AIM:To investigate the expression of insulin-like growth factor-1(IGF-1)/insulin-like growth factor-1 receptor(IGF-1R)in colorectal cancer(CRC)tissues and to analyze their correlation with lymphangiogenesis and lymphatic ***:Immunohistochemistry was used to evaluate IGF-1 and IGF-1R expression and lymphatic vessel density(LVD)in 40 CRC *** correlation between IGF-1/IGF-1R and LVD was *** of IGF-1 on migration and invasion of CRC cells were examined using transwell chamber assays.A LoVo cell xenograft model was established to further detect the role of IGF-1 in CRC lymphangiogenesis in vivo. RESULTS:Elevated IGF-1 and IGF-1R expression in CRC tissues was correlated with lymph node metastasis(r=0.715 and 0.569,respectively,P<0.05)and tumor TNM stage(r=0.731 and 0.609,P<0.05).A higher LVD was also found in CRC tissues and was correlated with lymphatic metastasis(r=0.405,P<0.05).A positive correlation was found between LVD and IGF-1R expression(r=0.437,P<0.05).Transwell assays revealed that IGF-1 increased the migration and invasion of CRC *** vivo mouse studies showed that IGF-1 also increased LVD in LoVo cell ***:IGF-1/IGF-1R signaling induces tumorassociated lymphangiogenesis and contributes to lymphatic metastasis of CRC.

An AIGaN-based back-illuminated ultraviolet p-i-n detector is designed and its performance is analysed both simulately and experimentally. The width of p- and i-regions has been optimized to the best theoretic values. It is indicated that the changing of responsivity with increase of bias can not be attributed to the expansion of depletion layer as it is believed, but to two reasons： 1） the effect of GaN/AlGaN heterojunction barrier to block the electrons decreases with higher bias and 2） the recombination rate of excess carriers decreases due to the building up of an electric field in depletion region. At zero bias, the simulated responsivity reaches its maximum of 0.12 A/W with quantum efficiency of 55.1%. The measured peak responsivity is more than 0.09 A/W with quantum efficiency greater than 41.6%. The experimental data are almost consistent with the results of the simulation.

Antimony smelting activities damage the soil and vegetation surroundings while generating economic ***,no standardizedmethods are available to diagnose the extent of soil degradation at antimony smelting *** study developed a standardized framework for assessing soil quality by consideringmicrobial-induced resilience and heavymetal contamination at Xikuangshan antimony smelting *** soil resilience index(SRI)and soil contamination index(SCI)were calculated byMinimum Data Set and geo-accumulation model,*** standardized by a multi-criteria quantitative procedure of modified Nemerow’s pollution index(NPI),the integrated assessment of soil quality index(SQI),which is the minimumof SRINPI and SCINPI,was *** results showed that Sb and As were the prominent metal(loid)pollutants,and significant correlations between SQI and SRI indicated that the poor soil quality was mainly caused by the low level of soil *** primary limiting factors of SRI were Fungi in high andmiddle contaminated areas,and Skermanella in low contaminated area,suggesting that the weak soil resilience was caused by low specific microbial *** regulation and phytoremediation are greatly required to improve the soil quality at antimony smelting sites from the perspectives of pollution control and resilience *** study improves our understanding of ecological effects of antimony smelting sites and provides a theoretical basis for ecological restoration and sustainable development of mining areas.

Herein,a first-principles investigation was innovatively conducted to research the surface oxidation of ZnS-like sphalerite in the absence and presence of H_(2)O .The findings showed that single O_(2) was preferred to be dissociated adsorption on sphalerite surface by generating SAO and Zn AO bonds,and the S atom on the surface was the most energy-supported site for O_(2) adsorption,on which a≡Zn-O-S-O-Zn≡structure will be ***,dissociated adsorption of single H_(2)O will not *** was preferred to be adsorbed on the top Zn atom on sphalerite surface in molecular form through Zn-O ***,sphalerite oxidation can occur as if O_(2) was present regardless of the presence of H_(2)O ,and when H_(2)O and O_(2) coexisted,the formation of sulfur oxide(SO_(2) )needed a lower energy barrier and it was easier to form on sphalerite surface than that only O_(2) *** the absence of H_(2)O ,when SO_(2) was generated,further oxidation of which would form neutral zinc *** the presence of H_(2)O ,the formation of SO_(2) on sphalerite surface was easier and the rate of further oxidation to form sulfate was also ***,the occurrence of sphalerite oxidation was accelerated.

