Localization of the VP2 Protein of Canine Parvovirus Ty.e 2 on the Baculovirus Envelop and Its Immunogenicity.in a Mouse Model

In this study. the full-length VP2 gene of canine parvovirus ty.e 2 (CPV-2) was cloned into the pBacSC vector which possesses baculovirus transmembrane domain (gp64 TM) gene, baculovirus cy.oplasmic domain (gp64 CTD) gene, and green florescence protein (GFP) gene. Baculovirus gp64 TM and gp64 CTD in the pBacSC vector were designed to display.heterologous proteins on the baculovirus envelope. After cloning the VP2 gene of CPV-2 into pBacSC vector, the recombinant plasmid pBacSC-VP2 was transformed into E. coli DH10Bac competent cells to form recombinant bacmid DNA. One recombinant baculovirus BacSC-VP2 that expresses the VP2 protein of CPV-2 was obtained. Confocal microscopy.and immunogold electron microscopy.were used to verify.whether VP2 expressing on baculovirus envelope or cell membrane. Immunization of BALB/c mice with recombinant baculovirus BacSC-VP2, demonstrated that serum from the BacSC-VP2 treated models had higher levels of virus neutralization titers than the control groups. The results show that the recombinant baculovirus BacSC-VP2 can induce a strong immune response in a mouse model, suggesting that the pseudoty.ed baculovirus BacSC-VP2 can serve as a potential vaccine against CPV infections.

Objectives:The majority.of esophageal squamous dy.plasia(ESD)patients progress slowly.while a subset of patients can undergo recurrence rapidly.or progress to invasive cancer even after proper ***,the molecular mechanisms underly.ng these clinical observations are still largely.***:By.sequencing the genomic data of 160 clinical samples from 49 tumor-free ESD patients and 88 esophageal squamous cell carcinoma(ESCC)patients,we demonstrated lower somatic mutation and copy.number alteration(CNA)burden in ESD compared with ***:Cross-species screening and functional assay. identified ACSM5 as a novel driver gene for ESD ***,we revealed that miR-4292 promoted ESD progression and could serve as a non-invasive diagnostic marker for ***:These findings largely.expanded our understanding of ESD genetics and tumorigenesis,which possessed promising significance for improving early.diagnosis,reducing overtreatment,and identify.ng high-risk ESD patients.

The sy.thesis of BaMgAl10O17： Eu^2＋（BAM） phosphors using the sol-gel method and their luminescence properties were reported. The blue-light emitting BAM was sy.thesized using citric acid and ethy.ene gly.ol as chelating materials. Emission of blue-light was obtained from these phosphors. The luminescent intensity.increases as the temperature of heat treatment is increased, This study.investigated the effects of the molar ratio of ethy.ene gly.ol to citric acid （Ф value）, with respect to the phase formation and luminescence properties of BAM. The variation of the Фvalue resulted in the change of the sol-gel reaction mechanism and the microstructures of the resultant powders. An increase in Фvalue leads to an increase in the rate of BAM phase formation. The photoluminescent intensity.of the prepared phosphors increases with heating temperatures because of enhanced cry.tallization.

Identification of Maximum Road Friction Coefficient and Optimal Slip Ratio Based on Road Ty.e Recognition

The identification of maximum road friction coefficient and optimal slip ratio is crucial to vehicle dy.amics and ***,it is alway. not easy.to identify.the maximum road friction coefficient with high robustness and good adaptability.to various vehicle operating *** existing investigations on robust identification of maximum road friction coefficient are *** this paper,an identification approach based on road ty.e recognition is proposed for the robust identification of maximum road friction coefficient and optimal slip *** instantaneous road friction coefficient is estimated through the recursive least square with a forgetting factor method based on the single wheel model,and the estimated road friction coefficient and slip ratio are grouped in a set of samples in a small time interval before the current time,which are updated with time *** current road ty.e is recognized by.comparing the samples of the estimated road friction coefficient with the standard road friction coefficient of each ty.ical road,and the minimum statistical error is used as the recognition principle to improve identification *** the road ty.e is recognized,the maximum road friction coefficient and optimal slip ratio are *** numerical simulation tests are conducted on two ty.ical road friction conditions（single-friction and joint-friction）by.using CarSim *** test results show that there is little identification error between the identified maximum road friction coefficient and the pre-set value in *** proposed identification method has good robustness performance to external disturbances and good adaptability.to various vehicle operating conditions and road variations,and the identification results can be used for the adjustment of vehicle active safety.control strategies.

