The title compound （2S,2＇S,4＇R）-2-（1-hydroxy-1-ethylpropyl）-1-[（1＇-p-tosyl-4＇- hydroxypyrolidin-2＇-yl）methyl]pyrrolidine synthesized by using （2S,4R）-4-hydroxy-L-proline and L-proline as the main materials was characterized through IR, ^1H NMR, ^13C NMR and HRMS spectra as well as single-crystal X-ray diffraction analysis. There is one equivalent ethanol involved in the crystal （C23H40N2O5S, Mr = 456.63）. The crystal belongs to the triclinic system, space group P1, a = 6.5628（13）, b = 8.4228（17）, c = 11.957（2）°A, α= 80.54（3）,β= 83.19（3）, γ= 89.89（3）°, V= 647.3（2） °A^3, Z = 1, D, = 1.171 g/cm^3, λ（MoKα） = 0.71073°A,β = 0.158 mm^-1, F（000） = 248, the final R = 0.0465 and wR = 0.1336 for 1769 observed reflections with I〉 2σ（I）. The adjacent molecules of compound 5 are linked through intermolecular hydrogen bonds formed by the secondary hydroxy group of one molecule with the tertiary hydroxy group of another one, and the molecular chains are further linked by ethanol through two kinds of hydrogen bonds with two molecules from different chains respectively to form a supramolecular structure.

Microporous supports typically fail to fully expose active sites for electrolytes and CO_(2) molecules,and this usually results in low current density for the electrocatalytic CO_(2) reduction reaction(CO_(2)RR).To overcome the biggest obstacle and facilitate commercial applications,defective single-atomic Ni-N_(3) sites anchored to ordered micro-macroporous N-doped carbon(Ni-N/OMC)have been prepared by the pyrolysis of the Ni-ZIF-8@PS(ZIF=zeolitic imidazolate framework)and are intended to provide enhanced CO_(2)RR with a current density at an industrial *** Ni-ZIF-8@PS is constructed of nickel-based ZIF-8 embedded in the three-dimensional(3D)highly ordered polystyrene spheres(PS).The 3D ordered micro-macroporous architecture of Ni-N/OMC could facilitate the mass transfer of substrates to the accessible defective single-atomic Ni-N_(3) sites through micropores(0.6 nm)and macropores(~200 nm)interconnected by 50 nm *** a flow cell,Ni-N/OMC exhibits almost 100.0%CO Faraday efficiency(FECO)between−0.2 and−1.1 V *** and an industrial level CO partial current density of 208 mA cm^(−2).It has a turnover frequency of 1.5×10^(5) h^(−1) at−1.1 V *** in 1 M KOH electrolyte,which exceeds that of most reported nickel-based *** excellent CO_(2)RR performance for Ni-N/OMC makes it a state-of-the-art electrocatalyst for CO_(2)*** calculations show that the defective Ni-N_(3) site can lower the energy of*COOH formation compared with that of the Ni-N4 site,thereby accelerating CO_(2)***-N/OMC can also be utilized as a cathodic catalyst in Zn-CO_(2) battery,exhibiting high CO selectivity in the discharge process and excellent *** work paves a pathway to rational design of highly efficient electrocatalysts with 3D hierarchically ordered micro-macroporous architecture for CO_(2)RR towards industrial production and commercial applications.

This paper studied the distribution and utilization status, reasonable exploitation patterns and potential productivity, and sustainable development of marginal lands in the Three Gorge Reservoir Areas. It has been pointed that problems of the soil fertility degradation, poor productivity in crop lands, natural disasters and environmental deterioration existed in all the exploited marginal lands. In order to maintain the sustainability of the marginal lands, following measure have been proposed: prohibiting cultivation in the crop lands with a slope more than 25°, restoring vegetation in the slope more than 25°, strengthening the basic agricultural construction, establishing the production base of woody feeds and oils, establishing a multi dimensional management model with reasonable structure and optimum function for forestry, agriculture and fishing.

Objective This study analyzed patterns of suicide and suicide attempts by poisoning as reported through a national poison control system for the purpose of improving intervention and prevention. Methods During the period of 2000 to 2006, 6440 cases of poisoning suicide were reported to the telephone consultation service system of The National Center for Poisoning Control （Chinese Center for Disease Control and Prevention）. Among these records, 4728 cases had completed data for this analysis in terms of age, sex, trend of time and location, and type of poisons. Results There were 60.6% female cases with the age from 10 to 90 years old. The age of cases from 20 to 39 years accounted for 54.5% of all age groups. Both the numbers and percentage in record related to poisoning consultation of oral poisoning suicide showed an increasing tendency during the 7 years. In particular, there was a drastic increase from 2004 to 2006. In addition, the high frequency of cases occurred from May to October. Hebei, Shandong, Henan, and Anhui Provinces had the highest number of cases. Pesticide poisonings were the most common method in these cases of consultation for suicide and suicide attempts. Conclusion This study describes epidemiological characteristics in the oral poisoning suicide cases and provides scientific basis for suicide prevention interventions.

