Integrated photonic quantum circuits(IPQCs)have attracted increasing attention in recent years due to their widespread applications in quantum information science.While the most envisioned quantum technologies such as quantum communications,quantum computer and quantum simulations have placed a strict constraint on the scalability of chip-integrated quantum light sources.By introducing sizeconfined nanostructures or crystal imperfections,low-dimensional semiconductors have been broadly explored as chip-scale deterministic single-photon sources(SPSs).Thus far a variety of chip-integrated deterministic SPSs have been investigated across both monolithic and hybrid photonic platforms,including molecules,quantum dots,color centers and two-dimensional materials.With the rapid development of the chip-scale generation of single photons with deterministic quantum emitters,the field of IPQCs has raised new challenges and opportunities.In this paper,we highlight recent progress in the development of waveguide-coupled deterministic SPSs towards scalable IPQCs,and review the post-growth tuning techniques that are specifically developed to engineer the optical properties of these WG-coupled SPSs.Future prospects on stringent requirement for the quantum engineering toolbox in the burgeoning field of integrated photonics are also discussed.

Purpose The High-Energy Photon Source(HEPS)is a 6 GeV storage ring-based light source under construction in Beijing,China.Its accelerator consists of a 6 GeV storage ring,a full-energy booster,an S-band normal-conducting 500 MeV linac,and three transport lines.As the beginning of HEPS,a stable linac is quite important,which needs a qualified waveguide distribution system to transmit microwave power from klystrons to accelerating structures.Methods Installation and high-power conditioning of the HEPS linac were performed from February to September 2022.The assembly and conditioning of the waveguide distribution system were completed in April and July,respectively.The design of the waveguide distribution system began in 2018 and was finalized at the end of 2020 after multiple iterations.Results Owing to careful design,fabrication,and assembly preparation,the assembly and conditioning of the system proceeded smoothly and considerable time was saved.Conclusion The entire process from the design to the ultimate realization of the system is introduced in detail in this paper.Satisfactory measurement results were obtained for some waveguide components.

受新自由主义改革绩效不理想和职前教师教育项目认证存在诸多弊端的影响,近年来,新西兰政府积极推进职前教师教育项目认证的改革工作。改革举措主要包括:建立新西兰教学委员会,确立其在认证中的领导地位;重塑认证标准框架体系,制定符合时代发展趋势的认证标准;构建认证后项目质量监督保障机制,促进项目持续改进;提出规范证据性质、管理的各项要求,破解盲目循证的"迷局"等。有鉴于此,我国师范类专业认证可进行如下探索:注重各方协同推进,搭建部、省、校三位一体认证组织框架;紧跟时代发展趋势,动态化管理认证标准应对认证需求变动;落实持续改进理念,建立健全认证后专业质量监督保障机制;推动科学循证认证,孕育多层次证据应用生态应对实践困境。

Background： Neuromyelitis optica spectrum disorder （NMOSD） was long believed to be an aggressive form of multiple sclerosis （MS）. This study aimed to describe the clinical features of patients with MS and NMOSD to assist in differential diagnoses in clinical practice. Methods： Data including the patients＇ serum and cerebrospinal fluid （CSF） tests, image findings, and clinical information from 175 patients with MS or NMOSD at Xuanwu Hospital, Capital Medical University from November 2012 to May 2014 were collected and analyzed retrospectively. An enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay was performed to detect the myelin oligodendrocyte glycoprotein （MOG） autoantibodies in CSF and serum. Cell-based assays were used to detect aquaporin-4-antibody （AQP4-Ab）. The Chi-square test was used to compare the categorical variables. Wilcoxon rank sum test was peribrmed to analyze the continuous variables. Results： Totally 85 MS patients （49%） and 90 NMOSD patients （51%） were enrolled, including 124 （71%） women and 51 （29%） men. Fewer MS patients （6%） had autoinamune diseases compared to NMOSD （19%）（x2= 6.9, P 〈 0.01 ）. Patients with NMOSD had higher Expanded Disability Status Scale scores （3.5 [3]） than MS group （2 [2]）（x2= -3.69, P 〈 0.01）. The CSF levels of white cell count and protein in both two groups were slightly elevated titan the normal range, without significant difference between each other. Positivity of serum AQP4-Ab in NMOSD patients was higher than that in MS patients （MS： 0, NMOSD： 67%; x2= 63.9, P 〈 0.01 ）. Oligoclonal bands in CSF among NMOSD patients were remarkably lower than that among MS （MS： 59%, NMOSD： 20%; x2= 25.7, P 〈 0.01）. No significant difference of MOG autoantibodies was found between the two groups. Conclusion： The different CSF features combined with clinical, magnetic resonance imaging, and serum characteristics between Chinese patients with MS and NMOSD could assist in the differential diagnosis.