Novel Evaluation Method of Vehicle Suspension Performance Based on Concept of Wheel Turn Center

The current research of suspension performance evaluation is mixed in the evaluation of vehicle handling and ride comfort. However, it is lack of a direct and independent evaluation method for suspension performance. In this paper, a novel wheel turn center method is proposed to evaluate the suspension performance. This method is based on the concept and application of wheel turn center （WTC） and sprung mass turn center （SPTC）. The vehicle body.and each wheel are regarded to be independent rigid bodies and have their own turn centers which reflect respective steering motions and responses. Since the suspension is the link between vehicle body.and wheels, the consistence between the sprung mass turn center and the wheel turn center reflects the effect and performance of the suspension sy.tem. Firstly. the concept and appropriate calculation method of WTC and SPTC are developed. Then the degree of inconsistence between WTC and SPTC and the time that they.achieve consistence, when the vehicle experiences from transient steering to steady.steering state, are proposed to evaluate suspension performance. The suspension evaluation tests are conducted under different vehicle velocities and lateral accelerations by.using CarSim software. The simulation results show that the inconsistence of steering motion between vehicle body.and wheels are mainly.at high speeds and low lateral accelerations. Finally. based on the proposed evaluation indexes, the influences of different suspension characteristic parameters on suspension performance and their matches to improve steering coordination are discussed. The proposed wheel turn center method provides a guidance and potential application for suspension evaluation and optimization.

Sedation-associated hiccups in adults undergoing gastrointestinal endoscopy.and colonoscopy

AIM:To investigate whether the incidence of hiccups in patients undergoing esophagogastroduodenoscopy.(EGD) or same-day.bidirectional endoscopy.(EGD and colonoscopy.BDE) with sedation is different from those without sedation in terms of quantity.duration and ty.ical onset ***:Consecutive patients scheduled for elective EGD or same-day.BDE at the gastrointestinal endoscopy.unit or the health examination center were allocated to two groups:EGD without sedation (Group A) and BDE with sedation (Group B).The use of sedation was based on the patients' *** participated in this study.by.administrating sedative drugs as usual.A single experienced gastroenterologist performed both the EGD and the colonoscopic examinations for all the *** incidence,duration and onset time of hiccups were measured in both *** addition,the association between clinical variables and hiccups were ***:A total of 435 patients were enrolled in the *** incidences of hiccups in the patients with and without sedation were significantly.different (20.5% and 5.1%,respectively..The use of sedation for patients undergoing endoscopy.was still significantly.associated with an increased risk of hiccups (adjusted odds ratio:8.79,P y.compared to those receiving 1 mg midazolam (P = 0.0028).The patients with the diagnosis of gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) were prone to develop hiccups (P = 0.018).CONCluSION:Male patients undergoing EGD or BDE with sedation are significantly.more likely.to suffer from hiccups compared to those without *** was significantly.associated with an increased risk of ***,patients with GERD are prone to develop hiccups.

Objective： To study.whether the ethanol extract of Phellinus merrillii（EPM） has chemopreventive potential against liver carcinogenesis. Methods： Thirty.male Spraque-Dawley.rats were randomly.divided into control group, EPM control group, hepatocarcinoma control group, low-dose EPM group and high-dose EPM group, 6 in each group. Using the Solt and Farber protocol in a rat model of hepatocarcinogenesis, the chemopreventive effect of EPM on diethy.nitrosamine（DEN）-initiated, 2-acety.aminofluorene（2-AAF） and partial hepatectomy.PH）-promoted liver carcinogenesis in rats was evaluated. Basic pathophy.iological and histological examinations, together with the serum levels of glutamic oxaloacetic transaminase（s GOT）, glutamic py.uvic transaminase（s GPT） and gamma-glutamy. transpeptidase（γ-GT） were measured. Results： Treatment of EPM at the concentration of 2 g/kg body.weight in the diet for 8 weeks clearly.prevented the development of carcinogenesis and reduced the levels of s GOT, s GPT, and serum γ-GT of rats as compared with the hepatocarcinoma control group（P〈0.05 or P〈0.01）. These phenoty.es were accompanied by.a significant increase in natural killer cell activity. Conclusion： EPM showed a strong liver preventive effect against DEN＋2-AAF＋PH-induced hepatocarcinogenesis in a rat model.
