Common wheat(Triticum aestivum L.)is a leading cereal crop,but has lagged behind with respect to the interpretation of the molecular mechanisms of phenotypes compared with other major cereal crops such as rice and maize.The recently available genome sequence of wheat affords the pre-requisite information for efficiently exploiting the potential molecular resources for decoding the genetic architecture of complex traits and identifying valuable breeding targets.Meanwhile,the successful application of metabolomics as an emergent large-scale profiling methodology in several species has demonstrated this approach to be accessible for reaching the above goals.One such productive avenue is combining metabolomics approaches with genetic designs.However,this trial is not as widespread as that for sequencing technologies,especially when the acquisition,understanding,and application of metabolic approaches in wheat populations remain more difficult and even arguably underutilized.In this review,we briefly introduce the techniques used in the acquisition of metabolomics data and their utility in large-scale identification of functional candidate genes.Considerable progress has been made in delivering improved varieties,suggesting that the inclusion of information concerning these metabolites and genes and metabolic pathways enables a more explicit understanding of phenotypic traits and,as such,this procedure could serve as an-omics-informed roadmap for executing similar improvement strategies in wheat and other species.

We presented a low-abundance mutation detection method with lambda exonuclease and DNA threeway junction structure.The assistant strand in the DNA three-way junction structure could regulate the reaction system from the kinetics and thermodyna mics aspects.The optimization of the assista nt strand helps to improve the selectivity of the mutant-type DNA to the wild-type DNA about 35 times.Moreover,the cost of the optimization process could be saved by about 90%.The method was applied to the detection of a human ovarian cancer-related gene mutation BRCA1(rs1799949,c.2082 C>T).The limit of detection to the mutation abundance in the DNA three-way junction structure system(0.2%) was one order lower compared with that in the double-stranded DNA structure system(2%).The mutation abundance in different standard samples was quantitively measured,and the results were consistent with the initial abundance in the standard samples.

The urgent need for fresh water resource is a public issue facing the world.Solar distillation for seawater desalination is a promising freshwater production method.Interfacial solar evaporation systems based on 2 D photo-thermal membranes have been widely studied,but salt pollution is one of the main challenges for solar distillation.In order to solve this problem,a hydrophilic three-dimensional(3 D)porous photo-thermal fiber felt(PFF)was obtained by one-step method,through a simple polydopamine(PDA)coating method with hydrophobic graphite felt as a substrate.The PFF had a good evaporation rate of 1.48 kg m^(-2)h^(-1)and its corresponding light-vapor conversion efficiency reached 87.4%.In addition,the PFF exhibited an excellent salt-resistant ability when applied to photo-thermal evaporation of highsalinity seawater with 10 wt%NaCl,owing to its intrinsic 3 D macroporous structure for the migration circulation of salt ions.The development of the PFF offers a new route for the exploration of salt-re sistant photo-thermal materials and is promising for the practical application of solar distillation.

Cyclist trajectory prediction is of great significance for both active collision avoidance and path planning of intelligent vehicles. This paper presents a trajectory prediction method for the motion intention of cyclists in real traffic scenarios. This method is based on dynamic Bayesian network(DBN) and long short-term memory(LSTM). The motion intention of cyclists is hard to predict owing to potential large uncertainties. The DBN is used to infer the distribution of cyclists’ intentions at intersections to improve the prediction time. The LSTM with encoder-decoder is used to predict the cyclists’ trajectories to improve the accuracy of prediction. Therefore, the DBN and LSTM are adopted to guarantee prediction accuracy and improve the prediction time. The experiment results are presented to show the effectiveness of the predict strategies.

桂中地区阔叶混交林生长规律调查与分析

为探讨多树种混交造林的生长、分化演变规律,以顶果木、大叶栎、青冈栎、木荷、香樟、枫香、千年桐7种阔叶树为研究对象,通过定期观察保存率、胸径和树高生长量并经过多次观察测定和分析,结果发现:5年生时林分郁闭度达0.8以上,生长较慢的阳性树种逐步枯死。13年生时林分密度由633株·hm^(-2)下降至300株·hm^(-2),仅剩顶果木、大叶栎、青冈栎3个树种;顶果木、大叶栎的胸径和树高生长最快,是林分中的优势树种;青冈栎较耐阴,是稳定的伴生树种;顶果木、大叶栎、青冈栎适合混交造林,13年生时林分蓄积量177.17 m^(3)·hm^(-2),产值估算为11.48万元·hm^(-2),利润8.76万元·hm^(-2)。

