In this paper, a self contained capsubot （capsule robot） propulsion mechanism is investigated. The proposed capsubot works on the principle of internal force-static friction. A modified linear DC motor is used to drive the capsubot. A novel acceleration profile is proposed for the moving part （linear cylinder） based on the principle. A significant feature of the proposed capsubot is that it is legless, wheelless, and trackless. The developed capsubot with a proposed propulsion mechanism demonstrates a very good average velocity. The propulsion mechanism has the potential to be used for the propulsion of a wireless-controlled self-propelling capsule endoscope. Simulation and experimental results demonstrate the performance of the self-contained capsubot with the proposed acceleration profile.

Epiphyseal injuries of distal femur are rare with an incidence of 1%—6% among all physeal injuries. Prompt diagnosis and appropriate surgical treatment is crucial to achieve satisfactory functional outcomes. A conjoint bicondylar coronal split (Hoffa) fracture with complete transaction of ipsilateral patellar tendon has been reported in a 12 year old child. The injury was managed by open reduction and internal fixation and bone to ten don repair. This case emphasizes the need of accurate intraepiphyseal fixation for the management of these fractures in skeletally immature patients.

Due to the difficulties of brain tumor segmentation, this paper proposes a strategy for extracting brain tumors from three-dimensional MagneticResonance Image (MRI) and Computed Tomography (CT) scans utilizing3D U-Net Design and ResNet50, taken after by conventional classificationstrategies. In this inquire, the ResNet50 picked up accuracy with 98.96%, andthe 3D U-Net scored 97.99% among the different methods of deep *** is to be mentioned that traditional Convolutional Neural Network (CNN)gives 97.90% accuracy on top of the 3D MRI. In expansion, the imagefusion approach combines the multimodal images and makes a fused image toextricate more highlights from the medical images. Other than that, we haveidentified the loss function by utilizing several dice measurements approachand received Dice Result on top of a specific test case. The average mean scoreof dice coefficient and soft dice loss for three test cases was 0.0980. At thesame time, for two test cases, the sensitivity and specification were recordedto be 0.0211 and 0.5867 using patch level predictions. On the other hand,a software integration pipeline was integrated to deploy the concentratedmodel into the webserver for accessing it from the software system using theRepresentational state transfer (REST) API. Eventually, the suggested modelswere validated through the Area Under the Curve–Receiver CharacteristicOperator (AUC–ROC) curve and Confusion Matrix and compared with theexisting research articles to understand the underlying problem. ThroughComparative Analysis, we have extracted meaningful insights regarding braintumour segmentation and figured out potential gaps. Nevertheless, the proposed model can be adjustable in daily life and the healthcare domain to identify the infected regions and cancer of the brain through various imagingmodalities.

The current manuscript makes use of the prominent iterative procedure, called the Adomian Decomposition Method (ADM), to tackle some important special differential equations. The equations of curiosity in this study are the singular equations that arise in many physical science applications. Thus, through the application of the ADM, a generalized recursive scheme was successfully derived and further utilized to obtain closed-form solutions for the models under consideration. The method is, indeed, fascinating as respective exact analytical solutions are accurately acquired with only a small number of iterations.

The current study examines the important class of Chebyshev’s differential equations via the application of the efficient Adomian Decomposition Method (ADM) and its modifications. We have proved the effectiveness of the employed methods by acquiring exact analytical solutions for the governing equations in most cases;while minimal noisy error terms have been observed in a particular method modification. Above all, the presented approaches have rightly affirmed the exactitude of the available literature. More to the point, the application of this methodology could be extended to examine various forms of high-order differential equations, as approximate exact solutions are rapidly attained with less computation stress.

