The leaching of chromium from stainless steel dust （SSD） is deleterious to the environment. To address this issue, the reduction of SSD briquettes can be employed to effectively extract chromium. The recovery rates of iron, chromium, and nickel via ironbath reduction of SSD briquettes were determined using X-ray fluorescence spectroscopy, X-ray diffraction, and scanning electron microscopy measurements. First, the effects of basicity and contents of silicon, iron, CaF2, and carbon on the recovery rates of the three metals were analyzed using the slag amount prediction model, which was originally established from the A1203 balance of corundum crucible erosion behavior. Second, the effect of feeding mode, i.e., whether steel scrap and SSD briquettes were simultaneously added, on the recovery rates was discussed in detail. Third, the iron-bath reduction of SSD briquettes was thermodynamically analyzed. The results indicated that the recovery rates of the three metals are greater than 95% those of using a basicity of 1.5 and 6.0% CaF2, 15% carbon, and 7% ferrosilicon. The recovery rate of chromium increases twofold with the addition of ferrosilicon. The feeding mode of adding briquettes and steel scrap simultaneously is better for recovery of metals and separation of the metal and slag than the feeding mode of adding steel scrap firstly and then briquettes.

Neutron resonance imaging(NRI)has recently emerged as an appealing technique for neutron *** complexity surpasses that of conventional transmission imaging,as it requires a high demand for both a neutron source and ***,the progression of NRI technology has been sluggish since its inception in the 1980s,particularly considering the limited studies analyzing the neutron energy range above *** white neutron source(Back-n)at the China Spallation Neutron Source(CSNS)provides favorable beam conditions for the development of the NRI technique over a wide neutron energy range from eV to ***-sensitive microchannel plates(MCP)have emerged as a cutting-edge tool in the field of neutron detection owing to their high temporal and spatial resolutions,high detection efficiency,and low *** this study,we report the development of a 10B-doped MCP detector,along with its associated electronics,data processing system,and NRI experiments at the *** heavy elements such as gold,silver,tungsten,and indium can be easily identified in the transmission images by their characteristic resonance peaks in the 1–100 eV energy range;the more difficult medium-weight elements such as iron,copper,and aluminum with resonance peaks in the 1–100 keV energy range can also be *** particular,results in the neutron energy range of dozens of keV(Aluminum)are reported here for the first time.

目的:分析肺结核患者家庭内学生密切接触者结核分枝杆菌感染状况及其影响因素。方法:以2021年1月1日至12月31日在江苏省宝应县和张家港市、湖北省宜都市、重庆市彭水苗族土家族自治县和云南省昭通市昭阳区5个县(区)登记的活动性肺结核患者家庭内学生密切接触者为研究对象,开展结核菌素皮肤试验(tuberculin skin test,TST),调查人口学特征,并通过全民健康保障信息化工程疾病预防控制信息系统收集其指示病例的基本信息和诊断信息,分析结核分枝杆菌感染的相关因素。结果:477例指示病例共有686名家庭内学生密切接触者,TST检测总体接受率为92.27%(633/686),各县(区)之间的接受率差异有统计学意义(χ^(2)=57.781,P<0.001),以宝应县为最高(100.00%,35/35)。家庭内学生密切接触者总体感染率为14.85%(94/633,95%CI:11.85%~17.85%),强阳性率为5.06%(32/633),各县(区)之间的差异均有统计学意义(χ^(2)=35.800,P<0.001;Fisher确切概率法,P=0.029)。单因素分析结果显示,≥15岁年龄组[23.47%(23/98);95%CI:13.88%~33.06%]、就读于高中及以上学校[26.09%(18/69);95%CI:14.04%~38.14%]、住在宜都市[33.33%(28/84);95%CI:20.99%~45.68%]、指示病例诊断延迟[18.37%(52/283);95%CI:13.38%~23.37%]的家庭内学生密切接触者感染率更高;多因素logistic回归分析显示,在调整混杂因素后,指示病例诊断延迟的家庭内学生密切接触者的感染风险是指示病例无诊断延迟者的1.586倍(95%CI:1.016~2.476)。结论:活动性肺结核患者家庭内学生密切接触者的结核分枝杆菌感染率较高,尤其是指示病例诊断延迟的家庭内学生密切接触者,应及时开展筛查并采取后续干预措施。

We present the interstellar scintillation analysis of fast radio burst(FRB)20220912A during its extremely active episode in 2022using data from the Five-hundred-meter Aperture Spherical Radio Telescope(FAST).We detect a scintillation arc in the FRB’s secondary spectrum,which describes the power in terms of the scattered FRB signals’time delay and Doppler *** arc indicates that the scintillation is caused by a highly localized *** analysis favors a Milky Way origin of the ionized interstellar medium(IISM)for the localized scattering medium but cannot rule out a host galaxy *** present our method for detecting the scintillation arc,which can be applied generally to sources with irregularly spaced bursts or *** methods could help shed light on the complex interstellar environment surrounding the FRBs and in our Galaxy.

