A new splitting extrapolation based on multivariate asymptotic expansionsof finite elemellt eraes for differellt mesh parameters is described. By means of splittingextrapolation, a far 3 scale problem is decomposed into many subproblems, which can besolved in parallel. 111 this paper) we prove that the splitting extrapolation algorithm possesses a high order accuracy and the computation is almost independent of the dimension ofthe problem. Moreover, an extrapolation algorithm at global fine grid points is presented,several numerical examples including interface problems are discussed.

In this paper, the stability analysis for parallel real-time digital simulation models is discussed. The coupling coefficient perturbation method and the simulation stepsize perturbation method are established. For two classes of systems of test equations, we construct the parallel simulation models and prove that they have the stability behaviour which is similar to the original continuous systems.

In this paper a PC fault diagnostic expert system (PCDGES) is introduced, which can be run under CCDOS and encoded by English Prolog and C. In the system, a method of combining logic with production rules is applied to represent knowledge. The expert system program is separated from knowledge base. Inference computation is mainly carried backward, and the forward is regarded as an auxiliary inference. The knowledge base can be easily updated, deleted and added in operation time. It has a supporting machanism for the acquisition of knowledge and by means of “telling method”, knowledge can be acquisited. The system also has “why” explanation function and an interface with DOS, full screen editor, and hardware dignostic program. For Chinese users, all the prompt information and selection menus are displayed in color Chinese.

To solve the problem of controlling robot swarms in a distributed manner,we propose a novel latticebased artificial endocrine system (LAES) model,inspired by modern endocrinology *** on a latticed environment,relying on cell intelligentization,connected by cumulative hormones,and directed by target cells,the LAES model can finally adapt to the continuous volatility of the external environment and maintain the relevant stability of the internal dynamics of the system,thus exhibiting the self-organizing and self-repairing features of the biological endocrine *** show that the LAES model enables a robotic swarm to search an unfamiliar space and seize multiple targets automatically without using unique global identifiers or a centralized control strategy for the individual *** demonstrates that the model can reliably be used to simulate large scale swarm behavior through wireless communication.

It is necessary to compute the derivative end estimate the bound of rational B-spline curves in design system,which has not been studied to *** improve the function of computer aided design (CAD) system,end to enhance the efficiency of different algo- rithms of rational B-spline curves,the representation of scaled hodograph and bound of derivative magnitude of uniform planar rational B- spline curves are derived by applying Dir function,which indicates the direction of Cartesian vector between homogeneous points,discrete B-spline theory end the formula of translating the product into a summation of B-spline *** an application of the result above, upper bound of parametric distance between any two points in a uniform planar rational B-spline curve is further presented.
