cis-1,3,4,6-Tetranitrooctahydroimidazo-[4,5 d]imidazole(BCHMX)is an advanced energetic compound that expected to spread worldwide in the near ***,no approved remote detection methods were reported in current literature for this material,we performed hyper-spectral imaging and laser induced fluorescence(LIf)to a BCHMX sample under low laser fluence for determining the optimum laser wavelength used in any future BCHMX-LIf based remote detection *** this purpose,an experimental setup consisted of a sun spectrum lamp and hyper-spectral camera was built to illuminate and image white powder samples of BCHMX in comparison with the traditional explosives,HMX(1,3,5,7-tetranitro-1,3,5,7-tetraazacyclooctane),RDX(1,3,5-trinitro-1,3,5-triazacyclohexane),PeTN(2,2-Bis[(nitroxy)methyl]propane-1,3-diyldinitrate).The imaging reveals strong BCHMX sample absorption contrast among other samples at wavelength ranging from 400 to 410 *** light source was replaced by a 405 nm laser diode illuminator,a strong BCHMX sample LIf at the spectral range from 425 to 700 nm was observed under low laser fluence condition of 0.1 mJ/cm^(2).finally,we demonstrated successfully the ability of the 405 nm LIf and the hyperspectral imaging technique to detect finger print traces of BCHMX on white cellulose fabric from a distance of 15 m and a detection limit of 1 mg/cm^(2).

Buried water pipelines are vulnerable to fail or break due to excessive loading or ground *** evaluation of pipe performance and serviceability relies on the proper understanding of pipe-soil interactions(PSI).Analytical methods are important approaches to studying ***,a systematic and thorough literature review to analyze the existing research trends,technological achievements and future research opportunities is not *** work investigates analytical methods that analyze the stress and deformation of pipes in terms of cross-sectional,transverse and longitudinal PSI ***,scientometric analysis is performed to acquire relevant research works from online databases and analyze the existing data of influential authors,productive research sources and frequent key word occurrence in the fields of ***,a qualitative discussion is performed in the three categories of PSI:(1)cross-sectional,including ovalization and circumferential behaviours;(2)transverse,including seismic fault crossing,weak soil zones,ground settlement and pipe uplift;and(3)***,six research opportunities are discussed,including the role of friction in cross-sectional deformation,combined effects of bending and compression,choice of soil reaction models and calibration of key parameters,effect of pipe flaws,soil spatial variability and behaviours of curved *** study helps beginners familiarize themselves with PSI analytical methods and provides experienced researchers with ideas for future research directions.

Objective The management of hypertrophic obstructive cardiomyopathy is not well-defined in the *** therapy with 3-blockers and calcium-channel blockers are the mainstay therapy for symptomatic *** is usually reserved for patients who fail medical therapy. Alcohol septal ablation has been recently introduced as an alternative therapy. Patients and Methods Ninety-five patients older than 65 years of age were included. All patients have completed one year of follow-up. The mean age was 72 ± 5 years, 47 patients were females, 10 patients with history of hypertension. Results The mean rise in CK post alcohol ablation was 1052 ± 430IU. The mean NyHA class decreased from 2.9 ± 0.6 to 1.2 ± 0.5 ( P ＜ 0.001 ). The exercise duration on treadmill testing increased from 328 ± 260 s to 349 ± 39 s. The mean resting left ventricular outflow tract gradient decreased from 65 ± 37 mmHg to 16 ± 29 mmHg at one year. One patient died in the hospital after coronary artery bypass grafting that was done subsequent to spiral dissection of the left anterior descending artery during ablation. Thirteen patients developed complete heart block immediately after ablation requiring pacing therapy. Conclusions Alcohol septal ablation seems to be an effective alternative therapeutic option for elderly patients with hypertrophic obstructive cardiomyopathy. Larger studies with longer follow-up are needed.

Objective: Studying sub endometrial vascularity and blood flow in cases using intrauterine contraceptive devices for contraception with and without menorrhagia compared to cases not using intrauterine contraceptive devices. Methods: Three hundred and fifteen women attending gynecology and family planning outpatient clinics in the maternity hospital, Ain Shams University were included in the study. They were classified into three groups, 105 women using IUCD with menorrhagia (group I), 105 women using IUCD without menorrhagia (group II), and 105 normal controls not using IUCD (group III). After excluding local causes for bleeding, blood disease or any medical disorders, transvaginal ultrasound including three dimensional power Doppler (3DPD) ultrasound was done for all women. Right and left uterine artery pulsatility index (PI) and resistance index (RI) were calculated, subednometrial blood flow RI and PI were obtained then 3DPD Vascular indices (VI, fI and VfI) of subendometrial blood flow were obtained for all cases. Statistical analysis was done to compare between the three groups. Results: A significant statistical difference was found as regards subendometrial vascularity indices, while there was no difference as regards bilateral uterine arteries Doppler indices in the three groups. Conclusion: Subendometrial vascularity in cases of menorrhagia with IUCD was markedly higher than in cases without menorrhagia and cases with no IUCD. 3DPD may be used for selection of cases prior to insertion of IUCD.

