Copper phthalocyanine(CuPc)is adopted as an electrolyte additive to stabilize lithium anode for lithiumsulfur(Li-S)*** with a planar molecular structure and lithiophilic N-containing group,is likely to be adsorbed on the surface of Li anode to form a coating layer,which can restrict the direct contact between Li anode and solvents,and guide the uniform deposition of Li^(+)*** Li||Li symmetric cells demonstrate a stable cycle performance,and Li||Cu cells show high Coulombic *** Li-S batteries,the formed stable solid-electrolyte interface(SEI)film containing copper sulfides can protect Li anode from the polysulfide corrosion and side reactions with the electrolyte,leading to the compact and smooth surface morphology of Li ***,the Li-S batteries with CuPc additive deliver much higher capacity,better cycle performance and rate capability as compared to the one without CuPc additive.

Dye molecules often change colors(so-called “chromism”) according to the environment variation. However, they are rarely induced by a catalytic amount of cavity. Through encapsulation in the cavity of a porous coordination cage(PCC-2), Rhodamine B(1) is transformed from red quinonoid form(1q) into colorless lactone form(1l) in aprotic polar solutions. The μ4-OH groups in the cavity of PCC-2 are shown to stabilize the uncommon zwitterion intermediate(1z), followed by converting to 1l, thus accelerating the equilibrium. The chromism is catalyzed by 0.25 mol% of PCC-2, and the reaction rate is improved by 80,400times. 1@PCC-2 can be further fabricated to a sol-gel that exhibits ion recognition properties. The resulting encapsulation and stabilization of an unconventional intermediate by a catalytic amount of the coordination cage provides fundamental insights into molecular isomerization and has potential use in chemical sensing.

The deep-ultra deep carbonate reservoir in China, commonly subjected to modification of multi-stage diagenesis, has extremely high heterogeneity. Conventional rock physics analysis cannot accurately identify the elastic responses of reservoir. Here, the rock physics properties of the dolomite from the 4th Member of the Sinian Dengying Formation are experimentally measured, and the change law of rock physics characteristics is investigated within the framework of the diagenetic processes by the analysis of the elastic and petrologic characteristics, pore structure, and sedimentary environments. The results show that the differentiated diagenesis results in different pore structure characteristics and microtexture characteristics of the rock. The microbial dolomite of the algal mound-grain beach facies is subjected to the contemporaneous microbial dolomitization and seepage-reflux dolomitization, penecontemporaneous selective dissolution, burial dolomitization, and hydrothermal dolomitization. The resultant crystalline dolomite is found with one main type of the dolomite crystal contact boundaries,and the dissolution pore is extensive development. The siliceous, muddy, and limy dolomite of the interbeach sea environment mainly experiences the weak capillary concentration dolomitization, intensive mechanical compaction-induced densification, and burial dolomitization. Such crystalline dolomite is observed with four types of contact boundaries, namely the dolomite contact, clay contact, quartz contact, and calcite contact boundaries, and porosity mostly attributed to residual primary inter-granular or crystalline pores. The samples with the same crystal boundary condition have consistent correlations between the compressional-and shear-wave velocities, and between the compressional-wave velocity and the velocity ratio. Understanding the distribution,dispersal,and correlation of modern pollen with vegetation in mountainous regions is essential for establishing accurate modern analogs for fossil pollen *** study,conducted in Leigong Mountain on the YunnanGuizhou Plateau of southwestern China,involved the collection of 35 surface soil samples from diverse vegetation communities along an elevational gradient ranging from 1210 to 1875 *** results reveal a close correspondence between modern pollen assemblages and vegetation *** Component Analysis(PCA)results indicate that pollen assemblages can effectively distinguish between subtropical montane evergreen broad-leaved forest(SEBF)and subtropical montane deciduous broadleaved forest(SDBF).However,both SEBF and SDBF show significant overlap with subtropical montane evergreen-deciduous broad-leaved mixed forest(SEMF).Detrended Correspondence Analysis(DCA)results clearly distinguish the three vegetation zones,and the first axis of DCA shows a significant positive correlation with elevation(p<0.01,R=0.48).Discriminant Analysis(DA)successfully assigns 94.4%of the modern pollen samples to their respective vegetation *** taxa such as Impatiens,Astertype,and Rosaceae exhibit significant indicative capabilities for the SEBF zone,effectively distinguishing this vegetation zone from *** and Alnus display overrepresentation in the Leigong Mountain region,while Quercus(D,deciduous-type)and Poaceae exhibit high representation in the SEBF *** the SEBF zone,both pollen diversity and richness are the *** study reveals the complex relationship between the richness and diversity of pollen and *** diversity and richness of tree and shrub pollen are found to be lower than those of the corresponding *** pollen-vegetation relationship elucidated in this study serves as a critical reference for reconstructing ancient environments from fossil pollen retrieved in this region.

The heat transfer and stability of methane hydrate in reservoirs have a direct impact on the drilling and production efficiency of hydrate resources, especially in complex stress environments caused by formation subsidence. In this study, we investigated the thermal transport and structural stability of methane hydrate under triaxial compression using molecular dynamics simulations. The results suggest that the thermal conductivity of methane hydrate increases with increasing compression strain. Two phonon transport mechanisms were identified as factors enhancing thermal conductivity. At low compressive strains, a low-frequency phonon transport channel was established due to the overlap of phonon vibration peaks between methane and water molecules. At high compressive strains, the filling of larger phonon bandgaps facilitated the opening of more phonon transport channels. Additionally, we found that a strain of -0.04 is a watershed point, where methane hydrate transitions from stable to unstable. Furthermore, a strain of -0.06 marks the threshold at which the diffusion capacities of methane and water molecules are at their peaks. At a higher strain of -0.08, the increased volume compression reduces the available space, limiting the diffusion ability of water and methane molecules within the hydrate. The synergistic effect of the strong diffusion ability and high probability of collision between atoms increases the thermal conductivity of hydrates during the unstable period compared to the stable period. Our findings offer valuable theoretical insights into the thermal conductivity and stability of methane hydrates in reservoir stress environments.
