Release characteristics of arsenic from sediments and its source or sink competition with phosphorus:A case of a great lake with grass-algae alternation

The arsenic(As)release from sediments in great lakes is affected by various *** this study,the characteristics of As release fromsediments was investigated,and the As sources and sinks with the strengths in sediments from different areas(grass-type,algae-type,and grass-algae alternation areas)in great shallow lakes(Taihu Lake,China)were analyzed,and the influence of P competition in the process of As release was also *** results showed that changing trend of the values of equilibrium As concentration in sediments were consistent with the regional changes(0 to 28.12μg/L),and the sediments from algaetype areas had the higher *** sediments from western lake and northwest lake bay were a strong As and a weak P source,and the north lake bay had the opposite trend of these two *** P source competition with As from the sediments occurred in algae-type *** grass-type areas had strong As and P retention capacities,indicating a sink role of sediment with high As and P sorption *** degree of As and P saturation had similar trend in sediments,and the grass-type areas had the higher values,18.3%-21.4%and 15.31%-20.34%,*** analysis results showed that most of As release contribution was from the bottom(30-50 cm)sediments,and the surface(0-10 cm)sediments from algae-type areas contributed more to the overlying water than other region.

目的:分别以胶原锚定方法修饰的聚乳酸-聚羟基乙酸共聚物(PLGA)为组织工程软骨支架材料,以脱细胞骨基质为组织工程骨支架材料,将二者结合制备出结合良好的组织工程骨软骨双层支架,并观察结构特征,以评估其作为组织工程化骨软骨复合体支架材料的可行性。方法:实验于2006-02/2007-02在解放军总医院骨科研究所完成。①支架的制备:以犬新鲜松质骨为原料,制备脱细胞骨基质作为骨支架材料;将脱细胞骨基质浸于盛有PLGA溶液的模具中,采用固-液相分离法结合致孔剂溶出法制备出多孔的PLGA/脱细胞骨基质双层支架,然后对PLGA支架部分进行等离子体处理和Ⅰ型胶原锚定修饰。得到的新型组织工程骨软骨双层支架的上层为多孔PLGA,下层为脱细胞骨基质。②支架的特征观察:对支架行扫描电镜检测,并采用乙醇置换法测定PLGA层孔隙率,采用北京亚林公司提供的扫描电镜图像分析系统测定PLGA层支架的平均孔径。结果:扫描电镜显示双层支架的PLGA部分具有良好的孔隙贯通结构,孔径为(211±33)μm,孔隙率为(95.0±1.5)%;脱细胞骨基质骨支架部分具有天然骨的孔径和空隙率;PLGA材料渗入骨支架部分,双层支架结合良好。结论:等离子体处理后胶原锚定修饰的PLGA/脱细胞骨基质双层支架具有良好的结构和孔隙率,结合良好,可作为支架载体应用于组织工程骨软骨复合体的构建。

Tropomyosin receptor kinase B(TrkB)signaling plays a pivotal role in dendritic growth and dendritic spine formation to promote learning and *** activity-dependent release of brain-derived neurotrophic factor at synapses binds to pre-or postsynaptic TrkB resulting in the strengthening of synapses,reflected by long-term ***,the association of postsynaptic density protein-95 with TrkB enhances phospholipase Cγ-Ca^(2+)/calmodulin-dependent protein kinaseⅡand phosphatidylinositol 3-kinase-mechanistic target of rapamycin signaling required for long-term *** this review,we discuss TrkB-postsynaptic density protein-95 coupling as a promising strategy to magnify brain-derived neurotrophic factor signaling towards the development of novel therapeutics for specific neurological disorders.A reduction of TrkB signaling has been observed in neurodegenerative disorders,such as Alzheimer's disease and Huntington's disease,and enhancement of postsynaptic density protein-95 association with TrkB signaling could mitigate the observed deficiency of neuronal connectivity in schizophrenia and *** with brain-derived neurotrophic factor is problematic,due to poor pharmacokinetics,low brain penetration,and side effects resulting from activation of the p75 neurotrophin receptor or the truncated TrkB.T1 *** TrkB agonists and antibodies that activate TrkB are being intensively investigated,they cannot distinguish the multiple human TrkB splicing isoforms or cell type-specific *** TrkB–postsynaptic density protein-95 coupling provides an alternative approach to specifically boost TrkB signaling at localized synaptic sites versus global stimulation that risks many adverse side effects.

