Two different autorefractors for vision screening in children and adolescents

AIM:To compare the consistency of two autorefractors(Tianle RM-9000 and Topcon KR-800)for school-age myopia children,and to provide a basis for largescale data analysis and ***:The refractive error in 909 subjects(age 4–18y)were measured using both autorefractors without *** data were analyzed using Fourier decomposition and the correlation coefficients,intraclass correlation coefficients(ICC),and Bland-Altman limits of agreement(LoA)for each parameter were ***:There was a strong correlation between the spherical equivalent(SE),sphere diopter(DS),and cylinder diopter(DC)readings of the Tianle RM-9000 and those of the Topcon KR-800,with correlation coefficient values of 0.98,0.98 and 0.83 and ICC values of 0.99,0.99 and 0.93,***,the correlation coefficients and ICC values of J0 and J45 were unreliable(R=-0.004,-0.034;both ICC<0.10).Bland-Altman analysis revealed that SE,DS,and DC measured by the Tianle RM-9000 were significantly biased toward myopia compared with the Topcon KR-800,and the mean differences were-0.072,-0.026,-0.091 D,respectively(all P<0.01).The minimum absolute value of the difference within the 95%LoA for SE,DS,and DC was 0.63 D,0.50 D,0.62 D,respectively;all these values were in the clinically acceptable *** J0 and J45,the mean differences were close to zero(P=0.43,0.84);however,the 95%LoA were relatively wide(J0 SD:0.53;95%CI:-1.00,1.10;J45 SD:0.52;95%CI:-1.00,1.00).CONCLUSION:The two autorefractors are consistent with each other,as the differences in SE,DS,and DC were within the clinically acceptable *** can compare the data measured by either device in different studies and use the two devices in the same study to generate a dataset that can be analyzed ***,the J0 and J45 vectors are unreliable and should not be used to assess astigmatism.

Potato seed-metering monitoring and improved miss-seeding catching-up compensation control system using spatial capacitance sensor

The congenital yield reduction caused by miss-seeding in spoon-type seed-metering device of small and medium-sized potato planter is *** on the physical mechanism of different measured capacitance values between two fixed capacitor plates with different media,a miss-seeding detection scheme based on a spatial capacitance sensor is proposed first.A simple and efficient spatial capacitance sensor that can obtain as large capacitance measurement value as possible is designed,and a dual CPU coordinated seed-monitoring and compensation control system architecture is ***7745 is selected for the capacitance measure of the spatial capacitance sensor,and the code of grating encoder is also recorded at the same ***,when each potato spoon passing through the space surrounded by the capacitor plates,the maximum net capacitance fluctuation and its corresponding position can be acquired.A suitable threshold can distinguish between normal-seeding and miss-seeding ***,it should be emphasized that,this monitoring system only requires one monitoring ***,based on obtained information,an improved miss-seeding catching-up compensation plan is put *** utilizing the powerful memory capability of the CPU,this system does not need to complete compensation immediately after the miss-seeding ***,the miss-seeding information and the location of the accident can be just marked in advance,and only when the opportunity arrives,can the miss-seeding catching-up compensation be truly *** this way,the position of the seed-monitoring points can be free from restriction,and the control strategy can therefore be significantly *** soil tank test data showed that,the identification accuracy of the miss-seeding detection system was not less than 94%.When the seed-metering chain speeds are 0.2,0.3,and 0.4 m/s,the average success rates of the miss-seeding compensation system are 94.32%,83.65%,and 75.00%,respectively.T

