Background:Despite therapeutic advances,treatment of patients with axial spondyloarthritis(axSpA)continue to pose as a challenge as many do not respond well to conventional Western medications,such as nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs(NSAIDs)and biologic diseasemodifying antirheumatic drugs(bDMARDs).Hence,acupuncture is a possible *** studies found electroacupuncture to be better than manual acupuncture,though no trials have been conducted in patients with *** clinical trial aims to evaluate the clinical efficacy,safety,and cost-effectiveness of electroacupuncture compared to manual acupuncture for patients with ***/Design:This randomized controlled trial will recruit 100 patients diagnosed with axSpA,who have active disease despite NSAIDs and *** patients will be randomized to receive either electroacupuncture or manual acupuncture in a 1:1 *** participants will receive standard rheumatologic care in addition to 20 acupuncture *** mean difference in Bath Ankylosing Spondylitis Disease Activity Index score between the 2 groups over 12 weeks will serve as the primary *** outcomes include improvements in other clinical,quality of life,and economic outcomes over 24 *** adverse events will be ***:Results from this trial may provide evidence regarding the clinical effectiveness,safety,and cost-effectiveness of electroacupuncture compared to manual acupuncture for patients with axSpA,and guide implementation into clinical *** of this trial include the lack of patient blinding,use of a repeated measures design,and possible variation in acupuncture technique amongst the various Traditional chinese Medicine practitioners.

Pre-treatment to Improve the Bake-hardening Response in the Naturally Aged Al-Mg-Si Alloy

This paper describes pre-treatment methods to improve the bake-hardening response of naturally aged AA6022 （Al-0.6Mg-1.0Si）, which is an alloy used in automotive body panels. These methods are used to accelerate the artificial aging process, which proceeds 30-day period of natural aging. The precipitation behavior of the sheets of this aluminum alloy was analyzed by differential scanning calorimetry （DSC） and electrical conductivity measurements, and subsequently confirmed by microstructure observations by transmission electron microscopy （TEM）. Tensile tests and microhardness measurements were performed to determine the mechanical properties of the samples. Under simulated paint-baking conditions （30 min at 170℃）, the microhardness and the yield strength （YS） of the pre-strained ＋ pre-aged samples were found to be I13 HV and 225 MPa, respectively. These values are considerably higher than those of pre-aged samples, and they did not decrease significantly during the initial stage of artificial aging.

Ab initio CCSD(T)/CBS//B3LYP/6-311G(d,p)calculations of the potential energy surface for possible dissociation channels of HOC2H3F,as well as Rice-Ramsperger-Kassel-Marcus(RRKM)calculations of rate constants,were carried out,in order to predict statistical product branching ratios in dissociation of HOC2H3F at various internal *** most favorable reaction pathway leading to the major CH2CHO+HF products is as the following:OH+C2H3F→i2→TS14→i6→TS9→i3→TS3→CH2CHO+HF,where the rate-determining step is HF elimination from the CO bridging position via TS11,lying above the reactants by 3.8 kcal/*** CH2O+CH2F products can be formed by F atom migration from Cαto Cβposition via TS14,then H migration from O to Cαposition via TS16,and C-C breaking to form the products via TS5,which is 1.8 kcal/mol lower in energy than the reactants,and 4.0 kcal/mol lower than TS11.

Microwave assisted digestion followed by ICP-MS for determination of trace metals in atmospheric and lake ecosystem

The study of trace metals in the atmosphere and lake water is important due to their critical effects on humans, aquatic animals and the geochemical balance of ecosystems. The objective of this study was to investigate the concentration of trace metals in atmospheric and lake water samples during the rainy season （before and after precipitation） between November and December 2015. Typical methods of sample preparation for trace metal determination such as cloud point extraction, solid phase extraction and dispersive liquid- liquid micro-extraction are time-consuming and difficult to perform; therefore, there is a crucial need for development of more effective sample preparation procedure. A convection microwave assisted digestion procedure for extraction of trace metals was developed for use prior to inductively couple plasma-mass spectrometric determination. The result showed that metals like zinc （133.50-419.30 μg/m3） and aluminum （53.58-378.93 μg/m3） had higher concentrations in atmospheric samples as compared to lake samples before precipitation. On the other hand, the concentrations of zinc, aluminum, chromium and arsenic were significantly higher in lake samples after precipitation and lower in atmospheric samples. The relationship between physicochemical parameters （pH and turbidity） and heavy metal concentrations was investigated as well. Furthermore, enrichment factor analysis indicated that anthropogenic sources such as soil dust, biomass burning and fuel combustion influenced the metal concentrations in the atmosphere.

Cretaceous synfolding remagnetization components revealing tectonic rotation of the middle Yangtze fold belt

To reveal the deformation process of the middle Yangtze fold belt, we conducted a paleomagnetic study on Middle Triassic limestones and Middle to Late Jurassic sandstones from Wanzhou, Chongqing. Stepwise thermal and alternating field demagnetization were used to isolate the multi-component re- manent magnetizations. The Jurassic samples were overprinted by recent geomagnetic field, while three magnetization components were isolated from the Middle Triassic samples. A low temperature component (LTC) was isolated at temperatures below 200℃, an intermediate temperature component (ITC) at 200―360℃ and a high temperature component (HTC) at 400―460℃. The LTC is distributed around the present-day Earth magnetic field, probably a viscous component. Stepwise unfolding indi- cates that the maximum precision parameters of ITC and HTC components are achieved at 33±8% and 50±27% (with 95% confidence) unfolding, respectively. The best-clustered ITC mean direction, Dec = 11.2°, Inc = 45.2° (α95 = 4.5°, N = 34), corresponding to a paleopole at 79.3°N, 219.5°E (dp = 3.6°, dm = 5.7°), is consistent with the Cretaceous reference direction of the South china Block (SCB). The best-clustered HTC mean direction (taking 70% unfolding), Dec = 24.2°, Inc =49.0° (α95 = 3.6°, N = 23), corresponding to a paleopole at 69.2°N, 195.5°E (dp =3.1°, dm = 4.8°), suggests a clockwise rotation of 12.8°±3.5°. These synfolding remagnetization components clearly reveal that a clockwise rotation happened at the middle stage of folding, thus supporting that at least part of the variation in fold axis strikes is due to orocline rotation. Combined with published data, our analysis indicates that the Wan- zhou-Xiangxi segment of the middle Yangtze fold belt experienced oroclinal bending. Furthermore, a published post-folding component isolated from the Middle Triassic Puqi Formation suggests a 27.5°±5.8° clockwise rotation, confirming that at least 50% of the observed clockwise rotations in the eastern middle

