Rheumatoid arthritis(RA),the most common inflammatory arthropathy word wild,is a systemic autoimmune disease that mainly affects the synovium of joints with a high disability *** misregulation has emerged as a fundamental pathogenesis of RA linked to immune cell dysfunction,while targeting immunometabolism provides a new and effective approach to regulate the immune responses and thus alleviate the symptom of ***,natural active compounds from traditional Chinese medicines(TCMs)have potential therapeutic effects on RA and regulating *** this review,in addition to updating the connection between cellular metabolism and cell function in immune cells of RA,we summarized that the anti-inflammatory mechanisms of the potential natural compounds from TCM by targeting metabolic reprogramming of immune cells,and discusses them as a rich resource for providing the new potential paradigm for the treatment of RA.

Sinomenine(SIN)is commonly used as part of rheumatoid arthritis(RA)therapy in China,but there is still no published evidence of the efficacy of SIN *** work investigates the efficacy and safety of SIN in treating RA patients and analyzes the correlation between ornithine level and the alleviation of disease activity in RA *** this 24 week,randomized,placebo-controlled,double-blind clinical trial,people with mild to moderate RA were randomly assigned(1:1:1,stratified by hospital)to receive SIN(120 mg,twice daily),methotrexate(MTX)(10 mg per week),or SIN+MTX *** primary outcome was the proportion of patients who achieved a 50%improvement in the American College of Rheumatology(ACR50)criteria at week 24 and who showed improvement according to the clinical disease activity index(CDAI).In this prospective subgroup analysis,we also assessed whether the 24-week alterations of disease activity in the treatment group were significantly correlated to the levels of blood *** the 135 enrolled participants,38,39,and 36 patients were treated with SIN,MTX,and SIN+MTX,*** the SIN-treated group,52.63%of patients achieved ACR50 after 24-weeks of treatment,which was comparable to the results in the MTX-treated and SIN+MTX-treated *** and gastrointestinal disorders were the main adverse events;however,the ratio of patients suffering from hepatic disorder in the SIN group(1/38)was much lower than that in the MTX(10/39)and SIN+MTX(8/36)groups.A total of 221 serum samples were collected at the four follow-up time points in the three treatments,and the levels of ornithine,citrulline,and arginine were obtained through ultrahigh performance liquid chromatography-quadrupole time-of-flight mass spectrometry(UHPLC-Q-TOF/MS).The serum ornithine level decreased after the 24-week treatment along with a decrease in disease activity,and may reflect therapeutic responses with a sensitivity value of 80%.In conclusion,SIN revealed a comparabl

Transition metal sulfides have great potential as anode mterials for sodium-ion batteries(SIBs)due to their high theoretical specific ***,the inferior intrinsic conductivity and large volume variation during sodiation-desodiation processes seriously affect its high-rate and long-cyde performance,unbeneficial for the application as fast-charging and long-cycling SIBs ***,the three-dimensional porous Cu_(1.81)S/nitrogen-doped carbon frameworks(Cu_(1.81)S/NC)are synthesized by the simple and facile sol-gel and annealing processes,which can accommodate the volumetric expansion of Cu_(1.81)S nanoparticles and accelerate the transmission of ions and electrons during Na^(+)insertion/extraction processes,exhibiting the excellent rate capability(250.6 mA·g^(-1)at 20.0 A·g^(-1))and outstanding cycling stability(70% capacity retention for 6000 cycles at 10.0 A·g^(-1))for ***,the Na-ion full cells coupled with Na_(3)V_(2)(PO_(4))_(3)/C cathode also demonstrate the satisfactory reversible specific capacity of 330.5 mAh·g^(-1)at 5.0 A·g^(-1)and long-cycle performance with the 86.9% capacity retention at 2.0 A·g^(-1)after 750 *** work proposes a promising way for the conversionbased metal sulfides for the applications as fast-charging sodium-ion battery anode.

