Iridovirus poses a substantial threat to global aquaculture due to its high mortality rate;however,the molecular mechanisms underpinning its pathogenesis are not well ***,a multi-omics approach was applied to groupers infected with Singapore grouper iridovirus(SGIV),focusing on the roles of key *** showed that SGIV induced obvious histopathological damage and changes in metabolic enzymes within the ***,SGIV significantly reduced the contents of lipid droplets,triglycerides,cholesterol,and *** analysis indicated that the altered metabolites were enriched in 19 pathways,with a notable down-regulation of lipid metabolites such as glycerophosphates and alpha-linolenic acid(ALA),consistent with disturbed lipid homeostasis in the *** of transcriptomic and metabolomic data revealed that the top enriched pathways were related to cell growth and death and nucleotide,carbohydrate,amino acid,and lipid metabolism,supporting the conclusion that SGIV infection induced liver metabolic *** integrative transcriptomic and proteomic analysis indicated that SGIV infection activated crucial molecular events in a phagosome-immune depression-metabolism dysregulation-necrosis signaling *** note,integrative multi-omics analysis demonstrated the consumption of ALA and linoleic acid(LA)metabolites,and the accumulation of L-glutamic acid(GA),accompanied by alterations in immune,inflammation,and cell death-related *** experimental data showed that ALA,but not GA,suppressed SGIV replication by activating antioxidant and anti-inflammatory responses in the ***,these findings provide a comprehensive resource for understanding host response dynamics during fish iridovirus infection and highlight the antiviral potential of ALA in the prevention and treatment of iridoviral diseases.

We have found recently that two-step intrinsic hydroxyl radical(·OH)-dependent chemiluminescence(CL)could be produced by carcinogenic tetrahaloquinone and H_(2)O_(2).However,the first-step CL was too fast to clearly detect the stepwise generation of·OH and CL,and to distinguish the exact dividing point between the first-step and second-step *** we found that,extremely clear two-step intrinsic CL could be produced by the relative slow reaction of tetrabromohydroquinone(TBHQ)with H_(2)O_(2),which was directly dependent on the two-step·OH ***,the second-step,but not the first-step CL production of TBHQ/H_(2)O_(2)(CRET donor)was markedly enhanced by fluorescein(a typical xanthene dye,CRET acceptor)through a unique chemiluminescence resonance energy transfer(CRET)*** novel CRET system of TBHQ/H_(2)O_(2)/fluorescein was successfully applied for the sensitive detection of TBHQ with the detection limit as low as 2.5μmol/*** findings will help to develop more sensitive and highly efficient CL or CRET systems and specific CL sensor to detect the carcinogenic haloquinones,which may have broad environmental applications.

Molting and metamorphosis are important physiological processes in insects that are tightly controlled by ecdysone receptor(EcR)through the 20-hydroxyecdysone(20E)signaling *** is a steroid nuclear receptor(SR).Several FK506-binding proteins(FKBPs)have been identified from the mammal SR complex,and are thought to be involved in the subcellular trafficking of ***,their roles in insects are poorly *** explore whether FKBPs are involved in insect molting or metamorphosis,we injected an FKBP inhibitor(FK506)into a lepidopteran insect,Spodoptera litura,and found that molting was inhibited in 61.11%of the larvae,and that the time for larvae to pupate was significantly extended.A total of 10 FKBP genes were identified from the genome of *** and were clustered into 2 distinct groups,according to their subcellular localization,with FKBP13 and FKBP14 belonging to the endoplasmic reticulum(ER)group and with the other members belonging to the cytoplasmic(Cy)*** the CyFKBPs were significantly upregulated in the prepupal or pupal stages,with the opposite being observed for the ER group ***506 completely blocked the transfer of EcR to the nucleus under 20E induction,and significantly downregulated the transcriptional expression of many 20E signaling genes.A similar phenomenon was observed after RNA interference of2 CyFKBPs(FKBP45 and FKBP12b),but not for *** together,our data indicate that the cytoplasmic FKBPs,especially FKBP45 and FKBP12b,mediate the nuclear localization of EcR,thereby regulating the 20E signaling and ultimately affecting molting and metamorphosis in insects.

