Rolling texture development in a dual-phase Mg-Li alloy:The role of temperature

Dual-phase Mg-Li alloys sheets were rolled at four different temperatures ranging from liquid nitrogen to 300℃to explore effect of rolling temperature on texture and mechanical properties of the *** plasticity simulation was utilized to illustrate the influence of slip activity on rolling texture *** results show that the rolling texture is largely depended on deformation *** commercial Mg alloys,the critical resolved shear stress of basal slip inα-Mg phase of Mg-Li alloy decreased more significantly by increasing temperature compared to that of pyramidal*** of basal slip by increasing temperature triggered a decrease of split angle of basal poles for the double-peak ***slip largely enhanced by increasing temperature upon 200℃,which induced a wider orientation spread along the transverse *** theβ-Li phase,the promotion of{110}slip system at elevated temperature triggered the enhancement of{211}and{111}texture *** cryo-rolled sample exhibited the highest strength compared to the others due to a strong hardening behavior at this temperature.A two-stage hardening behavior was observed in these as-rolled dual-phase *** transition at phase boundaries could be the reason for appearance of this two-stage hardening.

利用纳米压痕实验及反演算方法研究Zn元素、Gd元素对固溶镁合金力学性能的影响。结果显示:添加Zn、Gd元素均能提升镁合金弹性模量及弹性极限,Gd元素对合金力学行为的强化效果更为明显,Zn、Gd混合添加能更有效地提升合金中的固溶强化效果。同时,所用的反演算法能较好地利用纳米压痕测试结果获得以滑移为主的镁合金弹塑性力学本构,所获本构方程反映的力学性能与镁合金单向压缩结果吻合,反演算结果印证了镁合金固溶强化机理。因此,纳米压痕反演算法是一种可行的镁合金力学本构计算方法。

The effect of normal force on fretting wear behavior of zirconium alloy tube mated with grid dimple in simulated primary water of pressurized water reactor nuclear power plant was *** showed that the maximum wear depth,wear volume and wear coefficient of Zr alloy tube in simulated primary water at 315℃ gradually increased with increasing normal force,while the friction coefficient gradually *** process could be divided into four stages according to the variation of friction coefficient during *** normal force exceeds 30 N,the fretting regime would transition from gross slip regime to partial slip regime after 3×10^(7 )*** was aggravated with increasing normal force,while abrasive wear became slighter.A thicker third-body layer with monoclinic ZrO_(2) was formed by the tribo-sintering mechanism under higher normal *** addition,the schematic evolution processes of delamination and third-body layer formation were displayed according to morphology observation.

Electrochemical reduction from nitrate into ammonia is a chance for nitrate removal from drinking water,while at higher concentrations,this 8-electron reduction process could even become relevant for energy storage,high conversions and low onset potentials ***,we report the synthesis and analysis of a NiFe_(2)O_(4)/C-MS hybrid system made by a molten-salt strategy where the Ni-Fe oxide spinel nanoparticles act as the active center for electrochemical nitrate(NO_(3)−)reduction reaction,while the microporous carbon serves as a conductive support to form a cohesive electrode *** NiFe_(2)O_(4)/C-MS catalyst achieves a maximum NH3 yield rate of 5.4 mg mgcat.^(−1)h^(−1)and Faradaic efficiency of 98%at−0.6 V versus reversible hydrogen *** NiFe_(2)O_(4)nanoparticles buried into microporous carbon,the onset potential decreases *** propose that this reduction originates from charge redistribution in NiFe_(2)O_(4)in the electronic heterojunction with carbon,while enhanced electrolyte diffusion in microporous carbon facilitates high conversion *** functional theory calculations clarify the low energy barrier on NiFe_(2)O_(4),highlighting the essential role of Ni in activating Fe *** COMSOL Multiphysics simulations demonstrate that the microporous curled carbon accelerates NO_(3)−transport and enhances adsorption on the reactive *** work offers insights for designing carbon-based nanocomposites for efficient nitrate reduction electrocatalysis.

In this paper,a novel ternary eutectic salt Na_(2)CO_(3)-Li_(2)CO_(3)-LiF was designed and investigated for concentrated solar power(CSP).The FactSage software was used to predict the composition and eutectic point of Na_(2)CO_(3)-Li_(2)CO_(3)-*** microstructure,thermophysical properties,and thermal stability of eutectic salts were experimentally measured using various analytical *** a mass ratio of 57%:32%:11%,the eutectic salt exhibited excellent thermal storage properties with a fusion enthalpy of 413 J/g and a melting point of 426.8℃.The excellent thermal stability of the eutectic salt was reflected by a weight loss of only 0.8% at 600℃.

Leaf area index(lai)is an essential climate variable that is crucial to understand the global vegetation ***-term satellite lai products have been applied in many global vegetation change ***,these lai products contain various uncertainties that are not been fully considered in current *** objective of this study is to explore the uncertainties in the global lai products and the uncertainty *** global lai datasets—the European Geoland2 Version 2(GEOV2)and Moderate Resolution Imaging Spectroradiometer(MODIS)(2003-2019)—were *** qualitative quality flags(QQFs)and quantitative quality indicators(QQIs)embedded in the product quality layers were analyzed to identify the temporal anomalies in the quality *** results show that the global GEOV2(0.042/10a)and MODIS(0.034/10a)lai values have steadly increased from 2003 to *** global lai uncertainty(0.016/10a)and relative uncertainty(0.3%/10a)from GEOV2 have also increased gradually,especially during the growing season from April to *** uncertainty increase is larger for woody biomes than for herbaceous ***,the MODIS lai product uncertainty remained stable over the study *** uncertainty increase indicated by GEOV2 is partly attributed to the sensor shift in the product *** algorithm enhancement is necessary to improve the cross-sensor *** study highlights the importance of studying the lai uncertainty and the uncertainty *** variations in the lai products and the product quality revealed herein have significant implications on global vegetation change studies.

We used the Chinese skink Eumeces chinensis as a model animal to study the effects of tail loss on reproductive in- vestment and offspring traits. A total of 147 wild-captured adult females were divided into four groups according to their tail con- ditions. Tail breaks occurred most frequently in the proximal portion of the tail and least frequently in the distal portion, with the middle portion in between. This finding suggests that tail breaks occurring in nature often entails substantial energetic costs in E. chinensis where the tail is a major site of energy storage. The proportion of females that laid eggs was higher in females with in- tact or completely regenerated tails than in those with broken tails. Following whole-tail autotomy, the clutch size was reduced by 17%, and the clutch mass was reduced by 14%. Females undergoing substantial tail autotomy reduced reproductive investment, and they did so by reducing the number but not the size of eggs produced. None of the egg and hatchling traits was affected by tail loss. Comparing our data with those reported for other oviparous and viviparous skinks allows us to draw two general conclu- sions： one is that fecundity （clutch or litter size） is affected by tail loss in all species so far studied, whereas offspring size is af- fected by tail loss in some species, but not in others; the other is that the reduction in fecundity following tail loss is more evident in species lacking abdominal fat bodies
