Different from the standard linear quadratic(LQ)problem for stochastic systems,the LQ problem considered in the paper has extra measurability *** problem also appears in the LQ control problem for stochastic systems with delays,rational expectations problems,asymmetric information control,and so *** essential difficulty lies in that one has to optimize the input and its conditional expectations *** stochastic maximum principle(SMP)and orthogonal decomposition technique are the key ***,the authors establish the SMP and convert the original problem into forward and backward stochastic difference equations(FBSDEs)with extra measurability ***,the authors resolve the FBSDEs by using the orthogonal decomposition technique and obtain the analytical solution to the underlying ***,the authors explore the essential distinction between the problem and the standard stochastic LQ control ***,numerical examples are given to illustrate the obtained results.

Persisters refer to genetically drug susceptible quiescent(non-growing or slow growing)bacteria that survive in stress environments such as antibiotic exposure,acidic and starvation *** cells can regrow after stress removal and remain susceptible to the same *** are underlying the problems of treating chronic and persistent infections and relapse infections after treatment,drug resistance development,and biofilm infections,and pose significant challenges for effective *** the characteristics and the exact mechanisms of persister formation,especially the key molecules that affect the formation and survival of the persisters is critical to more effective treatment of chronic and persistent ***,genes related to persister formation and survival are being discovered and confirmed,but the mechanisms by which bacteria form persisters are very complex,and there are still many unanswered *** article comprehensively summarizes the historical background of bacterial persisters,details their complex characteristics and their relationship with antibiotic tolerant and resistant bacteria,systematically elucidates the interplay between various bacterial biological processes and the formation of persister cells,as well as consolidates the diverse anti-persister compounds and *** hope to provide theoretical background for in-depth research on mechanisms of persisters and suggest new ideas for choosing strategies for more effective treatmentofpersistent infections.

Visible-light-driven photocatalysis is a promising technology for the treatment of dye *** this work,a novel photocatalyst of K-doped g-C_(3)N_(4) loaded on magnetic attapulgite(ATP)(Kω-g-C_(3)N_(4)@ATP-Fe_(3)O_(4))with excellent visible light photocatalytic properties and stability were successfully prepared and *** removal efficiency of Kω-g-C_(3)N_(4)@ATP-Fe_(3)O_(4) for malachite green(Mg)was studied,and the degradation mechanism was analyzed and *** was found that the K_(5)-g-C_(3)N_(4)@ATP-Fe_(3)O_(4) photocatalyst possessed excellent degradation efficiency of over 98.0%for the Mg dye wastewater under optimal ***,the K_(5)-g-C_(3)N_(4)@ATP-Fe_(3)O_(4) materials possessed good recyclability with a removal rate over 82%after 4 *** visible light condition,the K_(5)-g-C_(3)N_(4)@ATP-Fe_(3)O_(4) photocatalyst produce radicals of·OH and O_(2)^(-)to degrade the Mg dyes,which was supported by electron paramagnetic resonance(EPR)and radical trapping *** addition,the LC-MS analysis interpreted the degradation pathways and intermediates of Mg in the *** findings in this work indicate that the prepared photocatalytic material has excellent degradation efficiency for Mg and can be applied in dye wastewater treatment.

To investigate the corrosion degradation law and service life of reinforced concrete in various salt solution environments,reinforced concrete specimens were semi-immersed in 3%Na_(2)CO_(3)(N3-0-0),3%Na_(2)CO_(3)+3%NaCl(N3-Cl3-0)and 3%Na_(2)CO_(3)+3%NaCl+3%Na_(2)SO_(4)(N3-Cl3-S3)salt *** electrochemical workstation was used for regular non-destructive testing,and the polarization curve and related electrochemical parameters were used as the macroscopic durability evaluation indicators,while microscopic analysis of steel bar corrosion products was performed in combination with SEM and *** addition,the corrosion current density degradation model of gM(1,1)was established and compared with the modified gM(1,1)-Markov degradation *** results showed that the prediction error of the gM(1,1)-Markov model was smaller and more accurate than that of gM(1,1).The reinforced concrete specimens in the N3-0-0,N3-Cl3-0 and N3-Cl3-S3 solutions reached the failure state in 3.08,1.67,and 2.30 years,respectively,as predicted by the gM(1,1)-Markov *** to ESM and EDS microscopic analysis of reinforcement,carbonate had no significant effect on reinforcement corrosion,chloride ions played a dominant role in reinforcement corrosion,and sulfate ion improved concrete's resistance to chloride ion *** on gM(1,1)-Markov model,the failure and damage of reinforced concrete in saline soil areas can be quantitatively evaluated in the whole life cycle,which provides a theoretical basis for the early maintenance or reinforcing of reinforced concrete.

