Quasi-2D weak lensing cosmological constraints using the PDF-SYM method

Cosmic shear statistics,such as the two-point correlation function(2PCF),can be evaluated with the PDF-SYM method instead of the traditional weighted-sum *** makes use of the full PDF information of the shear estimators,and does not require weightings on the shear estimators,which can in principle introduce additional systematic *** work presents our constraints on S8and?mfrom the shear-shear correlations using the PDF-SYM *** data we use is from the z-band images of the Dark Energy Camera Legacy Survey(DECa LS),which covers about 10000 deg2with more than 100 million *** shear catalog is produced by the Fourier Quad method,and well tested on the real data itself with the field-distortion *** main approach is called quasi-2D as we do use the photo-z information of each individual galaxy,but without dividing the galaxies into redshift *** mainly use galaxy pairs within the redshift interval between 0.2 and 1.3,and the angular range from 4.7 to 180 *** analysis yields S8=0.762±0.026 and?m=0.234±0.075,with the baryon effects and the intrinsic alignments *** results are robust against redshift *** check the consistency of our results by deriving the cosmological constraints from auto-correlations ofγ1andγ2separately,and find that they are consistent with each other,but the constraints from theγ1component are much weaker than that fromγ*** implies a much worse data quality ofγ1,which is likely due to additional shear uncertainties caused by CCD electronics(according to the survey strategy of DECa LS).We also perform a pure 2D analysis,which gives S8=0.81_(-0.04)^(+0.03)and?m=0.25_(-0.05)^(+0.06).Our findings demonstrate the potential of the PDF-SYM method for precision cosmology.

Irreversibility and transformation randomness of thermoelastic martensitic transformation in Ni–Ti alloys

In this work, the in situ optical observation was carried out in complete and incomplete transformation cycles of Ni–Ti alloys. In complete transformation cycles, initial martensite plates nucleate randomly in austenite. However, in a partial transformation cycle, the existing martensite plates have an influence on guiding the formation of subsequent martensite plates. And the randomness decreases with the decrease in transformation volume involved in the partial cycle. It is suggested that the randomness of transformations contributes to the introduction of defects, and the irreversibility associates with transformation randomness of martensite plates. For instance, a higher randomness in transformations could introduce more defects and more obvious irreversibility. On the other hand, defects generated in thermoelastic martensitic transformation are responsible for the hysteresis of transformations. Therefore, the randomness of transformations also contributes to the transformation hysteresis. These results could help further understanding on some martensitic transformation phenomena of shape memory alloys, such as the nonlinear and history-dependent characteristic.

目的研究游离股前外侧皮瓣(ALTFF)方案治疗对口腔颌面软组织缺损患者的修复效果及对血清唾液酸、可溶性白细胞介素-2受体(sIL-2R)水平的影响。方法回顾性选取2020年1月至2023年1月入西南医科大学附属简阳医院(简阳市人民医院)的90例口腔颌面部软组织缺损患者,根据治疗方式不同分为对照组(n=45)与研究组(n=45)。对照组予以游离上臂外侧皮瓣(LAFF)方案治疗,研究组予以ALTFF方案治疗。比较两组患者的皮瓣面积、皮瓣制备时间等围术期指标,血清唾液酸、sIL-2R水平,术后美观度,口腔功能恢复情况和术后并发症发生情况。结果研究组患者的皮瓣面积、血管蒂长度、动脉管径、静脉管径、皮瓣成功率分别为(65.53±10.15) cm^(2)、(10.15±0.77) cm、(2.03±0.11) mm、(3.21±0.31) mm、100.00%,均高于对照组[(42.12±10.33) cm^(2)、(5.89±0.83) cm、(1.46±0.15) mm、(2.01±0.14) mm、80.00%],差异均有统计学意义(P0.05)。术后30 d,两组患者的血清唾液酸、sIL-2R水平均低于术前,且研究组患者术后30 d血清唾液酸、sIL-2R水平分别为(0.56±0.11) mg/L、(1.86±0.52)μg/L,均低于对照组[(0.89±0.21) mg/L、(2.38±0.83)μg/L],差异均有统计学意义(P<0.05)。研究组患者随访6个月术后美观度各项评分均低于对照组,口腔功能恢复情况优于对照组,差异均有统计学意义(P<0.05)。研究组患者的并发症发生率为11.11%,低于对照组(40.00%),差异有统计学意义(P<0.05)。结论口腔颌面部软组织缺损修复中ALTFF与LAFF方案的皮瓣塑形率相当,ALTFF在皮瓣面积、成功率、美观度、口腔功能上优势更加显著,有利于改善血清指标,降低并发症发生风险。

Segregation of Niobium During Electroslag Remelting Process

Experiment was carried out after the process parameters were calculated by the model previously established. The relationship between interdendritic spacing and local solidification time （LST） mainly determined by process parameters was exposed. Furthermore, the extent of segregation was studied. The results indicate that LST and interdendritic spacing are the largest and the amount of Laves phase as a result of the niobium segregation is the highest in the center of the ingot, whereas the opposite results are obtained at the edge of ingot. The extent of element segregation and the amount of Laves phase can be reduced when appropriate parameters are used. Therefore, the duration of subsequent homogenization treatments for 718 is shortened and the alloy quality is improved.

