Finding the superior mode basis for mode-division multiplexing:a comparison of spatial modes in air-core fiber

Diverse spatial mode bases can be exploited in mode-division multiplexing(MDM)to sustain the capacity growth in fiber-optic communications,such as linearly polarized(LP)modes,vector modes,LP orbital angular momentum(LP-OAM)modes,and circularly polarized OAM(CP-OAM)***,which kind of mode bases is more appropriate to be utilized in fiber still remains ***,we aim to find the superior mode basis in MDM fiber-optic communications via a system-level comparison in air-core fiber(ACF).We first investigate the walk-off effect of four spatial mode bases over 1-km ACF,where LP and LP-OAM modes show intrinsic mode walk-off,while it is negligible for vector and CP-OAM *** then study the mode coupling effect of degenerate vector and CP-OAM modes over 1-km ACF under fiber perturbations,where degenerate even and odd vector modes suffer severe mode cross talk,while negligible for highorder degenerate CP-OAM modes based on the laws of angular momentum ***,we comprehensively evaluate the system-level performance for data-carrying single-channel and two-channel MDM transmission with different spatial mode bases under various kinds of fiber perturbations(bending,twisting,pressing,winding,and out-of-plane moving).The obtained results indicate that the CP-OAM mode basis shows superiority compared to other mode bases in MDM fiber-optic communications without using multiple-input multiple-output digital signal *** findings may pave the way for robust shortreach MDM optical interconnects for data centers and high-performance computing.

目的:探讨MUS-3600全自动尿液分析系统室内质控情况及应对措施。方法:选取2021年4月—2023年9月井陉矿区人民医院检验科MUS-3600全自动尿液分析系统室内质控结果作为研究资料,统计失控率、假失控率、误差检出率。结果:有形成分分析阳性失控率、干化学分析阳性失控率较高,有形成分分析阳性假失控率较高,聚焦、干化学分析阴性失控全部检出。结论:MUS-3600全自动尿液分析系统可能会出现失控、假失控、误差检出不完全,临床检测工作应采取针对性应对措施,提高质控及检测结果的准确性。

目的探索外周血样本保存温度和保存时间对染色体G显带核型制备效果的影响。方法以有核细胞数、有丝分裂指数和分裂相细胞数作为评价指标,分别对4℃和室温(RT,18~22℃)条件下,保存不同时间(0、3、5、7 d)的外周血样本染色体制备效果进行评估。结果 4℃或RT条件下,收获的有核细胞数量均随着样本保存时间的延长而减少。与新鲜外周血样本相比,4℃保存7 d以内或RT保存3 d以内的样本,有丝分裂指数分别为6.2 (1.8)%vs 7.2(1.9)%、8.2(2.0)%vs 7.2(1.9)%;4℃条件下保存3 d的样本,有丝分裂指数为9.7(2.9)%vs 7.2(1.9)%,以上差异均没有统计学意义(P>0.05)。4℃保存7 d以内或RT保存3 d以内的样本,均可获得足够数量的分裂相细胞用于染色体核型分析,其中4℃保存3 d以内的样本收获的分裂相细胞与新鲜样本相比,差异没有统计学意义[10.7(3.2)×104vs 11.4(3.5)×104,P>0.05]。结论 4℃保存7 d以内或RT保存3 d以内的外周血样本,均可以进行染色体核型制备。

Coding metasurfaces can manipulate electromagnetic wave in real time with high degree of freedom,the fascinating properties of which enrich the metasurface design with a wide range of application ***,most of the coding metasurfaces are designed based on external excitation framework with the wired electrical or wireless light control devices,thus inevitably causing the interference with electromagnetic wave transmission and increasing the complexity of the metasurface *** this work,a simplistic framework of single-pixel-programmable metasurfaces integrated with a capsuled LED array is proposed to dynamically control electromagnetic *** framework fully embeds the photoresistor in the meta-atom,controlling the LED array to directly illuminate the photoresistor to modulate the phase *** this manner,the complex biasing network is transformed to the universal LED array,which means the physical control framework can be transformed to a software framework,and thus the functions of the metasurface can be freely manipulated by encoding the capsuled LED array avoiding mutual coupling of adjacent meta-atoms in real *** the results verify that the far-field scattering pattern can be customized with this singlepixel-programmable ***,this work provides a universal framework for coding metasurface design,which lays the foundation for metasurface intelligent perception and adaptive modulation.

A theory of composite material patch winding is proposed to determine the winding trajectory with a meshed data model. Two different conditions are considered in this study. One is Bridge condition on the concave surface and the other is Slip line condition in the process of patch winding. This paper presents the judgment principles and corresponding solutions by applying differential geometry theory and space geometry theory. To verify the feasibility of the patch winding method, the winding control code is programmed. Furthermore, the winding experiments on an airplane inlet and a vane are performed. From the experiments, it shows that the patch winding theory has the advantages of flexibility, easy design and application.

In-situ consolidation forming of high-performance thermoplastic composites by Automated Fiber Placement(AFP)is of significant interest in *** the laying process,the heating temperature has a great influence on the quality of the formed components.A threedimensional heat transfer finite element model of Carbon Fiber(CF)/Polyether Ether Ketone(PEEK)heated by Slit Structure Nozzle Hot Gas Torch(SSNHGT)assisted AFP is *** influence of gas flow rate,heat transfer distance,and laying speed on heating temperature is *** results show that the overall temperature increases and then decreases as the gas flow rate *** the increase in heat transfer distance and laying speed,the overall temperature ***,the gas flow rate has the greatest influence on the temperature of CF/PEEK being heated,followed by the laying speed and finally the heat transfer ***,the model can also be extended to other fiber-reinforced polymer composites formed by hot gas torch assisted AFP,which can guide the optimization of process parameters for subsequent heating temperature control.

The status and development strategy of coalbed methane industry in China

To achieve the goals of carbon peaking and carbon neutrality under the backgrounds of poor resource endowments, weak theoretical basis and other factors, the development of the coalbed methane industry of China faces many bottlenecks and challenges. This paper systematically analyzes the coalbed methane resources, key technologies and progress, exploration effect and production performance in China and abroad. The main problems are summarized as low exploration degree, low technical adaptability, low return on investment and small development scale. This study suggests that the coalbed methane industry in China should follow the “two-step”(short-term and long-term) development strategy. The short-term action before 2030, can be divided into two stages:(1) From the present to 2025, to achieve new breakthroughs in theory and technology, and accomplish the target of annual production of 10 billion cubic meters;(2) From 2025 to 2030, to form the technologies suitable for most geological conditions, further expand the industry scale, and achieve an annual output of 30 billion cubic meters, improving the proportion of coalbed methane in the total natural gas production. The long-term action after 2030 is to gradually realize an annual production of 100 billion cubic meters. The strategic countermeasure to achieve the above goals is to adhere to “technology+management dual wheel drive”, realize the synchronous progress of technology and management, and promote the high-quality development of the coalbed methane industry. Technically, the efforts will focus on fine and effective development of coalbed methane in the medium to shallow layers of mature fields, effective development of coalbed methane in new fields, extensive and beneficial development of deep coalbed methane, three-dimensional comingled development of coalbed methane, applying new technologies such as coalbed methane displacement by carbon dioxide, microwave heating and stimulation technology, ultrasonic stim
