Follicular Aspiration Is Superior to Coasting as Effective Prophylactic Procedure against Ovarian Hyperstimulation Syndrome

Objectives: Evaluation of outcome follicular aspiration compared to coating procedure for infertile women undergoing ICSI regarding frequency and severity of ovarian hyperstimulation syndrome (OHSS). Patients & Methods: Infertile PCOS women underwent controlled ovarian stimulation with luteal phase GnRH-agonist long down-regulation protocol. Women developed serum E2 level > 4000 pg/ml and/or >20 follicles of ≥10 mm in diameter were randomly divided to receive coasting strategy (Coasting group) or TVU-guided aspiration (Aspiration group). When ≥3 follicles were ≥18 mm and serum E2 level was and 10,000 IU was administered 36 h before oocyte retrieval, and ICSI was performed 72-hr thereafter and the frequency of moderate-to-severe OHSS was determined. Results: 82 women developed criteria for categorization and 21 women (25.6%) developed moderate-to-severe OHSS;5 women of aspiration and 16 of Coasting group;with significantly (P = 0.005) lower frequency in aspiration group. Twenty women developed ascites;3 women had clinically detectable, while 17 women had US detected ascites with significantly (P = 0.039) higher frequency among women that had coasting. All other manifestations of OHSS were significantly lower with aspiration procedure. Both coasting and aspiration therapy significantly reduced serum E2 and ovarian diameter on day of hCG injection compared to estimates taken at time of categorization. Conclusion: Coasting procedure prior to hCG injection could decrease incidence of OHSS and lessens its manifestation. Follicular aspiration provided more superior results and improved outcome of these women. Any of these modalities could be provided to infertile high-risk women according to the availability of experiences and patients’ selection.

CO2 Emission from Electricity Generation in Malaysia： A Decomposition Analysis

In tenth Malaysian Plan, Malaysian government had voluntarily targeted to reduce its emission intensity to 40% compared to the 2005 level by the year 2020 and recently re-pledge to reduce more and declared for 45% emission reduction by 2030. Looking at the country＇s high dependency to the fossil fuel generation it is a high concern on the increasing CO2 emission in Malaysia. This paper intends to analyze the current status of CO2 emissions from electricity generation in Malaysia during the period 1992-2014 by applying the LMDI （logarithmic mean Divisia index） technique to find the nature of the factors influencing the changes in CO2 emissions. The decomposition analysis observed three biggest factors contributed to the reduction of CO2 emission throughout the period which is thermal generation effect, electricity generation efficiency effect and electricity structure effect.

Numerical Treatment of Initial-Boundary Value Problems with Mixed Boundary Conditions

In this paper, we extend the reliable modification of the Adomian Decom-position Method coupled to the Lesnic’s approach to solve boundary value problems and initial boundary value problems with mixed boundary conditions for linear and nonlinear partial differential equations. The method is applied to different forms of heat and wave equations as illustrative examples to exhibit the effectiveness of the method. The method provides the solution in a rapidly convergent series with components that can be computed iteratively. The numerical results for the illustrative examples obtained show remarkable agreement with the exact solutions. We also provide some graphical representations for clear-cut comparisons between the solutions using Maple software.

Effects of bismuth on structural and dielectric properties of cobalt-cadmium spinel ferrites fabricated via micro-emulsion route

Spinel ferrites have a significant role in high-tech *** the present work nano-crystalline ferrites having general formula Co0.5Cd0.5BixFe2-xO4 with(x=0.0,0.05,0.1,0.15,0.2,and 0.25)are synthesized via micro-emulsion *** x-ray diffraction(XRD)studies discover the FCC spinel *** size is calculated in a range of 11 nm-15 *** parameter calculations are reduced due to its substitution which leads to the exchange of large ionic radius of Fe^3+for small ionic radius of Bi^3+.The x-ray density is analyzed to increase with *** transform infrared spectroscopy(FTIR)is performed to analyze absorption band *** two absorption bands are observed in a range of 400 cm^-1-600 cm^-1,and they are the characteristic feature of spinel ***-gravimetric analysis(TGA)reveals the total weight loss of nearly 1.98%.Dielectric analysis is carried out by impedance analyzer in a frequency span from 1 MHz to 3 GHz by using the Maxwell Wagner *** studies reveal the decrease of dielectric *** alternating current(AC)conductivity exhibits a plane behavior in a low frequency range and it increases with the applied frequency *** is attributed to the grain effects in a high frequency range or may be due to the reduction of *** and imaginary part of impedance show the decreasing trend which corresponds to the grain boundary *** imaginary modulus shows the occurrence of peak that helps to understand the interfacial ***-Cole graph shows a single semicircle which confirms that the conduction mechanism is due to the grain boundaries at low *** studies reveal the applicability of these ferrites in high frequency equipment,microwave applications,high storage media,and semiconductor devices.

Objective:To evaluate a novel polyherbal formulation(BSVT)containing the standardized extracts from the leaves of Boerhavia diffusa,Solidago virgaurea,Vitex negundo,and thymoquinone in CCl4 induced hepatorenal toxicity in ***:A total of 36 rats were divided into six groups including normal control,CCl4(2 mL/kg,i.p.),CCl4(2 mL/kg,i.p.)+Cystone?(750 mg/kg p.o.),CCl4(2 mL/kg,i.p.)+BSVT(25 mg/kg,p.o.),CCl4(2 mL/kg,i.p.)+BSVT(50 mg/kg,p.o.),and CCl4(2 mL/kg,i.p.)+BSVT(100 mg/kg,p.o.).All treatments were given for four *** levels of aspartate transaminase,alanine transaminase,alkaline phosphatase,cholesterol,total protein,serum urea,blood urea nitrogen and creatinine were *** dismutase,malondialdehyde,and glutathione peroxidase were evaluated in tissue *** histopathological study of liver and kidney tissues was also ***:Aspartate transaminase,alanine transaminase,alkaline phosphatase,cholesterol,serum urea,blood urea nitrogen and creatinine were significantly elevated(P<0.001)while total protein was considerably reduced in the CCl4 group as compared to the normal control(P<0.001),which indicated hepatorenal *** addition,superoxide dismutase and glutathione peroxidase activities were significantly decreased(P<0.001)while malondialdehyde levels were increased markedly(P<0.001).Treatment with BSVT formulation recovered these parameters towards a normal level in a dose-dependent ***:BSVT formulation ameliorates the hepatorenal toxicity in a dose-dependent ***,clinical studies are required to confirm its efficacy.

