Enhancement of weathered crust elution-deposited rare earth ores leaching process with PQ-10 addition

To solve the problems of the long development period,low mass transfer efficiency and high impurity conte nt in the in-situ leaching process of weathe red crust elution-deposited rare earth ores(WCE-DREO),cationic hydroxyethyl cellulose(PQ-10)was composited with conventional leaching agent ammonium sulfate((NH_(4))_(2)SO_(4))to form a novel composite leaching *** effects of PQ-10 concentration,leaching temperature and leaching flow rate of the composite leaching agent on the leaching kinetics and mass transfer processes of rare earth(RE)and aluminum(Al)were *** to the single leaching agent(NH_(4))_(2)SO_(4),the composite leaching agent(2 wt%(NH_(4))_(2)SO_(4)+0.02 wt%PQ-10)can reduce the RE leaching equilibrium time from 465 to 130 min and increase the RE leaching efficiency and decrease the Al leaching *** also facilitates the leaching process of WCE-DREO by increasing the peak concentrations of RE and Al,reducing the theoretical tower plate height(HETP)and improving the leaching mass transfer *** is indicated that PQ-10 can promote the leaching of *** leaching process of the composite leaching system conforms to the diffusion kinetic control *** the PQ-10 concentration is in the range of 0.005 wt%-0.020 wt%,the reaction orders of RE and Al are 0.73 and 0.54,respectively,which shows a positive effect on the leaching velocity;when the PQ-10 concentration is in the range of 0.030 wt%-0.060 wt%,the reaction orders of RE and Al are-1.16 and-0.75,respectively,which show a negative effect on the leaching *** the range of 10-50℃,the apparent activation energies of RE and Al are 15.02 and 17.31 kJ/mol,respectively,and the higher the leaching temperature,the smaller the HETP and the higher the leaching velocity and mass transfer *** increase in leaching flow rate contributes to the increase in the longitudinal diffusion velocity of the leaching agent within WCE-DREO,causing a shorter time for RE

Unraveling the link between lipid oxidation and off-flavor development in grass carp fillets(Ctenopharyngodon idellus) during cold storage: A non-targeted lipidomics approach

Grass carp fillets were susceptible to unpleasant fishiness during cold storage. To clarify the mechanism of fishy odor formation and achieve targeted regulation， volatile compounds， and lipid oxidation were investigated in grass carp fillets during cold storage （0-7d）. The lipid oxidation degree increased continually during cold storage， as evidenced by the change of AV， POV， TBARS， and HP. The activities of related enzymes (LOX， LPS， PLA[2]， and HPL) maintained a high level， reaching their maximums after 3-5 days. Free fatty acids exhibited a great downtrend， especially linoleic acid （18:2） and arachidonic acid （20:4）. Forty-five volatile compounds were identified by solvent-assisted flavor evaporation-gas chromatography-mass spectrometer， and the total contents of volatile compounds increased from 706.55 μg/kg （0d） to 1370.65 μg/kg （7d）. （Z）-4-heptenal，（E，E）-2，4-hexadienal， 1-penten-3-ol， nonanal， and （E）-2-heptenal were the key volatile compounds. The Pearson correlation showed a strong correlation between 47 differentially abundant lipids （variables important in projection > 1， P value 2） and volatile compounds. During cold storage， lyso-phosphatidylcholine （20:4） and lyso-phosphatidylcholine （18:2） were selected as the main precursors of volatile compounds’ formation in grass carp fillets.

The Influence of Third-party E-Commerce Platform Price Limits on the Dual-Channel Strategy of Manufacturers

Powerful platform operators always set price limits for sellers on the platform. This paper establishes Stackelberg game models according to two pricing models when the manufacturer enters the third-party e-commerce platform and sells products online. The first is a seller-pricing model in which the manufacturer decides the online price. The second is a platform-pricing model in which the platform decides the online price. We obtain the equilibrium results for these two models and the condition that allows the manufacturer to adopt the dual-channel strategy by comparing the operation decisions and performance of supply-chain members in the two models. Results show that the dual-channel strategy of the manufacturer always decreases the profit of the traditional retailer. In comparison with the sellerpricing model, the platform-pricing model always erodes parts of the manufacturers profit obtained by the dual-channel strategy. The manufacturer will pass on the partial loss to the retailer using relative leadership in the platform-pricing model, which renders the profit of the retailer lower than that in the seller-pricing model. Also, price limits do not always bring the platform more profits;sometimes the platform is forced to set a low price.

