Several studies have confirmed that the health status of the paternal affects the health of the offspring,however,it remains unknown whether paternal exposure to pesticides affect the offspring ***,we used untargeted metabolomics and 16S rRNA sequencing technology,combined with tail suspension test and RT-qPCR to explore the effects of paternal exposure to nitenpyram on the neurotoxicity of *** results found that the paternal exposure to nitenpyram led to the offspring’s depressive-like behaviors,accompanied by the reduction of tryptophan content and the disorder of microbial abundance in the gut of the ***,we determined the expression of tryptophan metabolism-related genes tryptophanase(tnaA)and tryptophan hydroxylase 1(TpH1)in gut bacteria and colonic *** found that tryptophan is metabolized to indoles rather than being absorbed into colonocytes,which coursed the reduce of tryptophan availability after nitenpyram *** conclusion,our study deepens our understanding of the intergenerational toxic effects of pesticides.

Background A deterioration in the meat quality of broilers has attracted much more attention in recent years.L-malic acid(MA)is evidenced to decrease meat drip loss in broilers,but the underlying molecular mechanisms are still ***’s also not sure whether the outputs obtained under experimental conditions can be obtained in a com-mercial ***,we investigated the effects and mechanisms of dietary MA supplementation on chicken meat drip loss at large-scale *** Results showed that the growth performance and drip loss were improved by MA *** metabolome revealed that L-2-aminoadipic acid,β-aminoisobutyric acid,eicosapentaenoic acid,and nicotinamide,as well as amino acid metabolism pathways connected to the improvements of meat quality by MA *** transcriptome analysis further indicated that the effect of MA on drip loss was also related to the proper immune response,evidenced by the enhanced B cell receptor signaling pathway,NF-κB signaling pathway,TNF signaling pathway,and IL-17 signaling *** We provided evidence that MA decreased chicken meat drip loss under commercial *** and transcriptome revealed a comprehensive understanding of the underlying ***,MA could be used as a promising dietary supplement for enhancing the water-holding capacity of chicken meat.

In open pit mining,uncontrolled block instabilities have serious social,economic and regulatory consequences,such as casualties,disruption of operation and increased regulation *** this reason,bench face angle,as one of the controlling parameters associated with block instabilities,should be carefully designed for sustainable *** study introduces a discrete fracture network(DFN)-based probabilistic block theory approach for the fast design of the bench face angle.A major advantage is the explicit incorporation of discontinuity size and spatial distribution in the procedure of key blocks *** proposed approach was applied to a granite mine in ***,DFN models were generated from a multi-step modeling procedure to simulate the complex structural characteristics of pit ***,a modified key blocks searching method was applied to the slope faces modeled,and a cumulative probability of failure was obtained for each ***,a bench face angle was determined commensurate with an acceptable risk level of *** simulation results have shown that the number of hazardous traces exposed on the slope face can be significantly reduced when the suggested bench face angle is adopted,indicating an extremely low risk of uncontrolled block instabilities.

Porous ionic liquids have demonstrated excellent performance in the field of separation, attributed to their high specific surface area and efficient mass transfer. Herein, task-specific protic porous ionic liquids(PPILs) were prepared by employing a novel one-step coupling neutralization reaction strategy for extractive desulfurization. The single-extraction efficiency of PPILs reached 75.0% for ***, adding aromatic hydrocarbon interferents resulted in a slight decrease in the extraction efficiency of PPILs(from 45.2% to 37.3%, 37.9%, and 33.5%), indicating the excellent extraction selectivity of PPILs. The experimental measurements and density functional theory calculations reveal that the surface channels of porous structures can selectively capture dibenzothiophene by the stronger electrophilicity(Eint(HS surface channel/DBT)=-39.8 kcal mol-1), and the multiple extraction sites of ion pairs can effectively enrich and transport dibenzothiophene from the oil phase into PPILs through π...π, C-H...π and hydrogen bonds interactions. Furthermore, this straightforward synthetic strategy can be employed in preparing porous liquids, offering new possibilities for synthesizing PPILs with tailored functionalities.

