Rheumatoid arthritis(RA),the most common inflammatory arthropathy word wild,is a systemic autoimmune disease that mainly affects the synovium of joints with a high disability *** misregulation has emerged as a fundamental pathogenesis of RA linked to immune cell dysfunction,while targeting immunometabolism provides a new and effective approach to regulate the immune responses and thus alleviate the symptom of ***,natural active compounds from traditional Chinese medicines(TCMs)have potential therapeutic effects on RA and regulating *** this review,in addition to updating the connection between cellular metabolism and cell function in immune cells of RA,we summarized that the anti-inflammatory mechanisms of the potential natural compounds from TCM by targeting metabolic reprogramming of immune cells,and discusses them as a rich resource for providing the new potential paradigm for the treatment of RA.

Dear Editor,Protein histidine methylation has been found to be a widespread post-translational modification(PTM)in mammalian cells and represents more than 13%of all protein methylation events in the human methylome(Ning et al.,2016;Kapell and Jakobsson,2021).Recently,we and other groups independently identified METTL9 as the first broad-specificity histidine N1 methyltransferase in mammals(Davydova et al.,2021;Lv et al.,2021).METTL9 methylates a variety of substrates with a common x-His-x-His motif(His is for histidine;the second x is preferably small amino acids:A/C/G/S)and catalyzes methyl transfer to the last histidine.

Accurately predicting stock returns is a conundrum in financial *** this conundrum can bring huge economic benefits for investors and also attract the attention of all circles of *** this paper the authors combine semi-varying coefficient model with technical analysis and statistical learning,and propose semi-varying coefficient panel data model with individual effects to explore the dynamic relations between the stock returns from five companies:CVX,DFS,EMN,LYB,and MET and five technical indicators:CCI,EMV,MOM,ln ATR,ln RSI as well as closing price(ln CP),combine semi-parametric fixed effects estimator,semi-parametric random effects estimator with the testing procedure to distinguish fixed effects(FE) from random effects(RE),and finally apply the estimated dynamic relations and the testing set to predict stock returns in December 2020 for the five *** proposed method can accommodate the varying relationship and the interactive relationship between the different technical indicators,and further enhance the prediction accuracy to stock returns.

As a crucial part in micro-electromechanical manufacture,local ultra-precision processing of highly ductile copper is expected to be realized by fluid jet polishing(FJP),which widely utilized in optical *** copper exhibits different wear behavior from stiff and brittle material,there is currently no abrasive wear prediction model applicable for copper to investigate the polishing *** research reveals that the copper material removal is dominated by deformation wear rather than cutting wear through abrasive jet impact experiments and localized wear scars analysis.A three-dimensional gas-liquid-particle triphasic wear model for copper in FJP is developed by considering impact energy and wear mechanism ***,validation assessments at various working pressures and impingement angles achieve the goodness-of-fit up to 0.92–0.97 in quantitative comparison between simulations and experimental measurements,which demonstrate the wear prediction ability of the proposed *** investigation facilitates a better understanding of copper wear mechanism and provides theoretical guidance for FJP process optimization.

The aging problem of vegetable oil has severely restricted the popularization and application of vegetable oil *** antioxidants is the most recommended *** present,there is insufficient research on the micromechanism application of the protective effect of antioxidants on vegetable *** this paper,multiple vegetable oil models with different types and concentrations of antioxidants are *** the molecular dynamics simulation based on ReaxFF is carried out at different temperatures and oxygen *** show that the protective mechanism of antioxidants is to release H and combine this with free radicals generated by the decomposition of unsaturated fatty acids(UFA)in the *** addition,the protective effects of four antioxidants show different *** stronger ones are tert-butyl hydroquinone(TBHQ)and butylated hydroxytoluene(BHT),while the weaker ones are butylated hydroxyanisole(BHA)and propyl gallate(PG).TBHQ has a better protective effect at lower concentrations,but the decomposition of UFA is promoted at higher *** the temperature rises,the decomposition of UFA is *** the addition of oxygen,smaller molecular compounds are easily oxidized,and the decomposition of UFA is *** above research could reveal the microscopic mechanism of antioxidant protection on vegetable oil,providing theoretical references for further exploration of effective vegetable oil aging protection technology.

