It has been shown clinically that continuous removal of ischemia/reperfusion-induced reactive oxygen species is not conducive to the recovery of late ***,previous studies have shown that excessive increases in hypochlorous acid after stroke can cause severe damage to brain *** previous studies have found that a small amount of hypochlorous acid still exists in the later stage of stroke,but its specific role and mechanism are currently *** simulate stroke in vivo,a middle cerebral artery occlusion rat model was established,with an oxygen-glucose deprivation/reoxygenation model established in vitro to mimic *** found that in the early stage(within 24 hours)of ischemic stroke,neutrophils produced a large amount of hypochlorous acid,while in the recovery phase(10 days after stroke),microglia were activated and produced a small amount of hypochlorous ***,in acute stroke in rats,hypochlorous acid production was prevented using a hypochlorous acid scavenger,taurine,or myeloperoxidase inhibitor,4-aminobenzoic acid *** results showed that high levels of hypochlorous acid(200μM)induced neuronal apoptosis after oxygen/glucose deprivation/***,in the recovery phase of the middle cerebral artery occlusion model,a moderate level of hypochlorous acid promoted the proliferation and differentiation of neural stem cells into neurons and *** suggests that hypochlorous acid plays different roles at different phases of cerebral ischemia/reperfusion *** levels of hypochlorous acid(5 and 100μM)promoted nuclear translocation ofβ-*** transfection of single-site mutation plasmids,we found that hypochlorous acid induced chlorination of theβ-catenin tyrosine 30 residue,which promoted nuclear ***,our study indicates that maintaining low levels of hypochlorous acid plays a key role in the recovery of neurological function.

Dynamic Behavior Analysis of Finger Seal Based on Equivalent Dynamic Model

Finger seal is a new technology developed for gas path sealing in gas turbine *** has been paid attention to its good sealing performance and lower manufacture *** vibration behavior of finger seal is not be considered in performance analysis for the contact finger seal with compliant geometric configuration,then this will influence the reliability of the performance analysis and the parametric design of a finger *** to the dynamic character of finger seal,the harmonic vibration and free vibration models of a repetitive section of a two-layer finger seal that contains one high and one low finger seal are established *** dynamic behavior of finger seal in different working conditions is obtained based on the dynamic response analysis of finger＇s *** dynamic low hysteresis and low wear terms based on the equivalent dynamic model of finger seal are put forward,which can be used to predict the dynamic behavior of finger *** an example,the dynamic behaviors of an 8-layer finger seal and a 10-layer finger seal were predicted,and the validity of the prediction was demonstrated by the leakage test results of these two finger *** work presented here not only could make the dynamic analysis of finger seal with complicated structure simple and easy especially for multi-layer finger seal system,but also suggest a useful method for designing the finger seal with good dynamic behavior by means of different seal layers assembly.

Applying the disciplinary relation matrix to multidisciplinary design optimization modeling and solving

A new efficient coupling relationship description method has been developed to provide an automated and visualized way to multidisciplinary design optimization (MDO) modeling and solving. The disciplinary relation matrix (DRM) is proposed to describe the coupling relationship according to disciplinary input/output variables, and the MDO definition has been reformulated to adopt the new interfaces. Based on these, a universal MDO solving procedure is proposed to establish an automated and efficient way for MDO modeling and solving. Through a simple and convenient initial configuration, MDO problems can be solved using any of available MDO architectures with no further effort. Several examples are used to verify the proposed MDO modeling and solving process. Result shows that the DRM method has the ability to simplify and automate the MDO procedure, and the related MDO framework can evaluate the MDO problem automatically and efficiently.

Breakdown of Landau Fermi liquid theory： Restrictions on the degrees of freedom of quantum electrons

One challenge in contemporary condensed matter physics is to understand unconventional electronic physics beyond the paradigm of Landau Fermi-liquid theory. Here, we present a perspective that posits that most such examples of unconventional electronic physics stem from restrictions on the degrees of freedom of quantum electrons in Landau Fermi liquids. Since the degrees of freedom are deeply connected to the system＇s symmetries and topology, these restrictions can thus be realized by external constraints or by interaction-driven processes via the following mechanisms：（i） symmetry breaking, （ii） new emergent symmetries, and （iii） nontrivial topology. Various examples of unconventionM elec- tronic physics beyond the reach of traditional Landau Fermi liquid theory are extensively investigated from this point of view. Our perspective yields basic pathways to study the breakdown of Landau Fermi liquids and also provides a guiding principle in the search for novel electronic systems and devices.