Insight into synergistic antioxidation mechanisms of butyl hydroxyanisole with common synthetic antioxidants

Butyl hydroxyanisole(BHA) is usually blended with other synthetic antioxidants to improve the antioxidative property due to synergistic antioxidation. However, the synergistic antioxidation mechanisms of BHA with synergists have not been revealed yet. Thus, the antioxidation of BHA with butylated hydroxytoluene(BHT), tert-butylhydroquinone(TBHQ), or propyl gallate(PG) was investigated in the 2,2-azobis(2-amidino-propane) dihydrochloride oxidizing system. The contents of BHA, BHT, TBHQ,PG, and transformation products were measured by high-performance liquid chromatography. Transformation products were identified with liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry and gas chromatography–mass spectrometry. Results showed that synergistic antioxidation occurred between BHA and BHT, TBHQ, or PG. The synergistic antioxidation effect of BHA and BHT was attributed to the regeneration of BHA by BHT. Transformation products of BHA and BHT(compounds 6 and 7, dimers of BHA and BHT) had little contribution due to the relatively low content(<0.6%). The synergistic antioxidation effect of BHA and TBHQ or BHA and PG was attributed to the protective mechanism of TBHQ or PG on BHA. No transformation products were detected of BHA and TBHQ. Transformation products of BHA and PG(compounds 9 and 10, dimers of BHA and PG) had limited contribution due to the relatively low percentage(<7%). Therefore, BHA and BHT performed competitive antioxidation,while BHA and TBHQ or PG performed protective antioxidation.

Three-dimensionally ordered macroporous polystyrene(3DOM PS) with pore size of 350 nm was fabricated using Cp2Co/Ethyl 2-bromoisobutyrate(EBiB) catalytic system by *** resulting polymers were detected by FT-IR,1H-NMR,SEM,and *** microstructure of 3DOM PS was confirmed by FT-IR and *** micrographs show that both silica spheres within the templates and pores in the 3DOM polystyrene are arranged in highly ordered fashion,and the shrinkage of the pores in the 3DOM PS is 24%.GPC curves show that the 3DOM PS possesses slightly lower Mn and narrow MWD compared with bulk *** result indicats that living polymerization is different from non-living polymerizationin in the confined space.

Leaching kinetics and permeability of polyethyleneimine added ammonium sulfate on weathered crust elution-deposited rare earth ores

At present,in-situ leaching of weathered crust elution-deposited rare earth ores(WCE-DREOs) encounter with problems such as long leaching cycles,slow infiltration rate and low product *** order to solve the above problems,the conventional leaching agent ammonium sulfate((NH_(4))_(2)SO_(4)) was compounded with polymeric surfactant polyethyleneimine(PEI) to form a composite leaching *** effects of leaching temperature,PEI *** rate and pH on leaching kinetics and permeability of rare earths(RE) and aluminum(AI) in orebody were *** is found that with temperature increasing,the time required to reach leaching equilibrium for both RE and Al is shortened,the apparent activation energies of RE and AI are 14.79 and 13.45 kJ/mol,respectively,and the leaching processes are in accordance with the outer diffusion control,When the concentrations of(NH_(4))_(2)SO_(4) and PEI in the composite leaching agent are 2.0 wt% and 0.4 wt%;the time required to reach leaching equilibrium for RE and AI is about 50% shorter than that using(NH_(4))_(2)SO_(4) alone,and the leaching efficiencies of RE are slightly higher than that of *** increasing the temperature and flow rate of the composite leaching agent can improve the leaching efficiencies of RE and Al,but pH has neglected effects on the leaching efficiencies of *** PEI concentrations below 0,4 wt%, the addition of PEI promotes the leaching of RE and *** column leaching studies of the WCE-DREO,the addition of 0.4 wt% PEI to the traditional leaching agent(NH_(4))_(2)SO_(4) has no impact on the leaching efficiencies of ***,it can significantly increase the infiltration rate of WCE-DREO,shortening the leaching time per 10 mL effluent from about 30 min for(NH_(4))_(2)SO_(4) leaching system to 20 min for the composite leaching *** leaching time is shortened by one-third,and the leaching cost is reduced,which can provide theoretical guidance for the development and commercial implementa

