Pregnancy outcomes of the first thawing cycle in"freeze-all"strategy of infertility patients with fever during oocyte recruitment:a matched-pair study

Background:It is currently unknown whether patients with a fever after controlled ovulation during egg retrieval could increase the risk of pelvic infection or not,and fever itself may affect endometrial receptivity or embryo quality with poor pregnancy outcomes.The aim of this study was to analyze the outcomes of patients with fever during oocyte retrieval after the first frozen-thawed embryo transfer(FET)cycle.Methods:This was a 1:3 retrospective paired study matched for age.In this study,58 infertility patients(Group 1)had a fever during the control ovulation,and the time of the oocyte retrieval was within 72 hours,they underwent ovum pick up and whole embryo freezing("freeze-all"strategy).The control subjects(Group 2)are 174 patients matched for age who underwent whole embryo freezing for other reasons.The baseline characteristics,clinical data of ovarian stimulation,and outcomes,such as the clinical pregnancy rate,ongoing clinical pregnancy rate were compared between the two groups in the subsequent FET cycle.Results:All patients had no pelvic inflammatory disease after oocyte retrieval.Anti-Mullerian hormone(AMH)levels(4.2 vs.2.2,Plization rate were lower in group 1(Plinical pregnancy rate,early spontaneous rate,ectopic pregnancy rate,and ongoing pregnancy rate were all not significantly different.Further regression analyses showed that the clinical pregnancy rate and ongoing pregnancy rate were also not significantly different.Conclusions:Transvaginal ultrasound-guided follicular puncture for oocyte retrieval is a safe and minimally invasive method for patients with fever.Moreover,the fever had almost no effect on embryo quality.

Exploring pyrolysis process is an efficient way to study the relationship between molecular level of the precursor structure and electrocatalytic functional materials in practice.Here,the unique semi-enclosed sector structure of Salophen ligands with highly symmetric N,N,0,0 mode was introduced to construct binuclear Co complex[Co2(salophen)(CI)2(C2H3N)](compound 1),which provides pre-liminary theoretical basis for the efficient coreshell structure electrocatalysts obtained by pyrolysis regulation.Moreover,we adopted TG-MS to real-time track the pyrolysis process from precursors of binuclear Co complexes with Salophen ligand to efficient catalytic materials with core-shell nano structures.As expected,the 1-600 sample achieves ultra-low overpote ntial of 256 mV at 10 mA·cm^(-2) and high catalytic stability within 10 h in 1 mol/L KOH solution.This work highlights salophen-ligated complex as excellent precursor material system for the an alysis of pyrolysis evoluti on process,and provides an opport unity for targeted preparati on of efficie nt oxy-gen evoluti on reacti on(OER)nano catalysts.

Considering the large diameter effect of piles,the influence of different pile-soil analysis methods on the design of monopile foundations for offshore wind turbines has become an urgent problem to be solved.Three different pile-soil models were used to study a large 10 MW monopile wind turbine.By modeling the three models in the SACS software,this paper analyzed the motion response of the overall structure under the conditions of wind and waves.According to the given working conditions,this paper concludes that under the condition of independent wind,the average value of the tower top x-displacement of the rigid connection method is the smalle st,and the standard deviation is the smallest under the condition of independent wave.The results obtained by the p-y curve method are the most conservative.

Microstructure Evolution and Recrystallization Behavior of Friction Stir Welded Thick Al-Mg-Zn-Cu alloys:Influence of Pin Centerline Deviation

Four tools with different pin centerline deviations were fabricated to friction stir weld(FSW)thick plates of Al-Mg-Zn-Cu alloys.The results show that,compared with the pin without pin centerline deviation,the applying of pin centerline deviation is favorable to improve the flowability of plastic material,enlarging the size of nugget zone,refining the grains and reprecipitated phase particles,enhancing the degrees of dynamic recrystallization and quantity of high angle grain boundaries owing to higher temperature and bigger eccentric force,resulting in the increase of strain hardening.Especially for the used pin with a centerline deviation of 0.2 mm,the highest average hardness and best metallurgical properties of thick FSW joints are produced,and which are consistent with the microstructure evolution and recrystallization behavior.Moreover,the fracture mode of the joints produced by the pins with centerline deviation from 0 mm to 0.3 mm changes gradually from a brittle fracture in the nugget zone(NZ)to a ductile failure in the HAZ.

Formation of coherent BCC/B2 microstructure and mechanical properties of Al-Ti-Zr-Nb-Ta-Cr/Mo light-weight refractory high-entropy alloys

The present work investigated the formation of coherent body-centered-cubic(BCC)/B2 microstructure in Al-Ti-Zr-Nb-Ta-Cr/Mo refractory high-entropy alloy system,in which three alloys with the composition of Al_(2)Ti_(6) Zr_(2)Nb_(3)Ta_(2)(Cr/Mo)_(1)were designed.These as-cast alloy ingots were homogenized at 1573 K for 2 h and then aged at different temperatures for 24 h.It is found that the BCC/B2 coherent microstructure with cuboidal BCC nanoprecipitates into the B2 matrix would be formed in873 K-aged Al_(2)Ti_(6) Zr_(2)Nb_(3)Ta_(2)Cr_(0.5)Mo_(0.5)alloy with half Cr and half Mo,which is ascribed to a moderate lattice misfit(ε=0.94%)between BCC and B2 phases.It is due to the special coherent microstructure that results in a prominent mechanical property with the highest compressive yield strength(σ_(YS)=1314 MPa)and good plasticity among these alloys,while coarse Cr2 Ti and Zr_(5)Al_(3)particles are existed in 873 K-aged alloy with Cr1.After 1073 K aging,all these alloys with Cr_(1),Cr_(0.5)Mo_(0.5)and Mo_(1)consist of BCC,B2 and Zr_(5)Al_(3),in which BCC/B2 coherent microstructure is destabilized.The strengthening mechanism of BCC/B2 coherent microstructure in 873 K-aged alloy with Cr_(0.5)Mo_(0.5)was also discussed.

