Uncertainty relations are of profound significance in quantum mechanics and quantum information *** well-known Heisenberg-Robertson uncertainty relation presents the constraints on the spread of measurement outcomes caused by the non-commutability of a pair of *** this article,we study the uncertainty relation of triple observables to explore the relationship between the standard deviations and the commutators of the *** derive and tighten the multiplicative form and weighted summation form uncertainty relations,which are found to be dependent not only on the commutation relations of each pair of the observables but also on a newly defined commutator in terms of all the three *** experimentally test the uncertainty relations in a linear optical *** experimental and numerical results agree well and show that the uncer-tainty relations derived by us successfully present tight lower bounds in the cases of high-dimensional observables and the cases of mixed *** method of deriving the uncertainty relation can be extended to more than three observables.

Multi-scale system remains a classical scientific problem in fluid dynamics,biology,*** the present study,a scheme of multi-scale Physics-informed neural networks is proposed to solve the boundary layer flow at high Reynolds numbers without any *** flow is divided into several regions with different scales based on Prandtl's boundary *** regions are solved with governing equations in different *** method of matched asymptotic expansions is used to make the flow field continuously.A flow on a semi infinite flat plate at a high Reynolds number is considered a multi-scale problem because the boundary layer scale is much smaller than the outer flow *** results are compared with the reference numerical solutions,which show that the msPINNs can solve the multi-scale problem of the boundary layer in high Reynolds number *** scheme can be developed for more multi-scale problems in the future.

Seawater splitting into hydrogen,a promising technology,is seriously limited by the durability and tolerance of electrocatalysts for chlorine ions in seawater at large current densities due to chloride oxidation and ***,we present a robust and weak-nucleophilicity nickel-iron hydroxide electrocatalyst with excellent selectivity for oxygen evolution and an inert response for chlorine ion oxidation which are key and highly desired for efficient seawater *** a weak-nucleophilicity electrocatalyst can well match with strong-nucleophilicity OH-compared with the weak-nucleophilicity Cl^(-),resultantly,the oxidation of OH-in electrolyte can be more easily achieved relative to chlorine ion oxidation,confirmed by ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid disodium probing ***,no strongly corrosive hypochlorite is produced when the operating voltage reaches about 2.1 V ***,a potential that is far beyond the thermodynamic potential of chlorine ion oxidatio *** concept and approach to reasonably designing weaknucleophilicity electrocatalysts that can greatly avoid chlorine ion oxidation under alkaline seawater environments can push forward the seawater electrolysis technology and also accelerate the development of green hydrogen technique.

Laser 3D printing,also known as laser additive manufacturing(LAM),is favored for its ability to form bulk metallic glass(BMG)and its composite materials(BMGcs)with freeform *** this work,two different kinds of Fe_(41)Co_(7)Cr_(15)Mo_(14)C_(15)B_(6)Y_(2)amorphous coatings(A and B)were prepared by using LAM technology under air-and water-cooled conditions,respectively;meanwhile,to reduce the cracks generated due to the residual thermal stresses,coating C obtained by air-sweep annealing of B with a low energy-density *** morphology and amorphous content and microstructure of the coatings were investigated,the results show many cracks in coating B deposited under water-cooled conditions,and its microstructure shows an amorphous-crystal-nanocrystalline mixed *** was suppressed in coating C,obtained by air-sweep annealing based on coating B,but the amorphous content was reduced from 32.6 to 13.4%.And the hardness and corrosion resistance of the coating will increase with the increase in the amorphous ***,the internal friction behavior of a BMGcs was prepared on the basis of the process of sample C is compared with that of as-cast amorphous *** results show that the low temperature internal friction behavior of BMGcs is affected by the defects produced during printing,and the high temperature internal friction behavior is affected by the precipitated hard phase.

This comprehensive review provides a deep exploration of the unique roles of single atom catalysts(SACs)in photocatalytic hydrogen peroxide(H_(2)O_(2))*** offer multiple benefits over traditional catalysts such as improved efficiency,selectivity,and flexibility due to their distinct electronic structure and unique *** review discusses the critical elements in the design of SACs,including the choice of metal atom,host material,and coordination environment,and how these elements impact the catalytic *** role of single atoms in photocatalytic H_(2)O_(2)production is also analysed,focusing on enhancing light absorption and charge generation,improving the migration and separation of charge carriers,and lowering the energy barrier of adsorption and activation of *** these advantages,several challenges,including H_(2)O_(2)decomposition,stability of SACs,unclear mechanism,and low selectivity,need to be *** towards the future,the review suggests promising research directions such as direct utilization of H_(2)O_(2),high-throughput synthesis and screening,the creation of dual active sites,and employing density functional theory for investigating the mechanisms of SACs in H_(2)O_(2)*** review provides valuable insights into the potential of single atom catalysts for advancing the field of photocatalytic H_(2)O_(2)production.

