The gut microbiota significantly influences host physiology and provides essential ecosystem *** diet can affect the composition of the gut microbiota,the gut microbiota can also help the host adapt to specific dietary *** carrion crow(Corvus corone),an urban facultative scavenger bird,hosts an abundance of pathogens due to its scavenging *** this,carrion crows infrequently exhibit illness,a phenomenon related to their unique physiological *** present,however,the role of the gut microbiota remains incompletely *** this study,we performed a comparative analysis using 16s rRNA amplicon sequencing technology to assess colonic content in carrion crows and 16 other bird species with different diets in Beijing,*** findings revealed that the dominant gut microbiota in carrion crows was primarily composed of Proteobacteria(75.51%)and Firmicutes(22.37%).significant differences were observed in the relative abundance of Enterococcus faecalis among groups,highlighting its potential as a biomarker of facultative scavenging behavior in carrion ***,*** isolated from carrion crows was transplanted into model mice to explore the protective effects of this bacterial community against salmonella enterica *** showed that *** down-regulated the expression of pro-inflammatory cytokines tumor necrosis factor alpha(TNF-α),interferon gamma(IFN-γ),and interleukin 6(IL-6),prevented *** colonization,and regulated the composition of gut microbiota in mice,thereby modulating the host’s immune regulatory ***,*** exerts immunoregulatory and anti-pathogenic functions in carrion crows engaged in scavenging behavior,offering a representative case of how the gut microbiota contributes to the protection of hosts with specialized diets.

A 3D-printed microhemispherical shell resonator with electrostatic tuning for a Coriolis vibratory gyroscope

The emergence of microhemispherical resonant gyroscopes,which integrate the advantages of exceptional stability and long lifetime with miniaturization,has afforded new possibilities for the development of whole-angle ***,existing methods used for manufacturing microhemispherical resonant gyroscopes based on MEMs technology face the primary drawback of intricate and costly ***,we report the design,fabrication,and characterization of the first 3D-printable microhemispherical shell resonator for a Coriolis vibrating *** remarkably achieve fabrication in just two steps bypassing the dozen or so steps required in traditional *** utilizing the intricate shaping capability and ultrahigh precision offered by projection microstereolithography,we fabricate 3D high-aspect-ratio resonant structures and controllable capacitive air gaps,both of which are extremely difficult to obtain via MEMs *** addition,the resonance frequency of the fabricated resonators can be tuned by electrostatic forces,and the fabricated resonators exhibit a higher quality factor in air than do typical MEMs microhemispherical *** work demonstrates the feasibility of rapidly batch-manufacturing microhemispherical shell resonators,paving the way for the development of microhemispherical resonator gyroscopes for portable inertial ***,this particular design concept could be further applied to increase uptake of resonator tools in the MEMs community.

Plant type effect overweighs seasonal variation in n-alkanoic acid biomarker on regional Loess Plateau of China

The effect of plant type on n-alkane biomarker has been widely studied,but the influence of plant type on n-alkanoic acids(n-FAs)has received less *** the effect of the distribution of n-FAs and their hydrogen isotope composition(δ^(2)H_(FA))is critical for interpreting sedimentaryδ^(2)H_(FA)values as proxies of hydroclimate and/or vegetation *** this study,we systematically investigated the distribution ofn-FAs andδ^(2)H_(FA)values across seasons on the Chinese Loess Plateau(CLP).Our results showed that there were no significant seasonal differences in n-FAs distribution andδ^(2)H_(FA)values,but there were significant differences inδ^(2)H_(FA)values across plant ***δ^(2)H_(FA)values ranged from-185‰to-125‰in dicots(-161‰±28‰),and from-215‰to-170‰in monocots(-196‰±22‰)on the *** fractionation betweenδ^(2)H_(FA)values and precipitationδ^(2)H(ε_(FA-P))was also^(2)H-enriched in dicots relative to *** the regional scale of the CLP,δ^(2)H_(FA)values were not correlated withδ^(2)H values of ***,δ^(2)H_(FA)values from the CLP were similar to expectations from a global comparison,both in terms of their mean values and high variability among plants growing in sites with similarδ^(2)H values of *** some of this variability inεFA-Pis due to the effect of plant type,a careful assessment of the likely sources of waxes in terrestrial sediments is critical when usingδ^(2)H_(FA)values for paleohydroclimate reconstruction.

