More accurate and reliable estimation of residual strength friction angle(/r)of clay is crucial in many geotechnical engineering applications,including riverbank stability analysis,design,and assessment of earthen dam slope ***,a general predictive equation for/r,with applicability in a wide range of effective parameters,remains an important research *** goal of this study is to develop a more accurate equation for/r using the pareto Optimal Multi-gene Genetic Programming(POMGGP)approach by evaluating a comprehensive dataset of 290 experiments compiled from published literature databases worldwide.A new framework for integrated equation derivation proposed that hybridizes the Subset Selection of Maximum Dissimilarity Method(SSMD)with Multi-gene Genetic Programming(MGP)and pareto-optimality(PO)to find an accurate equation for/r with wide range *** final predictive equation resulted from POMGGP modeling was assessed in comparison with some previously published machine learning-based equations using statistical error analysis criteria,Taylor diagram,revised discrepancy ratio(RDR),and scatter *** on the results,the POMGGP has the lowest uncertainty with U95=2.25,when compared with artificial Neural Network(ANN)(U95=2.3),Bayesian Regularization Neural Network(BRNN)(U95=2.94),Levenberg-Marquardt Neural Network(LMNN)(U95=3.3),and Differential Evolution Neural Network(DENN)(U95=2.37).The more reliable results in estimation of/r derived by POMGGP with reliability 59.3%,and resiliency 60%in comparison with ANN(reliability=30.23%,resiliency=28.33%),BRNN(reliability=10.47%,resiliency=10.39%),LMNN(reliability=19.77%,resiliency=20.29%)and DENN(reliability=27.91%,resiliency=24.19%).Besides the simplicity and ease of application of the new POMGGP equation to a broad range of conditions,using the uncertainty,reliability,and resilience analysis confirmed that the derived equation for/r significantly outperformed other existing machine learning

The reaction of dimedone with various aromatic aldehydes produces 2,2＇-arylmethylene bis （3-hydroxy-5,5-dimethyl-2- cyclohexene-l-one） in excellent yields. The reactions occur in water as solvent at room temperature and avoiding the addition of any catalyst. The workup procedure is very simple and the products do not required further purification.

In this paper,first we introduce n-polygroups and characterize 2-polygroups of order 4 up to *** using 2-polygroups we introduce 2-Krasner hyperfields and we show that there exactly exists one 2-Krasner hyperfield of order ***,we propose a hyperfield of order 4 which is not as a quotient hyperfield F/***,some programs written in MATLAB which are based on obtained results compute the number of polygroups,weak polygroups and Krasner hyperfields of order4 up to isomorphism.

Cold thermal energy storage is an active method for reducing the peak electrical demand and electricity consumption of air *** paper investigates two different cases:partial operating mode-load levelling(POM-LL)and demand-limiting mode(DLM).4E(energy,exergy,economic,environment)analyses along with a multi-objective optimization process based on a genetic algorithm is applied to determine optimal design *** efficiency,total annual cost and payback-period time are considered as objective functions in this *** results have shown that POM and DLM decreased the electricity consumption by 10.36%and 11.29%,respectively,resulting in raising the annual costs by 11.08%and 11.42%.Also,their annual payback periods were 4.36 and 4.18 years *** addition,using off-peak hours instead of on-peak hours for electricity consumption and reducing electricity consump-tion are the two main ways of decreasing CO_(2) emissions during electricity ***,the CO_(2) emissions through POM and DLM are 13.31%and 13.72%less than those of conventional systems,respectively.

Objective： To examine the relaxant effects of hydro-ethanolic, macerated aqueous （MA） and lipid- free macerated aqueous （LFMA） extract of Tymus vulgaris on tracheal chains of guinea pigs. Methods： The relaxant effects of five cumulative concentrations of each extract （0.4, 0.8, 1.2, 1.6 and 2.0 g/100 mL） were compared with saline as negative control and five cumulative concentrations of theophylline （0.1, 0.2, 0.4, 0.6 and 0.8 mmol/L） on precontracted tracheal smooth muscle of guinea pig with 60 mmol/L KCl （group 1） and 10 μmol/L methacholine （group 2, n=6 for each group）. Results： In group 1 all concentrations of theophylline, three higher concentrations of hydro-ethanolic, two concentrations of LFMA and last concentration of MA extracts showed significant relaxant effects compared with that of saline （P〈0.05 or P〈0.01）. Two lower concentrations of LFMA and all concentrations of MA except higher one caused contraction compared with saline （P〈0.05 or 0.01）. In group 2 experiments, all concentrations of theophylline, hydro-ethanolic, MA and LFMA extracts showed significant relaxant effects compared to that of saline （P〈0.05 or P〈0.01）. In both groups, the relaxant effect of all concentrations of hydro-ethanolic extract were significantly higher than most concentrations of others （P〈0.05 or P〈0.01）. The relaxant effect of different concentrations of three extracts were significantly greater in group 2 compared with group 1 experiments （all P〈0.01）. There were significantly positive correlations between the relaxant effects and concentrations for theophylline and all extracts in both groups （P〈0.05 or P〈0.01）. Conclusion： Hydro-ethanolic extract has a potent weaker relaxant effect for other extracts from Tymus vulgaris on tracheal chains of guinea pigs.

Biological invasions can alter soil properties within the range of their introduced,leading to impacts on ecosystem services,ecosystem functions,and *** better understand the impacts of biological invasions on soil,we compared topsoil physiochemical properties at sites with invasive alien tree species(Prosopis juliflora),native tree species(Prosopis cineraria,Acacia tortilis,and Acacia ehrenbergiana),and mixed tree species in Hormozgan Province of Iran in May *** this study,we collected 40 soil samples at a depth of 10 cm under single tree species,including ***,***,***,and ***,as well as under mixed tree *** results showed that organic matter,moisture,potassium,calcium,nitrogen,and magnesium in topsoil at sites with *** and *** growing in combination with *** were higher than that at sites where *** was present(Ppared to that at sites with just *** and *** conductivity was lower at sites with *** and *** growing in combination with ***,and it was higher at sites with mixed Acacia and *** *** on the generally more positive effect of native Acacia and *** on topsoil physiochemical properties as compared to the ***,afforestation with native tree species is preferable for soil *** addition,due to the negative effects of *** on soil properties,*** spread should be better managed.

In this numerical study,natural flow and heat transfer of nanofluids with Al2O3,TiO2,Cu and CNT nanoparticles in a vertical channel with dimpled fins at Rayleigh number(Ra)of Ra=3.25×107 to Ra=1×108 are investigated by using the finite volume *** obtained results revealed that,using CNT in volume fractions of 2%and 4%leads to significant heat transfer and atφ=6%,using TiO2 nanoparticles has a great effect on Nu number ***,using solid nanoparticles in base fluid causes more uniform heat transfer distribution,especially in areas close to heated surface and by adding more volume fraction in base fluid,temperature level *** general,according to temperature contours,reduction of wall temperature depends on the increase of Ra and volume fraction and the type of solid nanoparticles.

In this paper,we propose an interior-point algorithm based on a wide neighborhood for convex quadratic semidefinite optimization *** the Nesterov–Todd direction as the search direction,we prove the convergence analysis and obtain the polynomial complexity bound of the proposed *** the algorithm belongs to the class of large-step interior-point algorithms,its complexity coincides with the best iteration bound for short-step interior-point *** algorithm is also implemented to demonstrate that it is efficient.