AIM:To investigate the roles of toll-like receptor 4(TLR4) and nuclear factor(NF)-κB on cystathionine βsynthetase(CBS) expression and visceral hypersensitivity in ***:This study used 1-7-wk-old male SpragueDawley *** blot analysis was employed to measure the expression of TLR4,NF-kB and the endogenous hydrogen sulfide-producing enzyme CBS in colon dorsal root ganglia(DRG) from control and "irritable bowel syndrome" rats induced by neonatal colonic inflammation(NCI).Colon-specific DRG neurons were labeled with Dil and acutely dissociated to measure excitability with patch-clamp *** was employed to determine the co-expression of TLR4,NF-kB and CBS in Dil-labeled DRG ***:NCI significantly upregulated the expression of TLR4 in colon-related DRGs(0.34 ± 0.12 vs 0.72 ±0.02 for the control and NCI groups,respectively,P <0.05).Intrathecal administration of the TLR4-selective inhibitor CLI-095 significantly enhanced the colorectal distention threshold of NCI ***-095 treatment also markedly reversed the hyperexcitability of colonspecific DRG neurons and reduced the expression of CBS(1.7 ± 0.1 vs 1.1 ± 0.04,p < 0.05) and of the NF-kB subunit p65(0.8 ± 0.1 vs 0.5 ± 0.1,P< 0.05).Furthermore,the NF-KB-selective inhibitor pyrrolidine dithiocarbamate(PDTC) significantly reduced the upregulation of CBS(1.0 ± 0.1 vs 0.6 ± 0.1,P< 0.05)and attenuated visceral hypersensitivity in the NCI *** vitro,incubation of cultured DRG neurons with the TLR4 agonist lipopolysaccharide significantly enhanced the expression of p65(control vs 8 h:0.9 ± 0.1 vs1.3 ± 0.1;control vs 12 h:0.9 ± 0.1 vs 1.3 ± 0.1,P< 0.05;control vs 24 h:0.9 ± 0.1 vs 1.6 ± 0.1,P <0.01) and CBS(control vs 12 h:1.0 ± 0.1 vs 2.2 ±0.4;control vs 24 h:1.0 ± 0.1 vs 2.6 ± 0.1,P< 0.05),whereas the inhibition of p65 via pre-incubation with PDTC significantly reversed the upregulation of CBS expression(1.2 ± 0.1 vs 0.6 ± 0.0,P< 0.01).CONCLUSION:Our results suggest that the

TiZrTaNb-based high-entropy alloys(HEAs)are research frontier of biomedical materials due to their high hardness,good yield strength,excellent wear resistance and corrosion ***,as an essential trace element in the human body that plays a significant role in physiological *** has stable chemical properties and a low elastic *** this study,a new material,TiZrTaNbSn HEAs,was proposed as a potential biomedical *** Ti_(35)Zr_(25)Ta_(15)Nb_(15)Sn_(10)biomedical high-entropy alloys(BHEAs)were successfully prepared through an arc melting furnace and then remelted using a German high-temperature and high-pressure apparatus under GPa-level(4 GPa and 7 GPa).The precipitation behavior of the needle-like HCP-Zr_(5)Sn_(3)phase that precipitates discontinuously at the grain boundary was successfully *** phase constitution,microstructure,and corrosion resistance of the alloy were *** results show that the needle-like HCP-Zr_(5)Sn_(3)phase is eliminated and the(Zr,Sn)-rich nano-precipitated phase is precipitated in the microstructure under high pressure,which leads to the narrowing of grain boundaries and consequently improves the corrosion resistance of the *** addition,the formation mechanisms of(Zr,Sn)-rich nanoprecipitates in BHEAs were *** Zr and Sn dissolve in the matrix due to the effect of high pressure,during the cooling process,they precipitate to form a(Zr,Sn)-rich nano-precipitated phase.