This study aims to conduct a cost-effectiveness analysis of three different anesthesia strategies,namely chatting while under local anesthesia(Chat-LA),total intravenous anesthesia(TIVA),and general anesthesia with laryngeal mask airway(GA-LMA),employed in transperineal magnetic resonance imaging(MRI)/ultrasound(US)fusion prostate biopsy(TP-MUF-PB).A retrospective study was conducted involving 1202 patients who underwent TP-MUF-PB from June 2016 to April 2023 at The First Affiliated Hospital of Soochow University(Suzhou,China).Clinical data and outcomes,including total costs,complications,and quality-adjusted life years(QALYs),were *** sensitivity and subgroup analyses were also ***-LA was found to be the most cost-effective option,outperforming both TIVA and ***,subgroup analyses revealed that in younger patients(under 65 years old)and those with smaller prostate volumes(<40 ml),TIVA emerged as a more cost-effective *** Chat-LA may generally be the most cost-effective and safer anesthesia method for TP-MUF-PB,personalization of anesthesia strategies is crucial,considering specific patient demographics such as age and prostate volume.

受成像原理及加工工艺的限制,非制冷红外探测器存在严重的非均匀性,为了提升红外成像质量,必须对图像进行非均匀性校正。依据成因和分布特点,该文将红外非均匀性分为低频非均匀性、散粒非均匀性和条纹非均匀性3类,并从探测器的光学系统、热敏材料、放大电路等方面探究了非制冷红外成像非均匀性的形成机理。之后,该文系统性地总结目前无挡片非均匀性校正方法,根据方法的工作原理,将其归纳为基于统计的、基于滤波的、基于优化的和基于学习的非均匀性校正方法4类,并根据每类方法在处理不同非均匀性时的特异性进行梳理和总结。最后,本文对现阶段非制冷红外无挡片非均匀性校正方法存在的问题进行了回顾和总结,并对面向实际应用的非均匀性校正方法发展趋势进行了展望。

BACKGROUND Several studies have reported that the walking trail making test(WTMT)completion time is significantly higher in patients with developmental coordination disorders and mild cognitive *** hypothesized that WTMT performance would be altered in older adults with white matter hyperintensities(WMH).AIM To explore the performance in the WTMT in older people with *** In this single-center,observational study,25 elderly WMH patients admitted to our hospital from June 2019 to June 2020 served as the WMH group and 20 participants matched for age,gender,and educational level who were undergoing physical examination in our hospital during the same period served as the control *** participants completed the WTMT-A and WTMT-B to obtain their gait parameters,including WTMT-A completion time,WTMT-B completion time,speed,step length,cadence,and stance phase *** matter lesions were scored according to the Fazekas *** neuropsychological assessments were carried out to assess cognitive *** relationships between WTMT performance and cognition and motion in elderly patients with WMH were analyzed by partial Pearson correlation *** Patients with WMH performed significantly worse on the choice reaction test(CRT)(0.51±0.09 s vs 0.44±0.06 s,P=0.007),verbal fluency test(VFT,14.2±2.75 vs 16.65±3.54,P=0.012),and digit symbol substitution test(16.00±2.75 vs 18.40±3.27,P=0.010)than participants in the control *** WMH group also required significantly more time to complete the WTMT-A(93.00±10.76 s vs 70.55±11.28 s,P<0.001)and WTMT-B(109.72±12.26 s vs 82.85±7.90 s,P<0.001).WTMT-A completion time was positively correlated with CRT time(r=0.460,P=0.001),while WTMT-B completion time was negatively correlated with VFT(r=-0.391,P=0.008).On the WTMT-A,only speed was found to statistically differ between the WMH and control groups(0.803±0.096 vs 0.975±0.050 m/s,P<0.001),whereas on the WTMT-B,the WMH group exhibited a sign

Direct methanol fuel cell technology recently becomes the focus of both academic and engineering circles,which stimulates the exploitation and utilization of advanced electrode catalysts with high activity and long ***,we demonstrate a robust bottom-up approach to the spatial construction of three-dimensional(3D) spinel manganese-cobalt oxide-modified N-doped graphene nanoarchitectures decorated with ultrasmall Pt nanoparticles(Pt/MnCo_(2)O_(4)-NG) via a controllable selfassembly *** incorporation of MnCo_(2)O_(4)nanocrystals provides abundant hydroxyl sources to promote the oxidative removal of CO-like byproducts on Pt sites,while the existence of 3D porous N-doped graphene networks facilitates the transportation of both ions and electrons in the hybrid system,thus giving rise to remarkable synergetic coupling effects during the methanol oxidation ***,the optimized Pt/MnCo_(2)O_(4)-NG nano architecture expres ses exceptional electrocatalytic properties with a large electrochemically active surface area of 99.5 m^(2)·g^(-1),a high mass activity of1508.3 mA·mg^(-1),strong toxicity resistance and reliable long-term durability,which have obvious competitive advantages over those of conventional Pt/carbon black,Pt/carbon nano tube,Pt/graphene,and Pt/N-doped graphene catalysts with the same Pt usage.
