Coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19)is caused by infection of the coronavirus severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2(SARS-CoV-2)with typical respiratory ***-CoV-2 invades not only the respiratory system,but also other organs expressing the cell surface receptor angiotensin converting enzyme *** particular,the digestive system is a susceptible target of *** symptoms of COVID-19 include anorexia,nausea,vomiting,diarrhea,abdominal pain,and liver *** with digestive damage have a greater chance of progressing to severe or critical illness,a poorer prognosis,and a higher risk of *** paper aims to summarize the digestive system symptoms of COVID-19 and discuss fecal-oral contagion of *** also describes the characteristics of inflammatory bowel disease patients with SARSCoV-2 infection and discusses precautions for preventing SARS-CoV-2 infection during gastrointestinal endoscopy *** attention to digestive system abnormalities and gastrointestinal symptoms of COVID-19 patients may aid health care providers in the process of clinical diagnosis,treatment,and epidemic prevention and control.

Aeroengine thrust estimation and embedded verification based on improved temporal convolutional network

Thrust estimation is a significant part of aeroengine thrust control *** traditional estimation methods are either low in accuracy or large in *** further improve the estimation effect,a thrust estimator based on Multi-layer Residual Temporal Convolutional Network(M-RTCN)is *** solve the problem of dead Rectified Linear Unit(ReLU),the proposed method uses the Gaussian Error Linear Unit(GELU)activation function instead of ReLU in residual *** the overall architecture of the multi-layer convolutional network is adjusted by using residual connections,so that the network thrust estimation effect and memory consumption are further ***,the comparison with seven other methods shows that the proposed method has the advantages of higher estimation accuracy and faster convergence ***,six neural network models are deployed in the embedded controller of the micro-turbojet *** Hardware-in-the-Loop(HIL)testing results demonstrate the superiority of M-RTCN in terms of estimation accuracy,memory occupation and running ***,an ignition verification is conducted to confirm the expected thrust estimation and real-time performance.

Five-year analysis of isolated pathogens and antibiotic resistance of ocular infections from two large tertiary comprehensive hospitals in east China

AIM:To analyze the spectrum of isolated pathogens and antibiotic resistance for ocular infections within 5y at two tertiary hospitals in east ***:Ocular specimen data were collected from January 2019 to October *** pathogen spectrum and positive culture rate for different infection location,such as keratitis,endophthalmitis,and periocular infections,along with antibiotic resistance were ***:We included 2727 specimens,including 827(30.33%)positive cultures.A total of 871 strains were isolated,530(60.85%)bacterial and 341(39.15%)fungal strains were ***-positive cocci(GPC)were the most common ocular *** most common bacterial isolates were Staphylococcus epidermidis(25.03%),Staphylococcus aureus(7.46%),Streptococcus pneumoniae(4.59%),Corynebacterium macginleyi(3.44%),and Pseudomonas aeruginosa(3.33%).The most common fungal genera were Fusarium spp.(12.74%),Aspergillus spp.(6.54%),and Scedosporium spp.(5.74%).Staphylococcus epidermidis strains showed more than 50%resistance to *** pneumoniae and Corynebacterium macginleyi showed more than 90%resistance to *** percentage of bacteria showing multidrug resistance(MDR)significantly decreased(χ^(2)=17.44,P=0.002).CONCLUSION:GPC are the most common ocular *** macginleyi,as the fourth common bacterium,may currently be the local microbiological feature of east *** *** the most common *** than 50%of the GPC are resistant to fluoroquinolones,penicillins,and ***,the proportion of MDR strains has been reduced over time.

Mechanism of local solidification time variations with melt rate during vacuum arc remelting process of 8Cr4Mo4V high-strength steel

A 2D axisymmetric numerical model was established to investigate the variations of molten pool with different melt rates during the vacuum arc remelting of 8Cr4Mo4V high-strength steel,and the ingot growth was simulated by dynamic mesh *** results show that as the ingot grows,the molten pool profile changes from shallow and flat to V-shaped,and both the molten pool depth and the mushy width ***,the variation of both the molten pool shape and the mushy width melt rate is clarified by the thermal equilibrium *** melt rate increases,both the molten pool depth and the mushy width *** is caused by the increment in sensible heat stored in the ingot due to the limitation of the cooling capacity of the *** nonlinear increment in sensible heat leads to a nonlinear increase in the mushy *** addition,as melt rate increases,the local solidification time(LST)of ingot decreases obviously at first and then *** melt rate is controlled in a suitable range,LST is the lowest and the secondary dendrite arm spacing of the ingot is the smallest,which can effectively improve the compactness degree of 8Cr4Mo4V high-strength steel.

