Classical and quantum space-to-ground communications necessitate highly sensitive receivers capable of extracting information from modulated photons to extend the communication distance from near-earth orbits to deep space *** achieve gigabit data rates while mitigating strong background noise photons and beam drift in a highly attenuated free-space channel,a comprehensive design of a multi-functional detector is *** this study,we present an innovative compact multi-pixel superconducting nanowire single-photon detector array that integrates near-unity detection efficiency(91.6%),high photon counting rate(1.61 Gcps),large dynamic range for resolving different photon numbers(1-24),and four-quadrant position sensing function all within one ***,we have constructed a communication testbed to validate the advantages offered by such an *** 8-PPM(pulse position modulation)format communication experiments,we have achieved an impressive maximum data rate of 1.5 Gbps,demonstrating sensitivities surpassing previous benchmarks at respective *** incorporating photon number information into error correction codes,the receiver can tolerate maximum background noise levels equivalent to 0.8 photons/slot at a data rate of 120 Mbps—showcasing a great potential for daylight operation ***,preliminary beam tracking tests were conducted through open-loop scanning techniques,which revealed clear quantitative dependence indicating sensitivity variations based on beam *** on the device characterizations and communication results,we anticipate that this device architecture,along with its corresponding signal processing and coding techniques,will be applicable in future space-to-ground communication tasks.

Cooling Efficiency of Laminar Cooling System for Plate Mill

Heat transfer was researched from a perspective of the industry application. On the basis of the first law of thermodynamics, the cooling efficiency was deduced from the change of enthalpy inside hot plate. The relationship between the cooling efficiency and its influencing parameters was regressed from plenty of data collected from the worksite and discussed in detail. The temperature profiles resulting from the online model and the model modified by regressed formulas were presented and compared. The results indicated that the control accuracy of the modified model was increased obviously.

Self-nucleation of Patterned Polymer Thin Films Defined by Soft Lithography

The nucleation of crystals is often a determining step in the phase transition of materials,but it remains a challenge to control the density and specific location of nuclei *** we fabricated the isolated single crystals of uniform size with controlled number density and spatial distribution by self-nucleation of patterned dendritic *** lithography creates the periodic void space on the surface of poly(ethylene oxide)-b-poly(2-vinyl pyridine)(PEO-b-P2VP)block copolymer thin films and provides spatial redistribution of polymers,leading to the preferential nucleation and subsequent oriented growth of dendrites in the periodic arrays of imprinted *** morphology and thermal stability of the patterned crystals can be adjusted by tuning embossing conditions(e.g.,temperature and pressure).Furthermore,in the self-nucleation technique,the annealing temperature and heating rate are used as the feedback parameters to map the number density and spatial distribution of regrown single *** PEO-b-P2VP crystalline pattern can be used as a versatile template for large-area manufacturing of selective metal patterns for electronic devices and other applications.

The crosstalk between enteric nervous system and immune system in intestinal development,homeostasis and diseases

The gut is the largest digestive and absorptive organ,which is essential for induction of mucosal and systemic immune responses,and maintenance of metabolic-immune *** intestinal components contain the epithelium,stromal cells,immune cells,and enteric nervous system(ENS),as well as the outers,such as gut microbiota,metabolites,and *** dyshomeostasis of intestinal microenvironment induces abnormal intestinal development and functions,even colon diseases including dysplasia,inflammation and *** recent studies have identified that ENS plays a crucial role in maintaining the immune homeostasis of gastrointestinal(GI)*** crosstalk between ENS and immune cells,mainly macrophages,T cells,and innate lymphoid cells(ILCs),has been found to exert important regulatory roles in intestinal tissue programming,homeostasis,function,and *** this review,we mainly summarize the critical roles of the interactions between ENS and immune cells in intestinal homeostasis during intestinal development and diseases progression,to provide theoretical bases and ideas for the exploration of immunotherapy for gastrointestinal diseases with the ENS as potential novel targets.

