Nine homobinuclear lanthanide complexes with macrocyclic Schiff base were prepared by condensing 2, 6-diacetylpyridine and 1, 3-diamino-2-hydroxypropane in the presence of template lanthanide metal ions. These complexes were characterized by elemental analysis, IR, molar conductance and magnetic susceptibility. The variable-temperature magnetic susceptibility (4-300 K) of complexes of Gd( Ⅲ ) and Dy( Ⅲ ) was determined. A satisfactory fit to theoretical curve derived from spin Hamiltonian operator was obtained using least-squares method. The exchange interaction parameters are J=-0.26 cm-1, g=1.98 and △=0.06 cm-1, Z.J'=-0. 21 cm-1,g'=1.33 for Gd( Ⅲ ) and Dy( Ⅲ ), respectively. The results indicate a very week antiferromagnetic interaction between Gd( Ⅲ )-Gd( Ⅲ ) and Dy( Ⅲ )-Dy( Ⅲ ) ions.

Sanjiao acupuncture and HuangDiSan can promote the proliferation, migration and differentiation of exogenous neural stem cells in senescence-accelerated mouse prone 8 （SAMP8） mice and can improve learning and memory impairment and behavioral function in dementia-model mice. Thus, we sought to determine whether Sanjiao acupuncture and HuangDiSan can elevate the effect of neural stem cell transplantation in Alzheimer’s disease model mice. Sanjiao acupuncture was used to stimulate Danzhong （CV17）, Zhongwan （CV12）,Qihai （CV6）, bilateral Xuehai （SP10） and bilateral Zusanli （ST36） 15 days before and after implantation of neural stem cells （5 × 10^5） into the hippocampal dentate gyrus of SAMP8 mice. Simultaneously, 0.2 mL HuangDiSan, containing Rehmannia Root and Chinese Angelica,was intragastrically administered. Our results demonstrated that compared with mice undergoing neural stem cell transplantation alone,learning ability was significantly improved and synaptophysin mRNA and protein levels were greatly increased in the hippocampus of mice undergoing both Sanjiao acupuncture and intragastric administration of HuangDiSan. We conclude that the combination of Sanjiao acupuncture and HuangDiSan can effectively improve dementia symptoms in mice, and the mechanism of this action might be related to the regulation of synaptophysin expression.

BACKGROUND Synaptophysin plays a key role in synaptic development and plasticity of neurons and is closely related to the cognitive process of Alzheimer’s disease(AD)*** neural stem cells(NSCs)improve the damaged nerve *** effects of Sanjiao acupuncture on cognitive impairment may be related to the regulation of the NSC *** To explore the anti-dementia mechanism of acupuncture by regulating the NSC *** NSCs were isolated from pregnant senescence-accelerated mouse resistant 1(SAMR1)mice,labeled with BrdU,and injected into the hippocampus of senescence-accelerated mouse prone 8(SAMP8)***-month-old senescence-accelerated mice(SAM)were randomly divided into six groups:SAMR1(RC),SAMP8(PC),sham transplantation(PS),NSC transplantation(PT),NSC transplantation with acupuncture(PTA),and NSC transplantation with nonacupoint acupuncture(PTN).Morris water maze test was used to study the learning and memory ability of mice after NSC ***-eosin staining and immunofluorescence were used to observe the histopathological changes and NSC proliferation in mice.A co-culture model of hippocampal slices and NSCs was established in vitro,and the synaptophysin expression in the hippocampal microenvironment of mice was observed by flow cytometry after acupuncture *** Morris water maze test showed significant cognitive impairment of learning and memory in 8-mo-old SAMP8,which improved in all the NSC transplantation *** behavioral change in the PTA group was stronger than those in the other two groups(P<0.05).Histopathologically,the hippocampal structure was clear,the cell arrangement was dense and orderly,and the necrosis of cells in CA1 and CA3 areas was significantly reduced in the PTA group when compared with the PC *** BrdU-positive proliferating cells were found in NSC hippocampal transplantation groups,and the number increased significantly in the PTA group than in the

Wing dimorphism is regarded as an important phenotypic plasticity involved in the migration and reproduction of ***,the signal transduction and regulatory mechanism of wing dimorphism in aphids are still ***,the optimal environmental conditions were first explored for inducing winged offspring of green peach aphid,and the short photoperiod was the most important environmental cue to regulate wing *** to 16 L:8 D photoperiod,the proportion of winged offspring increased to 90%under 8 L:16 D ***,5 differentially expressed microRNAs(miRNAs)in aphids treated with long and short photoperiods were identified using small RNA sequencing,and a novel miR-3040 was identified as a vital miRNA involved in photoperiod-mediated wing *** specifically,the inhibition of miR-3040 expression could reduce the proportion of winged offspring induced by short photoperiod,whereas its activation increased the proportion of winged offspring under long ***,the expression level of miR-3040 in winged aphids was about 2.5 times that of wingless aphids,and the activation or inhibition of miR-3040 expression could cause wing deformity,revealing the dual-role regulator of miR-3040 in wing dimorphism and wing *** summary,the current study identified the key environmental cue for wing dimorphism in green peach aphid,and the first to demonstrate the dual-role regulator of miR-3040 in photoperiod-mediated wing dimorphism and wing development.