新近暴发的新冠病毒肺炎(COVID-19)已成为危害全球健康的紧急事件。现有证据表明,新冠病毒(SARS-CoV-2)与其他冠状病毒(如SARS-CoV和MERS-CoV)的基因序列具有相似性。因此,针对现存冠状病毒的引发疾病的机制研究和在治疗SARS时所取得的经验和教训,可咨今天对抗新冠病毒引发疾病的参考。COVID-19患者的临床病理特征提示患者在病情进展过程中通常会经历五个发展阶段:大量病毒感染、免疫系统抑制、细胞因子风暴、多器官损伤及后期的肺纤维化样改变,严重者常导致死亡。早期阻断疾病进展是取得治疗成功的关键。但是,目前尚无针对COVID-19的特效药物或疫苗,世界卫生组织(WHO)正敦促尽快建立新型预防和治疗策略。传统中医药(TCM)对于疫病的防治的实践已经积累了几千年的有用经验,它通过整体调节机体功能发挥疗效。在此次疫情中,中医药作为替代治疗或与西药联合使用,在疫情防控中发挥了重要的作用。本文总结了此次抗疫过程中中国国家和省级机构推荐使用的中药复方和中成药的潜在用途和治疗机制,以期发现其治疗COVID-19的潜在科学内涵。同时,整合应用多种组学及转化医学技术开展基础与临床研究有望进一步证实中药复方的治疗机制。

A model-based estimator design and implementation is described in this paper to undertake combined estimation of vehicle states and tire-road friction *** estimator is designed based on a vehicle model with three degrees of freedom(3-DOF) and the dual extended Kalman filter(DEKF) technique is *** of the estimation is examined and validated by comparing the outputs of the estimator with the responses of the vehicle model in CarSim in three typical road adhesion conditions(high-friction,low-friction,and joint-friction roads).Simulation results demonstrate that the DEKF estimator algorithm designed is able to obtain vehicle states(e.g.,yaw rate and roll angle) as well as road friction coefficients with reasonable accuracy.

BACKGROUND Acquired hemophilia A (AHA) is a rare and potentially severe bleeding disordercaused by circulating autoantibodies against factor Ⅷ (FⅧ). In approximately50% of the patients, the condition is associated with autoimmune diseases,cancers, medication use, pregnancy, and the post-partum period. Bullous pemphigoid(BP) is a chronic autoimmune subepidermal blistering disease associatedwith tissue-bound and circulating autoantibodies against BP antigens 180 (BP180)and 230 (BP230). AHA-associated BP has a high mortality rate;hence, the understandingof this disease must *** SUMMARY A 69-year-old man presented with erythema, blisters, blood blisters, and crustsaccompanied by severe pruritus for more than 20 days, and ecchymosis andswelling on his left upper arm for 3 days. Pathological examination revealed asubepidermal blister that contained eosinophils. Laboratory tests showed that theBP180 autoantibody levels had increased, isolated activated partial thromboplastintime was notably prolonged (115.6 s), and coagulation FⅧ activity wasextremely low (dangerous, and has a high mortality rate. Therefore, its timely diagnosis and effectivetreatment are necessary.

Circular RNAs(circRNAs) play pivotal roles in the development and progression of various diseases, including malignant tumors. However,the biological functions and the underlying mechanisms of many circRNAs remain elusive. In this study, we identified a novel circRNA,circTP63-N, generated through the splicing of exons 2–4 of the TP63 gene in nasopharyngeal carcinoma(NPC). circTP63-N was found to be downregulated in clinical samples of NPC. Both in vitro and in vivo experiments unequivocally demonstrated that circTP63-N inhibits the proliferation and metastasis of NPC cells. Further investigations revealed that circTP63-N interacted with the HSP90AB1 protein, leading to the recruitment of LATS/YAP1 proteins. This, in turn, induced phosphorylation and ubiquitination-dependent degradation of YAP1, resulting in reduced nuclear translocation of YAP1 and inhibition of the transcriptional activation of downstream oncogenic genes, including INHBA, MMP3, and CCNE2. Our findings highlight the identification of circTP63-N, a novel circRNA encoded by an important tumor-relevant gene TP63 and elucidate its molecular mechanism as a tumor suppressor in NPC. These insights offer novel potential molecular markers and therapeutic targets for the clinical diagnosis and treatment of NPC.
