Substrates or encapsulants in soft and stretchable formats are key components for transient,bioresorbable electronic systems;however,elastomeric polymers with desired mechanical and biochemical properties are very limited compared to nontransient ***,we introduce a bioresorbable elastomer,poly(glycolide-co-ε-caprolactone)(PGCL),that contains excellent material properties including high elongation-at-break(<1300%),resilience and toughness,and tunable dissolution *** of PGCLs as polymer matrices,in combination with conducing polymers,yields stretchable,conductive composites for degradable interconnects,sensors,and actuators,which can reliably function under external *** of device components with wireless modules demonstrates elastic,transient electronic suture system with on-demand drug delivery for rapid recovery of postsurgical wounds in soft,time-dynamic tissues.

Newcastle Disease in Chickens of Smallholder Farmers at Krang Yov Commune S’ang District,Kandal Province

The study was conducted in Krang Yov commune,S’ang district,Kandal province and was conducted in three villages,including Kampong Po,Andong and Svay Damnak *** the total,88 families were selected for interview by using snowball technic of nonprobability *** to the results of the interviews,it showed that the number of farmers who raised chickens and had participated in training was very low number,ranging from 10.71%to 34.38%.For chicken raising system,the free ranging was the most popular by allowing the chicken to scavenge around the village,however,the total confinement was also *** local breed was more popular and the purpose of raising was for selling meat,however there were few households that raised the fighting cock for *** number of chickens owned per household,was mostly less than 20 birds,while,the average number of birds per household ranged from 16.82 birds to 37.66 ***,the average number of birds per household was significant different between the households who have participated in chicken raising training and those who never participated(p<0.05),accounting for 47.52 birds and 19.85 birds,*** the chicken feed,most of the farmers in those three villages used the concentration feed to offer the chicken,especially for supplementation,but,the whole rice was also used to supplement *** vaccination for chicken was significant different among the villages(p<0.05),in which the household in Kampong Po village had highest percentage of vaccinating their chicken,40.63%,than those in Svay Damnak and Andong *** Newcastle vaccination was the more popular in those ***,all of the households have experienced with the disease,especially ND(Newcastle Disease)accounting for 67.05%,followed by influenza and fowl *** chicken got sick,most of farmers had treated their chicken with different methods,especially buying the medicine from the store and treatment by themselves were mostly applicabl

Outcomes of a non-randomised audit of single pigtail suture stents in urolithiasis management of Asian patients in Singapore

Objective:Double-J(DJ)ureteric stents are commonly placed perioperatively for semirigid or flexible ureteroscopic renal *** is believed that lesser stent material within the bladder mitigates stent-related *** study aimed to evaluate the J-Fil ureteral stent,a single pigtail suture stent compared with conventional DJ stent in relation to stent symptoms in an Asian population undergoing ureterorenal ***:Based on internal audit committee recommendation approval,the records of 50 patients retrieved,available data of 41 patients who were prospectively enrolled into two groups(Group 1[J-Fil stent group],n=21 and Group 2[DJ stent group],n=20)between August 2020 to January 2021,were *** compared were nature of procedure,stone location and size,ease of deployment or removal,and complications.A modified universal stent symptom questionnaire was used to assess morbidity of stent symptoms within 48 h of insertion and at ***:Both groups had similar median age,distribution in male to female ratio,and stone *** overall median universal stent symptom questionnaire score at insertion was similar for bladder pain,flank or loin pain,and quality of life between Group 1 and 2;however,at removal Group 1 fared significantly better than Group 2,especially for flank or loin pain and pain at *** groups had similar ease in insertion with no hospital ***:Our audit favoured the single pigtail suture stent in Asian ureters in mitigating stent-related *** showed a good safety profile with easy deployment and *** promises a new standard in stenting.

聚酯工业的进步离不开先进的催化技术。本文对聚酯合成催化体系的研究进展进行了评述。着眼于目前占主导的金属催化剂,对锑、钛、锡、锗、铝等催化剂在活性、副反应等方面所开展的金属复合、配体改性、载体负载等工作进行了总结,介绍了有机物、离子液体、酶等非金属催化体系的研究进展,并对促进聚酯合成的电、光、微波等催化辅助技术进行了评述。催化能力强、副反应少、聚合条件温和催化体系的开发有助于聚酯品质的提升,将先进的表征手段、模型研究以及聚酯构效关系规律探索结合到催化体系的研究中,可加速高效聚酯催化技术的研发。

Monkeypox has a very prominent regional *** has been confined to Western and Central African *** cases found in countries outside Africa generally have a history of sojourn in endemic ***,the recent multinational outbreak of monkeypox cases in Europe in early May 2022 has revealed a changing epidemiological trend,those confirmed cases had no sojourn history in endemic areas and with a high proportion of cases involving men who have sex with men(MSM).Among the MSM cases,many of them presented atypical clinical manifestations of monkeypox and with other sexually transmitted diseases *** with the high social interactivity in this community,there is likely a higher risk of monkeypox transmission in this *** an infectious disease surveillance system,maintaining highly vigilant regarding the transmission of monkeypox in MSM,and responding promptly are necessary and effective measures to contain the outbreak.

