Natural variation in MORE GRAINS 1 regulates grain number and grain weight in rice

Grain yield is determined mainly by grain number and grain *** this study,we identified and characterized MORE GRAINS1(MOG1),a gene associated with grain number and grain weight in rice(Oryza sativa L.),through map-based *** of MOG1 increased grain yield by 18.6%-22.3%under field *** determined that MOG1,a bHLH transcription factor,interacts with OsbHLH107 and directly activates the expression of LONELY GUY(LOG),which encodes a cytokinin-activating enzyme and the cell expansion gene EXPANSIN-LIKE1(EXPLA1),positively regulating grain number per panicle and grain *** variations in the promoter and coding regions of MOG1 between Hap-LNW and Hap-HNW alleles resulted in changes in MOG1 expression level and transcriptional activation,leading to functional *** analysis revealed that Hap-HNW,which results in a greater number and heavier grains,has undergone strong selection but has been poorly utilized in modern lowland rice *** summary,the MOG1-OsbHLH107 complex activates LOG and EXPLA1 expression to promote cell expansion and division of young panicles through the cytokinin pathway,thereby increasing grain number and grain *** findings suggest that Hap-HNW could be used in strategies to breed high-yielding temperate japonica lowland rice.

播期和施氮量对中籼杂交稻群体质量、产量及氮素吸收利用的影响

以中籼杂交稻Y两优900为试验材料,研究播期[4月15日(D1)、4月30日(D2)、5月15日(D3)、5月30日(D4)、6月14日(D5)]和施氮量[0 kg/hm^(2)(N0)、150 kg/hm^(2)(N150)和300 kg/hm^(2)(N300)]对中籼杂交稻群体质量、产量和氮素吸收利用的影响,以期探寻豫南稻区最适播期和施氮量。结果表明,播期和施氮量对中籼杂交稻产量的影响均达到显著水平,产量随播期推迟先升高后降低,以D2播期最高,D5播期最低,D2播期产量较D5播期提高126.42%。D2播期产量随着施氮量的增加而升高。整体来看,D2N300处理产量最高,其次是D1N300、D2N150处理。总叶面积指数和高效叶面积指数均随播期推迟先升高后降低,总叶面积指数和低效叶面积指数均随着施氮量的增加而增加。整体来看,总叶面积指数以D3N300处理最高,其次是D4N300、D2N300处理;高效叶面积指数以D3N300处理最高,其次是D4N300、D1N300处理;低效叶面积指数以D2N300处理最高,其次是D4N300、D3N300处理。粒数叶比和粒质量叶比均随着播期的推迟而降低,且随着施氮量的增加而降低。整体来看,粒数叶比以D1N0处理最高,其次是D2N0、D3N0处理;粒质量叶比以D1N0处理最高,其次是D3N0、D2N0处理。D1、D2、D3播期抽穗期和成熟期茎叶氮含量分别较D5播期增加12.81%、14.77%、13.02%和10.64%、25.08%、30.40%,且各个播期抽穗期和成熟期茎叶氮含量均随着施氮量增加而增加。抽穗期和成熟期穗氮含量表现为D1、D2播期显著高于D3、D4、D5播期,且各个播期N150、N300处理穗氮含量总体上均高于N0处理。氮素籽粒生产效率随着播期推迟先升高后下降,N150和N300处理均以D2播期最高,D5播期最低,且N150处理氮素籽粒生产效率明显高于N300处理。综上,播期和施氮量通过调节叶面积、粒叶比、植株氮含量和氮素籽粒生产效率影响产量,中籼杂交稻Y两优900在豫南地区丰产高效的适宜播种期是4月30日(D2),适宜施氮量为150~300 kg/hm^(2)。

Modification of alternative splicing in bovine somatic cell nuclear transfer embryos using engineered CRISPR-Cas13d

Animal cloning can be achieved by somatic cell nuclear transfer(SCNT),but the resulting live birth rate is relatively *** previously improved the efficiency of bovine SCNT by exogenous melatonin treatment or by overexpression of lysine-specific demethylase 4D(KDM4D)and 4E(KDM4E).In this study,we revealed abundant alternative splicing(AS)transitions during fertilization and embryonic genome activation,and demonstrated abnormal AS in bovine SCNT embryos compared with in vitro fertilized *** used the CRISPR-Cas13d RNA-targeting system to target cis-elements of ABI2 and ZNF106 pre-m RNA to modify AS,thus reducing the ratio of abnormal-isoform SCNT embryos by nearly 50%and achieving a high survival rate(11%–19%).These results indicate that this system may provide an efficient method for bovine cloning,while also paving the way for further improvements in the efficiency of SCNT.

Curing the vulnerable heterointerface via organic-inorganic hybrid hole transporting bilayers for efficient inverted perovskite solar cells

To promote the practices of perovskite photovoltaics,it requires to develop efficient perovskite solar cells(PVSCs)standing long-time operation under the adverse ***,we demonstrate that the tailor-made conjugated polymers as conductive adhesives stabilized the originally redox-reactive heterointerface between perovskite and metal oxide,facilitating the access of efficient and stable inverted *** was revealed that bithiophene and phenyl alternating conjugated polymers with partial glycol chains atop of the metal oxide layer has resulted in effective organic-inorganic hybrid hole transporting bilayers,which allow maintaining efficient hole extraction and transport,meanwhile preventing halide migration to directly contact with the nickel oxide(NiO_(x))*** a result,the corresponding inverted PVSCs with the organic-inorganic hole transporting bilayers have achieved an excellent power conversion efficiency of 23.22%,outperforming 20.65% of bare NiO_(x)-based ***,the encapsulated PVSCs with organic-inorganic bilayers exhibited the excellent photostability with 91% of the initial efficiency after 1000-h one-sun equivalent illumination in ambient ***,this work provides new insights into stabilizing the vulnerable heterointerface for perovskite solar cells.

