This work reveals the significant effects of cobalt(co)on the microstructure and impact toughness of as-quenched highstrength steels by experimental characterizations and thermo-kinetic *** results show that the co-bearing steel exhibits finer blocks and a lower duc.ile-brittle transition temperature than the steel without ***,the co-bearing steel reveals higher transformation rates at the intermediate stage with bainite volume frac.ion ranging from around 0.1 to *** improved impact toughness of the co-bearing steel results from the higher dense block boundaries dominated by the V1/V2 variant ***,the addition of co induces a larger transformation driving force and a lower bainite start temperature(BS),thereby contributing to the refinement of blocks and the increase of the V1/V2 variant *** findings would be instruc.ive for the composition,microstructure design,and property optimization of high-strength steels.

Transition metal-carbonate interfaces often act as ac.ive sites in heterogeneous catalytic *** interface between transition metal and metal carbonate exhibits a dynamic equilibrium during the cO2hydrogenation reac.ion,involving surface carbonate hydrogenation and ***,there have been few reports on engineering the ac.ivity of the interface between transition metal and alkaline earth metal carbonate for catalytic *** work demonstrated that the incorporation of caH2in Ni/cacO3enhances the cO2methanation ac.ivity of the *** cO2conversion for Ni/caH2-cacO3reached 68.5%at 400°c,which was much higher than that of the Ni/cacO3（31.6%） and Ni/caH2-caO （42.4%） ***,the Ni/caH2-cacO3catalysts remained stable during the stability test for 24 h at 400°c and 8 *** research revealed that caH2played a crucial role in promoting the ac.ivity of the Ni-carbonate interface for ***2could modify the electronic structure of Ni and tune the structural properties of cacO3to generate medium basic sites （OH groups）,which are favorable for the ac.ivation of H2and ***-situ Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy （FTiR） analysis combined with density func.ional theory calculations demonstrated that cO2ac.ivation occurs at the hydroxyl group （OH） on the caH2-modified Ni-carbonate surface,leading to the formation of cO3H****,our study has confirmed that cO2methanation over the Ni/caH2-cacO3catalysts proceeds via the formate pathway.

Na3V2（PO4）2O2F （VP） is recognized as a promising cathode material for sodium-ion batteries due to its stable structural framework and high specific *** func.ional theory （DFT） and finite element simulations show that incorporating SO42-into VP decreases its band gap,lowers the migration energy barrier,and ensures a uniform Na+concentration gradient and stress distribution during charge and discharge ***,the average Na+diffusion coefficient of Na3V2（PO4）1.95（SO4）0.05O2F（VPS-1） is roughly double that of VP,leading to enhanced rate capability (80 c,75.5 mAh g-1) and cyc.ing stability (111.0 mAh g-1capacity after 1000 cycles at 10 c current density) for ***-1 exhibits outstanding fast-charging capabilities,ac.ieving an 80%state of charge in just 8.1 *** assembled VPS-1//SbSn/NPc full cell demonstrated stable cyc.ing over 200 cycles at a high 5 c current,maintaining an average coulombic efficiency of 95.35%.

Rational engineering of semiconductor photocatalysts for efficient hydrogen produc.ion is of great significance but still challenging,primarily due to the limitations in charge transfer ***,a fascinating plasmonic tandem heterojunc.ion with the hc-cdS/Mo2c@c heterostructure is aimfully prepared for effec.ively promoting the charge separation kinetics of the cdS photocatalyst via the synergistic strategy of phase junc.ion,Schottky junc.ion,and photothermal *** difference in atomic configuration between cubic-cdS （c-cdS） and hexagonal-cdS （h-cdS） leads to effec.ive charge separation through a typical Ⅱ charge transfer mechanism,and plasmonic Schottky junc.ion further extracts the electrons in the hc-cdS phase junc.ion to realize gradient charge ***,the photothermal effect of Mo2c@c helps to expand the light absorption,accelerate charge transfer kinetics,and reduce the hydrogen evolution energy *** carbon layer provides a fast channel for charge transfer and protects the photocatalyst from *** a result,the optimized hc-cMc photocatalyst exhibits a significantly high photocatalytic H2produc.ion ac.ivity of 28.63 mmol/g/h and apparent quantum efficiency of 61.8%,surpassing most of the reported *** study provides a feasible strategy to enhance the charge transfer kinetics and photocatalytic ac.ivity of cdS by construc.ing plasmonic tandem heterogeneous junc.ions.

