Oxidative stress has been associated with a number of physiological problems in swine,including reduced production ***,although there has been increased research into regulatory mechanisms and antioxidant strategies in relation to oxidative stress-induced pig production,it remains so far largely unsuccessful to develop accurate models and nutritional strategies for specific oxidative stress ***,we discuss the dose and dose intensity of the causes of oxidative stress involving physiological,environmental and dietary factors,recent research models and the antioxidant strategies to provide theoretical guidance for future oxidative stress research in swine.

The electrochemical CO_(2) reduction reaction(CO_(2)RR)holds significant promise in advancing carbon *** catalysts for the electrochemical CO_(2)RR to multi-carbon(C_(2+))products(e.g.,C_(2)H_(4))under industrial-level current density is urgently needed and ***,we report the Cu_(2)O nanoparticles doped with interstitial carbon atoms(denoted as C-Cu_(2)O NPs)for the conversion of CO_(2) to C_(2+)*** interstitial carbon promotes the C-Cu_(2)O NPs to possess abundant unsaturated Cu–O bonds,leading to a high-density Cu^(δ+)(0<δ<1)*** obtained C-Cu_(2)O NPs exhibited significant Faradic efficiency(FE)of C_(2+) products approaching 76.9%and a partial current density reaching 615.2 mA·cm^(–2)under an industrial-level current density of 800 mA·cm^(–2).Furthermore,the efficient electrosynthesis of C_(2)H_(4) achieved an FE of 57.4%with a partial current density of 459.2 mA·cm^(–2).In situ electrochemical attenuated total reflection Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy and in situ Raman spectroscopy analyses revealed that C-Cu_(2)O NPs stabilized the intermediate*CO and facilitated C–C coupling,leading to increased selectivity towards C_(2+) products.

We study the SM-like Higgs boson decays h→MZ in the triplet extended NMSSM(TNMSSM),where M is a vector meson(ρ,ω,φ,j/ψ,Υ).Compared to the minimal supersymmetric standard model(MSSM),the TNMSSM includes two new SU(2) triplets with hypercharge ±1 and an SM gauge singlet,which are coupled to each *** indirect contributions to the h→MZ decays are produced from the effective hyZ vertex,and they are more important than the direct *** results of this work could encourage a detection on h→Zγ at the future high energy colliders for exploring new physics beyond the SM.

Oxidative stress plays an important role in the pathological processes of ischemic *** antioxidants have been shown to protect against cerebralischemia injury by inhibiting oxidative stressboth in vitro and in vivo.20 - Hydroxyecdysone(20E),an ecdysteroid hormone exhibits antioxidative ***, we used an in vitro oxidative damagemodel and an in vivo ischemic model of middle cerebral artery occlusion (MCAO) to investigate the neuroprotective effects of 20Eon cerebralischemiainjury and the related *** of cells with HO led to neuronal injury,intracellular ROS/RNS generation, mitochondrial membrane potential dissipation,cellular antioxidant potential descent,the increase in malondialdehyde(MDA),the end product of lipid peroxidation and the elevation of intracellular[Ca]),which were markedly attenuated by *** of the activation of ASK1 - MKK4/7 - jNK stress signalingpathway and caspase - 3 induced by oxidative stresswere involved in the neuroprotection afforded by ***,20E reduced the expression of iNOSproteinby inhibition of NF -κB ***, the protective effect of 20E was confirmed in vivo study.20E significantly decreased infarct volume,the neurological deficit score,restore antioxidant potential and inhibited the increase in MDA and TUNEL positive and caspase - 3 positive cells in the cerebral cortex in ***,these resultssupport that 20E protects against cerebral ischemia injury through multifunctional cytoprotective pathways.

