Changes in rheumatoid arthritis under ultrasound before and after sinomenine injection

Performance Evaluation for SDN Deployment: an Approach Based on Stochastic Network Calculus

The Open Flow implementations(SDNs) have been deployed increasingly on varieties of networks in research institutions as well as commercial institutions. To develop an Open Flow implementation, it is required to understand the performance of the network. A few benchmark tools(e.g., Cbench and OFlops) can be used to measure the network performance, while these tools take considerable time to simulate traffic behaviors and generate the required results,therefore extending the development time. In this paper, we present an analytical model, which is based on stochastic network calculus theory, for evaluating the performance of switch to *** previous studies show that stochastic network calculus can provide realistic emulation of real network traffic behaviors. Our model is evaluated by using both simulation tool and realistic *** results show the stochastic network calculus based analysis model can realistically measure the network performance of the end-to-end properties between controller and switch.

A QoS Based Reliable Routing Mechanism for Service Customization

5-hydroxytryptamine-mediated apnea caused by the habenular nucleus

5-hydroxytryptamine contributes to the control of activities of the dilator muscle in the upper respiratory tract, and is derived from the raphe nuclei, in which the habenular nucleus exerts a sustaJned inhibitory effect. In the present study, respiratory motion curve of the genJoglossus muscle and peripheral 5-hydroxytryptamine changes were observed following L-glutamate stimulation of the habenular nucleus of adult Wistar rats. Results showed that the rats had apnea and decreased plasma 5-hydroxytryptamine content after the neurons in habenular nucleus were excited. Genioglossus muscle electromyogram amplitude and integral were significantly reduced. The genioglossus myoelectric activity and respiratory motion curve were similar to obstructive sleep apnea syndrome, thus confirming that the habenular nucleus is the key nucleus involved in the pathogenesis of obstructive sleep apnea syndrome, and is the primary regulated center in the raphe nuclei. Stimulation of the habenular nucleus may suppress 5-hydroxytryptamine release and result in apnea, which is similar to obstructive sleep apnea syndrome.

Efficacy and safety of Huaiqihuang granule as adjuvant treatment for primary nephrotic syndrome in children: a meta-analysis and systematic review

Background Huaiqihuang(HQH)granule is a traditional Chinese herbal complex that has been used as an adjuvant treatment in clinics for the primary nephrotic syndrome(PNS)for many ***,the effectiveness and safety of HQH have not been systematically *** review aimed to evaluate the effectiveness and safety of HQH in paediatric patients with *** The following databases were searched from inception to Mar 2019:MEDLINE,Cochrane Library,EMBASE,CNKI,Wanfang Database,the Chinese Scientific Journal Database and the Chinese biomedical literature service *** the randomized controlled trials(RCTs)eligible for inclusion were *** primary outcomes were relapse,infection,remission and adverse *** secondary outcomes included serum immunoglobulin levels(IgA,IgG or IgM),T-lymphocyte subtype(CD3+,CD4+,CD8+,CD4+/CD8+),IL-10,TNF-α,TNF-γ,total cholesterol and time of proteinuria turning *** Fourteen RCTs(885 patients)were *** with HQH reduced the chance of relapse[relative risk(RR):0.47;95%CI:0.34,0.66;P<0.001]and infections(RR:0.47;95%Cl:0.35,0.62;P<0.001).No significant difference was found in adverse *** also increased the serum levels of IgA[weighted mean difference(WMD):0.40;95%Cl:0.20,0.60;P<0.001]and IgG(WMD:1.58;95%Cl:1.38-1.78;P<0.001),as well as CD4+[standard mean difference(SMD):0.90;95%Cl:0.12-1.68;P=0.02],CD3+(WMD:4.04;95% CI:3.27-4.82;P<0.001),and the CD4^(+)/CD8^(+)ratio(WMD:0.31;95% CI:0.21-0.41;P<0.001),but decreased the level of CD8+cells(WMD:-3.39;95% CI:-5.73-1.05;P=0.004).No statistically significant difference was found in IgM(WMD:0.05;95% CI:-0.13,0.24;P=0.57).Conclusions HQH could reduce the rate of relapse and the frequency of infection in children with *** apparent adverse effects were ***,the beneficial influence of HQH may act through *** multi-center,large-sample,high-quality studies are needed to confirm the effectiveness and safety of

From AlphaGo to ChatGPT,the field of AI has launched a series of remarkable achievements in recent ***,comparing,and summarizing these achievements at the paradigm level is important for future AI innovation,but has not received sufficient *** this paper,we give an overview and perspective on machine learning ***,we propose a paradigm taxonomy with three levels and seven dimensions from a knowledge ***,we give an overview on three basic and twelve extended learning paradigms,such as Ensemble Learning,Transfer Learning,etc.,with figures in unified *** further analyze three advanced paradigms,i.e.,AlphaGo,AlphaFold and ***,to enable more efficient and effective scientific discovery,we propose to build a new ecosystem that drives AI paradigm shifts through the decentralized science(DeSci)movement based on decentralized autonomous organization(DAO).To this end,we design the Hanoi framework,which integrates human factors,parallel intelligence based on a combination of artificial systems and the natural world,and the DAO to inspire AI innovations.
