Identification of process parameters,their effects and contributions to the outcomes of the system using experimental approach could be a daunting,time consuming,and costly *** proper statistical methods,i.e.,Taguchi method,could significantly reduce the number of required experiments and statistical significance of the parameter can be *** stir welding is one of those welding techniques with many parameters which have different effects on the quality of the *** friction stir welding the tool rotational speed(RPM)and transverse speed(mm/min)influence the strength(i.e.,hardness distribution)of the stirred *** this study,these two factors are investigated to determine the effect they will have on the hardness in the stirred zone of the friction stir welds and how the two factors are related to one another for as-cast magnesium alloy AM60 with nominal chemical composition of Mg-(5.5-6.5)Al-(0.24-0.6)*** data was taken at three different tool rotational speeds and three different transverse *** data obtained was then analyzed using a 32 factorial design to find the contribution of these *** was determined that both tool rotational speed and transverse speed possess significant effects on the stir zone ***,the interactions between the two factors were statistically assessed.

Undeniably,Deep Learning(DL)has rapidly eroded traditional machine learning in Remote Sensing(RS)and geoscience domains with applications such as scene understanding,material identification,extreme weather detection,oil spill identification,among many *** machine learning algorithms are given less and less attention in the era of big ***,a substantial amount of work aimed at developing image classification approaches based on the DL model’s success in computer *** number of relevant articles has nearly doubled every year since *** in remote sensing technology,as well as the rapidly expanding volume of publicly available satellite imagery on a worldwide scale,have opened up the possibilities for a wide range of modern ***,there are some challenges related to the availability of annotated data,the complex nature of data,and model parameterization,which strongly impact *** this article,a comprehensive review of the literature encompassing a broad spectrum of pioneer work in remote sensing image classification is presented including network architectures(vintage Convolutional Neural Network,CNN;Fully Convolutional Networks,FCN;encoder-decoder,recurrent networks;attention models,and generative adversarial models).The characteristics,capabilities,and limitations of current DL models were examined,and potential research directions were discussed.

Local annealing of amorphous NiTi thin films was performed by using an Nd：YAG 1064 nm wavelength pulsed laser beam. Raw samples produced by simultaneous sputter deposition from elemental Ni and Ti targets onto unheated Si （100） and Silica （111） substrates were used for annealing. Delicate treatment with 15.92 W/mm^2 power density resulted in crystallization of small spots; while 16.52 and 17.51 W/mm^2 power densities caused ablation of the amorphous layer. Optical microscopy, scanning electron microscopy, X-ray diffraction and atomic force microscopy were performed to characterize the microstructure and surface morphology of the amorphous/crystallized spot patterns.

Collagen is an endogenousfluorophore that accounts for about 70%of all proteins of human skin,so it can be an optical marker for structural abnormalities in tissues registered by laserfluorescent diagnostics in *** the examples of such abnormalities as scars,scleroderma and basal cell carcinoma,this study shows the differences between coefficients offluorescent contrast k_(f)(λ)of abnormalities from the ones for healthy tissues atfluorescent excitation wavelength 360380 *** is shown that scars and dysplasia are characterized by reduced values of k_(f)(λ)for *** to high turbidity and phase heterogeneousness as well as variation of parameters of blood microcirculation and concentrations of other related chromophores,there is no mathematical model that precisely calculates the concentration of collagen in tissues only with the use of the value offluorescent signal ***,probably,the best marker of the pathological process is a comprehensive representation of k_(f)(λ)for all endogenousfluorophores,i.e.,for all used visible *** this case identification of abnormal tissues is quite possible by detecting some deviations of coefficients k_(f)(λ)for the optically identical and symmetrical regions of the human body.

In this editorial,we comment on the article entitled“Advances and key focus areas in gastric cancer immunotherapy:A comprehensive scientometric and clinical trial review(1999-2023),”which was published in the recent issue of the World Journal of *** focused on the results of the authors’bibliometric analysis concerning gastric cancer immunotherapy,which they analyzed in depth by compiling the relevant publications of the last 20 *** that,we briefly describe the most recent data concerning the epidemiological parameters of gastric cancer(GC)in different countries,attempting to give an interpretation based on the etiological factors involved in the etiopathogenesis of the *** then briefly discuss the conservative treatment(chemotherapy)of the various forms of this malignant *** describe the treatment of resectable tumors,locally advanced neoplasms,and unresectable(advanced)*** attention is given to modern therapeutic approaches with emphasis on immunotherapy,which seems to be the future of GC treatment,especially in combination with *** is also a thorough analysis of the results of the study under review in terms of the number of scientific publications,the countries in which the studies were conducted,the authors,and the scientific centers of origin,as well as the clinical studies in ***,an attempt is made to draw some conclusions and to point out possible future directions.