AIM: To identify the disease-causing mutation in a fourgeneration Chinese family diagnosed with Nance-Horan syndrome(NHS). METHODS: A Chinese family, including four affected patients and four healthy siblings, was recruited. All family members received ophthalmic examinations with medical histories provided. Targeted next-generation sequencing approach was conducted on the two affected males to screen for their disease-causing mutations. RESULTS: Two male family members diagnosed with NHS manifested bilateral congenital cataracts microcornea, strabismus and subtle facial and dental abnormalities, while female carriers presented posterior Y-sutural cataracts. A novel frameshift mutation(c.3916_3919 del) in the NHS gene was identified. This deletion was predicted to alter the reading frame and generate a premature termination codon after a new reading frame. CONCLUSION: The study discovers a new frameshift mutation in a Chinese family with NHS. The findings broaden the spectrum of NHS mutations that can cause NHS in Chinese patients.

The development of effective and sustainable solutions for pleiotropic water purification becomes urgent and *** Fenton-like catalysts for activation of peroxymonosulfate(PMS)to purify organic wastewater show great *** this work,by tuning metal loading with an in-situ polydopamine coating strategy,oxygen vacancy-enriched Co_(3)O_(4) loading on N-doped carbon nanotubes(CNTs)were constructed to enhance PMS activation efficiency for pollutants ***,the obtained modified CNTs afford a well-developed N-containing network structure,which is further endowed with abundant Co(Ⅱ)/Co(Ⅲ)redox cycles and significant metal-carbon *** particular,the surface N doping in CNTs might induce the oriented enrichment of pollutants around the catalyst,which reduces the migration distance and correspondingly improves the utilization of reactive oxidative *** electron transfer efficiency of the catalyst can be further improved by incorporating oxygen vacancy-enriched Co_(3)O_(4).The performance results show that the optimal NC/Co-1 could mineralize 20×10^(-6)of bisphenol A(BPA)by almost 98%in 8 min.A low reaction activation energy(26.05 kJ·mol^(-1))in BPA degradation was demonstrated by the NC/*** importantly,NC/Co-1 can inherit excellent degradation performance towards oxytetracycline,2,4-dichlorophenol,and tetracycline,showing wide practical *** addition,by virtue of the photothermal conversion property,NC/Co-1 achieves an additive function for interfacial solar water evaporation(1.84 kg·m^(-2)·h^(-1),112.51%),showing impressive potential for clean water recovery under complicated environmental pollution conditions.

Photothermal material applied in environmental governance has attracted growing *** combining the Stober method and dopamine-triggered coating strategy,Co-Mn precursor was in situ incorporated into the poly dopamine(PDA)layer over the surface of silica ***,a unique photothermal nanosphere with SiO_(2)core and thin carbon layer and dual Co-Mn oxides shell was allowed to form by sequential heat treatment in the inert atmosphere(SiO_(2)@CoMn/C).The bimetallic fraction of Co/Mn in the carbon layer and post-treatment calcination temperature was comprehensively tuned to optimize the peroxymonosulfate(PMS)activation performance of the *** state of bimetallic species was studied including their physical distribution,chemical valence,and interplay by various ***,Co oxides appear as dominant monodispersed nanoparticles(~10 nm),while Mn with cluster-like morphology is observed to uniformly distribute over thin-layer carbon and adhered to the surface of SiO_(2)nanospheres(~250 nm).The calcined temperature could tune the oxidized state of Co species,leading to the optimization of the catalytic performance of introduced dual metal *** a result,this obtained optimal catalyst integrated the advantages of exposed bimetallic CoMn species and N-doped thin carbon to deliver excellent catalytic PMS activation performance and photothermal synergetic catalytic mineralization ability for diversiform *** reactions condition controls and anion interference studies were conducted to identify the adaptability of the optimal ***,the application of solar-driven interfacial water evaporation using optimal SiO_(2)@Co_3Mn_1/C-600 catalyst was explored,showing a high water evaporation rate of 1.48 kg·m^(-2)·h^(-1)and an efficiency of 95.2%,further revealing a comprehensive governance functionality of obtained material in the complex pollution condition.