在埃塞俄比亚境内塔纳湖中发现了1种寄生于鲤科鱼类:间魮(Labeobarbus intermedius)和Labeobarbus tsanensis体内的许氏绦虫,经形态学鉴定其为亚美尼亚许氏绦虫Khawia armeniaca(Cholodkovsky,1915)(绦虫纲:鲤蠢目)。该绦虫鉴别特征为头节呈半球状,边缘光滑,无皱褶;睾丸分布区域从虫体中部至阴茎囊之前;卵巢前卵黄腺分布于虫体中后部至阴茎囊前部区域,少数排列在阴茎囊之后;子宫起始于阴茎囊后方弯曲环绕直至卵巢后部区域,有少许卵黄腺排列在子宫和卵巢的两侧。此外,***卵巢呈滤泡状或蝴蝶状,雌雄生殖孔分离但彼此距离很近,开口于体表并形成同一生殖腔,且雄性生殖孔位于雌性生殖孔前方。卵巢后卵黄腺数目少于100个,分布于虫体末端,卵黄腺距离卵巢后翼较远,部分样品内卵黄腺接近卵巢后翼。

The Internet of Things(IoT)is the fourth technological revolution in the global information industry after computers,the Internet,and mobile communication *** combines radio-frequency identification devices,infrared sensors,global positioning systems,and various other *** sensing equipment is connected via the Internet,thus forming a vast *** these physical devices are connected to the Internet,the user terminal can be extended and expanded to exchange information,communicate with anything,and carry out identification,positioning,tracking,monitoring,and triggering of corresponding events on each device in the *** real life,the IoT has a wide range of applications,covering many fields,such as smart homes,smart logistics,fine agriculture and animal husbandry,national defense,and *** of the most significant factors in wireless channels is interference,which degrades the system *** the existing QR decomposition-based signal detection method is an emerging topic because of its low complexity,it does not solve the problem of poor detection ***,this study proposes a maximumlikelihood-based QR decomposition *** main idea is to estimate the initial level of detection using the maximum likelihood principle,and then the other layer is detected using a reliable *** optimal candidate is selected from the feedback by deploying the candidate points in an unreliable *** results show that the proposed algorithm effectively reduces the interference and propagation error compared with the algorithms reported in the literature.

Empirically Validated Software Efficiency Estimation Model: Product Operation Perspective

The quality element of a design class is important as it has a substantial listed influence on overall required quality of the software. The complexity and lengthy codes of program severely affect several quality measures, especially efficiency of the final delivered software. This paper does an appropriate review on efficiency of object oriented software, and suggests some relevant information about class design level efficiency. Program efficiency is an important factor to software quality. Moreover, if software efficiency analysis has been done in the early steps of the software creation process then it assures as a criterion to software quality. This article proposes a comprehensive research idea for estimation of the efficiency index. Subsequently, it does an extremely methodical review on design efficiency of software. After that, a design metric based efficiency estimation model at the design time has been proposed by creating the link between design properties of the program and efficiency criteria. Furthermore, the correlation is mapped among all with the help of statistical values for selected design properties and efficiency criteria. In addition, efficiency estimation model is empirically validated with try-out data.

Content authentication,integrity verification,and tampering detection of digital content exchanged via the internet have been used to address a major concern in information and communication *** this paper,a text zero-watermarking approach known as Smart-Fragile Approach based on Soft Computing and Digital Watermarking(SFASCDW)is proposed for content authentication and tampering detection of English text.A first-level order of alphanumeric mechanism,based on hidden Markov model,is integrated with digital zero-watermarking techniques to improve the watermark robustness of the proposed *** researcher uses the first-level order and alphanumeric mechanism of Markov model as a soft computing technique to analyze English ***,he extracts the features of the interrelationship among the contexts of the text,utilizes the extracted features as watermark information,and validates it later with the studied English text to detect any *** has been implemented using PHP with VS code *** robustness,effectiveness,and applicability of SFASCDW are proved with experiments involving four datasets of various lengths in random locations using the three common attacks,namely insertion,reorder,and *** SFASCDW was found to be effective and could be applicable in detecting any possible tampering.

Solar energy is the most abundant form of energy on Earth. Solar energy brings impactful benefits and products that are expected to make homes more reliable, sustainable, and affordable. Thanks to technological advancements like the solar cell, we can gather this energy and turn it into electricity. The construction industry has an exceptional chance of benefiting from this sustainable energy. Many recognised benefits have been spelled forth in the construction industry, such as providing homes with clean energy with no trace of ozone depleting material emission. There are many people in Nigeria who are not linked to the public electric grid, and the energy sector produces and generates less than 58% of the entire amount of energy required. As stated in the Nigeria’s National Energy General Plan, the Sustainable Energy programme aims to enhance the country’s use of solar electricity. This paper focuses on the role of solar energy in the provision of sustainable affordable housing in Nigeria. It considers the description, method, and utilisation of solar energy with a focus on residential and commercial buildings.
