Species of the spider family Leptonetidae Simon,1890 from China are revised based on molecular and morphological data analyses.A new genus,Jingneta Wang&Li gen.nov.,is erected,with Leptoneta cornea Tong&Li,2008 as the type species.Twenty-two Chinese species previously assigned to the genus Leptoneta Simon,1872 are revised,with eight transferred to Falcileptoneta Komatsu,1970,seven transferred to Jingneta gen.nov.,five transferred to Leptonetela Kratochvil,1978,and one species each transferred to Longileptoneta Seo,2015 and Masirana Kishida,1942.Eight new species are described:i.e.,Falcileptoneta shuanglong Wang&Li sp.nov.(♂),Jingneta caoxian Wang&Li sp.nov.(♂♀),J.jingdong Wang&Li sp.nov.(♂♀),Longileptoneta gutan Wang&Li sp.nov.(♂♀),L.huangshan Wang&Li sp.nov.(♂♀),L.shenxian Wang&Li sp.nov.(♂♀),L.yeren Wang&Li sp.nov.(♂),and L.zhuxian Wang&Li sp.nov.(♂♀).In total,127 leptonetid species from six genera are documented from China:nine species of Falcileptoneta,nine species of Jingneta gen.nov.,101 species of Leptonetela,six species of Longileptoneta,one species of Masirana,and one species of Rhyssoleptoneta Tong&Li,2007.

Tomographic synthetic aperture radar(TomoSAR)imaging exploits the antenna array measurements taken at different elevation aperture to recover the reflectivity function along the elevation direction.In these years,for the sparse elevation distribution,compressive sensing(CS)is a developed favorable technique for the high-resolution elevation reconstruction in TomoSAR by solving an L_(1) regularization problem.However,because the elevation distribution in the forested area is nonsparse,if we want to use CS in the recovery,some basis,such as wavelet,should be exploited in the sparse L_(1/2) representation of the elevation reflectivity function.This paper presents a novel wavelet-based L_(2) regularization CS-TomoSAR imaging method of the forested area.In the proposed method,we first construct a wavelet basis,which can sparsely represent the elevation reflectivity function of the forested area,and then reconstruct the elevation distribution by using the L_(1/2) regularization technique.Compared to the wavelet-based L_(1) regularization TomoSAR imaging,the proposed method can improve the elevation recovered quality efficiently.

Aiming at the Four-Dimensional Variation source term inversion algorithm proposed earlier,the observation error regularization factor is introduced to improve the prediction accuracy of the diffusion model,and an improved Four-Dimensional Variation source term inversion algorithm with observation error regularization(OER-4DVAR STI model)is formed.Firstly,by constructing the inversion process and basic model of OER-4DVAR STI model,its basic principle and logical structure are studied.Secondly,the observation error regularization factor estimation method based on Bayesian optimization is proposed,and the error factor is separated and optimized by two parameters:error statistical time and deviation degree.Finally,the scientific,feasible and advanced nature of the OER-4DVAR STI model are verified by numerical simulation and tracer test data.The experimental results show that OER-4DVAR STI model can better reverse calculate the hazard source term information under the conditions of high atmospheric stability and flat underlying surface.Compared with the previous inversion algorithm,the source intensity estimation accuracy of OER-4DVAR STI model is improved by about 46.97%,and the source location estimation accuracy is improved by about 26.72%.

Objective:Colorectal cancer(CRC)is one of the most lethal and prevalent malignancies world-wide.Currently,surgery,radiotherapy and chemotherapy are clinically applied as common approaches for CRC patients.Cisplatin is one of the most frequently used chemotherapy drugs for diverse cancers.Although chemotherapeutic strategies have improved the prognosis and survival of cancer patients,development of cisplatin resistance has led to cancer recurrence.Curcumin,isolated from turmeric,has been used as an effective anti-cancer agent.However,the molecular mechanisms for curcumin-mediated cisplatin sensitivity of CRC have not been elucidated.