Numerical simulation of interior ballistic process of railgun based on the multi-field coupled model

Railgun launcher design relies on appropriate models. A multi-field coupled model of railgun launcher was presented in this paper. The 3D transient multi-field was composed of electromagnetic field, thermal field and structural field. The magnetic diffusion equations were solved by a finite-element boundary-element coupling method. The thermal diffusion equations and structural equations were solved by a finite element method. A coupled calculation was achieved by the transfer data from the electromagnetic field to the thermal and structural fields. Some characteristics of railgun shot, such as velocity skin effect, melt-wave erosion and magnetic sawing, which are generated under the condition of large-current and high-speed sliding electrical contact, were demonstrated by numerical simulation.

Circulating exosomal lncRNA contributes to the pathogenesis of spinal cord injury in rats

Exosome-derived long non-coding RNAs(lncRNAs)are extensively engaged in recovery and repair of the injured spinal cord,through different mechanisms.However,to date no study has systematically evaluated the differentially expressed lncRNAs involved in the development of spinal cord injury.Thus,the aim of this study was to identify key circulating exosome-derived lncRNAs in a rat model of spinal cord injury and investigate their potential actions.To this end,we established a rat model of spinal cord hemisection.Circulating exosomes were extracted from blood samples from spinal cord injury and control(sham)rats and further identified through Western blotting and electron microscopy.RNA was isolated from the exosomes and sequenced.The enrichment analysis demonstrated that there were distinctively different lncRNA and mRNA expression patterns between the two groups.Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes(KEGG)pathway analysis and Gene Ontology(GO)functional analysis were performed to determine the possible involvements of upregulated and downregulated lncRNAs in various pathways and different biological processes,as well as their cellular locations and molecular functions.Furthermore,quantitative reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction showed that the expression of five lncRNAs––ENSRN0T00000067908,XR_590093,XR_591455,XR_360081,and XR_346933––was increased,whereas the expression of XR_351404,XR_591426,XR_353833,XR_590076,and XR_590719 was decreased.Of note,these 10 lncRNAs were at the center of the lncRNA-miRNA-mRNA coexpression network,which also included 198 mRNAs and 41 miRNAs.Taken together,our findings show that several circulating exosomal lncRNAs are differentially expressed after spinal cord injury,suggesting that they may be involved in spinal cord injury pathology and pathogenesis.These lncRNAs could potentially serve as targets for the clinical diagnosis and treatment of spinal cord injury.

Perovskite solar cells(PSCs)are promising next-generation photovoltaics due to their unique optoelectronic properties and rapid rise in power conversion efficiency.However,the instability of perovskite materials and devices is a serious obstacle hindering technology commercialization.The quality of perovskite films,which is an important prerequisite for long-term stable PSCs,is determined by the quality of the precursor solution and the post-deposition treatment performed after perovskite formation.Herein,we review the origin of instability of solution-processed PSCs from the perspectives of the precursor solutions and the perovskite films.In addition,we summarize the recent strategies for improving the stability of the perovskite films.Finally,we pinpoint possible approaches to further advance their long-term stability.

Reducing phosphorylation of nitrate reductase improves nitrate assimilation in rice

Nitrate reductase(NR) is an important enzyme for nitrate assimilation in plants, and post-translational phosphorylation regulates NR activity. To evaluate the impact of the dephosphorylation of nitrate reductase 1(NIA1) protein on NR activity,nitrogen metabolism and plant growth, NIA1 phosphorylation site directed mutant lines(S532 D and S532 A) and an OsNia1 over-expression line(OE) were constructed, and the phenotype, NIA1 protein and its phosphorylation level, NR activity,nitrate metabolism and reactive oxygen metabolism of the transgenic lines were analysed. Exogenous NIA1 protein was not phosphorylated in S532 D and S532 A mutant lines, and their NR activities, activity states of NR and assimilation efficiencies of NO3–-N were higher than those in Kitaake(WT) and OE. The changes in these physiological and biochemical indexes in the OE line were less than in S532 D and S532 A compared to WT. These results suggest that the removal of transcriptional level control had little effect on nitrogen metabolism, but the removal of post-translational modification had a profound effect on it. With the removal of NIA1 phosphorylation and the improvement in the nitrate assimilation efficiency, the plant height and chlorophyll content of S532 D and S532 A decreased and the hydrogen peroxide and malondialdehyde contents of rice seedlings increased, which may be related to the excessive accumulation of nitrite as an intermediate metabolite. These results indicated that the phosphorylation of NR may be a self-protection mechanism of rice. The reduced phosphorylation level of nitrate reductase improved the assimilation of nitrate, and the increased phosphorylation level reduced the accumulation of nitrite and prevented the toxic effects of reactive oxygen species in rice.