Effect of haemodynamics on the risk of ischaemic stroke in patients with severe vertebral artery stenosis

Objectives Endovascular treatment strategies to optimise individualised care for patients with vertebral artery(VA)stenosis need to be *** study aimed to investigate the relationship between net VA flow volume(NVAFV)and the risk of posterior circulation infarction(PCI)in a high-risk patient *** We screened 1239 patients with extracranial VA stenosis,of whom 321 patients with severe VA V1 segment stenosis(≥70%)were enrolled in our *** restratified the patients based on NVAFV and contralateral VA stenosis grades to analyse the proportion of each PCI mechanism-large artery atherosclerosis and branch artery occlusive ***,we estimated the incidence of recurrent ischaemic stroke between groups with different NVAFV over a follow-up period of 2 *** NVAFV was lower in the PCI *** logistic regression analysis showed that NVAFV is an independent risk factor for PCI and that the OR for PCI for the lowest NVAFV(<112.8 mL/min)was 4.19(1.76 to 9.95,p=0.001).In patients with severe carotid artery disease,the OR for the lowest NVAFV was 14.03(3.18 to 61.92,p<0.001).The lower NVAFV group had a higher incidence of recurrent ischaemic stroke events than the higher NVAFV group(HR 2.978,95%CIs 1.414 to 6.272).Conclusion Our study demonstrated that NVAFV,as estimated by colour duplex ultrasonography,was associated with the incidence of PCI and subsequent ischaemic events and that a high-risk population could be identified for further posterior circulation revascularisation.

Control of magnetization plays an important role in the scientific and technological field of manipulating spin systems. In this work, we study the problem of manipulating nuclear magnetization in the spin-exchange optical pumping system, including accelerating the recovery of nuclear polarization and fixing it on a specific desired state. A real-time feedback control strategy is exploited here. We have also done some numerical simulations, with the results clearly demonstrating the effectiveness of our method, that the nuclear magnetization is able to be driven towards the equilibrium state at a much faster speed and also can be stabilized to a target state. We expect that our feedback control method can find applications in gyro experiments.

Novel high torque bearingless two-sided rotary ultrasonic motor

Applications are limited at present because the currently available ultrasonic motors (USMs) do not provide suffi-ciently high torque and power. The conventional travelling-wave USM needs the bearing to support, which required lubricant. To solve the above problem, a bearingless travelling-wave USM is designed. First, a novel structure of the two-sided USM consisting of a two-sided teeth stator and two disk-type rotors is designed. And the excitation principle of the two-sided travelling-wave USM is analyzed. Then, using ANSYS software, we set up the model of the stator to predict the excitation frequency and modal response of the stator. The shape of the vibration mode was obtained. Last, the load characteristics of the USM are measured using ex-perimental method. The maximum stall torque and the no-load speed were obtained. The results showed that the characteristics of the two-sided USM are better than those of the conventional one-sided USM.

Characteristics of benign lymphoadenosis of oral mucosa

AIM: To investigate the pathological characteristics and carcinogenesis mechanism of benign lymphoadenosis of oral mucosa (BLOM).METHODS: The expressions of Ki-67, CD34 and apoptosis were evaluated by immunohistochemical SP staining in 64 paraffin-embedded tissue samples. Of them, 9 were from BLOM with dysplasia, 15 from BLOM without dysplasia,15 from oral squamous cell carcinoma (OSCC), 15 from oral precancerosis, and 10 from normal tissues. Cell proliferation, apoptosis and angiogenesis of tissue samples were also ***: The expression of Ki-67 in BLOM with dysplasia,oral precancerosis and OSCC was significantly higher than in BLOM without dysplasia and normal mucosa. The microvascular density (MVD) in BLOM with and without dysplasia, oral precancerosis, and OSCC was significantly higher than in normal mucosa. Apoptosis in BLOM and oral precancerosis was significantly higher than in OSCC and normal ***: Benign lymphoadenosis of oral mucosa has potentialities of cancerization.