Performance Improvement of Two-Phase Steam Ejector based on CFD Techniques,Response Surface Methodology and genetic Algorithm

The steam ejector is a crucial component in the waste heat recovery *** performance determines the amount of recovered heat and system ***,poor ejector performance has always been the main bottleneck for system ***,this study proposes an optimization methodology to improve the steam ejector's performance by utilizing computational fluid dynamics(CFD) techniques,response surface methodology(RSM),and genetic algorithm(gA).Firstly,a homogeneous equilibrium model(HEM) was established to simulate the two-phase flow in the steam ***,the orthogonal test was presented to the screening of the key decision variables that have a significant impact on the entrainment ratio(ER).Next,the RSM was used to fit a response surface regression model(RSRM).Meanwhile,the effect of the interaction of geometric parameters on the performance of the steam ejector was ***,gA was employed to solve the RSRM's global optimal ER *** results show that the RSRM exhibits a good fit for ER(R^(2)=0.997).After RSM and gA optimization,the maximum ejector efficiency is 27.94%,which is 48.38% higher than the initial ejector of 18.83%.Furthermore,the optimized ejector efficiency is increased by 46.4% on average under off-design ***,the results reveal that the combination of CFD,RSM,and gA presents excellent reliability and feasibility in the optimization design of a two-phase steam ejector.

Owing to limited observations,it remains unknown whether the impact of El Niño-Southern Oscillation(ENSO)on the Indian Ocean-Northwest Pacific(IO-NWP)climate showed decadal changes in the early 20th *** multi-source reanalysis and hindcast datasets from the ECMWF and NOAA extending back to 1901,this study investigates interdecadal variations of the impact of ENSO on the IO-NWP climate from 1901 to *** is found that the influence of ENSO on the IO-NWP climate shows“strong-weak-strong”interdecadal change during *** is characterized by much weaker Indian Ocean sea surface temperature(SST)warming and a weaker NWP subtropical anticyclone(NWPSA)in the following summer of El Ni?o during 1946-1967,compared with those in the other two periods(1901-1945 and 1968-2009).Analyses of the datasets indicate that the interdecadal variation is mainly associated with the change in ENSO *** contrast to the period of 1946-1967,a greater SST variance occurred in the central-eastern equatorial Pacific during 1901-1945 and 1968-2009.A stronger El Ni?o tends to generate more significant anticyclonic anomalies over the southeast Indian Ocean through *** northwesterly anomalies to the south of the anticyclone weaken the southeast trade winds and warm the south Indian Ocean SST via wind-evaporation-SST feedback,and the positive south Indian Ocean SST anomalies trigger westward-propagating oceanic Rossby waves to induce stronger warming of the southwest Indian Ocean,leading to a significant asymmetric wind pattern across the equator in *** profound northeastward winds on the north side weaken the southwest monsoon,leading to a“second warming”over the north Indian Ocean in summer,which anchors the eastward-propagating warm Kelvin waves and results in a stronger NWPSA by inducing surface divergence and suppressing deep convection.

The co-catalysis between single atom catalyst(SAC)and its support has recently emerged as a promising strategy to synergistically boost the catalytic activity of some complex electrochemical reactions,encompassing multiple intermediates and ***,we utilized defective BC_(3)monolayer-supported SACs as a prototype to investigate the cooperative effects of SACs and their support on the catalytic performance of the nitrogen reduction reaction(NRR)for ammonia(NH_(3))*** results showed that these SACs can be firmly stabilized on these defective BC_(3)supports with high stability against ***,co-activation of the inert N_(2)reactant was observed in certain embedded SACs and their neighboring B atoms on certain BC3 sheets due to the noticeable charge transfer and significant N–N bond *** high-throughput screening revealed that the Mo/DV_(CC)and W/DV_(CC)exhibit superior NRR catalytic performance,characterized by a low limiting potential of−0.33 and−0.43 V,respectively,which can be further increased under acid conditions based on the constant potential ***,varying NRR catalytic activities can be attributed to the differences in the valence state of active ***,further microkinetic modeling analysis displayed that the turnover frequency of N_(2)–to–NH_(3)conversion on Mo/DV_(CC)is as large as 1.20×10^(−3)s^(−1)site^(−1) at 700 K and 100 bar,thus guaranteeing its ultra-fast reaction *** results not only suggest promising advanced electrocatalysts for NRR but also offer an effective avenue to regulate the electrocatalytic performance via the co-catalytic metal–support interactions.

Objectives:The chemical constituents of Poria cocos grown with different substrates vary significantly;thus,identifying and comparing their biomarkers are *** and Methods:Herein,the chemical constituents of Poria cocos obtained with five different substrates were assessed using gas chromatography–ion mobility spectrometry(gC-IMS),high-performance liquid chromatography and multivariate statistical ***:The content of moisture,ash,alcohol-soluble matter,and heavy metals,except for those of the miscellaneous wood Poria cocos,conform to the specifications defined in the Chinese Pharmacopoeia(Edition 2020),and the polysaccharide contents are all greater than 57%.Conclusions:Based on gC-IMS and the established fingerprints,87 compounds were detected,70 of which were identified in each *** statistical analysis revealed seven compounds(two esters,three alcohols,and two aldehydes),which could be considered as potential marker compounds for discrimination.