目的对一种国产丁型肝炎病毒核酸定量试剂(简称"国产HDV RNA试剂")进行质量评估和初步临床应用探索。方法基于Bio-Rad CFX Opus 96实时荧光定量PCR分析系统的国产HDV RNA试剂对WHO HDV RNA国际标准品系列稀释样本进行分析,对国产HDV RNA试剂的灵敏度和准确度进行评价,并将人工合成的假病毒或病毒培养物稀释后用于国产HDV RNA试剂线性范围评价;采用国产HDV RNA试剂对HAV、HBV、HCV感染的阳性样本以及HEV国家参考品进行分析,对其特异性进行评价;用国产HDV RNA试剂测试高、低两个水平的样本,进行精密度评价;用基于ABI 7500 FAST DX荧光定量PCR仪的RoboGene HDV RNA作为对比试剂与国产HDV RNA试剂平行检测30例丁型肝炎病毒抗体IgG(HDV IgG)阳性样本,采用Pearson相关系数(r)评价2种试剂的相关性。结果国产HDV RNA试剂的灵敏度为6 IU/ml,与对比试剂宣称的灵敏度一致;对WHO HDV RNA标准品的标定曲线的斜率为-3.286,扩增效率为101.6%,对8种HDV基因型的线性检测范围为10~108 IU/ml;与HAV、HBV、HCV和HEV不发生交叉反应;对5个浓度水平样本的准确度评价符合要求,对高、低两个水平样本的批内精密度变异系数在1.20%~4.20%,批间精密度变异系数在1.20%~7.90%。对HDV IgG阳性样本的检测结果与对比试剂一致(r=0.984,P<0.001),与测序结果比较准确率为100%。结论本研究中国产HDV RNA试剂表现出较好的特异性、准确度、精密度和较宽的线性范围,灵敏度达到国际同类型试剂的水平。

BACKGRouND Erythropoiesis-stimulating agents(ESAs)have revolutionized the therapeutic strategy for anemia in chronic kidney disease.However,some cases are resistant or hyporesponsive to ESAs.Roxadustat is an oral hypoxia-inducible factor-prolyl hydroxylase inhibitor that stimulates erythropoiesis and regulates iron metabolism.Here,we describe a hemodialysis patient with refractory anemia who did not respond to traditional treatments and depended on blood transfusion for more than 1 year.After applying Roxadustat,the patient’s anemia improved significantly.CASE SUMMARY A 44-year-old man was diagnosed with uremia accompanied by severe anemia with a hemoglobin(Hb)level ranging from 30-40 g/L.His anemia did not improve after sufficient dialysis or high doses of active ESAs;other causes of anemia were excluded.The patient required approximately 600-1000 mL of red blood cell suspension every 15-30 d for more than 1 year.After accepting Roxadustat therapy,the patient’s anemia symptoms improved significantly;his Hb level gradually increased to 50 g/L,and no further blood transfusions were administered.His Hb level reached 69 g/L by the 34th week.Although a Hb level of 60-70 g/L cannot be considered satisfactory,he no longer required blood transfusions and his quality of life was substantially improved.Roxadustat showed good efficacy and safety in this case.CONCLUSION Roxadustat represents an innovative and effective agent for the clinical treatment of renal anemia caused by multiple complex factors.

