Fe_(3)O_(4)and Cu_(2)O were successively immobilized on alkali-treated straw,and the magnetically separable straw@Fe_(3)O_(4)/Cu_(2)O composite was *** straw@Fe_(3)O_(4)/Cu_(2)O was characterized by Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy,X-ray diffraction,scanning electron microscopy,X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy and vibrating sample magnetometry,*** performance of the straw@Fe_(3)O_(4)/Cu_(2)O was evaluated by measuring the degradation of methyl orange(MO)under irradiation of visible *** introduction of Fe3O4 not only endowed the straw@Fe_(3)O_(4)/Cu_(2)O with magnetic separation feature but also significantly enhanced photocatalytic activity because Fe3O4 could prevent recombination of hole-electron *** active species capture experiment showed that holes(h+),hydroxyl(∙OH)and superoxide(∙O2ˉ)radicals all took part in the MO *** addition,the photocatalytic mechanism of straw@Fe_(3)O_(4)/Cu_(2)O was proposed based on the experimental *** five cycles for the photodegradation of MO,the straw@Fe_(3)O_(4)/Cu_(2)O still displayed good photocatalytic activity,suggesting that the as-prepared composite had great potential for practical use in wastewater treatment.

To improve location speed,accuracy and reliability,this paper proposes a fault location method for distribution networks based on the time matrix of fault traveling ***,an inherent time matrix is established according to the normalized topology of the target distribution network,and a post-fault time matrix is obtained by extracting the head data of initial waves from traveling wave detection devices.A time determination matrix is then obtained using the difference operation between the two *** features of the time determination matrix are used for fault section identification and fault distance calculation,to accurately locate *** method is modified by considering economic benefits,through the optimal configuration of detection devices of traveling waves when calculating fault *** results show that the proposed method has good adaptation with higher fault location accu-racy than two other typical *** can deal with faults on invalid branches,and the error rate is under 0.5%even with connected DGs.

We used an online aerosol-climate model to study the equilibrium climate response of the East Asian summer monsoon （EASM） to increases in anthropogenic emissions of sulfate, organic carbon, and black carbon aerosols from 1850 to 2000. Our results show that each of these aerosol species has a different effect on the EASM as a result of changes in the local sea-land thermal contrast and atmospheric circulation. The increased emission of sulfate aerosol leads to a decrease in the thermal contrast between the land and ocean, a southward shift of the East Asian subtropical jet, and significant northerly wind anomalies at 850 hPa over eastern china and the ambient oceans, markedly dampening the EASM. An increase in organic carbon aerosol results in pronounced surface cooling and the forma- tion of an anomalous anticyclone over the oceans north of 30°N. These effects cause a slight increase in the sea-land thermal contrast and southerly flow anomalies to the west of the anticyclonic center, strengthening the northern EASM. An increase in organic carbon emission decreases the sea-land thermal contrast over southern china, which weakens the southern EASM. The response of the summer 850-hPa winds and rainfall over the East Asian monsoon region to an increase in black carbon emission is generally consistent with the response to an increase in organic carbon. The increase in black carbon emission leads to a strengthening of the northern EASM north of 35°N and a slight weakening of the southern EASM south of 35°N. The simulated response of the EASM to the increase in black carbon emission is unchanged when the emission of black carbon is scaled up by five times its year 2000 levels, although the intensities of the response is enhanced. The increase in sulfate emission primarily weakens the EASM, whereas the increases in black carbon and organic carbon emissions mitigate weakening of the northern EASM.

Big data is a highlighted challenge for many fields with the rapid expansion of large-volume, complex, and fast-growing sources of data. Mining from big data is required for exploring the essence of data and providing meaningful information. To this end, we have previously introduced the theory of physical field to explore relations between objects in data space and proposed a framework of data field to discover the underlying distribution of big data. This paper concerns an overview of big data mining by the use of data field. It mainly discusses the theory of data field and different aspects of applications including feature selection for high-dimensional data, clustering, and the recognition of facial expression in human-computer interaction. In these applications, data field is employed to capture the intrinsic distribution of data objects for selecting meaningful features, fast clustering, and describing variation of facial expression. It is expected that our contributions would help overcome the problems in accordance with big data.

With the high penetration of renewable energies in modern power systems,deterministic coordination algorithms are facing two major problems:one is degradation in accuracy if fewer scenarios are utilized for uncertainty evaluation while second is the high computational time if a high number of scenarios are considered for better accuracy・In both cases,the efficiency of the algorithm is degraded・To solve these problems in coupled transmission system and distribution systems(TSDS),probabilistic coordination algorithms are adopted to solve with less *** this paper,a TSDS probabilistic coordination model is proposed to solve the coordinated security-constrained unit commitment problem.A mean and standard deviation matching based probabilistic analytical target cascading algorithm has been utilized for evaluation of TSDS coordination *** of solving each scenario as a separate problem,the proposed algorithm considers a single coordination problem with probabilistic characteristics as shared variables and hence,achieves fast convergence・Different case studies are performed to prove the efficacy of the proposed *** verify that the proposed algorithm reduces computational time and resources for large-scale systems.

Comparison of Bottom-up Filling in Electroless Plating with an Addition of PEG, PPG and EPE

The bottom-up filling capabilities of electroless copper plating bath with an addition of additives, such as poly- ethylene glycol （PEG）, polypropylene glycol （PPG） and triblock copolymers of PEG and PPG with ethylene oxide terminal blocks termed EPE, were investigated by the cross-sectional scanning electron microscopy （SEM） obser- vation of sub-micrometer trenches. Though three additives had inhibition for electroless copper deposition, the suppression degrees of three additives were different. EPE-2000 had the strongest suppression for electroless copper deposition, and the suppression of PEG-2000 was the weakest. The bottom-up filling capability of electroless copper was investigated in a plating bath containing different additives with the concentration of 2.0 mg/L. The cross-sectional SEM observation indicated the trenches with the width of 280 nm and the depth of 475 nm were all completely filled by the plating bath with an addition of EPE-2000, but the trenches were not completely filled by the plating bath with an addition of PEG-2000 or PPG-2000, and some voids appeared. Linear sweep voltammetry measurement indicated that three additives all inhibited the cathodic reduction reaction and the anodic oxidation reaction, and the inhibition of EPE-2000 was the strongest among three additives, which agreed with that of the deposition rate of electroless copper. Significant differences in surface roughness of deposited copper film were observed by UV-visible near-infrared for different suppressors, and the bright and smooth of deposited copper film were in accordance with the inhibition of three additives.
