In recent years,outpatient scheduling problem has attracted much *** paper considers the outpatient scheduling problem as an extension of the flexible job shop scheduling problem（FJSP）,where the patient is considered as a ***,to solve the outpatient scheduling problem,a hybrid imperialist competitive algorithm（HICA） is *** the proposed algorithm,the simulated annealing（SA） algorithm and estimation of distribution algorithm（EDA） are embedded to improve the quality of the ***,the two realistic constraints,i.e.,switching time and preparation time of patients are also considered to make the problem closer to the ***,to verify the performance of the proposed HICA,different outpatient scheduling problem instances are randomly generated and used for simulation *** efficient algorithms,including imperialist competitive algorithm（ICA）,improved genetic algorithm（IGA）,EDA,and modified artificial immune algorithm（MAIA）,are selected for detailed *** simulation results confirm that the proposed algorithm can solve the outpatient scheduling problem with high efficiency.

An improved harmony search algorithm is presented for solving continuous optimization problems in this paper. In the proposed algorithm, an elimination principle is developed for choosing from the harmony memory, so that the harmonies with better fitness will have more opportunities to be selected in generating new harmonies. Two key control parameters, pitch adjustment rate（P AR） and bandwidth distance（bw）, are dynamically adjusted to favor exploration in the early stages and exploitation during the final stages of the search process with the different search spaces of the optimization problems. Numerical results of 12 benchmark problems show that the proposed algorithm performs more effectively than the existing HS variants in finding better solutions.

Automatic guided vehicles dispatching problem（AGVDP） has important applications in matrix production *** this paper, we present a mathematical model for the AGVDP. Then, a new violating time decreasing method is designed to reduce the transportation cost. An effective discrete invasive weed optimization algorithm（DIWO） is proposed. In the proposed DIWO algorithm, a nearest-neighbor-based heuristic is used to generate initial population with high quality, a local search is applied to enhance the local search capability. A comprehensive calculation campaign based on 110 benchmark examples from actual factory is carried out in this paper. The comparative evaluations show that the proposed DIWO algorithm has much better performance than other algorithms.

Covariance of the orbital state of a resident space object(RSO)is a necessary requirement for various space situational awareness tasks,like the space collision *** describes an accuracy envelope of the RSO's ***,in current space surveillance,the tracking data of an individual RSO is often found insufficiently accurate and sparsely distributed,making the predicted covariance(PC)derived from the tracking data and classical orbit dynamic system usually unrealistic in describing the error characterization of orbit *** the fact that the tracking data of an RSO from a single station or a fixed network share a similar temporal and spatial distribution,the evolution of PC could share a hidden relationship with that data *** study proposes a novel method to generate accurate PC by combining the classical covariance propagation method and the data-driven *** popular machine learning algorithms are applied to model the inconsistency between the orbit prediction error and the PC from historical observations,and then this inconsistency model is used for the future *** results with the Swarm constellation satellites demonstrate that the trained Random Forest models can capture more than 95%of the underlying inconsistency in a tracking scenario of sparse *** importantly,the trained models show great generalization capability in correcting the PC of future epochs and other RSOs with similar orbit characteristics and observation ***,a deep analysis of generalization performance is carried out to describe the temporal and spatial similarities of two data sets,in which the Jaccard similarity is *** demonstrates that the higher the Jaccard similarity is,the better the generalization performance will be,which may be used as a guide to whether to apply the trained models of a satellite to other ***,the generalization performance is also evaluated by the classical Cramer v

The Jiangsu coastal area is located in central-eastern China and is well known for complicated dynamics with large-scale radial sand ridge systems. It is therefore a challenge to simulate typhoon-induced storm surges in this area. In this study, a two-dimensional astronomical tide and storm surge coupling model was established to simulate three typical types of typhoons in the area. The Holland parameter model was used to simulate the wind field and wind pressure of the typhoon and the Japanese 55-year reanalysis data were added as the background wind field. The offshore boundary information was provided by an improved Northwest Pacific Ocean Tide Model. Typhoon-induced storm surges along the Jiangsu coast were calculated based on analysis of wind data from 1949 to 2013 and the spatial distribution of the maximum storm surge levels with different types of typhoons, providing references for the design of sea dikes and planning for control of coastal disasters.

Medicinal plants or Chinese materia medica(CMM)are now attracting worldwide attention as they have increasingly prominent advantages over chemical drugs in disease treatment and *** the 1990s,World Health Organization(WHO)and International Organization for Standardization established the Technical Committee of Traditional Chinese Medicine(ISO/TC 249)have carried out the development of quality standards on medicinal plants or CMMs respectively,and a considerable number of monographs and international standards have been *** the two international organizations adhere to different principles,the standards they develop naturally have different *** by market demand and international trade,ISO mainly takes quality,efficacy and safety into consideration when developing standards,while WHO pays more attention to clinical practice,quality control and medication *** to now,there is a lack of comparative analysis on the records,background,principles,basic content,and main requirements of quality standards on medicinal plants or CMMs respectively published by WHO and ***,based on international standards of CMM developed by ISO/TC 249 platform and WHO Monographs on Selected Medicinal Plants,this paper systematically compares the purposes,selected principles,standard-developing process,basic content,and main quality requirements to summarize their similarities and differences,and find their merits,aiming to serve as a reference to the development of international standards for CMMs that helps them go global.

Supercontinuum generation(SCG) and its application on all-optical quantization of all-optical analog-to-digital conversions(AOADCs) at the mid-infrared region in an Al GaAs strip waveguide are investigated numerically. The simulation results show that when the parabolic pulse is input, not only broader and higher-coherence SCG is obtained and a higher effective number of bits(ENOB) can be achieved, compared with the input pulse with hyperbolic-secant and Gaussian shaping. A four-bit quantization resolution is achieved along with a signal-to-noise ratio of 24.02 dB and an ENOB of3.99 bit, and the required input peak power is 760 mW.

Background Deoxynivalenol(DON)is a mycotoxin that has received recognition worldwide because of its ability to cause growth delay,nutrient malabsorption,weight loss,emesis,and a reduction of feed intake in *** DON-contaminated feedstuff is absorbed in the gastrointestinal tract,we used chicken organoids to assess the DON-induced dysfunction of the small *** We established a culture system using chicken organoids and characterized the organoids at passages 1 and *** confirmed the mRNA expression levels of various cell markers in the organoids,such as KI67,leucine-rich repeat containing G protein-coupled receptor 5(Lgr5),mucin 2(MUC2),chromogranin A(CHGA),cytokeratin 19(CK19),lysozyme(LYZ),and microtubule-associated doublecortin-like kinase 1(DCLK1),and compared the results to those of the small *** results showed that the organoids displayed functional similarities in permeability compared to the small *** damaged the tight junctions of the organoids,which resulted in increased *** Our organoid culture displayed topological,genetic,and functional similarities with the small intes-tine *** on these similarities,we confirmed that DON causes small intestine *** organoids offer a practical model for the research of harmful substances.
