In this ar.icle,in-situ scanning electr.n micr.scop. char.cter.zation of the tensile p.op.r.ies of TiB/Ti-2Al-6Sn titanium matr.x comp.site(TMC)was conducted befor. and after.electr.shocking tr.atment(EST).After.EST,the tensile str.ngth incr.ased by 113.2 *** effect of EST on the tensile str.ngth and fr.ctur. behavior.of TiB was investigated using in-situ char.cter.zation of the fr.ctur. mor.0}ology and cr.ck p.op.gation p.th of the matr.x and *** EST,TiB fr.ctur. intr.duced cr.cks that extended into the matr.x,r.sulting in mater.al *** EST,the r.fined TiB imp.oved the bear.ng cap.city of the matr.x,ther.by imp.oving TMC ***,after.EST,the cr.cks wer. intr.duced into the matr.x,and r.sulting the fr.ctur. of matr.x *** an incr.ase in the exter.al load,cr.cks in the matr.x wer. obser.ed to p.op.gate to TiB,and the r.fined TiB was fr.ctur.d,detached,and p.lled out,r.sulting in the for.ation of *** the p.op.gation p.th of the main cr.ck after.EST showed that the deflection angle of the main cr.ck *** micr. str.ctur. of the fr.ctur. sur.ace indicated that the fr.ctur. of the matr.x was p.astic,wher.as that of TiB was *** EST,the size and ar.a of the dimp.es incr.ased,confir.ing the incr.ase in *** r.sults r.vealed that the comp.ehensive mechanical p.op.r.ies of TiB/Ti-2Al-6Sn imp.oved after.***,EST is an efficient method for.tailor.ng the micr. str.ctur.s and mechanical p.op.r.ies of TMCs.

The mor.0}ology and content of the divor.ed eutectic in the micr.str.ctur. of high p.essur. die casting(Hp.C) magnesium alloy have a gr.at influence on the final p.r.or.ance of castings. Based on the p.evious wor. concer.ing simulation of the nucleation and dendr.tic gr.wth of p.imar. α-Mg dur.ng the solidification of magnesium alloy under.Hp.C p.ocess, an extension was made to the for.er.y established CA(Cellular.Automaton) model with the p.r.0}se of modeling the nucleation and gr.wth of Mg-Al eutectic. With a temp.r.tur. field and solute field obtained dur.ng simulation of the p.imar. α-Mg dendr.tes as the initial condition of the modified CA model, modeling of the Mg-Al eutectic with a divor.ed mor.0}ology was achieved. Mor.over. the simulated r.sults wer. in accor.ance with the exp.r.mental ones r.gar.ing the distr.bution and content of the divor.ed eutectic. Taking a "cover.p.ate" die casting with AM60 magnesium alloy as an examp.e, the r.p.d solidification with a high cooling r.te at the sur.ace layer.of the casting led to a fine and unifor. gr.in size of p.imar. α-Mg, while the divor.ed eutectic at the gr.in boundar. r.vealed a mor. disp.r.ed and gr.nular.mor.0}ology. Islands of divor.ed eutectic wer. obser.ed at the centr.l r.gion of the casting, due to the existence of ESCs(Exter.ally Solidified Cr.stals) which contr.buted to a coar.e and non-unifor. gr.in size of p.imar. α-Mg. The volume p.r.entage of the eutectic β-Mg_(17)Al_(12) p.ase is about 2%-6% in the die casting as a whole. The numer.cal model established in this study is of gr.at significance to the study of the divor.ed eutectic in the micr.str.ctur. of die cast magnesium alloy.