The location ofγ-ray emission of blazars remains a contested topic,inspiring the development of numerous investigative techniques to address this *** this work,we analyzed Fermiγ-ray light curves in the GeV and MeV bands,employing the discrete cross-correlation function method to discern time lags between the two *** 4C+21.35,Ton 599,B21420+32,and PKS 1510-089,we identified a time lag spanning several days,while for PKS 1441+25,the time lag was not statistically *** results imply that the soft photons necessary for inverse Compton scattering predominantly originate from the dusty torus in the first four sources,whereas for PKS1441+25,they seem to be sourced mainly from the broad-line *** analysis of the opacity(τγγ)and the GeV spectra study supports the conclusion that the location of the dissipation region must be beyond the BLR to avoid significant ***,for PKS 1441+25,the emission region is also posited to lie outside yet proximate to the *** parameters of describing the emission region were obtained by fitting broadband spectral energy distribution with contemporaneous observation *** findings suggest that for the five TeV FSRQs,during Te V flaring events,the jet appears to maintain an equilibrium between the energy density of the magnetic field and that of the particles for all investigated sources,with the exceptions of 4C+21.35 and PKS1441+*** terms of the overall jet power,particle energy is the dominant contributor,and the observed blazar radiation cannot be solely attributed to the magnetic field,except in the case of 4C+***,magnetic reconnection is unlikely to be the primary mechanism behind particle acceleration in these systems.

Minocycline in the eradication of Helicobacter pylori infection: A systematic review and meta-analysis

BACKGROUND Difficulty in obtaining tetracycline,increased adverse reactions,and relatively complicated medication methods have limited the clinical application of the classic bismuth quadruple ***,the search for new alternative drugs has become one of the research *** recent years,minocycline,as a semisynthetic tetracycline,has demonstrated good potential for eradicating Helicobacter pylori(***)infection,but the systematic evaluation of its role remains *** To explore the efficacy,safety,and compliance of minocycline in eradicating *** *** We comprehensively retrieved the electronic databases of PubMed,Embase,Web of Science,China National Knowledge Infrastructure,SinoMed,and Wanfang database as of October 30,2023,and finally included 22 research reports on *** eradication with minocycline-containing regimens as per the inclusion and exclusion *** eradication rates of *** were calculated using a fixed or a random effect model,and the heterogeneity and publication bias of the studies were *** The single-arm meta-analysis revealed that the minocycline-containing regimens achieved good overall *** eradication rates,reaching 82.3%[95%confidence interval(CI):79.7%-85.1%]in the intention-to-treat analysis and 90.0%(95%CI:87.7%-92.4%)in the per-protocol *** overall safety and compliance of the minocycline-containing regimens were good,demonstrating an overall incidence of adverse reactions of 36.5%(95%CI:31.5%-42.2%).Further by traditional meta-analysis,the results showed that the minocycline-containing regimens were not statistically different from other commonly used eradication regimens in eradication rate and incidence of adverse *** of the adverse reactions were mild to moderate and well-tolerated,and dizziness was relatively prominent in the minocycline-containing regimens(16%).CONCLUSION The minocycline-containing regimens demonstrated good efficacy,safety,and

目的探讨5岁以上川崎病(Kawasaki disease,KD)儿童合并冠状动脉病变(coronary artery lesion)的预测指标并构建风险预测模型。方法回顾性分析2018年1月—2023年1月华中科技大学同济医学院附属武汉儿童医院收治的5岁以上KD患儿的临床资料,其中合并CAL 47例,未合并CAL 178例。采用多因素logistic回归分析探讨5岁以上KD儿童合并CAL发生的预测指标并构建风险预测模型,采用受试者操作特性曲线评价预测模型的效果。最后根据Framingham风险评分法对预测指标进行分层量化,计算各指标对5岁以上KD儿童合并CAL预测的贡献值并构建风险预测评分模型。结果多因素logistic回归分析显示,首剂静脉注射免疫球蛋白(intravenous immunoglobulin,IVIG)治疗前发热时长(OR=1.374,95%CI:1.117~1.689)、超敏C反应蛋白(hypersensitive C-reactive protein,hs-CRP;OR=1.008,95%CI:1.001~1.015)及血清铁蛋白(OR=1.002,95%CI:1.001~1.003)是5岁以上KD儿童合并CAL发生的预测指标。各指标预测CAL发生的最佳截断值为:首剂IVIG治疗前发热时长为6.5 d(AUC=0.654,95%CI:0.565~0.744),hs-CRP为110.50 mg/L(AUC=0.686,95%CI:0.597~0.774),铁蛋白为313.62 mg/L(AUC=0.724,95%CI:0.642~0.805)。据Framingham风险评分法对预测指标赋值并构建风险预测评分模型,将CAL发生的低、中、高危状态分别定义为发生概率20%,对应分值分别为0~4分、5~6分、≥7分。结论在5岁以上KD患儿中,首次IVIG治疗前发热时间较长、hs-CRP水平较高或血清铁蛋白水平较高者,易发生CAL。