Existing traditional ocean vertical-mixing schemes are empirically developed without a thorough understanding of the physical processes involved,resulting in a discrepancy between the parameterization and forecast *** uncertainty in ocean-mixing parameterization is primarily responsible for the bias in ocean *** from deep-learning technology,we design the Adaptive Fully Connected Module with an Inception module as the baseline to minimize *** adaptively extracts the best features through fully connected layers with different widths,and better learns the nonlinear relationship between input variables and parameterization ***,to obtain more accurate results,we impose KPP(K-Profile Parameterization)and PP(Pacanowski–Philander)schemes as physical constraints to make the network parameterization process follow the basic physical laws more *** model data are calculated with human experience,lacking some unknown physical processes,which may differ from the actual data,we use a decade-long time record of hydrological and turbulence observations in the tropical Pacific Ocean as training *** physical constraints and a nonlinear activation function,our method catches its nonlinear change and better adapts to the oceanmixing parameterization *** use of physical constraints can improve the final results.

A 3D simulation using Computational Particle Fluid Dynamics(CPFD)methods was used to calculate coal combustion in a 75 t/h industrial-scale circulating fluidized bed(CFB)*** characteristics,gas-solid flow characteristics,and gaseous pollutant emissions of CFB boilers from combustion ignition to stable operation were systematically evaluated in this *** show that the temperature distribution is relatively uniform throughout the *** the combustion process unfolds within the boiler,the gas composition curve strikingly portrays the inverse correlation between CO_(2)and O_(2)*** the combustion reaction progresses,it becomes evident that the concentration of CO_(2)progressively increases,while the concentration of O_(2)concurrently *** inverse relationship underscores the fundamental combustion reaction,where carbon-based fuels react with oxygen to produce carbon dioxide and release ***,a comprehensive analysis has revealed that,from ignition to stable combustion,both nitric oxide(NO)and sulfur dioxide(SO_(2))emissions exhibit a declining *** reduction in pollutant generation is attributed to the improvement in combustion *** complete combustion leads to lower levels of unburned hydrocarbons,which are prone to NO ***,the sulfur content in the fuel is more efficiently oxidized to sulfur trioxide(SO_(3))or bound in sulfates,reducing SO_(2)*** steady state in the simulation,the SO_(2)mass flow rate varies significantly with the furnace height,gradually increasing from 0.07 kg·s^(-1)at 4 m at the bottom of the furnace to a peak of 0.078 kg·s^(-1)at 8 m in the center,and then decreasing to 0.06 kg·s^(-1)at 20m at the top of the furnace.

Shotcrete is one of the common solutions for shallow *** works by forming a protective layer with high strength and cementing the loose soil particles on the slope surface to prevent shallow ***,the solidification time of conventional cement paste is long when shotcrete is used to treat cohesionless soil *** idea of reinforcing slope with polyurethane solidified soil(i.e.,mixture of polyurethane and sand)was *** tests and finite element analysis were carried out to study the effectiveness of the proposed new method on the emergency treatment of cohesionless soil *** loading on the crest of the slope was applied step by step until landslide was triggered so as to test and compare the stability and bearing capacity of slope models with different *** simulated slope displacements were relatively close to the measured results,and the simulated slope deformation characteristics were in good agreement with the observed phenomena,which verifies the accuracy of the numerical *** the condition of surcharge loading on the crest of the slope,the unreinforced slope slid when the surcharge loading exceeded 30 k Pa,which presented a failure mode of local instability and collapse at the shallow layer of slope *** reinforced slope remained stable even when the surcharge loading reached 48 k *** displacement of the reinforced slope was reduced by more than 95%.Overall,this study verifies the effectiveness of polyurethane in the emergency treatment of cohesionless soil landslide and should have broad application prospects in the field of geological disasters concerning the safety of people's live.

In the scenario of a steam generator tube rupture accident in a lead-cooled fast reactor,secondary circuit subcooled water under high pressure is injected into an ordinary-pressure primary vessel,where a molten lead-based alloy(typically pure lead or lead-bismuth eutectic(LBE))is used as the *** clarify the pressure build-up characteristics under water-jet injection,this study conducted several experiments by injecting pressurized water into a molten LBE pool at Sun Yat-sen *** obtain a further understanding,several new experimental parameters were adopted,including the melt temperature,water subcooling,injection pressure,injection duration,and nozzle *** detailed analyses,it was found that the pressure and temperature during the water-melt interaction exhibited a consistent variation trend with our previous water-droplet injection mode LBE ***,the existence of a steam explosion was confirmed,which typically results in a much stronger pressure *** the non-explosion cases,increasing the injection pressure,melt-pool temperature,nozzle diameter,and water subcooling promoted pressure build-up in the melt ***,a limited enhancement effect was observed when increasing the injection duration,which may be owing to the continually rising pressure in the interaction vessel or the isolation effect of the generated steam *** of whether a steam explosion occurred,the calculated mechanical and kinetic energy conversion efficiencies of the melt were relatively small(not exceeding 4.1%and 0.7%,respectively).Moreover,the range of the conversion efficiency was similar to that of previous water-droplet experiments,although the upper limit of the jet mode was slightly lower.