A Modified Residual-based Test for Serial Correlation in Linear Panel Data Models

This paper suggests a modified serial correlation test for linear panel data models, which is based on the parameter estimates for an artificial autoregression modeled by differencing and centering residual vectors. Specifically, the differencing operator over the time index and the centering operator over the individual index are, respectively, used to eliminate the potential individual effects and time effects so that the resultant serial correlation test is robust to the two potential effects. Clearly, the test is also robust to the potential correlation between the covariates and the random effects. The test is asymptotically chi-squared distributed under the null hypothesis. Power study shows that the test can detect local alternatives distinct at the parametric rate from the null hypothesis. The finite sample properties of the test are investigated by means of Monte Carlo simulation experiments, and a real data example is analyzed for illustration.

Dynamic analysis of C/C composite finger seal

A seal device as an important component of aeroengines has decisive influence on per- formance, reliability, and working life of aeroengines. With the development of aeroengines, demands on the performance characteristics of seal devices are made strictly. Finger seal as a novel kind of sealing device, recently attracts more and more attentions in academic circles and engineer- ing fields at home and abroad. Research on finger seals has been extensively developed, especially on leakage and wear performances under dynamic conditions. However, it is a pity that the work on finger seals has been limited with a single approach that is improving the performance by structural optimization; in addition, the technology of dynamic analysis on finger seals is weak. Aiming at the problems mentioned above, a distributed mass equivalent dynamic model of finger seals considering the coupling effect of overlaid laminates is established in the present paper, the dynamic perfor- mance of 2.5 dimension C/C composite finger seal is analyzed with the model, and then the effects of fiber bundle density and fiber bundle preparation direction on finger seal＇s dynamic performance are discussed, as well as compared with those of Co-based alloy finger seal. The current work is about dynamic analysis of finger seals and application of C/C composite in this paper may have much academic significance and many engineering values for improving research level of finger seal dynamics and exploring feasibility of C/C composite being used for finger seals.

Declined trends of chlorophyll a in the South China Sea over 2005–2019 from remote sensing reconstruction

Chlorophyll a concentration(CHL)is an important proxy of the marine ecological environment and phytoplankton ***-term trends in CHL of the South China Sea(SCS)reflect the changes in the ecosystem’s productivity and functionality in the regional carbon *** this study,we applied a previously reconstructed 15-a(2005–2019)CHL product,which has a complete coverage at 4 km and daily resolutions,to analyze the long-term trends of CHL in the *** regression was used to elaborate on the long-term trends of high,median,and low CHL values,as an extended method of conventional linear *** results showed downward trends of the SCS CHL for the 75th,50th,and 25th quantile in the past 15 a,which were−0.0040 mg/(m^(3)·a)(−1.62%per year),−0.0023 mg/(m^(3)·a)(−1.10%per year),and−0.0019 mg/(m^(3)·a)(−1.01%per year).The negative trends in winter(November to March)were more prominent than those in summer(May to September).In terms of spatial distribution,the downward trend was more significant in regions with higher *** led to a reduced standard deviation of CHL over time and *** further explored the influence of various dynamic factors on CHL trends for the entire SCS and two typical systems(winter Luzon Strait(LZ)and summer Vietnam Upwelling System(SV))with single-variate linear regression and multivariate Random Forest *** multivariate analysis suggested the CHL trend pattern can be best explained by the trends of wind speed and mixed-layer *** divergent importance of controlling factors for LZ and SV can explain the different CHL trends for the two *** study expanded our understanding of the long-term changes of CHL in the SCS and provided a reference for investigating changes in the marine ecosystem.

Low-temperature sintering and microwave dielectric properties of CaMg1−xLi2xSi2O6(x=0−0.3)ceramics

In this study, low-temperature fired CaMg1−xLi2xSi2O6 microwave dielectric ceramics were prepared via the traditional solid-state reaction method. In this process, 0.4 wt% Li2CO3-B2O3-SiO2-CaCO3-Al2O3 (LBSCA) glass was added as a sintering aid. The results showed that ceramics consisted of CaMgSi2O6 as the main phase. The second phases were CaSiO3 always existing and Li2SiO3 occurring at substitution content x > 0.05. Li+ substitution effectively lowered sintering temperature due to 0.4 wt% LBSCA and contributed to grain densification, and the most homogeneous morphology could be observed at x = 0.05. The effects of relative density, the second phase, and ionic polarizability on dielectric constant (εr) were investigated. The quality factor (Q × f) varied with packing fraction that concerned the second phase. Moreover, the temperature coefficient of the resonant frequency (τf) was influenced by MgO6 octahedral distortion and bond valence. Excellent dielectric properties of the CaMg1−xLi2xSi2O6 ceramic was exhibited at x = 0.05 with εr = 7.44, Q × f = 41,017 GHz (f = 15.1638 GHz), and τf = −59.3 ppm/°C when sintered at 900 °C. It had a good application prospect in the field of low-temperature co-fired ceramic (LTCC) substrate and devices.
