Th. Annual Report on Cardiovascular h.alth.and Diseases in Ch.na(2022) intricate landscape of cardiovascular h.alth.in Ch.na. Th.s is th. fourth.section of th. report with.a specific focus on epidemiology and current management of cardiovascular disease(CVD) in Ch.na. Th.s section of th. report h.gh.igh.s th. epidemiological trends of CVD in Ch.na. It reveal a concerning rise in prevalence, with.approximately 330 million affected individuals, including significant numbers with.stroke, coronary artery disease(CAD), h.art failure, and oth.r conditions. CVD stands as th. primary cause of mortality among both.urban and rural populations, accounting for nearly h.lf of all death. in 2020. Mortality rates are notably h.gh.r in rural areas compared to urban centers since 2009. Wh.le age-standardized mortality rates h.ve decreased, th. absolute number of CVD death. h.s increased, primarily due to population aging. Isch.mic h.art disease, h.morrh.gic and isch.mic strokes are th. leading causes of CVD-related death.. Notably, th. burden of ath.rosclerotic cardiovascular disease h.s risen substantially, with.ath.rosclerotic cardiovascular disease-related death. increasing from 1990 to 2016. Th. incidence of isch.mic stroke and isch.mic h.art disease h.s sh.wn similar increasing trends over th. past th.ee decades. CAD mortality, particularly acute myocardial infarction, h.s been on th. rise, with.h.gh.r mortality rates observed in rural areas since 2016. Th. prevalence of CAD h.s increased significantly, with.over 11 million patients identified in 2013. Studies assessing h.spital performance in managing acute coronary syndrome reveal gaps in adh.rence to guideline-recommended strategies, with.disparities in care quality across h.spitals. h.wever, initiatives like th. Ch.na Patient-centered Evaluative Assessment of Cardiac Events(PEACE)-Retrospective AMI Study and th. Improving Care for Cardiovascular Disease in Ch.na-Acute Coronary Syndrome(CCC-ACS) project aim to improve patien

In th.s study,a two-step meth.d was used to synth.size h.gh.y luminescent AgGaS/ZnS/ZnS quantum dots(QDs).In th. first step,an inner ZnS sh.ll was formed via a one-pot meth.d,wh.ch.resulted in a smaller lattice mismatch.between th. AgGaS core and th. outer ZnS sh.ll,th.reby facilitating th. formation of a th.ck outer *** th. two-step sh.lling process,th. synth.sized AgGaS/ZnS/ZnS QDs sh.wed an excellent ph.toluminescence quantum yield(PLQY)of 96.4%with.a peak wavelength.of 508 nm,repre-senting th. h.gh.st PLQY reported thus far for AgGaS ***,th. effect of h.logen ions in Zn precursors on th. sh.lling process was *** was proposed th.t th. capacity of h.logen ions to coordinate with.th. QDs influenced th. balance between Zn cation diffusion and ZnS sh.lling ***,th. ZnS sh.lling reaction was dominant wh.n ZnCl_(2)was employed,wh.le Zn cation diffusion was th. dominant process under th. I^(−)-rich.*** work provides insigh.s into th. interfacial restructuring during th. ZnS sh.lling and offers a clear map for th. tailored synth.sis of core/sh.ll QDs.

In recent years,th. Pulse Coupled Neural Network(PCNN)h.s fewer parameters,making it more suitable for processing real-time scene tasks such.as image segmentation,wh.ch.lays th. foundation for real-time,effective,and accurate image ***,th. parameters of PCNN are determined by trial and error,wh.ch.limits its *** overcome th.s limitation,an Improved Pulse Coupled Neural Networks(IPCNN)model is proposed in th.s *** IPCNN constructs th. connection between th. static properties of th. input image and th. dynamic properties of th. neurons,and all its parameters are set adaptively,wh.ch.avoids th. inconvenience of manual setting in traditional meth.ds and improves th. adaptability of parameters to different types of *** segmentation results demonstrate th. validity and efficiency of th. proposed self-adaptive parameter setting meth.d of IPCNN on th. gray images and natural images from th. Matlab and Berkeley Segmentation *** IPCNN meth.d ach.eves a better segmentation result with.ut training,providing a new solution for th. real-time transmission of image semantic information.

Compared to conventional electrocatalytic water splitting,electrocatalytic eth.nol oxidation reaction(EOR)along with.h.drogen production is considered a more energy-efficient ***,we prepared a type of novel quaternary alloy catalyst(PtAuCuNi@NF)th.t exh.bits excellent activity for EOR(0.215 V at 10 mA cm^(-2))and h.drogen evolution reaction(h.R)(7 mV at 10 mA cm^(-2)).Experimental results demonstrated th.t both.Cu and Ni modulated th. electronic environment around Pt and *** electron-rich.active center facilitates th. rapid adsorption and dissociation of reactants and intermediates for both.EOR and ***,in th. eth.nol-assisted overall water splitting(E-OWS),a current density of 10 mA cm^(-2)was ach.eved at 0.28 ***,an advanced acid-base self-powered system(A-Bsps)th.t can ach.eve a self-powered voltage of 0.59 V was ***,th. self-driven h.drogen production with.zero external power supply was realized by integrating A-Bsps with.th. E-OWS *** interesting results can provide a feasible strategy for designing and developing advanced nanoalloy-based materials for clean energy integration and use in various fields.