BACKGROUND Timing of passaging,passage number,passaging approaches and methods for cell identification are critical factors influencing the quality of neural stem cells(NSCs)*** to effectively culture and identify NSCs is a continuous interest in NSCs study while these factors are comprehensively *** To establish a simplified and efficient method for culture and identification of neonatal rat brain-derived *** First,curved tip operating scissors were used to dissect brain tissues from new born rats(2 to 3 d)and the brain tissues were cut into approximately 1 mm^(3)*** the single cell suspension through a nylon mesh(200-mesh)and culture the sections in *** was conducted with TrypLTM Express combined with mechanical tapping and pipetting ***,identify the 5th generation of passaged NSCs as well as the revived NSCs from *** incorporation method was used to detect self-renew and proliferation capabilities of *** NSCs specific antibodies(anti-nestin,NF200,NSE and GFAP antibodies)were used to identify NSCs specific surface markers and muti-differentiation capabilities by immunofluorescence *** Brain derived cells from newborn rats(2 to 3 d)proliferate and aggregate into spherical-shaped clusters with sustained continuous and stable *** BrdU was incorporated into the 5th generation of passaged cells,positive BrdU cells and nestin cells were observed by immunofluorescence *** induction of dissociation using 5%fetal bovine serum,positive NF200,NSE and GFAP cells were observed by immunofluorescence *** This is a simplified and efficient method for neonatal rat brain-derived neural stem cell culture and identification.

Across the world, people are highly concerned with environmental matters, while worries about risks and threats continue. In recent decades, environmental concerns have drawn more international and national attention, particularly, the green economy, an area of environmental awareness that aims to reduce environmental risks and ecological scarcities, fostering sustainable development without degrading the environment. The present study investigated green economy awareness among the higher education students in Oman in general and Sultan Qaboos University (SQU) in particular to assess their knowledge, attitudes and practice regarding the green economy. Data were collected via a structured questionnaire that was delivered to all students of the nine university colleges. The descriptive data analysis revealed that most respondents were aware of the concept of the green economy. While general knowledge and awareness about the concept were generally satisfactory, there were still some misconceptions and a lack of knowledge about some other themes. Statistical tools such as the Chi-square test, WAS and factor analysis were used to analyse any differences in the perception of male and female respondents as well as college background and majors.

Efficient Decomposition Shooting Method for Solving Third-Order Boundary Value Problems

The present paper proposes a mathematical method to numerically treat a class of third-order linear Boundary Value Problems (BVPs). This method is based on the combination of the Adomian Decomposition Method (ADM) and, the modified shooting method. A complete derivation of the proposed method has been provided, in addition to its numerical implementation and, validation via the utilization of the Runge-Kutta method and, other existing methods. The method has been applied to diverse test problems and turned out to perform remarkably. Lastly, the simulated numerical results have been graphically illustrated and, also supported by some absolute error comparison tables.

Nature experience promotes preference for and willingness to coexist with wild animals among urban and suburban residents in Malaysia

Introduction:A decline in direct experience with nature can lead to disaffection of natural environments,wildlife,and public indifference towards biodiversity *** study measured on affective attitude towards wildlife(i.e.,preferences for and willingness to coexist with 22 animal species)and examined the relationships between these attitudes and childhood experiences with ***:A face to face interview was carried out in rapidly urbanizing Malaysia for both urban and suburban 357 adults(age>20 years old).Results:It found that Malaysian people liked several insects and squirrels,but disliked mammals *** analysis,with controlling sociodemographic factors(gender,age and ethnicity),showed that childhood nature experience was positively associated with preference for wild animals(standardized path coefficient=0.18;p<0.001),and the preference had a strong correlation with willingness to coexistence(standardized path coefficient=0.61;p<0.001)with the *** nature experience,however,had limited effects on willingness to coexist with the animals via the preference,particularly for unfavourable *** results suggest that preference and willingness scores,even though they were significantly correlated,were different sides of affective attitudes toward ***:Therefore,to promote biodiversity conservation programs,we need strategies to increase acceptance of wild animals via relevant environmental education and public communication,as well as opportunities for nature activities for children.
