In this study,a total of 177 flexural experimental tests of corroded reinforced concrete(CRC)beams were collected from the published *** database of flexural capacity of CRC beam was established by using unified and standardized experimental *** this database,the effects of various parameters on the flexural capacity of CRC beams were discussed,including beam width,the effective height of beam section,ratio of strength between longitudinal reinforcement and concrete,concrete compressive strength,and longitudinal reinforcement corrosion *** results indicate that the corrosion of longitudinal reinforcement has the greatest effect on the residual flexural capacity of CRC beams,while other parameters have much less *** addition,six available empirical models for calculating the residual flexural strength of CRC beams were also collected and compared with each other based on the established *** indicates that though five of six existing empirical models underestimate the flexural capacity of CRC beams,there is one model overestimating the flexural ***,a newly developed empirical model is proposed to provide accurate and effective predictions in a large range of corrosion ratio for safety assessment of flexural failure of CRC beams confirmed by the comparisons.

High-angle annular dark-field scanning transmission electron microscopy and selected area electron diffraction techniques were used to study the mechanism that underlies the influence of rapid cold-stamping deformation on the fracture behavior of the elongated nanoprecipitated phase in extruded Al−Cu−Mg *** show that the interface between the long strip-shaped S′phase and the aluminum matrix in the extruded Al−Cu−Mg alloy is flat and breaks during rapid cold-stamping *** breaking mechanisms are distortion and brittle failure,redissolution,and *** breakage of the long strip S′phase increases the contact surface between the S′phase and the aluminum matrix and improves the interfacial distortion *** effect accounts for the higher free energy of the S′phase than that of the matrix and creates conditions for the redissolution of solute atoms back into the aluminum *** brittle S′phase produces a resolved step during rapid cold-stamping *** step further accelerates the diffusion of solute atoms and promotes the redissolution of the S′***,the S′phase necks and separates,and the long strip-shaped S′phase in the extruded Al−Cu−Mg alloy is broken into a short and thin S′phase.

In this paper, a class of fuzzy BAM neural networks with time varying delays is discussed. By using the properties of M-matrix, Linear Matrix Inequality（LMI） approach and general Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional, some new sufficient conditions are derived to ensure the existence of periodic solutions and the global exponential stability of the fuzzy BAM neural networks with time varying delays. These results have important significance in the design of global exponential stable BAM networks with delays. Moreover, an example is given to illustrate that the conditions of the results in the paper are feasible.

Double-exchange(DE) interaction plays an important role in electrocatalytic oxygen evolution reaction(OER).However,precise achievement of DE interaction often requires foreign dopants or vacancy engineering,leading to destabilization of the catalysts and deterioration of *** contrast,the utilization of environmentally friendly,contactless,and continuously adjustable magnetic fields to study the OER process is profitable to avoid aforementioned interference factors and further elucidate the direct relationship_(0.5)between DE interaction and OER ***,by using cobalt hydroxide carbonate(Co(OH)(CO_(3))·xH_(2)O,CoHC) nanostructures as a proof-of-concept study,external magnetic fields are carefully implemented to verify the role of DE interaction during water oxidation *** studies reveal that external magnetic fields effectively enhance the reaction rate of the catalyst,the overpotential decreases from 386 to 355 mV(100 mA·cm^(-2)),while Tafel slopes drastically decline from 93 to 67 mV·dec^(-1)(1.0 T).Moreover,magnetic field increment exhibits robust *** in situ Raman and impedance measurements under external field,it can be found that magnetic field promotes the electron migration between Co^(2+) and Co^(3+) in the CoHC catalysts with the assistance of DE interactions,thus boosting the OER efficiency.

