An Effective Machine-Learning Based Feature Extraction/Recognition Model for Fetal Heart Defect Detection from 2D Ultrasonic Imageries

Congenital heart defect,accounting for about 30%of congenital defects,is the most common one.Data shows that congenital heart defects have seriously affected the birth rate of healthy newborns.In Fetal andNeonatal Cardiology,medical imaging technology(2D ultrasonic,MRI)has been proved to be helpful to detect congenital defects of the fetal heart and assists sonographers in prenatal diagnosis.It is a highly complex task to recognize 2D fetal heart ultrasonic standard plane(FHUSP)manually.Compared withmanual identification,automatic identification through artificial intelligence can save a lot of time,ensure the efficiency of diagnosis,and improve the accuracy of diagnosis.In this study,a feature extraction method based on texture features(Local Binary Pattern LBP and Histogram of Oriented Gradient HOG)and combined with Bag of Words(BOW)model is carried out,and then feature fusion is performed.Finally,it adopts Support VectorMachine(SVM)to realize automatic recognition and classification of FHUSP.The data includes 788 standard plane data sets and 448 normal and abnormal plane data sets.Compared with some other methods and the single method model,the classification accuracy of our model has been obviously improved,with the highest accuracy reaching 87.35%.Similarly,we also verify the performance of the model in normal and abnormal planes,and the average accuracy in classifying abnormal and normal planes is 84.92%.The experimental results show that thismethod can effectively classify and predict different FHUSP and can provide certain assistance for sonographers to diagnose fetal congenital heart disease.

Use of catalytic wet air oxidation (CWAO) for pretreatment of high-salinity high-organic wastewater

Catalytic wet air oxidation(CWAO)coupled desalination technology provides a possibility for the effective and economic degradation of high salinity and high organic wastewater.Chloride widely occurs in natural and wastewaters,and its high content jeopardizes the efficacy of Advanced oxidation process(AOPs).Thus,a novel chlorine ion resistant catalyst Bsite Ru doped LaFe_(1-x)Ru_(x)O_(3-)δin CWAO treatment of chlorine ion wastewater was examined.Especially,LaFe_(0.85)Ru_(0.15)O_(3-δ)was 45.5% better than that of the 6%RuO_(2)@TiO_(2)(commercial carrier)on total organic carbon(TOC)removal.Also,doped catalysts LaFe_(1-x)Ru_(x)O_(3-)δshowed better activity than supported catalysts RuO_(2)@LaFeO_(3) and RuO_(2)@TiO_(2) with the same Ru content.Moreover,LaFe_(0.85)Ru_(0.15)O_(3-)δhas novel chlorine ion resistance no matter the concentration of Cl^(−) and no Ru dissolves after the reaction.X-ray diffraction(XRD)refinement,X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS),transmission electron microscope(TEM),and X-ray absorption fine structure(XAFS)measurements verified the structure of LaFe_(0.85)Ru_(0.15)O_(3-)δ.Kinetic data and density functional theory(DFT)proved that Fe is the site of acetic acid oxidation and adsorption of chloride ions.The existence of Fe in LaFe_(0.85)Ru_(0.15)O_(3-)δcould adsorb chlorine ion(catalytic activity inhibitor),which can protect the Ru site and other active oxygen species to exert catalytic activity.This work is essential for the development of chloride-resistant catalyst in CWAO.

精英协同进化的蜉蝣算法

蜉蝣算法的种群多样性低、寻优性能差,为此提出基于精英协同进化的蜉蝣算法(ECMA).将雄性蜉蝣种群根据自身种群适应度分为精英种群和普通种群,精英个体进行自我学习以保持种群的多样性,实现高水平的全局搜索;普通个体飞向统一目标进行局部开发,以提高ECMA的收敛速度.根据婚姻市场理论改进雌性蜉蝣的位置更新,提高ECMA的寻优性能;引入新的自适应重力系数平衡全局搜索和局部开发能力,提高ECMA的收敛精度;引入莱维飞行的跳出策略,避免ECMA陷入局部最优.基于20个基准测试函数和CEC2019测试函数进行算法的仿真优化分析,与蜉蝣算法以及其他优秀的群智能算法相比,ECMA在寻优精度、收敛速度和稳定性方面均有较大提升.

Effects of genistein on neuronal apoptosis,and expression of Bcl-2 and Bax proteins in the hippocampus of ovariectomized rats

Genistein is one of several isoflavones that has a structure similar to 17β-estradiol, has a strong antioxidant effect, and a high affinity to estrogen receptors. At 15 weeks after ovariectomy, the expression of Bcl-2 in the hippocampus of rats decreased and Bax expression increased, with an obvious upregulation of apoptosis. However, intraperitoneal injection of genistein or 17β-estradiol for 15 consecutive weeks from the second day after operation upregulated Bcl-2 protein expression downregulated Bax protein expression, and attenuated hippocampal neuron apoptosis. Our experimental findings indicate that long-term intervention with genistein can lead to a decrease in apoptosis in hippocampal neurons following ovadectomy, upregulate the expression of Bcl-2, and downregulate the expression of Bax. In addition, genistein and 17β-estradiol play equal anti-apoptotic and neuroprotective roles.

