of 77 K to 298 *** fitting results validate the performance of the Zener-Hollomon parameter and the Johnson-Cook model in describing the deformation flow stress of Ti-6Al-4V alloy at cryogenic *** results also indicate that the proposed constitutive relationship modeling method based on the variational recurrent network performs better,making it a potential method for widespread applications.

Activation of peroxymonosulfate by sustainable biomass-based carbon nanotubes for controlling the spread of plant viruses in water environments

With the increasing demand for water in hydroponic systems and agricultural irrigation,viral diseases have seriously affected the yield and quality of *** removing plant viruses in water environments,virus transmission can be prevented and agricultural production and ecosystems can be *** so far,there have been few reports on the removal of plant viruses in water ***,in this study,easily recyclable biomass-based carbon nanotubes catalysts were synthesized with varying metal activities to activate peroxymonosulfate(PMS).Among them,the magnetic 0.125Fe@NCNTs-1/PMS system showed the best overall removal performance against pepper mild mottle virus,with a 5.9 log_(10)removal within 1 ***,the key reactive species in the 0.125Fe@NCNTs-1/PMS system is^(1)O_(2),which can maintain good removal effect in real water matrices(river water and tap water).Through RNA fragment analyses and label free analysis,it was found that this system could effectively cleave virus particles,destroy viral proteins and expose their *** capsid protein of pepper mild mottle virus was effectively decomposed where serine may be the main attacking sites by^(1)O_(2).Long viral RNA fragments(3349 and 1642 nt)were cut into smaller fragments(∼160 nt)and caused their *** summary,this study contributes to controlling the spread of plant viruses in real water environment,which will potentially help protect agricultural production and food safety,and improve the health and sustainability of ecosystems.