Objective The neurobiologic basis of pancreatic hyperalgesia in chronic pancreatitis（CP） is poorly understood and there is a great need to identify novel therapeutic *** aim of this study was designed to investigate roles of norepinephrine（NE） and P2X receptor signaling pathways in the pathogenesis of pancreatic pain in a rat model of *** CP was induced in adult rats by intraductal injection of trinitrobenzene sulfonic acid（TNBS）.DiI dye injected into pancreas was used to label pancreas innervating dorsal root ganglion（DRG） neurons.P2X receptor-mediated responses in pancreas-specific DRG neurons were measured using calcium imaging *** blot analysis was performed to examine protein *** hyperalgesia was assessed by nocifensive behavior to mechanical stimulation of rat *** TNBS-injected rats exhibited a robotic pancreatic pain,which was associated with a 2-fold increase in ATP-induced calcium signals when compared with age-matched controls（P＜0.05）.TNBS injection also significantly increased expression of adrenergic β-receptors in thoracic *** administration of P2X receptor antagonist suramine or β receptor antagonist propranolol markedly reduced referred somatic hyperalgesia in rats with ***,these two antagonists failed to produce analgesic effect in healthy control *** addition,incubation of norepinephrine（NE） significantly enhanced ATP-induced calcium signal,which was abolished by propranolol but not by adrenergic a-receptor antagonist *** potentiation of ATP response induced by NE incubation was partially blocked by protein kinase A inhibitor ***,an adenylyl cyclase activator,markedly enhanced ATP-induced responses of pancreas specific DRG *** Sensitization of P2X receptors,which was likely mediated by adrenergic signaling in primary sensory neurons,contributes to pancreatic hyperalgesia,thus identifying a potential target for treating pancreatic

Iron catalysts are ideal transition metal catalysts because of the Earths abundant, cheap, biocompatible features of iron salts. Iron catalysts often have unique open-shell structures that easily undergo spin crossover in chemical transformations, a feature rarely found in noble metal catalysts. Unfortunately, little is known currently about how the open-shell structure and spin crossover affect the reactivity and selectivity of iron catalysts, which makes the development of iron catalysts a low efficient trial-and-error program. In this paper, a combination of experiments and theoretical calculations revealed that the iron-catalyzed hydrosilylation of alkynes is typical spin-crossover catalysis. Deep insight into the electronic structures of a set of well-defined open-shell active formal Fe(0) catalysts revealed that the spin-delocalization between the iron center and the 1,10-phenanthroline ligand effectively regulates the iron center's spin and oxidation state to meet the opposite electrostatic requirements of oxidative addition and reductive elimination, respectively,and the spin crossover is essential for this electron transfer process. The triplet transition state was essential for achieving high regioselectivity through tuning the nonbonding interactions. These findings provide an important reference for understanding the effect of catalyst spin state on reaction. It is inspiring for the development of iron catalysts and other Earth-abundant metal catalysts, especially from the point of view of ligand development.

A Self-Healing Elastomer with Extremely High Toughness Achieved by Acylsemicarbazide Hydrogen Bonding and Cu^(2+)-Neocuproine Coordination Interactions

Elastomers with high mechanical toughness can guarantee their durability during service ***-healing ability,as well as recyclability,can also extend the life of materials and save the consuming cost of the *** efforts have been dedicated to promoting the mechanical toughness as well as the self-healing capability of elastomers at the same time,while it remains a challenge to balance the trade-off between the above properties in one *** we proposed a molecular design driven by dual interactions of acylsemicarbazide hydrogen bonding and Cu^(2+)-neocuproine coordination *** introducing the reversible multiple hydrogen bonds and strong coordination bonds,we successfully fabricated an extremely tough and self-healing *** elastomer can achieve an impressive top-notch toughness of 491 MJ/m^(3).Furthermore,it boasted rapid elastic restorability within 10 min and outstanding crack tolerance with high fracture energy(152.6kJ/m^(2)).Benefiting from the combination of dynamic interactions,the material was able to self-repair under 80℃conveniently and could be reprocessed to restore the exceptional mechanical properties.