BAcKGROUND A dual therapy regimen containing amoxicillin is a common treatment option for the eradication of Helicobacter pylori(***).While substantial research supports the efficacy and safety of vonoprazan and amoxicillin(VA)dual therapy in the general population,there is still a lack of studies specifically focusing on its safety in elderly *** To evaluate efficacy and safety of VA dual therapy as first-line or rescue treatment for *** in elderly *** As a real-world retrospec.ive study,data were collected from elderly patients aged 60 years and above who accepted VA dual therapy(vonoprazan 20 mg twice daily+amoxicillin 1000 mg thrice daily for 14 days)for *** eradication in the Department of Gastroenterology at Peking University First Hospital between June 2020 and January *** status was evaluated by^(13)c-urease breath test 6 weeks after *** adverse events(AEs)during treatment were *** in total,401 cases were ***-one cases were excluded due to loss to follow-up,lack of re-examination,or unwillingness to take *** total of 380 included cases comprised 250 who rec.ived VA dual therapy as first-line treatment and 130 who rec.ived VA dual therapy as rescue *** was successfully eradicated in 239 cases(95.6%)in the first-line treatment group and 116 cases(89.2%)in the rescue treatment *** overall incidence of AEs was 9.5%for both ***,9.2%of patients experienced an AE in the first-line treatment group and 10.0%in the rescue treatment *** patients discontinued treatment due to AE,with a discontinuation rate of 1.3%.No serious AE *** The VA dual therapy regimen as a first-line treatment and a rescue therapy was effec.ive and safe for elderly patients aged 60 and older.

Differential cryptanalysis is a general cryptanalytic tool that makes use of diFFerentials over some rounds of a cipher, combined with some key bit guesses of one or two rounds. This paper introduces a new cryptanalysis strategy of block ciphers named differential-algebraic cryptanalysis. The idea of differential-algebraic cryptanalysis is to find a differential with high probability and build the multivariable system equations for the last few rounds. The subkey values of the last few rounds can be obtained by filtering the solutions of system equations instead of guessing all possible subkey values. We use the differential-algebraic cryptanalysis to break 8-round Serpent-256. Our attack can recover the 256-bit key with 283 chosen plaintexts, 2180.4 8-round Serpent- 256 encryptions and 2176.7 bytes memory. compared with the previous differential cryptanalysis results, both the data complexity and the time complexity are reduced, but the memory requirements are increased. The time complexity and the memory requirements are very close, and a time-memory tradeoff is exploited.

The efficiency at the maximum power(EMP)for finite-time carnot engines established with the low-dissipation model,relies significantly on the assumption of the inverse proportion scaling of the irreversible entropy generationΔS^(ir)on the operation timeτ,i.e.ΔS^(ir)∝1/τ.The optimal operation time of the finite-time isothermal process for EMP has to be within the valid regime of the inverse proportion ***,such consistency was not tested due to the unknown coefficient of the 1/τ-*** this paper,we reveal that the optimization of the finite-time two-level atomic carnot engines with the low-dissipation model is consistent only in the regime ofη_(c)c.is the carnot efficiency,andδis the compression ratio in energy level difference of the heat engine *** the large-η_(c)regime,the operation time for EMP obtained with the low-dissipation model is not within the valid regime of the 1/τ-scaling,and the exact EMP of the engine is found to surpass the well-known boundη_(c)=η_(c)/(2-η_(c)).