A deep multimodal fusion and multitasking trajectory prediction model for typhoon trajectory prediction to reduce flight scheduling cancellation

Natural events have had a significant impact on overall flight activity,and the aviation industry plays a vital role in helping society cope with the impact of these *** one of the most impactful weather typhoon seasons appears and continues,airlines operating in threatened areas and passengers having travel plans during this time period will pay close attention to the development of tropical *** paper proposes a deep multimodal fusion and multitasking trajectory prediction model that can improve the reliability of typhoon trajectory prediction and reduce the quantity of flight scheduling *** deep multimodal fusion module is formed by deep fusion of the feature output by multiple submodal fusion modules,and the multitask generation module uses longitude and latitude as two related tasks for simultaneous *** more dependable data accuracy,problems can be analysed rapidly and more efficiently,enabling better decision-making with a proactive versus reactive *** multiple modalities coexist,features can be extracted from them simultaneously to supplement each other’s *** actual case study,the typhoon Lichma that swept China in 2019,has demonstrated that the algorithm can effectively reduce the number of unnecessary flight cancellations compared to existing flight scheduling and assist the new generation of flight scheduling systems under extreme weather.

In this work,the microstructure and mechanical properties of large cross-sectioned Mg-9Gd-3Y-1.2Zn-0.5Zr(VWZ931)samples produced by the small extrusion ratio has been *** as-extruded VWZ931 sample with diameter of~30 mm can exhibit the high yield strength(YS)of 339 MPa,ultimate tensile strength(UTS)of 387 MPa and elongation of 8.2%,*** peak-aged,the YS and UTS of the Mg samples were significantly increased to 435 MPa and 467 *** small extrusion ratio leads to the low fraction of dynamic recrystallized(DRX)grains in VWZ931 sample,and the texture hardening effect can be fully utilized to achieve high *** combined effect of precipitation strengthening due to the long-period stacking ordered phases and theβ′phase,grain boundary strengthening due to the fine DRX grains,heterogeneous deformation-induced strengthening caused by bimodal microstructure,can together contribute to the high strength of present Mg *** findings can shed light on designing other large-sized Mg wrought alloys with high mechanical performance.

A modified stochastic finite-fault method for estimating strong ground motion:Validation and application

We developed a modified stochastic finite-fault method for estimating strong ground *** adjustment to the dynamic corner frequency was introduced,which accounted for the effect of the location of the subfault relative to the hypocenter and rupture propagation direction,to account for the influence of the rupture propagation direction on the subfault dynamic corner *** comparing the peak ground acceleration(PGA),pseudo-absolute response spectra acceleration(PSA,damping ratio of 5%),and duration,the results of the modified and existing methods were compared,demonstrating that our proposed adjustment to the dynamic corner frequency can accurately reflect the rupture directivity *** applied our modified method to simulate near-field strong motions within 150 km of the 2008 MW7.9 Wenchuan earthquake *** modified method performed well over a broad period range,particularly at 0.04-4 *** total deviations of the stochastic finite-fault method(EXSIM)and the modified EXSIM were 0.1676 and 0.1494,*** modified method can effectively account for the influence of the rupture propagation direction and provide more realistic ground motion estimations for earthquake disaster mitigation.

Garnet is a primary mineral in skarn deposits and plays a significant role in recording copious mineralization and metallogenic *** study systematically investigates the geochemistry and geochronology of garnet and zircon in the Dafang Au-Pb-Zn-Ag deposit,which represents prominent gold mineralization in southern Hunan,*** samples with distinct zoning patterns and compositional variations were identified using various analytical techniques,including Backscattered Electron(BSE)imaging,Cathodoluminescence(CL)response,textural characterization,and analysis of rare-earth elements(REE),major contents,and trace element *** garnet was dated U-Pb dating,which yielded a lower intercept age of 161.06±1.93 *** age is older than the underlying granodiorite porphyry,which has a concordia age of 155.13±0.95 Ma determined by zircon U-Pb *** results suggest that the gold mineralization may be related to the concealed *** groups of garnet changed from depleted Al garnet to enriched Al garnet,and the rare earth element(REE)patterns of these groups were converted from light REE(LREE)-enriched and heavy REE(HREE)-depleted with positive europium(Eu)anomalies to medium REE(MREE)-enriched from core to rim *** different REE patterns of garnet in various zones may be attributed to changes in the fluid environment and late superposition *** development of distal skarn in the southern Hunan could be a significant indicator for identifying gold mineralization.