A new high-dimensional two-place Alice–Bob-Kadomtsev–Petviashvili(AB-KP)equation is proposed by applying the Alice–Bob-Bob–Alice principle and shifted-parity,delayed time reversal,charge conjugation(■)principle to the usual KP equation.Based on the dependent variable transformation,the bilinear form of the AB-KP system is constructed.Explicit trigonometric-hyperbolic,rational and rational-hyperbolic solutions are presented by taking advantage of the Hirota bilinear method.The obtained breather,lump,and interaction solutions enrich the solution structure of nonlocal nonlinear systems.The three-dimensional graphs of these nonlinear wave solutions are demonstrated by choosing the specific parameters.

Dear Editor,Soil bacteria from the genus Collimonas were isolated for the first time by De Boer et al.,and they have been shown to display antifungal activity toward many different fungi(De Boer et al.,1998).These affected fungi include pathogens of economically important plants,such as spruce,potato,flax,and lettuce,suggesting the potential for the broad application of Collimonas as a biocontrol agent.

Fusaricidins in Paenibacillus polymyxa A21 and their antagonistic activity against Botrytis cinerea on tomato

Four kinds of antifungal compounds from an extract of Paenibacillus polymyxa A21 with molecular masses of 883.56, 897.59, 947.55, and 961.58 Da were characterized as the members of fusaricidin-type of antibiotics according to LC-MS analysis. Fusaricidins isolated from culture filtrate displayed high antagonistic activity against several plant fungal pathogens, especially Botrytis cinerea, the causal agent of gray mold. The fusaricidins biosynthetic gene cluster(BGC) from A21 was cloned by PCR and comparative cluster analysis revealed that gene fus TE, the 3′ boundary of the fusaricidin BGC in strain PKB1, was not present in fusaricidin BGC of A21, indicating that fus TE is not necessary for fusaricidin synthesis. Fusaricidin extract from A21 significantly reduced gray mold disease incidence and severity on tomato. The m RNA levels for three pathogenesis-related proteins(PRs) revealed that treatment of tomato leaves with fusaricidin extract induced the expression of PR genes to different levels, suggesting that one reason for the reduction of gray mold infection by fusaricidin is induction of PR proteins, which lead to increased resistance to pathogens. This is the first report of the application of fusaricidins to control tomato gray mold and the comparative cluster analysis provides important molecular basis for research on fusaricidin biosynthesis.

目的探讨胎儿异常引产产妇的创伤后成长历程,分析促进因素,为开展针对性的护理干预提供参考依据。方法采用目的抽样法和理论抽样法,于2021年5月—2022年2月选取北京市某三级甲等医院产科16例确诊为胎儿异常决定引产的产妇进行半结构式访谈,采用建构主义扎根理论的范式分析资料。结果胎儿异常引产产妇创伤后成长经历了创伤应激期、沉思求助期、接受内化期、创伤后成长期4个时期;每一时期的行为受相应时期心理体验的影响,并影响下一时期的体验;外倾型性格、既往正常的孕产经历、对事件的正向认知、积极的自我认同、良好的社会支持、合理的住院环境与规定、对死亡的开放态度与宗教信仰7个方面可以促进产妇创伤后成长的获得。结论胎儿异常引产产妇的创伤后成长历程是复杂、不断升华的过程。医护人员应关注产妇创伤后成长历程中心理、行为的变化,结合促进创伤后成长的因素,为其提供针对性的指导,帮助其顺利度过这一艰难时期,实现个人成长。

目的探究柴胡疏肝汤联合无抽搐电休克(MECT)在女性躯体化障碍患者中的应用效果。方法将2021年6月—2022年6月该院收治的84例女性躯体化障碍患随机分为对照组42例和试验组42例。对照组予以MECT联合常规西药治疗,试验组在对照组基础上联合柴胡疏肝汤治疗。比较两组治疗前后临床症状、汉密尔顿抑郁量表(HAMD)、汉密尔顿焦虑量表(HAMA)评分、症状自评量表(SCL-90)各因子评分,评价两组的临床疗效及安全性。结果治疗后两组临床症状均减轻,且试验组临床症状较对照组缓解更显著(P0.05)。结论对女性躯体化障碍患者应用柴胡疏肝汤联合MECT治疗,可显著改善患者的临床症状,缓解其神经症状,促进其病情转归,提升其治疗效果,且安全性高。