Conjugated polymers are promising material candidates for many future applications in flexible displays, organic circuits, and sensors. Their performance is strongly affected by their structural conformation including both electrical and optical anisotropy. Particularly for thin layers or close to crucial interfaces, there are few methods to track their organization and functional behaviors. Here we present a platform based on plasmonic nanogaps that can assess the chemical structure and orientation of conjugated polymers down to sub-10 nm thickness using light. We focus on a representative conjugated polymer, poly(3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene) (PEDOT), of varying thickness (2-20 nm) while it undergoes redox in situ. This allows dynamic switching of the plasmonic gap spacer through a metal-insulator transition. Both dark-field (DF) and surface-enhanced Raman scattering (SERS) spectra track the optical anisotropy and orientation of polymer chains close to a metallic interface. Moreover, we demonstrate how this influences both optical and redox switching for nanothick PEDOT devices.

Differences in progress across sustainable development goals(SDGs)are widespread globally;meanwhile,the rising call for prioritizing specific SDGs may exacerbate such ***,how these progress differences would influence global sustainable development has been long ***,we present the first quantitative assessment of SDGs’progress differences globally by adopting the SDGs progress evenness *** results highlight that the uneven progress across SDGs has been a hindrance to sustainable development because(1)it is strongly associated with many public health risks(e.g.,air pollution),social inequalities(e.g.,gender inequality,modern slavery,wealth gap),and a reduction in life expectancy;(2)it is also associated with deforestation and habitat loss in terrestrial and marine ecosystems,increasing the challenges related to biodiversity conservation;(3)most countries with low average SDGs performance show lower progress evenness,which further hinders their fulfillment of SDGs;and(4)many countries with high average SDGs performance also showcase stagnation or even retrogression in progress evenness,which is partly ascribed to the antagonism between climate actions and other *** findings highlight that while setting SDGs priorities may be more realistic under the constraints of multiple global stressors,caution must be exercised to avoid new problems from intensifying uneven progress across ***,our study reveals that the urgent needs regarding SDGs of different regions seem complementary,emphasizing that regional collaborations(e.g.,demand-oriented carbon trading between SDGs poorly performed and well-performed countries)may promote sustainable development achievements at the global scale.

研究一类新型5自由度可重构混联机械手的创新设计和尺度综合问题,该机械手模块由一2自由度球面并联机构和一条通过滑移副与之串接的两转动一移动串联运动链组成。该混联机械手由于将定点转动与相对滑移运动解耦,因此具有工作空间/支链行程比大的特点,适合高速轻载作业,可作为即插即用模块用于搭建不同类型的加工制造装备。在建立2自由度球面并联机构的速度映射模型的基础上,分析该机构的奇异性和各向同性问题,并以速度雅可比矩阵最小奇异值的全域均值为操作性能指标,研究2自由度球面并联机构的尺度综合问题。通过单调性分析揭示出尺度参数对该指标的影响规律,进而将尺度综合问题简化为求解杆长等式约束问题。最后给出一组算例,使该尺度综合方法的有效性得到验证。

Dynamic aggregation of carbon dots self-stabilizes symmetry breaking for exceptional hydrogen production with near-infrared light

Developing new photosystems that integrate broad-band near-infrared(NIR)light harvesting and efficient charge separation is a long-sought goal in the photocatalytic *** this work,we develop a novel photochemical strategy to prepare light-active carbon dots(CDs)under room temperature and discover that the aggregation of CDs can broaden the light absorption to the NIR region due to the electronic couplings between neighboring ***,the dynamic noncovalent interactions within CD aggregates can stabilize symmetry breaking and thus induce large dipole moments for charge separation and ***,the weak non-covalent interactions allow for flexible design of the aggregated degrees and the local electronic structures of CD aggregates,further strengthening NIR-light harvesting and charge separation *** a result,the CD aggregates achieve a record apparent quantum yield of 13.5%at 800 nm,which is one of the best-reported values for NIR-light-driven hydrogen photosynthesis to ***,we have prepared a series of different CDs and also observed that these CDs after aggregation all exhibit outstanding NIR-responsive photocatalytic hydrogen production activity,suggesting the universality of aggregation-enhanced *** discovery opens a new promising platform for using CD aggregates as efficient light absorbers for solar conversion.