Timely inspection of defects on the surfaces of wind turbine blades can effectively prevent unpredictable *** this end,this study proposes a semi-supervised object-detection network based on You Only Looking Once version 4(YOLOv4).A semi-supervised structure comprising a generative adversarial network(GAN)was designed to overcome the difficulty in obtaining sufficient samples and sample *** a GAN,the generator is realized by an encoder-decoder network,where the backbone of the encoder is YOLOv4 and the decoder comprises inverse convolutional *** features from the generator are passed to the defect detection *** several unlabeled images can significantly improve the generalization and recognition capabilities of defect-detection *** small-scale object detection capacity of the network can be improved by enhancing essential features in the feature map by adding the concurrent spatial and channel squeeze and excitation(scSE)attention module to the three parts of the YOLOv4 network.A balancing improvement was made to the loss function of YOLOv4 to overcome the imbalance problem of the defective *** results for both the single-and multi-category defect datasets show that the improved model can make good use of the features of the unlabeled *** accuracy of wind turbine blade defect detection also has a significant advantage over classical object detection algorithms,including faster R-CNN and DETR.

BACKGROUND Thymic carcinoid(TC)is a rare entity among anterior mediastinal *** are neuroendocrine carcinomas that constitute approximately 2%–5%of all thymic epithelial *** SUMMARY The study reported a rare TC with multiple bone metastases.A 77-year-old man presented with a 2-month history of lower back pain and weight loss of 5 *** resonance imaging scans revealed damage to the lumbar spine,sacrocaudal vertebrae and iliac crest,suggesting bone metastasis;computed tomography(CT)scan of the thorax showed a calcified anterior mediastinal mass;positron emission tomography-CT demonstrated multiple abnormal bone signals;and laboratory work-up showed no endocrine ***-needle aspiration biopsy revealed predominantly single small,round to oval cells with scant cytoplasm and some loose clusters,suggesting endocrine *** pathological diagnosis was atypical carcinoid,which tend to originate from the thymus and was classified as intermediate-highly *** patient underwent anlotinib-targeted ***(12 mg)was administered daily for 2 wk,after which the patient was allowed to rest for 21 ***-up CT after one year demonstrated that the tumor had shrunk by approximately 29%after *** has a long stable disease benefit of more than 2.5 *** These findings demonstrated that anlotinib is a promising treatment regimen for patients with TC and multiple bone metastases.

Interannual evolution of the chemical composition,sources and processes of PM_(2.5)in chengdu,China:Insights from observations in four winters

The air quality in China has improved significantly in the last decade and,correspondingly,the characteristics of PM_(2.5)have also *** studied the interannual variation of PM_(2.5)in chengdu,one of the most heavily polluted megacities in southwest China,during the most polluted season(winter).Our results show that the mass concentrations of PM_(2.5)decreased significantly year-by-year,from 195.8±91.0μg/m~3in winter 2016 to 96.1±39.3μg/m^(3)in winter *** mass concentrations of organic matter(OM),SO_()4^(2-),NH_(4)^(+)and NO_(3)^(-)decreased by 49.6%,57.1%,49.7% and 28.7%,*** differential reduction in the concentrations of chemical components increased the contributions from secondary organic carbon and NO_(3)^(-)and there was a larger contribution from mobile *** contribution of OM and NO_(3)^(-)not only increased with increasing levels of pollution,but also increased year-by-year at the same level of *** sources of PM_(2.5)were identified:combustion sources,vehicular emissions,dust and secondary *** aerosols made the highest contribution and increased year-by-year,from 40.6%in winter 2016 to 46.3% in winter *** contrast,the contribution from combustion sources decreased from 14.4% to 8.7%.Our results show the effectiveness of earlier pollution reduction policies and emphasizes that priority should be given to key pollutants(e.g.,OM and NO_(3)^(-))and sources(secondary aerosols and vehicular emissions)in future policies for the reduction of pollution in chengdu during the winter months.