Viscoelastic surfactants(VES)are often used as viscous diverters in acidizing stimulation to prolong the acid consumption time and maximize zonal coverage of the acid for improving well ***,the ceiling temperature of commercial VES cannot exceed 120℃in practical use because of the poor thermal stability and fragile molecular structure,hindering their implementation in hightemperature oil reservoirs,i.e.,≥150℃.Here we synthesized a novel C22-tailed diamine,N-erucaminopropyl-N,N-dimethylamine(EDPA),and examined comparatively its rheological behavior,assemblies morphology and molecular stability in 20 wt%HCl with a commercial VES,erucyl dimethyl amidopropyl betaine(EDAB).The feasibility of EDPA for acidizing stimulation was assessed by acid etching of carbonate rock with its HCl solution at 150℃.Rheological results showed that the 2.5 wt%EDPA—20 wt%HCl solution maintains stable viscosity of 90 m Pa s at 150℃for 60 min,while that of 2.0 wt%EDAB HCl solution is just 1 m Pa s under identical conditions.1H NMR spectra and cryo-TEM observations revealed that the chemical structure and self-assembled architectures of EDPA remained intact in such context,but the EDAB suffered from degradation due to the hydrolysis of the amide group,accounting for the poor heat-resistance and *** reaction rate of 2.5 wt%EDPA HCl solution with carbonate rock was one order of magnitude lower than that of 20 wt%HCl solution at 150℃,underpinning the potential of EDPA to be used in the high-temperature reservoirs *** work improved the thermal tolerance of VES in highly concentrated HCl solution,paving a feasible way for the acidization of high-temperature reservoir environments(~150℃).

A novel process based on chlorination roasting was proposed to simultaneously recover gold and zinc from refractory carbonaceous gold ore by using NaCl as chlorination *** effects of roasting temperature,roasting time and NaCl content on the volatilization rates of gold and zinc were *** reaction mechanism and the phase transition process were also analyzed by means of SEM,EDS and *** results demonstrated that under the optimal conditions of NaCl content of 10%,roasting temperature of 800℃,roasting time of 4 h and gas flow rate of 1 L/min,the rates of gold and zinc were 92%and 92.56%,*** low-temperature chlorination roasting stage,a certain content of sulfur was beneficial to the chlorination reactions of gold and zinc;and during high-temperature chlorination roasting stage,the crystal structure of vanadium-bearing mica was destroyed,and the vanadium-containing oxides were beneficial to the chlorinating volatilization of gold and ***,the chlorinated volatiles of gold and zinc could be recovered by alkaline solution.

Intelligent and connected vehicles(ICVs)are confronted with critically complex traffic scenarios and safety challenges that have attracted increasing attention from academia and *** intelligent safety of ICVs involves several technologies and requires the common efforts of researchers and engineers,including the safety of the intended functionality(SOTIF),the safety of artificial intelligence,the intricacies of cybersecurity,and ethical *** the intelligent safety of ICVs presents substantial chal-lenges in both research and commercialization,particularly SOTIF,which refers to the absence of unreasonable risk owing to hazards resulting from functional insufficiencies of the intended functiona-lity or reasonably foreseeable misuse by *** of the limited scene coverage ability of training samples and the practical application conditions without boundary restrictions,it is very dif-ficult to find the functional insufficiency of the intended function-ality and overcome it under dynamic unknown scenarios,which is also the source of SOTIF.

In order to isolate meiotic chromosomes of Populus species meiotic chromosome preparation techniques of pollen mother cells for laser micro-dissection were studied. Pollen mother cells at diakinesis ofPopulus canadensis Moench were used as samples. Two methods were used to prepare meiotic chromosomes： in the first, cell suspensions were dropped on polyethylene-naphthalate or polyester membrane slides which had just been incubated at -20~C; in the second method, cell suspensions were also dropped on polyethylene-naphthalate or polyester membrane slides, but spread with the aid of high temperatures. The cells did not completely spread by the first method and chromosomes at diakinesis could not be individually distinguished. In contrast, well-spread diakinesis chromosomes were obtained by the second method, where chromosomes, connected with their nucleolus, were successfully isolated with the laser micro-dissection system. As well, we discuss the prospect of applications of laser micro-dissection in cytogeneties and molecular genetics in Populus species.

BACKGROUND Pyogenic liver abscesses are insidious in the early *** cases progress rapidly,and the patient’s condition can worsen and even become life-threatening if timely treatment is not *** and prolonged antibiotic treatment are often required if the abscess is large and liquefied and becomes separated within the *** SUMMARY We report a case of bacterial liver abscess with a poor outcome following pharmacological treatment,review the literature related to the use of platelet-rich plasma(PRP)in the treatment of hepatic impairment and partial hepatectomy in animals,and discuss the prognostic features of surgical incision and drainage combined with PRP in the treatment of bacterial liver *** is the first case describing the use of PRP in the treatment of a bacterial liver abscess in humans,providing new ideas for the treatment of this *** This case highlights the importance of surgical treatment for bacterial liver abscesses that are well liquefied and poorly managed *** may produce antimicrobial effects and promote the regeneration and repair of liver tissue.