针对机轮磨耗、飞机尾喷等强外部作用对机场道面表层损坏严重的问题,提出采用纤维网格布对道面混凝土表层进行强化。为设计出最优配合比,以飞机尾喷和紫外线照射作为环境作用,采用响应面法设计耐磨耗试验和抗冻试验,对纤维网布尺寸、砂率和细度模数因素对强化混凝土耐磨耗和抗冻性能的影响进行分析,以此对混凝土配合比进行优化设计。结果表明:二次或三次模型拟合效果较好,模型较为显著;纤维网格布尺寸对强化混凝土性能影响最大,其次是细度模数,最后是砂率,尺寸和砂率、细度模数交互作用影响明显。当纤维网布尺寸为3 mm×3 mm,砂细度模数为2.8,砂率为0.28~0.31时,强化混凝土的性能最佳。

A pulse current technique was conducted in a boron-doped diamond （BDD） anode system for electrochemical waste- water treatment. Due to the strong generation and weak absorption of hydroxyl radicals on the diamond surface, the BDD elec- trode possesses a powerful capability of electrochemical oxidation of organic compounds, especially in the pulse current mode. The influences of pulse current parameters such as current density, pulse duty cycle, and frequency were investigated in terms of chemical oxygen demand （COD） removal, average current efficiency, and specific energy consumption. The results demon- strated that the relatively high COD removal and low specific energy consumption were obtained simultaneously only if the current density or pulse duty cycle was adjusted to a reasonable value. Increasing the frequency slightly enhanced the COD re- moval and average current efficiency. A pulse-BDD anode system showed a stronger energy saving ability than a constant-BDD anode system when the electrochemical oxidation of phenol of the two systems was compared. The results prove that the pulse current technique is more cost-effective and more suitable for a BDD anode system for real wastewater treatment. A kinetic analysis was presented to explain the above results.

Spectral characteristics of laser-plasma instabilities with a broadband laser

Recent experimental progresses regarding broadband laser-plasma instabilities(LPIs)show that a 0.6%laser bandwidth can reduce backscatters of the stimulated Brillouin scattering(SBS)and the stimulated Raman scattering(SRS)at normal incidence[***.132035102(2024)].In this paper,we present a further discussion of the spectral distributions of the scatters developed by broadband LPIs,in addition to a brief validation of the effectiveness of bandwidth on LPIs mitigation at oblique *** backscatter has a small redshift in the broadband case contrary to the blueshift with narrowband laser,which may be explained by the self-cross beam energy transfer between the various frequency components within the *** backscatter spectrum presents a peak at a longer wavelength in the broadband case compared to the short one in the narrowband case,which is possibly attributed to the mitigation effect of bandwidth on filaments at underdense *** three-halves harmonic emission(3ω/2)has a one-peak spectral distribution under the broadband condition,which is different from the two-peak distribution under the narrowband condition,and may be related to the spectral mixing of different frequency components within the bandwidth if the main sources of the two are both two-plasmon decays.

Neutron-sensitive microchannel plates(nMCPs)have applications in neutron detection,including energy spectrum measurements,neutron-induced cross sections,and neutron imaging.10B-doped MCPs(B-MCPs)have attracted significant attention owing to their potential for exhibiting a high neutron detection efficiency over a large neutron energy *** spatial and temporal resolutions are useful for neutron energy-resolved ***,their practical applications still face many technical *** this study,a B-MCP with 10 mol%10B was tested for its response to wide-energy neutrons from eV to MeV at the Back-n white neutron source at the China Spallation Neutron *** neutron detection efficiency was calibrated at 1 eV,which is approximately 300 times that of an ordinary MCP and indicates the success of 10 B *** factors that caused the reduction in the detection efficiency were simulated and *** neutron energy spectrum obtained using B-MCP was compared with that obtained by other measurement methods,and showed very good consistency for neutron energies below tens of *** response is more complicated at higher neutron energy,at which point the elastic and nonelastic reactions of all nuclides of B-MCP gradually become *** is beneficial for the detection of neutrons,as it compensates for the detection efficiency of B-MCP for high-energy neutrons.

A series of CoMo/Al2O3 catalysts for selective hydrodesulfurization （HDS） of gasoline were studied with Raman spectroscopy, a powerful method that creates specific signals for the states and the distributions of oxidic precursors and sulfided active phases. The higher the Mo and Co, the lower the tetrahedrally coordinated molybdate, and the higher the polymolybdate. But the amount of polymolybdate decreased when CoMoO4 appeared. Cobalt-promoted polymolybdate was the precursor, and its relative content correlated well with the HDS selectivity. For sulfided catalysts, adding the cobalt-promoter led to local distortion-disorder of the MoS2 structure and the formation of a CoMoS phase. This method can provide important information for designing new industrial selective-HDS catalvsts.