In current neural network algorithms for nuclide identification in high-background,poor-resolution detectors,traditional network paradigms including back-propagation networks,convolutional neural networks,recurrent neural networks,etc.,have been limited in research on γ spectrum analysis because of their inherent mathematical *** is difficult to make progress in terms of training data requirements and prediction *** contrast to traditional network paradigms,network models based on the transformer structure have the characteristics of parallel computing,position encoding,and deep stacking,which have enabled good performance in natural language processing tasks in recent ***,in this paper,a transformer-based neural network (TBNN) model is proposed to achieve nuclide identification for the first ***,the Geant4 program was used to generate the basic single-nuclide energy spectrum through Monte Carlo simulations.A multi-nuclide energy spectrum database was established for neural network training using random matrices of γ-ray energy,activity,and *** on the encoder–decoder structure,a network topology based on the transformer was built,transforming the 1024-channel energy spectrum data into a 32×32 energy spectrum sequence as the model *** experiments and adjustments of model parameters,including the learning rate of the TBNN model,number of attention heads,and number of network stacking layers,the overall recognition rate reached 98.7%.Additionally,this database was used for training AI models such as back-propagation networks,convolutional neural networks,residual networks,and long shortterm memory neural networks,with overall recognition rates of 92.8%,95.3%,96.3%,and 96.6%,*** indicates that the TBNN model exhibited better nuclide identification among these AI models,providing an important reference and theoretical basis for the practical application of transformers in the qualitative and quantitativ

A series of heteronuclear yttrium-nickel monoxide carbonyl complexes YNiO（CO）_n-（n=1–5） were generated in a pulsed-laser vaporization source and characterized by mass-selected photoelectron velocity-map spectroscopy combined with theoretical *** ligand-mediated reactivity in CO oxidation of yttrium-nickel monoxide carbonyl complexes was experimentally and theoretically *** the consecutive CO adsorption,aμ2-O linear structure was most favorable for YNiO（CO）_n-（n=1,2）,then a structure in which the terminal O was bonded to the Y atom became favored for YNiO（CO）3-,and finally a structure bearing a CO2moiety was most favorable for YNiO（CO）_n-（n=4,5）.Theoretical calculations indicated that the Ni atom acted as an electron acceptor and accumulated electron density at n≤3,and then served as an electron donor along with the Y atom to contribute electron density in the rearrangement that accompanied CO oxidation at n>3.

With the increasing severity of arsenic(As)pollution,quantifying the environmental behavior of pollutant based on numerical model has become an important approach to determine the potential impacts and finalize the precise control *** the industrialintensive Jinsha River Basin as typical area,a two-dimensional hydrodynamic water quality model coupled with Soil andWater Assessment Tool(SWAT)model was developed to accurately simulate the watershed-scale distribution and transport of As in the terrestrial and aquatic environment at high spatial and temporal *** effects of hydro-climate change,hydropower station construction and non-point source emissions on Aswere quantified based on the coupled *** result indicated that higher As concentration areas mainly centralized in urban districts and concentration slowly decreased from upstream to *** to the enhanced rainfall,the As concentration was significantly higher during the rainy season than the dry ***-climate change and the construction of hydropower station not only affected the dissolved As concentration,but also affected the adsorption and desorption of As in ***,As concentration increased with the input of non-point source pollution,with the maximum increase about 30%,resulting that non-point sources contributed important pollutant impacts to *** coupled model used in pollutant behavior analysis is generalwith high potential application to predict and mitigate water pollution.

Background:To examine the effects of dehydroepiandrosterone(DHEA)on in vitro fertilization(IVF)intracytoplasmic sperm injection(ICSI)and the levels of follicular fluid(FF)markers,namely,anti-Müllerian hormone(AMH),insulin-like growth factor(IGF)-1,bone morphogenetic protein(BMP)-15,and growth differentiation factor(GDF)-9,in patients with diminished ovarian reserves(DORs).Methods:116 patients with DOR were randomized into two groups,DHEA group and control *** group contained 58 *** DHEA group received 75 mg/d of DHEA for 12 weeks prior to the start of IVF treatment,while the control group entered IVF treatment *** patients were treated with the same ovarian stimulation *** primary outcome was high-quality embryo *** IVF parameters,such as the clinical pregnancy rate,embryo survival rate,and intact blastomere rate,were compared between the two *** samples from patients of both groups were collected to measure the levels of AMH,IGF-1,DHEA-sulfate,BMP-15,and *** was also collected on day 3 of the menstrual cycle to define the baseline hormonal profile and to examine ovarian reserve ***:The high-quality embryo yield was higher in DHEA group than that in control group(P=0.033).AMH and IGF-1 concentrations in FF were significantly higher in DHEA group than that in the control group(2.83±1.14 ng/L vs.1.37±0.55 ng/L,P=0.000;94.02±38.28 ng/L vs.74.03±25.46 ng/L,P=0.004,respectively).The BMP-15 level was also higher in DHEA group(relative expression were 1.80±0.41)than that in control group(relative expression were 0.79±0.16,P0.05)and in the clinical pregnancy rate between the two groups(13.79%vs.7.27%,respectively,P>0.05).Conclusions:In women with DOR undergoing IVF treatment,pretreatment with DHEA may increase the number of high-quality embryos,which may be due
