Effects of comprehensive nursing with cognitive behavioral therapy in orthodontic osteodilated arch treatment

BACKGROUND This work explored the effects of cognitive behavior therapy(CBT)-based comprehensive nursing intervention(CNI)mode in arch expansion to treat patients with orthodontic osteodilated arch(OOA).AIM To explore the application effect of CBT-based CNI model in orthodontic expansion arch *** Using convenient sampling method,81 patients with OOA were selected and rolled into a control group(Ctrl group,40 cases)and an observation group(Obs group,41 cases).During the treatment,patients in the Ctrl group received routine nursing intervention mode,and the those in the Obs group received CBT mode on the basis of *** and after intervention,the incidence of oral mucositis,the mastery rate of correct arch expansion method,self-rating anxiety scale score,soft scale index,and plaque index were compared for patients in different *** addition,satisfaction and complications were comparatively *** Incidence of oral mucositis in the Obs group was lower(14.6%vs 38.5%),and the mastery rate of correct arch expansion method was obviously higher(90.2%vs 55.0%)was obviously higher(all P<0.05).Meanwhile,the soft scale index and plaque index in the Obs group were much lower(P<0.05).The compliance(90.24%)and satisfaction(95.12%)in the Obs group were greatly higher(P<0.05).CONCLUSION The CBT-based CNI mode greatly improved the mastery rate of correct arch expansion method during arch expansion in treating patients with OOA and enhanced the therapeutic effect of arch expansion and the oral health of patients,improving the patient compliance.

Based on a discussion of the requirements for the multiple acess control protocol of beyond thlrd-generation mobile systems, we in this paper articulate the needs of the new multiple acess control protocol with support of high-speed transmission and guaranteed quality of service, for voice, video and audio. In light of these, we present the design of a new multiple acess control protocol, called intelligent slot-subcarriered assignment multiple acess control protocol, to support multiple service categories and to yield high spectral efficiency. Our simulation results verify that intelligent slot-subcarriered assignment multiple acess control protocol can not only provide low delays for the real-time traffic by using bandwidth reservation and effectual scheduling, but also make full use of the limited bandwidth by using a dynamic sub-carrier assignment algorithm.

Effect of activated NH_3 on SO_2 removal by pulse corona discharge plasma in flue gas

NH 3 activated electrode is placed in front of the electrode system of pulse corona discharge plasma. There are nozzles on the electrode. Positive DC high\|voltage is applied on the nozzle\|plate gap. NH\-3 is injected into the reactor through nozzles, at the same time, activated and treated. These nozzles were proposed in order to make the additional gas pass through corona discharge regions near the tip of nozzles and increase the mount of radicals. The aim is to improve the De\|SO\-2 efficiency by pulse discharge plasma in flue gas. The following topics are investigated and discussed in the paper: De\|SO\-2 effect of single NH\-3\|activated electrode, De\|SO\-2 effect of activated NH\-3, the relationship between stoichiometric ratio of NH\-3 to SO\-2 and De\|SO\-2 effect of activated NH\-3, mechanism of activated NH\-3 De\|SO\-2 effect. The experimental result indicates that the De\|SO\-2 efficiency can be increased 5%—10% by activated NH\-3 on the original base of De\|SO\-2 efficiency.

The abused ciprofloxacin antibiotics have caused significant environmental *** oxidative degradation of ciprofloxacin exhibits promising efficacy,it often entails excessive energy ***,it is necessary to explore an effective and ecologically sustainable degradation ***,we demonstrated that g-C_(3)N_(4) decorated with the coordinated CeO_(2)and Co_(3)O_(4)(CeO_(2)-Co_(3)O_(4)/CN)exhibited effective ciprofloxacin photodegradation via in situ H_(2)O_(2) production and activation *** indicate that the introduced CeO_(2) enhances the transference of photogenerated electrons to O_(2) by adjusting the oxygen vacancy of photocatalyst,thereby increasing the generation of superoxide radicals,which in turn generate H_(2)O_(2),resulting in a 22.4-fold increase in H_(2)O_(2) generation over g-C_(3)N_(4).Moreover,the in situ H_(2)O_(2)generation facilitated by CeO_(2) is confirmed to be essential for ciprofloxacin degradation via CeO_(2)-Co_(3)O_(4)/CN,as it provides enough oxidant for Co_(3)O_(4) to activate into hydroxyl radicals for the pollutants ***,CeO_(2)-Co_(3)O_(4)/CN achieves a ciprofloxacin degradation ratio of 97.7%within 80 *** study introduces a novel approach that combines H_(2)O_(2) generation and activation,offering an innovative perspective for achieving clean and efficient purification of antibiotic-contaminated water.

Stabilization/solidification mechanisms of tin tailings and fuming slag-based geopolymers for different heavy metals

Tin mine tailings(TMT)and fuming slag(FS)contain many heavy metals(As,Cr,Cu,Zn and Mn)that cause severe pollution to the ***,geopolymers were prepared using TMT,FS and flue gas desulfurization gypsum(FGDG)to immobilize heavy metals,and their compressive strength and heavy metal leaching toxicity were *** was first determined that T4F5(TMT:FS=4:5)sample exhibited the highest compressive strength(7.83 MPa).T4F5 achieved 95%immobilization efficiency for As and Cr,and nearly 100%for Cu,Zn and Mn,showing good immobilization performance.A series of characterization analyses showed that heavy metal cations can balance the charge in the geopolymer and replace Al in the geopolymer structure to form covalent *** addition,about 2%–20%of heavy metal Fe was immobilized in hydration products,heavy metal hydroxides and non-bridging Si–O and Al–O coordination with silica-aluminate ***_(3)^(3−) was oxidized into AsO_(4)^(3−),which may form Ca–As or Fe–As ***_(2)O_(7)^(2−)was converted to CrO_(4)^(2−)under alkaline environment and then combined with OH−to form Cr(OH)3 ***^(2+)may react directly with dissolved silicate to form Mn_(2)SiO_(4) and also form Mn(OH)_(2) *** unstable Mn(OH)_(2) can be further oxidized to MnO_(2).The heavy metal cations were immobilized in the silicoaluminate lattice,while the anions tended to form insoluble *** results may benefit the industry and government for better handling of TMT,FS and solid wastes containing the abovementioned five heavy metals.

Empirical model of concrete block fragment behavior under explosion loads

Concrete structures undergo integral fragmentation under explosion loads. The fragmentation degree and particle-size distribution of concrete blocks under explosion loads must be considered during mining to ensure safety. In this study, the impulse is calculated based on the relationship between overpressure and time, and the impact energy of the explosion wave is obtained based on blast theory. Subsequently, the Mohr-Coulomb shear strength fracture criterion is introduced to determine the ultimate shear stress of the concrete materials, and an empirical model that can effectively calculate the energy consumption of concrete blocks under explosion loads is established. Furthermore, concrete fragments with different particle sizes under explosion scenarios are quantitatively predicted with the principle of energy conservation. Finally, explosion tests with different top standoff distances are conducted, and the concrete fragments after the explosion tests are recovered, sieved, weighed, and counted to obtain experimental data. The effectiveness of the fragment empirical model is verified by comparing the model calculation results with the experimental data. The proposed model can be used as a reference for civil blasting, protective engineering design, and explosion-damage assessment.