Influence of Surface Nanocrystallization on Ti Ion Implantation of Pure Iron

In order to increase the depth or concentration of Ti ion implantation of pure iron, the surface mechanical attrition treatment(SMAT), which can fabricate a nanometer-grained surface layer without porosity and contamination in a pure iron plate, was used before ion implantation. Ti ion was implanted into the SMA treated sample and coarse-grained counterpart by using a metal vapor vacuum arc source implanter. The changing of depth and concentration of Ti was studied in a function of implantation time.By optical microscopy, transmission electron microscopy and X-ray diffraction, the grain size of the nano structured surface was studied. Micro-hardness, friction and wear behavior of nano surface layers were studied. By energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy and Auger electron spectroscopy, the chemical composition and concentration of Ti ion in the surface implantation layer were studied. Experimental results showed that the concentration of Ti increased dramatically compared with untreated coarsegrained samples, which is attributed to the existence of higher density of defects(supersaturated vacancies, dislocations, non-equilibrium grain boundaries etc.) and compression stress field in the SMA treated nanocrystallined surface layer. The interaction between the defects and the implanted solute atoms leads to the increment of solid solubility. But the implantation depth showed inconspicuous change. It is shown that the ion range is just relevant to the energy and mass of the ion, dose of injection,the mass and density of target material.

流致振动蕴含巨大的能量,本文基于流致振动理论,设计了一种附加磁力激励的压电悬臂梁流致振动俘能器,并通过理论和实验研究其振动俘能特性.该俘能器由压电悬臂梁、圆柱绕流体和磁铁组成;首先基于Euler-Bernoulli梁理论,推导了流致振动附磁压电俘能器的能量函数,利用Hamilton原理建立了流致振动附磁压电俘能器的机电耦合方程;利用数值方法研究详细分析了流速、圆柱绕流体直径和长度、磁间距、磁极和外接电阻等系统参数对压电俘能器振动特性和输出电压的影响.分析结果表明,该型压电俘能器的振动幅值在低流速条件下产生涡激振动,并产生最大的输出电压;磁力可以降低压电俘能器的共振频率并能够拓宽压电俘能器频带带宽,因此,附磁压电俘能器具有相比没有附磁的压电俘能器更适用于低速层流环境;实验结果与数值结果吻合较好,验证了附磁压电悬臂梁流致振动俘能器的理论分析的正确性.

Gradient sparsification for efficient wireless federated learning with differential privacy

Federated learning(FL) enables distributed clients to collaboratively train a machine learning model without sharing raw data with each other. However, it suffers from the leakage of private information from uploading models. In addition, as the model size grows, the training latency increases due to the limited transmission bandwidth and model performance degradation while using differential privacy(DP)protection. In this paper, we propose a gradient sparsification empowered FL framework with DP over wireless channels, to improve training efficiency without sacrificing convergence performance. Specifically, we first design a random sparsification algorithm to retain a fraction of the gradient elements in each client’s local model, thereby mitigating the performance degradation induced by DP and reducing the number of transmission parameters over wireless channels. Then, we analyze the convergence bound of the proposed algorithm, by modeling a non-convex FL problem. Next, we formulate a time-sequential stochastic optimization problem for minimizing the developed convergence bound, under the constraints of transmit power, the average transmitting delay, as well as the client’s DP requirement. Utilizing the Lyapunov drift-plus-penalty framework, we develop an analytical solution to the optimization problem. Extensive experiments have been implemented on three real-life datasets to demonstrate the effectiveness of our proposed algorithm. We show that our proposed algorithms can fully exploit the interworking between communication and computation to outperform the baselines, i.e., random scheduling, round robin, and delay-minimization algorithms.

近年来，全胃切除术在胃癌治疗中的应用日益增多，而全胃切除术后消化道重建始终是胃肠外科医生关注和难以割舍的话题，有关的纷争也一直未曾停息。迄今，文献报告的全胃切除术后消化道重建方式多达70余种，不同术式各有其优缺点，即便如此目前仍未获得一种真正理想的消化道重建术式。争论的核心是如何在保证手术根治效果和安全性的同时，提高患者术后生活质量；而其焦点主要围绕以下三个方面：（1）维持十二指肠生理通道是否必要；（2）是否需要构建食物贮袋；（3）哪种贮袋最为理想。要使这些争议获得较为明确的结论，我们应该正确运用循证医学的研究方法，以严谨的态度，增大研究的样本量，开展多中心前瞻性随机对照研究。