数字经济正在深刻变革制造业的基础理念与价值创造逻辑,把握数字化转型的战略时机成为制造商面对的重要决策问题。本文考虑两个由制造商与零售商组成的竞争性供应链,使用动态博弈模型分析制造商数字化转型的博弈均衡与最优策略选择。研究结果表明:任一制造商先于竞争对手实施数字化转型均可实现自身利润、下游零售商利润与供应链市场份额最大化;制造商数字化转型对采用传统技术的竞争对手造成的技术冲击大于技术溢出,削减竞争对手利润并攫取其供应链的市场份额;在数字化转型的策略选择上,两个制造商无论是先后还是同时决策,全部实施数字化转型将产生双赢效应,提升制造商利润并形成供应链竞争的纳什均衡。研究结论有助于深入认识数字化转型对企业价值创造及市场竞争格局的作用机理。

Non-Kramers doublet ground state in a quaternary cubic compound PrRu_(2)In_(2)Zn_(18) investigated by ultrasonic measurements

We performed ultrasonic measurements on a quaternary cubic compound PrRu_(2)In_(2)Zn_(18) to explore the ground state properties derived from non-Kramers Γ_(3) doublet of Pr^(3+).PrRu_(2)In_(2)Zn_(18) is a quaternary derivative of the ternary compound PrRu_(2)Zn_(20) that exhibits a structural phase transition at T_S=138 *** PrRu_(2)In_(2)Zn_(18),the Zn atoms at the 16c site in PrRu_(2)Zn_(20) are selectively replaced by In atoms.A monotonic increase was observed in the temperature dependence of elastic constants C_L=(C_(11)+2C_(12)+4C_(44))/3 and C_(T)=(C_(11)-C_(12)+C_(44))/3 in the temperature range around T_(S) to which an elastic softening was observed in(C_(11)-C_(12))/2 for PrRu_(2)Zn_(20).The disappearance of the softening indicates that the structural transition in PrRu_(2)Zn_(20) is suppressed by the substitution of Zn ions by In ones with a larger ionic ***,the C_(T) of PrRu_(2)In_(2)Zn_(18) exhibits a precursor Curie-type elastic softening toward low temperatures being responsible for the non-Kramers Γ_(3) ground *** discuss the ground state and the evolution of the elastic properties of the different single-crystal samples of PrRu_(2)In_(2)Zn_(18) grown under different conditions.

Triceps skinfold thickness trajectories and the risk of all-cause mortality:A prospective cohort study

BACKGROUND The measurement of triceps skinfold(TSF)thickness serves as a noninvasive metric for evaluating subcutaneous fat *** its clinical utility,the TSF thickness trajectories and their correlation with overall mortality have not been thoroughly *** To explore TSF thickness trajectories of Chinese adults and to examine their associations with all-cause *** This study encompassed a cohort of 14747 adults sourced from the China Health and Nutrition *** class trajectory modeling was employed to identify distinct trajectories of TSF *** were classified into subgroups reflective of their respective TSF thickness *** utilized multivariate Cox regression analyses and mediation examinations to explore the link between TSF thickness trajectory and overall mortality,including contributory *** Upon adjustment for multiple confounding factors,we discerned that males in the‘Class 2:Thin-stable’and‘Class 3:Thin-moderate’TSF thickness trajectories exhibited a markedly reduced risk of mortality from all causes in comparison to the‘Class 1:Extremely thin’*** the mediation analyses,the Geriatric Nutritional Risk Index was found to be a partial intermediary in the relationship between TSF thickness trajectories and *** females,a lower TSF thickness pattern was significantly predictive of elevated all-cause mortality risk exclusively within the non-elderly *** In males and non-elderly females,lower TSF thickness trajectories are significantly predictive of heightened mortality risk,independent of single-point TSF thickness,body mass index,and waist circumference.