Simvastatin attenuates bleomycin-induced pulmonary fibrosis in mice

Background Bleomycin-induced fibrosis is extensively used to model aspects of the pathogenesis of interstitial pulmonary fibrosis. This study aimed to determine the benefic effects and mechanisms of simvastatin on bleomycininduced pulmonary fibrosis in mice. Methods Bleomycin-induced pulmonary fibrosis mice were administered with simvastatin in different doses for 28 days. We measured inflammatory response, fibrogenic cytokines and profibrogenic markers in both bleomycin-stimulated and control lungs, and correlated these parameters with pulmonary fibrosis. Results Simvastatin attenuated the histopathological change of bleomycin-induced pulmonary fibrosis and prevented the increase of lung hydroxyproline content and collagen （Ⅰ and Ⅲ） mRNA expression induced by bleomycin. Moreover, simvastatin down-regulated the increased expression of transforming growth factor-β1 （TGF-β1） and connective tissue growth factor （CTGF） induced by bleomycin at both gene and protein levels. Simultaneously, the accumulation of neutrophils and lymphocytes and the increased production of tumor necrosis factor-a （TNF-α） in bronchial alveolar lavage fluid were inhibited by simvastatin in early inflammatory phase after bleomycin infusion. The higher dose of simvastatin was associated with a more significant reduction in these inflammatory and fibrotic parameters. Furthermore, the inactivation of p38, RhoA and Smad2/3 signaling pathways was observed during simvastatin administration. Conclusions Simvastatin attenuated bleomycin-induced pulmonary fibrosis, as indicated by decreases in Ashcroft score and lung collagen accumulation. The inhibitory effect of simvastatin on the progression of pulmonary fibrosis may be demonstrated by reducing inflammatory response and production of TGF-β1 and CTGR These findings indicate that simvastatin may be used in the treatment of pulmonary fibrosis.

Chemical oxygen generators(COGs)have been used worldwide in confined spaces as an emergency oxygen supply technology,mainly because they are independent and have a long shelf life.However,a number of challenges related to COGs remain unsolved,and a literature review of the current state of the technology is needed.First,the present article summarizes the basic information and applications of COGs,including their oxygen production mechanism,components,forming technology,and ignition system.Four current challenges encountered in applying COGs are discussed,along with the strategies adopted thus far to solve these problems,as found in the published literature.The literature survey reveals that,although much effort has been devoted to controlling the oxygen production rate and the heat output of COGs,the mechanism of producing toxic gases remains unclear and a reliable and safe ignition system has not been fully developed.Finally,future opportunities in the development of COGs are briefly listed.

Microstructure and microsegregation of directionally solidified Ti-45Al-8Nb alloy were investigated by scanning electron microscopy（SEM）,transmission electron microscopy（TEM） and electron probe microanalyzer（EPMA）.For the alloy solidified at the solidification rates（v） ranging from 10 to 400 μm·s^（-1）,the microstructure of the mushy zone exhibits a cellular-dendritic structure at lower growth rate（v=10-50 μm·s^（-1）） and a typical dendritic morphology at higher growth rate（v = 100-400 μm·s^（-1））.The relationship between primary dendrite arm spacing（λ_1）and v is λ_1=1.08×10~3v^（-0.35）.Al and Nb elements segregate at interdendritic zone and in the dendritic core,respectively.In solid of mushy zone,a relatively flat concentration profile is observed for the typical dendrite structure,and Nb enriches in B2 phase induced by β→α＋βtransformation.The content of B2 phase is hardly affected by v.The extent of microsegregation in steady-state zone decreases at a lower growth rate because holding the samples at higher temperature after solidification for a long time can homogenize the solid effectively.

The Influence of Large-Scale Circulation on the Summer Hydrological Cycle in the Haihe River Basin of China

In this study, we focus on changes in three important components of the hydrological-cycle in the Haihe River basin （HRB） during 1957-2005： precipitation （Prep）, actual evaportranspiration （ETa）, and pan evaporation （PE）-a measure of potential evaporation. The changes in these components have been evaluated in relation to changes in the East Asian summer monsoon. Summer Prep for the whole basin has decreased significantly during 1957-2005. Recent weakening of the convergence of the integrated water vapor flux, in combination with a change from cyclonic-like large-scale circulation conditions to anti-cyclonic-like conditions, led to the decrease in the summer Prep in the HRB. ETa is positively correlated with Prep on the interannual timescale. On longer timescales, however, ETa is less dependent on Prep or the large-scale circulation. We found negative trends in ETa when the ERA40 reanalysis data were used, but positive trends in ETa when the NCEP/NCAR reanalysis data were used. PE declined during the period 1957-2001. The declining of PE could be explained by a combination of declining solar radiation and declining surface wind. However, the declining solar radiation may itself be related to the weakening winds, due to weaker dispersion of pollution. If so, the downward trend of PE may be mainly caused by weakening winds.
