Particle entrainment is an inevitable phenomenon in pipeline systems,especially during the development and extraction phases of oil and gas *** predicting the critical velocity for particle transport is a key focus for implementing effective sand control *** work presents a semi-supervised learning–deep hybrid kernel extreme learning machine(SSL-DHKELM)model for predicting the critical velocity,which integrates multiple machine learning theories including the deep learning approach,which is adept at advanced feature ***,the SSL framework enhances the model's capabilities when data availability is *** improved slime mould algorithm is also employed to optimize the model's *** proposed model has high accuracy on both the sample dataset and out-of-sample *** trained with only 10%of the data,the model's error still did not increase ***,this model achieves superior predictive accuracy compared to existing mechanistic models,demonstrating its impressive performance and robustness.

Cancer,a complex and multifactorial disease,presents a significant challenge to global *** significant advances in surgical,radiotherapeutic and immunological approaches,which have improved cancer treatment outcomes,drug therapy continues to serve as a key therapeutic ***,the clinical efficacy of drug therapy is often constrained by drug resistance and severe toxic side effects,and thus there remains a critical need to develop novel cancer *** promising strategy that has received widespread attention in recent years is drug repurposing:the identification of new applications for existing,clinically approved *** repurposing possesses several inherent advantages in the context of cancer treatment since repurposed drugs are typically cost-effective,proven to be safe,and can significantly expedite the drug development process due to their already established safety *** light of this,the present review offers a comprehensive overview of the various methods employed in drug repurposing,specifically focusing on the repurposing of drugs to treat *** describe the antitumor properties of candidate drugs,and discuss in detail how they target both the hallmarks of cancer in tumor cells and the surrounding tumor *** addition,we examine the innovative strategy of integrating drug repurposing with nanotechnology to enhance topical drug *** also emphasize the critical role that repurposed drugs can play when used as part of a combination therapy *** conclude,we outline the challenges associated with repurposing drugs and consider the future prospects of these repurposed drugs transitioning into clinical application.

Proppant transport within fractures is one of the most critical tasks in oil,gas and geothermal reservoir stimulation,as it largely determines the ultimate performance of the operating *** transport in rough fracture networks is still a relatively new area of research and the associated transport mechanisms are still *** this study,representative parameters of rough fracture surfaces formed by supercritical CO_(2) fracturing were used to generate a rough fracture network model based on a spectral synthesis *** fluid dynamics(CFD)coupled with the discrete element method(DEM)was used to study proppant transport in this rough fracture *** reveal the turning transport mechanism of proppants into branching fractures at the intersections of rough fracture networks,a comparison was made with the behavior within smooth fracture networks,and the effect of key pumping parameters on the proppant placement in a secondary fracture was *** results show that the transport behavior of proppant in rough fracture networks is very different from that of the one in the smooth fracture *** turning transport mechanisms of proppant into secondary fractures in rough fracture networks are gravity-driven sliding,high velocity fluid suspension,and fracture structure *** the same injection conditions,supercritical CO_(2)with high flow Reynolds number still has a weaker ability to transport proppant into secondary fractures than *** of the supercritical CO_(2)needs to be increased beyond a certain value to have a significant effect on proppant carrying,and under the temperature and pressure conditions of this paper,it needs to be increased more than 20 times(about 0.94 m Pa s).Increasing the injection velocity and decreasing the proppant concentration facilitates the entry of proppant into the branching fractures,which in turn results in a larger stimulated reservoir *** results help to understand the pro

Comprehensive Summary,The Pd-catalyzed dipolar cycloaddition represents a significant synthetic strategy for the construction of useful heterocyclic *** study developed the dipolar[4+2]and[6+2]cycloaddition reactions of benzo[d]isothiazole 1,1-dioxides(BDs)leading to the synthesis of BD-fused 1,3-oxazinane and 1,3-oxazocane derivatives,*** particular,the synthesis of BD-fused 1,3-oxazinanes demonstrated regio-and enantioselective characteristics,resulting in products with good yields,enantioselectivity and regioselectivity(if applicable).Furthermore,the[6+2]cycloaddition reaction developed in this work represented the first strategy for the synthesis of medium-sized ring compounds based on BDs.

Monitoring the dynamics of soil salinization is of great importance for agricultural *** study selected Yucheng County,a typical county on the huang-Huai-hai Plain(HHHP)of China,as the study area and evaluated the spatial and temporal variation of soil *** methods,consisting of principal component analysis(PCA)transformation,tasseled cap(TC)transformation,and optimal band combination(OBC),were used to extract information from an early Landsat multispectral scanner(MSS)image from 1984,and their advantages were *** addition,OBC was used on a thematic mapper(TM)image from *** iteratively self-organizing data analysis algorithm was used together with prior knowledge of likely classifications to interpret the MSS and TM images for data ***,a transfer matrix method was used to assess the spatial and temporal variability of soil salinization and analyze the driving factors of soil *** to PCA transformation and OBC,TC transformation was a more effective method for extracting soil salinization information from the MSS *** results indicate that a soil area of approximately 298 km^2was affected by salinity in 1984 in Yucheng County,of which 5.40%,11.96%,and 12.75%were classified as being subject to slight,moderate,and severe salinization,*** 2009,the saline area was reduced to only 146 km^2,of which 10.70%and 3.75%were characterized by slight to moderate salinization and no severe salinization,*** saline land decreased at an average rate of 6 km^2per *** decrease was probably a result of lower groundwater depth,increased organic fertilizer or crop straw in soil,changed land use type,and increased vegetation coverage.

BACKGROUND Melioidosis,an infectious disease caused by Burkholderia pseudomallei(***),occurs endemically in Southeast Asia and Northern Australia and is a serious opportunistic infection associated with a high mortality *** SUMMARY A 58-year-old woman presented with scattered erythema on the skin of her limbs,followed by fever and *** was isolated successively from the patient’s urine,blood,and *** resonance imaging showed abscess formation involving the right forehead and the right frontal ***,abscess resection and drainage were *** patient showed no signs of relapse after 4 months of follow-up visits *** We present here a unique case of multi-systemic melioidosis that occurs in nonendemic regions in a patient who had no recent travel ***,it is critical to enhance awareness of melioidosis in non-endemic regions.