With diverse atmospheric circulation and complex mechanisms,typhoon remote rainstorms(TRR)are closely related to a variety of mid-low latitude systems.The anomalous signatures in such processes can improve forecasting heavy rainfall associated with typhoons and fill the gaps in current physical conceptual models of TRR.Using the optimal typhoon path dataset,ground observation data,and the National Centres for Environmental Prediction(NCEP)reanalysis dataset,the impact of anomalous water vapour transport on excessive rainfall in North China is investigated.The vector empirical orthogonal function(VEOF)analysis is applied to typhoon precipitation events from 1970 to 2021,and three major modes are extracted to reflect the anomalous water vapour transport for typhoon precipitation.Mode 1 reflects a moisture circulation pattern in North China due to the coexistence of typhoons and remote and direct precipitation,with the highest probability of heavy precipitation.The differences in remote precipitation areas and intensities are attributed to the location of typhoons in the western North Pacific and the shifting of the subtropical high ridge.To characterise the water vapour transport circulation of TRR in North China,we proposed the‘multivortex’idea.The transmission of the multi-vortex ensures a continuous supply of TRR water vapour,and the enhancement of the multi-vortex is significantly linked to the enhancement of remote precipitation.Three extreme northern rainstorms,75·8 Henan,7·21 Beijing,and 7·20 Zhengzhou rainstorms,have anomalous multi-vortex water vapour convergence,similar to Mode 1.The mechanism of water vapour driven by multi-vortex in the three severe rainstorm events is more extreme than in usual TRR events in North China.The stronger Indian low vortex and relatively southerly subtropical highs can intensify the southwest branch of the double water vapour transport branch,whereas the strengthening of typhoons in the western North Pacific facilitates water vapour transport through the channel on the sou

The development of amyotrophic lateral sclerosis(ALS)may be related to the abnormal alterations of multiple proteins.Our previous study revealed that the expression of phosphoinositide-3-kinase regulatory subunit 4(PIK3R4)was decreased in ALS.However,the role of PIK3R4 in ALS pathogenesis remains unknown.This study was the first to find that transfection of PC12 cells with small interfering RNA against the PIK3R4 gene significantly decreased the expression levels of PIK3R4 and the autophagy-related proteins p62 and LC3.Additionally,in vivo experiments revealed that the PIK3R4 protein was extensively expressed in the anterior horn,posterior horn,central canal,and areas surrounding the central canal in cervical,thoracic,and lumbar segments of the spinal cord in adult mice.PIK3R4 protein was mainly expressed in the neurons within the spinal lumbar segments.PIK3R4 and p62 expression levels were significantly decreased at both the pre-onset and onset stages of ALS disease in Tg(SOD1*G93A)1 Gur mice compared with control mice,but these proteins were markedly increased at the progression stage.LC3 protein expression did not change during progression of ALS.These findings suggest that PIK3R4 likely participates in the prevention of ALS progression.This study was approved by the Ethics Committee for Animal Care and Use of Jiangxi Provincial People’s Hospital,Affiliated People’s Hospital of Nanchang University(approval No.2020025)on March 26,2020.

In the eukaryotic cell nucleus, chromatin and its associated macromolecules must be organized into a higher-ordered conformation to function normally. However, mechanisms underlying the organization and dynamics of the nucleus remain unclear. Long noncoding RNAs(lnc RNAs), i.e., transcripts longer than 200 nucleotides with little or no protein-coding capacity, are increasingly recognized as important regulators in diverse biological processes. Recent studies have shown that some lnc RNAs are involved in various aspects of genome organization, including the facilitation of chromosomal interactions and establishment of nuclear bodies, suggesting that lnc RNAs act as general organizers of the nuclear architecture. Here, we discuss recent advances in this emerging and intriguing field.

African swine fever(ASF)is originally reported in East Africa as an acute hemorrhagic fever.African swine fever virus(ASFV)is a giant and complex DNA virus with icosahedral structure and encodes a variety of virulence factors to resist host innate immune response.S273R protein(pS273R),as a SUMO-1 specific cysteine protease,can affect viral packaging by cutting polymeric proteins.In this study,we found that pS273R was an important antagonistic viral factor that suppressed cGAS-STING-mediated type I interferon(IFN-I)production.A detailed analysis showed that pS273R inhibited IFN-I production by interacting with interferon regulatory factor 3(IRF3).Subsequently,we showed that pS273R disrupted the association between TBK1 and IRF3,leading to the repressed IRF3 phosphorylation and dimerization.Deletion and point mutation analysis verified that pS273R impaired IFN-I production independent of its cysteine protease activity.These findings will help us further understand ASFV pathogenesis.

Endometriosis(EM)is a benign gynecological disease that affects the fertility and health of women of reproductive age;it is characterized by the presence of endometrial glands and stroma outside the uterine cavity.Although several hypotheses have been proposed to explain the underlying cause of EM,its pathogenesis remains obscure.Recently,non-coding RNAs were reported to be involved in the occurrence and development of EM.MicroRNAs and long non-coding RNAs are the main members of the non-coding RNA family that contribute to EM progression in various aspects,such as cell proliferation,apoptosis,invasion,and angiogenesis.Angiogenesis plays a pivotal role in the initiation and development of EM and provides a substantial background for the invasion,proliferation,and long-term growth of endometriotic implants.This review aimed to investigate the role of microRNAs and long non-coding RNAs in regulating angiogenesis in EM and discuss how this mechanism can be used for diagnostic and therapeutic purposes in EM.