In recent times,scientists and engineers have been most attracted to electrically conducted nanofluids due to their numerous applications in various fields of science and *** example,they are used in cancer treatment(hyperthermia),magnetic resonance imaging(MRI),drugdelivery,and magnetic refrigeration(MR).Bearing in mind the significance and importance of electrically conducted nanofluids,this article aims to study an electrically conducted water-based nanofluid containing carbon nanotubes(CNTs).CNTs are of two types,single-wall carbon nanotubes(SWCNTs)and multiple-wall carbon nanotubes(MWCNTs).The CNTs(SWCNTs and MWCNTs)have been dispersed in regular water as base fluid to form waterCNTs *** Brinkman Type nanofluid model is developed in terms of time-fractional *** ramped heating and sinusoidal oscillations conditions have been taken at the *** model has been solved for exact analytical solutions via the fractional Laplace transform *** exact solutions have been graphically studied to explore the physics of various pertinent flow parameters on velocity and temperature *** empirical results reveal that the temperature and velocity fields decreased with increasing values of fractional parameters due to variation in thermal and momentum boundary *** is also indicated that the isothermal velocity and temperature are higher than ramped velocity and temperature.

Diode end-pumped solid-state lasers have the potential to yield high quality laser beams with high efficiency for laser range finding and warning receiver applications as well as day and night military laser designation systems. In this paper we presents theoretical calculations using Advanced Dynamics Professional LASCAD software and experimental studies for a high power pigtailed fiber diode laser module of 8 W operating at 808 nm with a specially designed high efficiency cooling system, end pumped high-efficiency Nd:yVO4 laser of 3 × 3 × 10 mm rod and overall cavity length of 44 mm. To the best of our knowledge a self Q-switching effects was generated in Nd:yVO4 laser by changing the cavity dimensions and the position of the intracavity KTP crystal at certain regime of operation for the first time, in which the cavity length is reduced to be 30 mm and the distance between Nd:yVO4 rod and KTP crystal is only 1mm. Self Q-switched laser pulse at 532 nm with high peak power of 96 W, pulse width of 88 ns at fWHM and repetition rate of 400 kHz was achieved. experimental studies of a passive Q-switched Nd:yVO4 laser using Cr:yAG crystal with three different transmissions of 30%, 40% and 70% were investigated. Passive Q-switched laser pulse at 1064 nm and narrow line width of less than 1.5 nm with highest peak power of nearly 18 kW, short pulse width of less than 4 ns at fWHM and higher repetition rate of 45 kHz using Cr:yAG with transmission of 30% was achieved for the first time.

The electrochemical behavior of duloxetine HCl (***) at a carbon paste electrode (CPe) was achieved by cyclic voltammetry and a mechanism of its oxidation was reported and illustrated. A sensitive linear sweep and square-wave adsorptive anodic stripping voltammetry methods were described for trace determination of ***. Introduction: ***, N-methyl-3-(nap-thalen-1- yloxy)-3-(thiophene-2-yl) propan-1-amine hydrochloride is a selective serotonin-norepinephrine reuptake inhibitor (SNRI) originally developed as an antidepressant and is currently recommended for maintenance treatment of major depressive disorder. Methods: electrochemical behavior was studied using cyclic voltammetric method, and the analytical application was studied using linear sweep and square wave voltammetric methods. Solution pH has been measured by pH meter. Results: The process on the surface of carbon paste electrode was found to be irreversible and diffusion-controlled. The number of proton and electron transferred were calculated. Possible reaction mechanism taking place on the surface of electrode was proposed. Calibration plot constructed using square wave voltammetric technique was used for quantitative analysis in pharmaceutical and human serum samples. Limit of detection (LOD) and limit of quantification (LOQ) were calculated. Conclusions: In the present work, we described the electrochemical behavior of *** drug. Two precise linear sweep and square wave adsorptive anodic stripping voltammetry methods have been described for its trace quantitation in pharmaceutical formulation and human serum. The method shows the development of a sensor for selective and sensitive determination of ***.

Classification of electroencephalogram(eeG)signals for humans can be achieved via artificial intelligence(AI)***,the eeG signals associated with seizure epilepsy can be detected to distinguish between epileptic and non-epileptic *** this perspective,an automated AI technique with a digital processing method can be used to improve these *** paper proposes two classifiers:long short-term memory(LSTM)and support vector machine(SVM)for the classification of seizure and non-seizure eeG *** classifiers are applied to a public dataset,namely the University of Bonn,which consists of 2 classes–seizure and *** addition,a fast Walsh-Hadamard Transform(fWHT)technique is implemented to analyze the eeG signals within the recurrence space of the ***,Hadamard coefficients of the eeG signals are obtained via the ***,the fWHT is contributed to generate an efficient derivation of seizure eeG recordings from non-seizure eeG ***,a k-fold cross-validation technique is applied to validate the performance of the proposed *** LSTM classifier provides the best performance,with a testing accuracy of 99.00%.The training and testing loss rates for the LSTM are 0.0029 and 0.0602,respectively,while the weighted average precision,recall,and f1-score for the LSTM are 99.00%.The results of the SVM classifier in terms of accuracy,sensitivity,and specificity reached 91%,93.52%,and 91.3%,*** computational time consumed for the training of the LSTM and SVM is 2000 and 2500 s,*** results show that the LSTM classifier provides better performance than SVM in the classification of eeG ***,the proposed classifiers provide high classification accuracy compared to previously published classifiers.