Electrospray ionization tandem mass spectrometric studies to probe the interaction of Cu(II) with amoxicillin

This study describes the application of electrospray ionization mass spectrometry （ESI-MS） to investigate copper ion interaction with amoxicillin. ESI mass spectra of Cu-amoxicillin complexes show complex ions at m/z 828, 792, 753, 731,428, 388 and 366 corresponding to [63Cu＋（2A-H）＋2H2O]＋, [63Cu＋（2A-H）]＋, [2A＋Na]＋, [2A＋H]＊, [63Cu＋（A-H）]~, [A＋Na]~ and [A＋H]＋（where A = amoxicillin）. Based on the observed m/z values of Cu-amoxicillin complex ions, it is found that the Cu-amoxicillin ratios are 1：1 and 1：2, and the copper ions exhibited three feasible coordination numbers （2, 4 and 6） with arnoxicillin complexes. The structures and coordination numbers of copper-arnoxicillin complex ions were probed from their collisionally activated dissociation （CAD） spectra. Based on these results, it is confirmed that the copper ions could form stable tetrahedral and octahedral complexes with amoxicillin. This study validates the annlicabilitv of ESI-MS for nrobin; CODDer-amoxicillin comDlex ions.

Online AUV Path Replanning Using Quantum-Behaved Particle Swarm Optimization with Selective Differential Evolution

This paper presents an online AUV(autonomous underwater vehicle)path planner that employs path replanning approach and the SDEQPSO(selective differential evolution-hybridized quantum-behaved particle swarm optimization)algorithm to optimize an AUV mission conducted in an unknown,dynamic and cluttered ocean *** proposed path replanner considered the effect of ocean currents in path optimization to generate a Pareto-optimal path that guides the AUV to its target within minimum *** optimization was based on the onboard sensor data measured from the environment,which consists of a priori unknown dynamic obstacles and spatiotemporal *** sensor arrangements for the forward-looking sonar and horizontal acoustic Doppler current profiler(H-ADCP)were considered in 2D and 3D *** on the simulation results,the SDEQPSO path replanner was found to be capable of generating a time-optimal path that offered up to 13%reduction in travel time compared to the situation where the vehicle simply followed a path with the shortest *** proposed replanning technique also showed consistently better performance over a reactive path planner in terms of solution quality,stability,and computational *** of the replanner was verified under stochastic process using the Monte Carlo *** generated path fulfilled the vehicle’s safety and physical constraints,while intelligently exploiting ocean currents to improve the vehicle’s efficiency.

Relationship between real meridional volume transport and Sverdrup transport in the North Subtropical Pacific

The oceanic meridional volume trans-port (MVT) in the North Subtropical Pacific is calcu-lated directly from an observed velocity field (realMVT) and indirectly from wind stress based on Sver-drup balance, respectively. It is confirmed that theSverdrup MVT is a good approximation to the realMVT for the North Subtropical Pacific except in thewestern boundary region, where the difference isexpected because of frictional and nonlinear *** time evolution of the MVT derived from a revisedSverdrup balance, in which a time delay due to thepropagation of the first baroclinic Rossby wave isconsidered, is well correlated with that of the realMVT on decadal time scale, especially near thewestern boundary region. It is suggested that theSverdrup balance can be used to study not only themean climatology of the oceanic circulation, but alsothe time-dependent oceanic circulation of the NorthSubtropical Pacific when the Rossby wave propaga-tion is taken into account.

Chemometrics of differentially expressed proteins from colorectal cancer patients

AIM:To evaluate the usefulness of differentially expressed proteins from colorectal cancer (CRC) tissues for differentiating cancer and normal ***:A Proteomic approach was used to identify the differentially expressed proteins between CRC and normal *** proteins were extracted using Tris buffer and thiourea lysis buffer (TLB) for extraction of aqueous soluble and membrane-associated proteins,***,namely principal component analysis (PCA) and linear discriminant analysis (LDA),were used to assess the usefulness of these proteins for identifying the cancerous state of ***:Differentially expressed proteins identified were 37 aqueous soluble proteins in Tris extracts and 24 membrane-associated proteins in TLB *** on the protein spots intensity on 2D-gel images,PCA by applying an eigenvalue > 1 was successfully used to reduce the number of principal components (PCs) into 12 and seven PCs for Tris and TLB extracts,respectively,and subsequently six PCs,respectively from both the extracts were used for *** LDA classification for Tris extract showed 82.7% of original samples were correctly classified,whereas 82.7% were correctly classified for the cross-validated *** LDA for TLB extract showed that 78.8% of original samples and 71.2% of the cross-validated samples were correctly ***:The classification of CRC tissues by PCA and LDA provided a promising distinction between normal and cancer *** methods can possibly be used for identification of potential biomarkers among the differentially expressed proteins identified.
