随着城市更新进程不断推进,以及城市历史文化的重视程度加深,历史建筑的保护发展成为有待解决的重要问题。相较于有法可依、保护思路明确的国家重点文物保护单位及省(市)级不可移动的文物,历史建筑的保护与更新更加复杂与灵活。该文以绍兴古城内台门民居类历史建筑为切入点,分析其主要特征和更新困境,提出活化利用的更新方式,以三项历史建筑活化利用的实际项目为例,从结构取舍、功能创新、文化保护等方面总结活化利用的关键举措,以期为历史建筑活化利用提供可持续发展的借鉴方式。

To satisfy the demand of zinc oxide(ZnO) with advanced muti-functional properties, significant efforts have been made in synthesizing ZnO with various structure and morphology. In particular, hydrothermal method has attracted considerable attentions, in which Zn4CO3(OH)6·H2O(ZCHH) is commonly found as a metastable precursor. However, the formation and crystallization mechanisms of ZCHH are still lacking and urgently needed. In the present study, the crystallization pathway of ZCHH was systematically investigated, and the results demonstrate that the amorphous zinc carbonate(AZC) was an even more unstable precursor. AZC nanoparticles typically aggregated to form one-dimensional(1D) ZCHH nanorods, however, two-dimensional(2D) ZCHH nanofilms were obtained in the presence of a certain concentration of calcium ion. The results suggest that calcium ions could promote the partial dissolution of AZC and facilitate the aggregation of AZC nanoparticles to form crystalline nanofilm. Moreover, 2D ZnO nanofilms could be obtained by heat treatment of the ZCHH nanofilms. The calcium ion mediated nonclassical crystallization pathway provides inspiration for fabrication of ZnO with controlled morphology and offers new opportunities for inorganic regulated material synthesis.

Forests play a dominant role in the global terrestrial carbon （C） cycle due to their huge area and large capacity for C stock and productivity [1-4]. They occupy around 30% of the global land surface with about 4.2 ×109 ha, store over 80% of vegetation C and around 60% of soil organic C in terrestrial biosphere, and contribute almost the entire terrestrial C sinks during the last 20 years [1, 2]. China provides a unique area to study the forest C cycle. Firstly, it ranks the fifth in forest area in the world, and encompasses various forest biomes, ranging from boreal forests in the north to the subtropical/tropical evergreen broadleaf forests in the south [5]. Moreover, with the implementation of national afforestation and reforestation programs since the late 1970s, China now has the largest plantation area [6].

Yield and quality properties of silage maize and their influencing factors in China

Silage maize(Zea mays L.) is one of the most important forages in the world, and its yield and quality properties are critical parameters for livestock production and assessment of forage values. However, relationships between its yield and quality properties and the controlling factors are not well documented. In this study, we collected 5,663 observations from 196 publications across the country to identify the relationships between yield and quality properties of silage maize and to assess the impact of management practices and climatic factors on its yield and quality in China. The average dry matter yield of silage maize was(19.98±6.93) Mg ha^(-1), and the average value of crude protein, ether extract, crude ash, crude fiber, acid detergent fiber, neutral detergent fiber, nitrogen-free extract, and relative feed value was 7.86%±1.71%, 2.53%±1.01%, 5.05%±1.66%,23.97%±6.34%, 27.62%±7.12%, 51.60%±9.85%, 59.68%±7.72%, and 131.17±31.49, respectively. In general, its nutritive value decreased as its yield increased. Increasing planting density could increase the yield but inhibit the nutritive values, while increasing fertilization could benefit the nutritive values. Geographically, the yield increased and the nutritive value decreased from warm(south) to cold(north) regions. The length of growth duration was a major controlling factor for the patterns of these properties. Our findings provide insights for police-makers to make strategy for achieving high yield and good quality of silage maize and help local people to implement better management practices.