Muon spin relaxation/rotation(μSR) is a vital technique for probing the superconducting gap structure, pairing symmetry and time reversal symmetry breaking, enabling an understanding of the mechanisms behind the unconventional superconductivity of cuprates and Fe-based high-temperature superconductors, which remain a puzzle. Very recently double layered Fe-based superconductors having quasi-2 D crystal structures and Cr-based superconductors with a quasi-1D structure have drawn considerable attention. here we present a brief review of the characteristics of a few selected Fe-and Cr-based superconducting materials and highlight some of the major outstanding problems, with an emphasis on the superconducting pairing symmetries of these materials. We focus on μSR studies of the newly discovered superconductors ACa_2Fe_4As_4F_2(A = k, Rb, and Cs), ThFeAsN, and A_2Cr_3As_3(A = k, Cs), which were used to determine the superconducting gap structures, the presence of spin fluctuations, and to search for time reversal symmetry breaking in the superconducting states. We also briefly discuss the results of μSR investigations of the superconductivity in hole and electron doped BaFe_2As_2.

Lithium titanate(Li_(2)TiO_(3))is one of the most promising candidates among the tritium breeding materials because of its good tritium release *** concentration has much significance on the diffusivity of tritium in the *** nanocrystalline single-phase Li_(2)TiO_(3) with monoclinic structure has been prepared by high energy ball milling followed by calcination at 700℃for 2 *** field emission scanning electron microscopy(FESEM)studies confirmed uniform distribution of nanocrystalline phase with particle size below 100 *** study of the Li^(+)ion diffusion on the sintered sample was investigated by means of electrical conductivity *** properties of the samples were studied in wide temperature(50-500℃)and frequency(100 hz-1 Mhz)*** complex impedance spectroscopy(CIS)studies showed the presence of both bulk and grain boundary effects in nanocrystalline Li_(2)TiO_(3).The bulk resistance of the samples has been observed to decrease with rise in temperature showing a typical negative temperature coefficient of resistance(NTCR)*** low activation energies of the samples suggested the presence of singly ionized oxygen vacancies in the conduction *** hopping frequency shifted toward higher frequency with increase in *** energy of 0.86 eV was calculated from AC conductivity.

AIM： To assess the level of glutathione, thioltransferase, and argpyrimidine in nuclear and cortical cataractous lenses as well as in the clear lenses in the north Indian ***： human cataractous lenses were collected from the patients who underwent extracapsular cataract extraction surgery; clear lenses were collected from the freshly donated eye bank eyes. Antioxidant molecules such as glutathione and thioltransferase enzyme activity were measured; simultaneously in these lenses a blue fluorophore argpyrimidine, an advanced glycation end（AGE） product level was assessed using high performance liquid chromatography（hPLC）.RESULTS： The protein concentration was found to be present at higher levels in the control lenses compared to cataract lenses. A significant decrease in the glutathione level was observed in the nuclear cataractous lenses compared to cortical cataractous（P=0.004） and clear lenses（P≤0.005）, but no significant change in the level of antioxidant enzyme thioltransferase was observed. Further, argpyrimidine a blue fluorophore（AGE） was found to be significantly higher in the nuclear cataract（P=0.013） compared to cortical cataract ***： Antioxidants such as glutathione significantly decrease in age-related nuclear and cortical cataract and an AGE, argpyrimidine are present at significantly higher levels in nuclear cataract.

This paper,resents a system called Athlos2,which implements strong access control for athletic events, enhancing the safety feeling of event spectators. Athlos2 integrates intelligent biometric access control systems and smart cards,under a protocol that complies ith the specification of the Liberty Alliance project for federated identities.A pilot version of Athlos2 was deployed and tested in terms of acceptability,information security and performance.