Rheumatoid arthritis(RA)is a common autoimmune condition with an elusive *** and biological disease-modifying drugs sometimes fail or produce only partial *** Chinese medicine(TCM)has long been used in China as a treatment for RA and is achieving everincreasing acceptance *** treatments are traditionally guided by the theory of treatment based on TCM syndrome differentiation;however,they remain a matter of empirical practice relying on TCM theories and doctors’own experience,which places severe restrictions on worldwide TCM ***,TCM is a treasure trove for drug discovery,particularly as a treatment for complicated human *** discoveries of artemisinin as a treatment for malaria and of TCM–arsenic trioxide(As2O3)combination therapy as a treatment for acute promyelocytic leukemia(APL)are excellent examples of the great value of *** RA treatments,many Chinese medicinal herbs and their formulas,extracts,ingredients,and even single compounds have been used in clinical *** Chinese proprietary medicines(CPMs)derived from TCM formulas or herbal bioactive components,such as the controlled-release ZhengQingFengTongNing(ZQFTN)Tablets,Tripterygium Glycoside Tablets,and Total Glucosides of Peony(TGP)Capsules,have been included in the National Health Insurance Directory of China,and show comparable therapeutic efficacies to those of western chemical drugs with fewer side *** TCM research has advanced,particularly in the use of multidisciplinary technologies,the scientific foundations and characteristics of the use of TCM to treat RA have been revealed,and the quality of TCM treatments have been increasingly ***,TCM generally lacks sufficient clinical and laboratory data to be consistent with international standards for quality,safety,and efficacy in order to support its application ***,intensive basic and clinical studies on TCM are required.I

High-throughput computing(HTC) is a computing paradigm that aims to accomplish jobs by easily breaking them into smaller,independent ***,it requires a large amount of computing power for a long *** existing HTC frameworks are job-oriented without support for coscheduling with hardware architecture and task-level ***,most of the frameworks reach a limited scale,and their usability needs further ***,we present HTDcr,a job execution framework for the HTC on *** study aims to improve the throughput,task dispatching,and usability of the *** detail,the throughput optimizations include a sophisticated designed task management system,a hierarchical scheduler,and the co-optimization of the task-scheduling strategy with the application and hardware *** optimizations for usability include a programable execution workflow,mechanisms for more robust and reliable service qualities,and a fine-grained resource allocation system for the colocation of multiple *** to our evaluations,HTDcr can achieve outstanding scalability and high throughput on large-scale clusters for the HTC *** evaluate HTDcr with several microbenchmarks and real-world applications on Tianhe-2 and Sunway TaihuLight to demonstrate its effects on existing design *** instance,the task scheduling for two real-world applications integrated with the application and hardware characteristics achieves 1.7× and 1.9× speedups over the basic task-scheduling strategy.

Sinomenine(SIN)is commonly used as part of rheumatoid arthritis(RA)therapy in China,but there is still no published evidence of the efficacy of SIN *** work investigates the efficacy and safety of SIN in treating RA patients and analyzes the correlation between ornithine level and the alleviation of disease activity in RA *** this 24 week,randomized,placebo-controlled,double-blind clinical trial,people with mild to moderate RA were randomly assigned(1:1:1,stratified by hospital)to receive SIN(120 mg,twice daily),methotrexate(MTX)(10 mg per week),or SIN+MTX *** primary outcome was the proportion of patients who achieved a 50%improvement in the American College of Rheumatology(ACR50)criteria at week 24 and who showed improvement according to the clinical disease activity index(CDAI).In this prospective subgroup analysis,we also assessed whether the 24-week alterations of disease activity in the treatment group were significantly correlated to the levels of blood *** the 135 enrolled participants,38,39,and 36 patients were treated with SIN,MTX,and SIN+MTX,*** the SIN-treated group,52.63%of patients achieved ACR50 after 24-weeks of treatment,which was comparable to the results in the MTX-treated and SIN+MTX-treated *** and gastrointestinal disorders were the main adverse events;however,the ratio of patients suffering from hepatic disorder in the SIN group(1/38)was much lower than that in the MTX(10/39)and SIN+MTX(8/36)groups.A total of 221 serum samples were collected at the four follow-up time points in the three treatments,and the levels of ornithine,citrulline,and arginine were obtained through ultrahigh performance liquid chromatography-quadrupole time-of-flight mass spectrometry(UHPLC-Q-TOF/MS).The serum ornithine level decreased after the 24-week treatment along with a decrease in disease activity,and may reflect therapeutic responses with a sensitivity value of 80%.In conclusion,SIN revealed a comparabl

This paper proposes a new global fixed-time sliding mode control strategy for the trajectory tracking control of uncertain robotic ***,a fixed-time disturbance observer(FTDO) is designed to deal with the adverse effects of model uncertainties and external disturbances in the manipulator *** an adaptive scheme is used and the adaptive FTDO(AFTDO) is developed,so that the priori knowledge of the lumped disturbance is not ***,a new non-singular fast terminal sliding mode(NFTSM) surface is designed by using an arctan function,which helps to overcome the singularity problem and enhance the robustness of the *** on the estimation of the lumped disturbance by the AFTDO,a fixed-time non-singular fast terminal sliding mode controller(FTNFTSMC)is developed to guarantee the trajectory tracking errors converge to zero within a fixed *** settling time is independent of the initial state of the *** addition,the stability of the AFTDO and FTNFTSMC is strictly proved by using Lyapunov ***,the fixed-time NFESM(FTNFTSM) algorithm is validated on a 2-link manipulator and comparisons with other existing sliding mode controllers(SMCs) are *** comparative results confirm that the FTNFTSMC has superior control performance.