Modeling and prediction of tribological properties of copper/aluminum-graphite self-lubricating composites using machine learning algorithms

The tribological properties of self-lubricating composites are influenced by many variables and complex ***-driven methods,including machine learning(ML)algorithms,can yield a better comprehensive understanding of complex problems under the influence of multiple parameters,typically for how tribological performances and material properties *** of friction coefficients and wear rates of copper/aluminum-graphite(Cu/Al-graphite)self-lubricating composites with their inherent material properties(composition,lubricant content,particle size,processing process,and interfacial bonding strength)and the variables related to the testing method(normal load,sliding speed,and sliding distance)were analyzed using traditional approaches,followed by modeling and prediction of tribological properties through five different ML algorithms,namely support vector machine(SVM),K-Nearest neighbor(KNN),random forest(RF),eXtreme gradient boosting(XGBoost),and least-squares boosting(LSBoost),based on the tribology experimental *** demonstrated that ML models could satisfactorily predict friction coefficient and wear rate from the material properties and testing method variables ***,the LSBoost model based on the integrated learning algorithm presented the best prediction performance for friction coefficients and wear rates,with R^(2) of 0.9219 and 0.9243,*** importance analysis also revealed that the content of graphite and the hardness of the matrix have the greatest influence on the friction coefficients,and the normal load,the content of graphite,and the hardness of the matrix influence the wear rates the most.

Spatio-temporal changes in biomass carbon sinks in China's forests from 1977 to 2008

Forests play a leading role in regional and global carbon (C) cycles. Detailed assessment of the temporal and spatial changes in C sinks/sources of China's forests is critical to the estimation of the national C budget and can help to constitute sustainable forest management policies for climate change. In this study, we explored the spatio-temporal changes in forest biomass C stocks in China between 1977 and 2008, using six periods of the national forest inventory data. According to the definition of the forest inventory, China's forest was categorized into three groups: forest stand, economic forest, and bamboo forest. We estimated forest biomass C stocks for each inventory period by using continuous biomass expansion factor (BEF) method for forest stands, and the mean biomass density method for economic and bamboo forests. As a result, China's forests have accumulated biomass C (i.e., biomass C sink) of 1896 Tg (1Tg=1012g) during the study period, with 1710, 108 and 78 Tg C in forest stands, and economic and bamboo forests, respectively. Annual forest biomass C sink was 70.2 Tg Ca-1 , offsetting 7.8% of the contemporary fossil CO2 emissions in the country. The results also showed that planted forests have functioned as a persistent C sink, sequestrating 818 Tg C and accounting for 47.8% of total C sink in forest stands, and that the old-, mid- and young-aged forests have sequestrated 930, 391 and 388 Tg C from 1977 to 2008. Our results suggest that China's forests have a big potential as biomass C sink in the future because of its large area of planted forests with young-aged growth and low C density.

在气候变化与人类活动影响下,全球草地受到持续退化的严重威胁,如何有效地恢复退化草地是新时代草学面临的重大科学与技术挑战。基于Web of Science核心数据库和CNKI数据库,本文使用潜在狄利克雷分布(Latent Dirichlet Allocation,LDA)主题模型对1930—2022年的文献进行计量分析,研究全球及中国草地退化与修复研究态势。结果显示,草地退化与修复的研究主题呈现出多元化特征,近几十年来具有明显的主题转换趋势,前沿主题逐渐由单一的生产性研究向以生态环境为导向的研究方向发展。土地利用与遥感、气候变化、生物多样性、高寒草地土壤因子和种子库与群落演替等已成为当前国内外普遍关注的前沿研究主题。全面完善资助策略、推进学科交叉和合作交流,以促进草地退化与修复前沿主题研究,有效解决新时代社会和环境挑战。

Aims To explore the pattern of the leaf functional traits of shrub species along a latitudinal gradient in eastern China and determine the driv-ing factors of leaf trait variation at a large *** We investigated the leaf thickness(LT),leaf area(LA),specific leaf area(SLA)and leaf dry mass content(LDMC)of 185 shrub species from 13 sites across eastern *** trends of these four-leaf traits were ana-lyzed with respect to latitude,and the differences between different life forms(e.g.,evergreen and deciduous)and habitats(e.g.,understory and typical)were *** quantified the effects of the plant life forms and environmental factors on the leaf traits via mixed-model *** Findings The LT and LA decreased,whilst and the LDMC increased,as the latitude increased,and significant differences in these traits were observed between the different plant life *** LT and LA were smaller,whereas the SLA and LDMC were larger in decidu-ous shrubs than in evergreen *** the different habitats,the LA and SLA were larger,while the LDMC was smaller in under-story shrubs than in typical shrub *** results indicate that typical shrub species are better adapted to drier environments,as indicated by a reduced LT and increased ***,general linear models showed that variations in the four-leaf traits with respect to latitude were mainly caused by a shift in plant life forms.