Influences of CeO_(2)morphology on enhanced performance of electro-Fenton for wastewater treatment

As a kind of rare-earth oxide,CeO_(2)has been considered as a great potential material for its abundant oxygen vacancies and catalysis activity in wastewater *** this study,three ceria samples with different morphological structure were prepared,and their effect on contaminates degradation in electro-Fenton(E-Fenton)system was *** is found that the morphology of CeO_(2)has great influence on promoting the performance of E-Fenton *** rod-like CeO_(2)(R-CeO_(2))induced EFenton system shows higher azo dye X3 B removal and mineralization rates than cubs(C-CeO_(2))and octahedrons(O-CeO_(2)),and the degradation kinetic rate constants are 0.28,0.169 and 0.181 min^(-1)respectively,already surpass that of the blank one(0.120 min^(-1)).The H_(2)O_(2)generation capacity of R-CeO_(2)induced E-Fenton system is also superior to the others,and the corresponding Faraday current efficiency even increases to 166.2%at 2.5 *** by scanning-transmission electron microscopy(STEM),X-ray diffraction(XRD),X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS),electron spin resonance(ESR),Raman spectroscopy were conducted to disclose the mystery behind this *** results indicate that the difference of surface oxygen vacancy density in different shaped CeO_(2)acts as a magic driving force for the accelerated oxygen reduction,and then leads to the enhanced degradation efficiency of E-Fenton *** work provides a new insight into the development and application of rare-earth elements based catalyst in E-Fenton technology.

Kinetics Study on the Thermal Decomposition of Europium p-methyl-benzoate Complex with 1,10-penanthroline under Non-isothermal Con-ditions

The thermal decomposition reaction of Eu-2(p-MBA)(6)(PHEN)(2) (p-MBA=CH3C6H4COO, methylbenzoate; PHEN=C12H8N2, 1,10-phenanthroline) was studied in a static atmosphere using TG-DTG method. The thermal decomposition process of the complex was determined and its kinetics was investigated. Kinetic parameters were obtained from the analysis of TG-DTG curves by means of the Achar method and the Madhusudanan-Krishnan-Ninan (MKN) method. The most probable mechanism functions of the thermal decomposition reaction for the first stage are: f(alpha) =(1-alpha)(2), g(alpha) = (1-alpha)(-1)-1. The activation energy for the first stage is 255.18 kJ/mol, the entropy of activation DeltaS is 227.32 J/mol and the Gibbs free energy of activation DeltaG is 128.04 W/mol.

Study on the decolorization of dyes by microorganisms

Thirteen strains of bacteria with ability of dye decolonization were isolated from activated sludge and biofilm collected from textile wastewater treatment plants, and identified as Alteromonas, Klebsiella, Pseudomonas, Enterobacter. Alcali-genes and Corynobacterium. These strains D33, D32, D4 of Alteromonas can decolorize 29 kinds of dyes with good decolorizing activities of about 2.6 mg dye/gram wet cells.h-1. The optimum pH was 7-8 and the temperature was 37℃. The growth of bacteria was 3 times better in shaking cultures than in static cultures. But the decolorization rate of dyes was 4-9 times more in the latter than in the former. The results from the examination of the reaction products of Diamond Chrome Red B and Diamond Narry Blue RRN indicated the possibility of biodegradation of these dyes by Enterobacter D17.