In-situ fabrication of TiO_(2)/NH_(2)-MIL-125(Ti) via MOF-driven strategy to promote efficient interfacial effects for enhancing photocatalytic NO removal activity

Deep oxidation of NO molecules to nitrate species by photocatalysis with virtually no toxic byproduct NO_(2)generation is a challenging *** this study,Ti O_(2)in-situ grows based on NH_(2)-MIL-125(Ti)(NM-125)not only inhibited TiO 2agglomeration,but also contacted more tightly to obtain efficient interfacial effects,thus displaying excellent photocatalytic NO removal activity(68.08%).The formation of Ti O_(2) is directly confirmed by characterizations such as X-ray diffraction(XRD),transmission electron microscope(TEM),X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPs).Meanwhile,UV–vis,photoluminescence,and photoelectrochemical analysis indicate that TiO_(2) formation effectively improves the optical ***,the strong electron interaction and electron transport direction between NM-125 and Ti O_(2) are investigated by density functional theoretical(DFT)***,combined with the results of electron spin resonance(EsR)and in-situ FT-IR test,the intermediate processes of NO adsorption and photocatalytic oxidation reaction are discussed in depth,where the production of reactive oxygen species(ROs)under light is the key factor in the successful degradation of *** with NM-125 which can only produce·OH through photogenerated electrons since the lower valence band position,NMT-2 can directly produce·OH through photogenerated holes,thereby relieving the pressure on photogenerated electrons and producing more *** study will provide reasonable guidance for the modification of NM-125 for photocatalytic removal of ppb-level NO.

Review on the application of upconversion nanomaterials in heavy metal detection

Aflibercept combined with triamcinolone acetonide in the treatment of diabetic macular edema:optical coherence tomography and optical coherence tomography angiography

AIM:To analyze the relationship between optical coherence tomography(OCT)and OCT angiography(OCTA)imaging in patients with diabetic macular edema(DME)who are treated with a combination of aflibercept and triamcinolone acetonide(TA).METHODs:A total of 76 eyes newly diagnosed DME were included in this *** were randomly assigned to receive either aflibercept or a combination of aflibercept and *** once a month for a total of three *** macular thickness(CMT),number of hyperreflective foci(HRF),height of subretinal fluid(sRF),and area of foveal avascular zone(FAZ)were evaluated using OCT and OCTA at baseline and after each monthly ***:Both groups showed improvement in best corrected visual acuity(BCVA)and reduction in macular edema after treatment,and the difference in BCVA between the two groups was statistically significant after each treatment(Phe difference in CMT between the two groups was statistically significant after the first two injections(Phe third injection(P=0.875).The number of HRF(1mo:7.41±8.25 vs 10.86±7.22,P=0.027;2mo:5.33±6.13 vs 9.12±8.61,P=0.034;3mo:3.58±3.00 vs 6.37±5.97,P=0.007)and height of sRF(1mo:82.39±39.12 vs 105.77±42.26μm,P=0.011;2mo:36.84±10.02 vs 83.59±37.78μm,Ps 45.43±12.60μm,Pstatistically significant less than aflibercept group after each injection,while the area of FAZ showed no significant change before and after treatment in both ***:The combination therapy of aflibercept and TA shows more significant effects on DME eyes with decreased HRF and ***,both aflibercept and combination therapy show no significant change in the area of FAZ.

计算机技术与人工智能的发展给新材料的开发带来了新的研究范式(第四代),也为新型界面分离材料的创制带来新的发展契机。然而,受界面分离过程机理研究和材料、基团的理化数据的局限性,人工智能在新型界面分离材料的创制中的应用仍处于初期阶段。本文为解决特定体系数据缺失的问题,构建了百万级(10^(6))的样板数据库,为大预测模型与生成模型提供了可靠、规范的示范数据基础;通过从大数据中挖掘分子结构与性质的隐藏关联,并借助分子模拟计算剖析其分子间相互作用机理,解析分子间相互作用机制和重组过程规律,进而实现高性能界面分离材料的构筑。最后,本文浅析了介尺度样板大数据、机器学习势理论、国产软件开发、有机合成、智能算法等多学科交叉在界面分离材料创制中的重要影响与发展机遇,以期推动虚拟实验室前沿发展。

Triple-negative breast cancer(TNBC)has aggressive characteristics as exemplified by the high risk of recurrence,metastasis,and patient mortality.1 Cytotoxic chemotherapy may reduce tumor burden initially,but leave behind chemo-resistant breast cancer stem cells(BCsCs)that lead to tumor recurrence and metastasis.2 Chemotherapy induces BCsC enrichment through the activation of glutathione biosynthesis pathways,which increases intracellular glutathione levels and specifies the BCsC phenotype through complicated downstream signaling pathways.3 Glutathione s-transferases(GsTs),a superfamily(which contains seven cytosolic classes:Alpha,Kappa,Mu,Omega,Pi,Theta,and Zeta,and one microsomal class MGsTs)of phase Il enzymes that catalyze the conjugation of glutathione with electrophilic compounds,play a critical role in detoxification and chemotherapy resistance of cancer ***,the role of GsTs in the regulation of BCsCs is largely elusive.