Involvement of Oxidative Stress and Down-Regulation of Bcl-2 in Arachidonic Acid-Induced Apoptosis in HUVECs

Human umbilical vein endothelial cells （HU VECs） were treated with arachidonic acid （AA）. After 24 h exposure to AA, typical morphological changes of apoptosis were observed by Giemsa stain and transmission electron microscopy. The apoptotic ratio in HUVECs treated with 50μmol/L, 100μmol/L and 150μmol/L AA were （20.7±3.6）%, （38.6±4.3）% and （52.5±7.5） % respectively. Contrarily, low concentration of AA （425μmol/L） exerted no influence on cell viability by MTT assay. Intracellular malondialdehyde increased significantly in a dose-dependent manner upon AA treatment and for the reduced glutathione. the opposite tendency was found Western Blots show that apoplosis triggered by AA was associated with the down-regulation of Bcl-2 expression, but not with Bax and p53. Pretreatment with 50μmol/L α-tocopherol reduced AA-induced oxidative stress and apoptosis, also inhibited the dowwregulation of Bcl-2/Bax ratio. These results suggested that high concentration of free AA could induce apoptosis in HUVECs probably via oxidative stress and down-regulation of Bcl-2.

Resistivity and Hall effect measurements have been carried out on a micro-fabricated bridge of Bi2201 single crystal at low temperatures down to 0.4 K under high magnetic *** superconductivity is crashed by a high magnetic field,the recovered "normal state" resistivity still shows a linear temperature dependence in the low temperature *** with the effective mass and the charge carrier density,we get a linear scattering rate 1/τ=αkBT/h with 0.77 <α <1.16,which gives a strong evidence of the Planckian ***,our results reveal a new type of temperature dependence of the upper critical field,H_(c2)(T)=H*■,which is totally different from the expectation of the Ginzburg-Landau theory,and suggests the existence of uncondensed Cooper pairs above H_(c2)(T) line.

Tl-based superconducting devices have been drawn much attention for their high transition temperature(T_c), which allow the high temperature superconductors(HTS) devices to operate at temperature near 100 K. The realization of Tlbased devices will promote the research and application of HTS devices. In this work, we present transport properties of Tl_(2) Ba_(2) CaCu_(2) O_(8)(Tl-2212) microbridges across a low-angle step on LaAlO_(3)(LAO) substrate. We experimentally demonstrate intrinsic Josephson effects(IJEs) in Tl-2212 films by tailoring the geometry, i.e., reducing the width of the microbridges. In the case of a 1 μm width microbridge, in addition to the observation of voltage branches and remarkable hysteresis on the current–voltage(I–V) characteristics, the temperature dependence of differential resistance shows a finite resistance above 60 K when the bias current is below the critical current. For comparison, the wider microbridges are also investigated, exhibiting a highly critical current but do not showing obvious IJEs.

Genome-wide identification and comparative analysis of lipocalin families in Lepidoptera with an emphasis on Bombyx mori

Lipocalins exhibit functional diversity,including roles in retinol transport,invertebrate cryptic coloration,and stress ***,genome-wide identification and characterization of lipocalin in the insect lineage have not been thoroughly ***,we found that a lineage-specific expansion of the lipocalin genes in Lepidoptera occurred in large part due to tandem duplication events and several lipocalin genes involving insect coloration were expanded more via tandem duplication in butterflies.A comparative analysis of conserved motifs showed both conservation and divergence of lepidopteran lipocalin family protein structures during *** observe dynamic changes in tissue expression preference of paralogs in Bombyx mori,suggesting differential contribution of paralogs to specific organ functions during *** localization experiments revealed that lipocalins localize to the cytoplasm,nuclear membrane,or nucleus in BmN ***,several lipocalin genes exhibited divergent responses to abiotic and biotic stresses,and 1 lipocalin gene was upregulated by 30o fold in *** results suggest that lipocalins act as signaling components in defense responses by mediating crosstalk between abiotic and biotic stress *** study deepens our understanding of the comprehensive characteristics of lipocalins in insects.
