Integrated multi-omics analysis reveals liver metabolic reprogramming by fish iridovirus and antiviral function of alpha-linolenic acid

Iridovirus poses a substantial threat to global aquaculture due to its high mortality rate;however,the molecular mechanisms underpinning its pathogenesis are not well ***,a multi-omics approach was applied to groupers infected with Singapore grouper iridovirus(SGIV),focusing on the roles of key *** showed that SGIV induced obvious histopathological damage and changes in metabolic enzymes within the ***,SGIV significantly reduced the contents of lipid droplets,triglycerides,cholesterol,and *** analysis indicated that the altered metabolites were enriched in 19 pathways,with a notable down-regulation of lipid metabolites such as glycerophosphates and alpha-linolenic acid(ALA),consistent with disturbed lipid homeostasis in the *** of transcriptomic and metabolomic data revealed that the top enriched pathways were related to cell growth and death and nucleotide,carbohydrate,amino acid,and lipid metabolism,supporting the conclusion that SGIV infection induced liver metabolic *** integrative transcriptomic and proteomic analysis indicated that SGIV infection activated crucial molecular events in a phagosome-immune depression-metabolism dysregulation-necrosis signaling *** note,integrative multi-omics analysis demonstrated the consumption of ALA and linoleic acid(LA)metabolites,and the accumulation of L-glutamic acid(GA),accompanied by alterations in immune,inflammation,and cell death-related *** experimental data showed that ALA,but not GA,suppressed SGIV replication by activating antioxidant and anti-inflammatory responses in the ***,these findings provide a comprehensive resource for understanding host response dynamics during fish iridovirus infection and highlight the antiviral potential of ALA in the prevention and treatment of iridoviral diseases.

Because of their economy and applicability,high-power thyristor devices are widely used in the power supply systems for large fusion *** high-dose neutrons produced by deuterium–tritium(D–T)fusion reactions are irradiated on a thyristor device for a long time,the electrical characteristics of the device change,which may eventually cause irreversible *** this study,with the thyristor switch of the commutation circuit in the quench protection system(QPS)of a fusion device as the study object,the relationship between the internal physical structure and external electrical parameters of the irradiated thyristor is ***,a series of targeted thyristor physical simulations and neutron irradiation experiments are conducted to verify the accuracy of the theoretical *** addition,the effect of irradiated thyristor electrical characteristic changes on the entire QPS is studied by accurate simulation,providing valuable guidelines for the maintenance and renovation of the QPS.

Correlation between Surface Area Ratio of Medial to Lateral Tibial Plateau and Knee Alignment in Adults

Expression analysis of GSK-3β in diapause pupal brains in the cotton bollworm, Helicoverpa armigera

Diapause is an adaptive response to adverse environmental conditions, but the molecular mechanisms are unclear. Some signaling molecules have been identified in the regulation of diapause. GSK-3β is an important signaling protein involved in sev- eral signaling pathways. In this study, GSK-3β from the cotton bollworm, Helicoverpa armigera, was cloned using reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction and rapid am- plification of complementary DNA （cDNA） ends techniques. Sequence analysis showed that the full-length cDNA was 1447 bp containing a 292 bp 5＇-untranslated region （UTR）, a 162 bp 3＇-UTR and a 993 bp open reading frame （ORF）. The deduced Har-GSK-3β pro- tein has high identity to other known GSK-3β, as determined by Basic Local Alignment Search Tool analysis. Developmental expression of total GSK-3/3 and p-GSK-3β （Ser9） in diapause and non-diapanse pupal brains was investigated by Western blotting. Results indicated that the activity of GSK-3β is down-regulated in diapause pupal brains, which is further confirmed by Western blotting after diapause break. These finding suggest that the down-regulation of Har-GSK-3β activity may be important for pupal diapause.

Identifying the risk factors for pancreatic fistula after laparoscopic pancreaticoduodenectomy in patients with pancreatic cancer

Aldehyde oxidase mediated enantioselective metabolic health risk of dinotefuran

A facile Tf OH-catalyzed oxidative cyclization of allyl compounds and isocyanide has been developed with the assistance of DDQ, where isocyanide is used as the crucial "N" and "CN" sources. Highly functionalized 2-cyanopyrroles are constructed efficiently through a new formal [3 + 2] mode, demonstrating diverse reactivity and synthetic utility in organic chemistry. 2-Cyanopyrrole is converted into a nucleobase analogue of Remdesivir and 5H-pyrrolo[2,1-a]isoindole through a three-step or a two-step sequence, respectively. This protocol features broad substrate scope, operational simplicity and good functional group tolerance.