Evaluation of Functional and Radiological Outcome of Arthroscopic-Assisted Anatomical Coracoclavicular (CC) and Acromioclavicular (AC) Ligament Reconstruction in Chronic AC Joint Dislocation

Introduction: Acromioclavicular (AC) joint dislocation is a common shoulder injury, comprising 9% - 12% of shoulder girdle injuries. Optimal management remains challenging, with treatment decisions guided by the Rockwood classification system. Controversies surround grade III injuries, necessitating further classification. Non-operative treatment has shown favorable outcomes, while surgical interventions vary. Anatomical coracoclavicular reconstruction (ACCR) has demonstrated biomechanical advantages over traditional methods. Arthroscopic techniques offer advantages, minimizing deltoid detachment and allowing concurrent pathology identification. This study evaluates the outcomes of arthroscopic-assisted ACCR in chronic AC joint dislocation. Surgical Technique: Arthroscopic-assisted ACCR involves meticulous portal placement, tendon graft harvesting, diagnostic arthroscopy, and coracoid exposure. The clavicle tunnels were made to mimic the conoid and trapezoid ligament positions, using FibreTape#2 loop and Dog Bone Button for correct placement against the coracoid base, and passing the semitendinosus graft through to reconstruct the conoid ligament, reduction done and graft follow through for anatomical reconstruction. Methods: A retrospective cohort study at Hospital Kuala Lumpur analyzed 35 patients undergoing arthroscopic-assisted ACCR for Rockwood grade III - V AC joint dislocations. Inclusion criteria encompassed trauma ≥ 3 weeks prior, no prior shoulder injuries, and ≥12-month follow-up. Functional and radiological assessments utilized ASES scores and coracoclavicular distances, respectively. Statistical analysis employed descriptive statistics and logistic regression. Results: The mean age was 38.9 years (SD 11.26), and 34 of 35 patients were male. Grade IV injuries were predominant (37.1%). Waiting time for surgery averaged 234.9 days. 浒苔暴发是影响全球近岸海域最为严重的海洋灾害之一,引起了社会各方的重视。该研究基于大气-波浪-海洋集合模式,根据卫星遥感数据提取浒苔位置,采用拉格朗日漂流模式对浒苔进行追踪并预报其漂移路径。与卫星观测结果对比表明,该集合模式能够较好地预报浒苔的位置、分布及其漂移路径。此外,该研究还讨论了Stokes漂流对于模式预报的影响,结果表明考虑Stokes漂流可以修正浒苔漂移路径,有效提高预报的准确性。

Performance of pulsed plasma thruster at low discharge energy

As the size of satellites scales down, low-power and compact propulsion systems such as the pulsed plasma thruster(PPT) are needed for stabilizing these miniature satellites in orbit. Most PPT systems are operated at 2 J or more of discharge energy. In this work, the performance of a PPT with a side-fed, tongue-flared electrode configuration operated within a lower discharge energy range of 0.5-2.5 J has been investigated. Ablation and charring of the polytetrafluoroethylene propellant surface were analyzed through field-effect scanning electron microscopy imaging and energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy. When the discharge energy fell below 2 J, inconsistencies occurred in the specific impulse and the thrust efficiency due to the measurement of the low mass bit. At energy ≥2 J, the performance parameters are compared with other PPT systems of similar configuration and discussed in depth.

Accurate photovoltaic(PV)power prediction has been a subject of ongoing study in order to address grid stability concerns caused by PV output unpredictability and *** paper proposes an ultra-short-term hybrid photovoltaic power forecasting method based on a dendritic neural model(DNM)in this *** model is trained using improved biogeography-based optimization(IBBO),a technique that incorporates a domestication operation to increase the performance of classical biogeography-based optimization(BBO).To be more precise,a similar day selection(SDS)technique is presented for selecting the training set,and wavelet packet transform(WPT)is used to divide the input data into many *** is then used to train DNM weights and thresholds for each component ***,each component’s prediction results are stacked and *** suggested hybrid model is used to forecast PV power under various weather conditions using data from the Desert Knowledge Australia Solar Centre(DKASC)in Alice *** results indicate the proposed hybrid SDS and WPT-IBBO-DNM model has the lowest error of any of the benchmark models and hence has the potential to considerably enhance the accuracy of solar power forecasting(PVPF).