不同播期温光条件对籼稻产量和品质的影响

为明确豫南稻区籼稻高产优质的温光条件,采用大田试验,以3个籼稻品种(兆优5431、中浙优8号和Y两优900)为试验材料,连续2 a研究不同播期[4月15日(T1)、4月30日(T2)、5月15日(T3)、5月30日(T4)和6月14日(T5)]下籼稻抽穗至成熟的积温、累积光照时间、累积光照强度和产量及稻米加工品质、外观品质、营养品质、蒸煮品质,并进行不同播期下温光因子对籼稻稻米品质影响的冗余分析(RDA),通过温光因子的解释率找出影响豫南稻区稻米品质的关键环境因子。结果表明,随着播期的推迟,3个籼稻品种的产量、加工品质和营养品质均呈现先上升后下降的趋势,2 a均表现为T2处理产量最高,加工品质、外观品质和蒸煮品质较好,T5处理产量和品质表现最差。其中,2019年T2处理产量较T5处理提高129.4%,整精米率提高32.1%,垩白度、垩白粒率分别降低69.8%、69.9%,直链淀粉含量降低13.7%;2020年T2处理产量较T5处理提高271.0%,整精米率提高83.9%,垩白度、垩白粒率分别降低85.2%、77.6%,直链淀粉含量降低19.2%。稻米蛋白质含量则是T3处理最高,2019年和2020年T3处理较T5处理分别提高13.6%和20.0%。T2与T3处理间各品质指标差异均不显著。2 a产量均以T2处理下Y两优900最高,且其品质较好。3个品种抽穗到成熟阶段的积温、累积光照时间、累积光照强度均随着播期的推迟呈下降趋势,其中Y两优900的积温和累积光照时间下降幅度最大,兆优5431和中浙优8号下降幅度相当。RDA和解释率分析发现,水稻抽穗至成熟阶段的温光因子是造成稻米品质差异的主要环境因素,抽穗后10~20 d的累积光照时间是影响稻米品质的最主要生态因子。综上,豫南稻区籼稻以4月30日播种产量最高,且品质较好。

This paper deals with numerical methods for solving one-dimensional(1D)and twodimensional(2D)initial-boundary value problems(IBVPs)of space-fractional sine-Gordon equations(SGEs)with distributed *** 1D problems,we construct a kind of oneparameter finite difference(OPFD)*** is shown that,under a suitable condition,the proposed method is convergent with second order accuracy both in time and *** implementation,the preconditioned conjugate gradient(PCG)method with the Strang circulant preconditioner is carried out to improve the computational efficiency of the OPFD *** 2D problems,we develop another kind of OPFD *** such a method,two classes of accelerated schemes are suggested,one is alternative direction implicit(ADI)scheme and the other is ADI-PCG *** particular,we prove that ADI scheme can arrive at second-order accuracy in time and *** some numerical experiments,the computational effectiveness and accuracy of the methods are further ***,for the suggested methods,a numerical comparison in computational efficiency is presented.

The early determination of disease-related biomarkers can significantly improve the survival rate of ***,a series of explorations for new diagnosis technologies,such as optical and electrochemical methods,have been devoted to life and health *** thin-film transistor(OTFT),as a state-of-the-art nano-sensing technology,has attracted significant attention from construction to application owing to the merits of being label-free,low-cost,facial,and rapid detection with multi-parameter ***,interference from non-specific adsorption is inevitable in complex biological samples such as body liquid and exhaled gas,so the reliability and accuracy of the biosensor need to be further improved while ensuring sensitivity,selectivity,and ***,we overviewed the composition,mechanism,and construction strategies of OTFTs for the practical determination of disease-related biomarkers in both body fluids and exhaled *** results show that the realization of bio-inspired applications will come true with the rapid development of high-effective OTFTs and related devices.

Dominant woody plant species recognition with a hierarchical model based on multimodal geospatial data for subtropical forests

Since the launch of the Google Earth Engine(GEE)cloud platform in 2010,it has been widely used,leading to a wealth of valuable ***,the potential of GEE for forest resource management has not been fully *** extract dominant woody plant species,GEE combined Sen-tinel-1(S1)and Sentinel-2(S2)data with the addition of the National Forest Resources Inventory(NFRI)and topographic data,resulting in a 10 m resolution multimodal geospatial dataset for subtropical forests in southeast *** and texture features,red-edge bands,and vegetation indices of S1 and S2 data were computed.A hierarchical model obtained information on forest distribution and area and the dominant woody plant *** results suggest that combining data sources from the S1 winter and S2 yearly ranges enhances accuracy in forest distribution and area extraction compared to using either data source ***,for dominant woody species recognition,using S1 winter and S2 data across all four seasons was *** terrain factors and removing spatial correlation from NFRI sample points further improved the recognition *** optimal forest extraction achieved an overall accuracy(OA)of 97.4%and a maplevel image classification efficacy(MICE)of 96.7%.OA and MICE were 83.6%and 80.7%for dominant species extraction,*** high accuracy and efficacy values indicate that the hierarchical recognition model based on multimodal remote sensing data performed extremely well for extracting information about dominant woody plant *** the results using the GEE application allows for an intuitive display of forest and species distribution,offering significant convenience for forest resource monitoring.
