＜正＞This paper presents the loading/reloading and loading/unloading experiments for a kind of tungsten alloy by using the two-stage light gas gun, in which the sample/window （sapphire） interface velocity profiles are measured by VISAR technique. The dynamic yield strength of tungsten alloy under shock pressures of 104GPa, 130GPa and 190GPa were found to be 6.2GPa, 5.8GPa and 5.2GPa, respectively. Combined with the experimental data below 100GPa in the previous researches, the variation of yield strength of tungsten alloy under shock pressure is illustrated in Figure 1. The yield strength can be divided into three ranges. In the first range, from pressure about OGPa to 96GPa, the yield strength increase with pressure, its dependence on the pressure can be presented by linear relationship. In the second range, from pressure of 96GPa to 190GPa, the yield strength increase with pressure and reach a zenith at about 120GPa firstly, and *** decrease with pressure slowly. In this range its variation can be described approximately by the second power of pressure. The third range, pressure above 190GPa, according to the reference [11], we could infer that the variation of yield strength is decreasing very fast with pressure to zero and finally the material will be in the fluid state. Such a mechanical behavior may be ascribed to the characteristics of its microstructure, and the movements and interaction of its dislocation.