IM To study the relationship between trace element Mo and gastric cancer.MATERIALS AND METHODS Soil samples were collected according to its type in different areas of Jiangxi Province; available molybdenum content in soil was measured by catalytic polarography and rank correlation method was used to analyse correlation between the mean of soil available molybdenum and mortality rate of gastric cancer in each county and city in Jiangxi Province. Gastric cancer cases were selected from the authors′ hospital, occiput hair was collected to measure its molybdenum content with an atomic absorption spectrograph and controls were selected from the same hospital for comparison. Gastric cancer cases were selected from three hospitals at the same time, blood samples were taken on an empty stomach and serum molybdenum contents were measured with the atomic absorption spectrograph, and controls were selected from the same hospitals. Blind method was used in the whole course (chemical analysts did not know the source and nature of samples).RESULTS A negative correlation existed between soil available molybdenum content and mortality rate of gastric cancer (r=-0285, P<005); hair molybdenum contents of gastric cancer cases were lower than those of healthy controls (0308μg/g±0673μg/g and 0707μg/g±0561μg/g respectively, P<001); serum molybdenum contents of patients were also lower than those of healthy controls (2184μg/L±749μg/L and 2538μg/L±858μg/L respectively, P<005).CONCLUSION Deficiency of molybdenum may be one of the risk factors in gastric cancer.

Morphological alterations in dendritic spines have been linked to changes in functional communication between neurons that affect learning and ***-4 KIF21A helps organize the microtubule-actin network at the cell cortex by interacting with KANK1;however,whether KIF21A modulates dendritic structure and function in neurons remains *** this study,we found that KIF21A was distributed in a subset of dendritic spines,and that these KIF21A-positive spines were larger and more structurally plastic than KIF21A-negative ***,the interaction between KIF21A and KANK1 was found to be critical for dendritic spine morphogenesis and synaptic *** of either KIF21A or KANK1 inhibited dendritic spine morphogenesis and dendritic branching,and these deficits were fully rescued by coexpressing full-length KIF21A or KANK1,but not by proteins with mutations disrupting direct binding between KIF21A and KANK1 or binding between KANK1 and *** down KIF21A in the hippocampus of rats inhibited the amplitudes of long-term potentiation induced by high-frequency stimulation and negatively impacted the animals’cognitive *** together,our findings demonstrate the function of KIF21A in modulating spine morphology and provide insight into its role in synaptic function.

采用格子玻尔兹曼方法对NaCl@Al2O3介孔复合材料内的声子热输运进行了模拟分析.基于德拜物理模型,提出了温度耦合的复合材料界面处理方法,有效实现了复合材料声子输运的格子玻尔兹曼模拟,获得了不同孔径、孔隙率、孔形状、孔排列、界面条件系数下介孔复合材料的热导率,并进行影响因素分析.结果表明:该介孔复合材料热导率,在孔隙率一定时,随着孔径增大而增大,呈现显著的尺度效应;在孔径一定时,热导率随孔隙率增大而减小;孔径和孔隙率一定时,热导率随界面条件系数的增大而减小;孔形状和孔排列均会影响介孔复合材料的热导率,且这种影响会随着界面条件系数的增大而增大.

Fertilization or atmospheric deposition of nitrogen (N) and phosphorus (P) to terrestrial ecosystems can alter soil N (P) availability and the nature of nutrient limitation for plant growth. Changing the allocation of leaf P fractions is potentially an adaptive strategy for plants to cope with soil N (P) availability and nutrient-limiting conditions. However, the impact of the interactions between imbalanced anthropogenic N and P inputs on the concentrations and allocation proportions of leaf P fractions in forest woody plants remains elusive. We conducted a meta- analysis of data about the concentrations and allocation proportions of leaf P fractions, specifically associated with individual and combined additions of N and P in evergreen forests, the dominant vegetation type in southern China where the primary productivity is usually considered limited by P. This assessment allowed us to quantitatively evaluate the effects of N and P additions alone and interactively on leaf P allocation and use strategies. Nitrogen addition (exacerbating P limitation) reduced the concentrations of leaf total P and different leaf P fractions. Nitrogen addition reduced the allocation to leaf metabolic P but increased the allocation to other fractions, while P addition showed opposite trends. The simultaneous additions of N and P showed an antagonistic (mutual suppression) effect on the concentrations of leaf P fractions, but an additive (summary) effect on the allocation proportions of leaf P fractions. These results highlight the importance of strategies of leaf P fraction allocation in forest plants under changes in environmental nutrient availability. Importantly, our study identified critical interactions associated with combined N and P inputs that affect leaf P fractions, thus aiding in predicting plant acclimation strategies in the context of intensifying and imbalanced anthropogenic nutrient inputs.

β-ray-induced X-ray spectroscopy(BIXS)is a promising method for tritium detection in solid materials because of its unique advantages,such as large detection depth,nondestructive testing capabilities,and low requirements for sample ***,high-accuracy reconstruction of the tritium depth profile remains a significant challenge for this *** this study,a novel reconstruction method based on a backpropagation(BP)neural network algorithm that demonstrates high accuracy,broad applicability,and robust noise resistance is *** average reconstruction error calculated using the BP network(8.0%)was much lower than that obtained using traditional numerical methods(26.5%).In addition,the BP method can accurately reconstruct BIX spectra of samples with an unknown range of tritium and exhibits wide applicability to spectra with various tritium ***,the BP network demonstrates superior accuracy and stability compared to numerical methods when reconstructing the spectra,with a relative uncertainty ranging from 0 to 10%.This study highlights the advantages of BP networks in accurately reconstructing the tritium depth profile from BIXS and promotes their further application in tritium detection.
